A/N: Well, here I am again! I hope you all enjoyed the first chapter of This Time Around. A little explanation about our characters….

 

This story is set in an A/U. Unfortunately; there won't be any mention of the Millennium items. There will be Duel Monsters, but only in passing, as they are the basis of Kaiba's company, and a part of Yami's business holdings, as well as Sugoroku's shop. We will be seeing bits and pieces of Yami's past(not in Egypt) and the reasons why he has problems with his family and how he met Yugi.

In this story, Yami is from an extremely wealthy family, and he is heir to the family business. But he's not yet ready to take over. Basically, he wants to sow his wild oats, and concentrate on Yugi and his music. He's basically a genius-great at his music and business-which is the cause of the rift between him and his father. His father wants to use his brilliance for the sake of the company, but Yami refuses.

He left Japan because of that, as his father used his influence to prevent him form getting a record deal. This was one the reasons he had to leave Japan.

He's crazy in love with Yugi, but isn't sure of the reception he'll receive on his returm.
