To The Bahamas We go

Chapter three

The next morning was a peaceful one. The sun was shining brightly. The birds

chirped and flew over head of the boat. The see was calm for the most part. Nothing

could ruin this perfect morning. "What the hell?!" a scream rang out. Everyone ran

into a bed room where the scream came from. What they saw, they never expected.

Alex had Marik pinned to the wall, hands around his neck. He was trying to strangle

him. Adrian was behind his brother, trying to pry him off of Marik. "Brother please,

let go of him." Adrian begged his older sibling. "No!" Alex yelled harshly at his

brother. "I give you strict orders that no one is to go near you and you disobey me.

Adrian, I'm ashamed of you. Now you must be punished." Alex growled. He dropped

Marik and went after Adrian who was backing up onto his bed. "Alex stop, you're

Scaring me! You're acting like father!" Adrian screamed at Alex, just as his hand

came across his face.

Slap

Adrian held his cheek and looked up at his brother with teary eyes. His brother's

eyes were glazed over in blind furry. "You pathetic weakling. I should just let father

have his way with you." Alex sneered and left the room. Adrian kept telling himself

that he was not going to cry, but he couldn't stop himself. With a loud wail Adrian

buried his head into his hands and cried. Marik, who recovered form the shock, ran

over to Adrian and brought him into a comforting embrace. "Shhh. There, there,

everything is going to be alright." Marik said soothingly, while rubbing Adrian's back.

"How? My brother just hit me. He's never touched me like that. How is everything

going to be alright?" Adrian cried, burring his head into Marik's shoulder. Truth be

told, Marik had no idea how everything was going to be alright. He looked to the

other's for some help. Ryou walked over to the pair and sat down next to them. He

placed a hand under Adrian's chin and lifted his head up. "Adrian, your brother is

trying isolate you from the world and you're letting him. Dry your tears, I know you're

much stronger than this. Don't let what your brother did to you break your barriers.

You mean so much to us and we would never let anyone hurt you." Ryou told him.

He looked deep into Adrian's eyes, into his soul, and saw the light coming back to

life. The tears stopped running, and few sniffles escaped his nose. Then he did the

thing that had everyone melting. He smiled warmly at Ryou. "Thank you, Ryou.

You're right; I shouldn't let this bother me anymore." With that said, Adrian leaned

off of Marik, and forwards to Ryou. He leaned in and captured Ryou's lips in a tender

kiss that had Ryou instantly melting into him. After a few minutes they broke apart.

Adrian leaned his forehead against Ryou's and they looked into each others eyes.

"I love you." he said. He looked up at the four left in the room. "I love all of you as

well." he told them. "We love you too. You know that." Malik said. The others

nodded. "Now, how about we all go and get something to eat?" Yami asked. "Yay!"

Adrian cheered, getting off his bed and running out the room. "You know, sometimes

I wonder if he could be related to Joey." Yami said, following Adrian, the rest

following him. In the dinning room they spotted Mai, Serenity, T`ea, and Isis watching

Adrian engorge himself. "Oh yeah, he's defiantly related to Joey." Yugi said. Adrian

paused for a moment, upon hearing his name being called. He smiled at his loves

and then went back to eating. The others just sweat dropped. Unknown to them,

Alex watched his brother from the window. `As long as he's happy, I should be too.'

he thought to himself.
