Mokuba was sitting in his room, all alone. It was always like this for him when Seto wasn’t around. As High Priest Seto Kaiba had a lot of responsibilities and Mokuba knew that. He only wanted some one to play with when Seto wasn’t there.
“Mokuba, are you alright?” came a voice. It was Seto Kaiba back from a hard days work.
“Big Brother,” screamed Mokuba running to his brother and giving him a big hug.
“Yes Mokuba, I’m here,” Seto smiled returning the hug.
“Seto I was so bored without you,” Mokuba said.
“I know. So I have a little surprise for you,” said Seto.
“What?” asked Mokuba.
“You and I are going to the slave village to find you two house slaves to play with while I’m not here,” replied Seto.
“YEAH!” hollered Mokuba jumping up for joy.
“Master Mokuba, I hate to disturb you but it is time for you to take your bath,” said one of the old house slaves.
“Oh man,” sighed Mokuba.
“Don’t worry, I’ll go and pick them up,” said Seto.
“Alright,” with one final hug to Seto, a disappointed Mokuba went to take his bath.

Cat and Erika were by the public well. It was their usual meeting place.
“So did you here?” Cat asked.
“No, what’s going on?” Erika asked.
“Seto Kaiba, that hot High Priest is looking for two house slaves,” Cat seemed really excited about this.
“Yeah, but Cat who ever he picks those two slaves have to leave their families forever,” sighed Erika.
“Oh yeah, I forgot about that,” Cat frowned.
All of a sudden the slave auctioneer came to where the two girls were standing. He had a large piece of papyrus in his hands and the girls didn’t like the look of it.
“You two maidens are to come with me,” he said in a monotone voice.
“Why?” they asked at the same time.
“High Priest Seto Kaiba will be choosing from you and eight other girls for his new house slaves,” and with that, Erika and Cat were put into chains. They were now forced to go.

Erika and Cat were standing next to each other. For all they could see, they were the only ones in chains while the other girls were not.
“Cat this doesn’t look good,” said Erika.
“I know, but what can we do? If the high priest doesn’t pick us, we’ll be auctioned off,” sighed Cat.
“Than I guess we can’t fight it,” said Erika. All of a sudden a whip hit her back. “AHHHHHHHHH!”
“Erika are you okay?” Cat asked.
“I think so,” Erika whispered.
“AHHHHHHHH!” the same whip hit Cat.
“You two no talking while the high priest is deciding,” said the slave master.
“What is going on here?” came a cold voice. It was Seto Kaiba.
“These to slave girls were talking bad about you,” said the slave master.
“No we weren’t...Ahhhhhh,” Erika was whipped again. This time it was so hard she fell.
“Hey we may be slaves but you have no right to do this to us...Ughhhhhh,” Cat to was whipped again and like Erika she fell.
“Stop this!” ordered Seto. He bent down to the girls. “Even I don’t treat my slaves like this.” In a kinder voice he said to Cat and Erika, “Are you two okay?”
“I think so,” said Cat looking into his eyes.
“I’ve been better,” replied Erika also looking in his eyes.
Seto’s cold sapphire eyes were full of a rare warmth and understanding look. “I choose these to girls right here to be my house slaves,” he said.
“What did he say?” Cat and Erika looked at each other in disbelief.
