Erika backed away slightly from Cat looking a little scared, Cat never yelled.

Cat stared at Erika, hands on her hips.

“Well?” she prodded.

“I just wanted to finish the drawing really fast.” Erika said. Erika wasn’t ready to tell Cat about her and Seto yet, because she knew that Cat liked Seto and she didn’t want her friend to get hurt because Seto chose her. Cat looked at Erika with a raised eyebrow and Erika knew that Cat didn’t believe her for a second.

“I was, I didn’t realize it was going to take so long. I’m sorry.” She said.

Cat sighed as she sat down on her bed. “Yeah ok. Just got kinda worried when you didn’t come back.” She said. Erika smiled as she sat down on her own bed and turned to face Cat.

“So what have you been up to today?” Erika asked. Cat thought back to her moment with Seto in the garden. She didn’t want to make Erika upset because Seto had chosen her.

“Oh, nothing much.” Cat said smiling to herself.

”What are you smiling about?” Erika asked.

“Nothing.” Cat said. “So let me see the sketch you did.” Cat said trying to change the subject. Erika picked up the book and was about to hand it to Cat when she remembered the picture of her and Seto in the back.

“Actually, it’s not finished.” Erika said taking the book back. Cat blinked in surprise.

“But you just said that you stayed in the drawing room to finish it.” Cat said.

“I tried to but it got too late.” Erika said.

“Awww come on Erika. Let me see.” Cat persisted as she tried to grab the book as Erika held it away.

“No, I’ll let you see when I’m done. Just wait.” She said.

Cat nodded as she shrugged. “Fine.” She said. The two were quiet for a while when Erika broke the silence.

“Hey, I saw Seto heading toward the garden today while you were out there. Did you see him out there?” Erika asked casually.

Seto was walking past their room when he heard the question. He stood outside of the doorway waiting for an answer.

Cat looked up at her. “Ummm, yeah...yeah I saw him.” She said.

“Really? Did you guys talk or anything?” Erika pressed. Seto pressed his ear closer to the door to hear her answer.

“Yeah,” Cat answered distantly. “He heard me singing.” She said.

“OH?” Erika asked. “What did he say?”

“Oh, nothing.” Cat said as Seto lowered his eyes. Nothing? So that kiss was nothing? He began to feel his eyes water. How could that kiss be nothing?

“What about you and Seto in the drawing room?” Cat asked. “I think he was heading your way when he left.” Erika lowered her head, trying to hide her blush.

“Yeah, he walked through.” Erika said.

“Anything happen?” Cat pressed. Erika shook her head.

“Nothing.” She said. Seto moved away from the door, he had heard enough. His eyes were full of tears. The two girls he loved were in denial of the kiss he gave them. It was a disaster.

“Let’s go to sleep.” Cat said. “You know Mokuba, he likes to get up early in the morning.”

“That he does.” Erika agreed glad for the change in subject. The two girls said their good nights as they went to sleep.

(Mokuba’s room)

Erika was moving around Mokuba’s room, picking up after him when Mokuba walked in.

“Hi Erika!” he said cheerfully as she looked at him.

“Hey, where’s Cat?” she asked. Mokuba thought for a moment. “I think Seto wanted to see her.” Erika nodded as Mokuba helped her clean up his room.

“Do you like Seto?” Mokuba asked suddenly. Erika blushed red as she put a couple of toys in the toy box.

“Why would you ask that?” She asked him.

“I saw you kissing him in the hall yesterday.” Mokuba said smiling as a deep blush lit up Erika’s face.

“Yes, I do like him.” She said as Mokuba nodded. “But don’t tell Cat.” Erika was trying her best to fight off her tears. She knew that if it was Cat that Mokuba was talking to, she would be doing the same.

Mokuba looked at her curiously as he tilted his head. “Why?” he asked.

“Because I know that she likes him too and I don’t want her to get hurt.” She said.

Mokuba opened his mouth but shut it again. Obviously Cat and Erika both liked Seto and the other knew, but what they didn’t know was that Seto liked both too and he didn’t know who to choose. Mokuba decided not to say anything as he helped her clean the room. He wondered what Seto wanted to see Cat for. What Mokuba was even more curious about was what was Seto going to do when he found out that the two girls he loved, loved him back?
