Light&Dark:
True balance between opposites.
It hurts you know.. when nobody listens.. when nobody cares, when no one see's the pain you've been through every day. When they refuse to see. When they refuse to beleive.. my reality holds much pain.. but at least I see.. at least I beleive and accept.. and I've lived through it all. 5000 years and I'm still alive.
But *He* listened. He listened when I spoke, he watched and beleived and encouraged me. In turn I helped him with his fight to save his friends and family. He is my light and he has dedicated himself to listening, for I am the most importent thing to him. He see's, He beleives, and most of all, he accepts wholeheartedly.
Even knowing makes me happy.
His praise makes my heart feel lighter.
I am dark and I live in the shadows.
Without light.. there are no shadows.
Which comes first: The light or the dark?
Certainly they created each other.. for one cannot live without the other to balance it.
Light brings heat and promises of life. Ever Trusting and true.
Dark soothes the harshness of the heat.. but promises death. Always wary of lies.
So you see.. dark and light do not oppose each other.. but we lean on eachother for support. Without the other we never feel whole, without our shadow .. without our light..
I do not know how I survived these years without him now that I am with my light.. we are eternity, forever, our history will repeat itself to the end of time.
I would not have it any other way.

I was thinking of Yami and Yugi while writing this.. but in truth it can go for every yami and hikari.. but as you can see.. they have a slightly closer bond than any of the other Yami's and Hikari's ^_^; So it fits much better. I *DO* know it was short.. but I wrote it in 10 minutes.. gotta give me credit for that. Umm.. I wasn't going for yaoi.. but you can twist it if you like ^^' Requests for a sequel (an actual story) will be thought over..
