Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan Fiction ❯ True Caos ❯ Kaiba's and Ishizu's time before the tournament ( Chapter 1 )
Kaiba sat quietly in his study; he was going over a whole new deck strategy. It was raining heavily outside, the kind of weather Kaiba loved to work in. Ever since he had his Blue Eyes stolen a week ago, he'd tried to make a deck without them. It was very difficult; those cards had been the heart, and soul of his deck. They had always been with him; it was those three that helped make him famous. They were the key to unlocking the true Kaiba: it was those that took Exodia's onslaught, and awakened him. It was them who helped bring down Yugi, up on Pegasus' castle. There was only one other Blue Eyes White Dragon in existence and that had been ripped up by his own two hands! Even then it only stayed that way for a year, some how it had been restored.
Yugi gave the foolish excuse that it was healed by magic, but there is no such thing. Always trying to prove magic was fake, he was finally hit with the realization it existed. He had struggled to come up with any solid strategies; it was like he'd never played duel monsters. With the knock of his door, Kaiba quickly became cool and collected.
"Enter." Kaiba turned slowly to see who dared enter his study
Ishizu walked through the door. The two had become very close, just after Battle City. She moved in with Kaiba, nearly a year ago. Showing her attractive side, Ishizu was wearing a nearly transparent night gown. Under this she was wearing a black thong, and a very revealing bra. It was plain to see she was coming to comfort Kaiba and help with his dueling. Almost gliding, Ishizu made her way next to Kaiba. As she stopped, Kaiba lightly grabbed her ass, and then finished slipping his arm around her waist. Merely giggling, Ishizu spoke.
"Kaiba…Seto, you need to relax if you ever hope to finish this deck."
As she spoke, she shuffled through the vast amounts of Kaiba's duel monster cards. Her tanned fingers plucked up two cards; they were Lajinn the mystical gene of the lamp, and ancient lamp. She showed them to Kaiba, he couldn't help but feel stupid. This combo had broken a many duelist's spirits and he had forgotten it.
"Ishizu, what could I do with out you?" Kaiba had been smiling since she had entered the room.
"Other woman." Ishizu laughed a soft laugh.
Kaiba chuckled and scooted back, just enough so Ishizu could set on his legs. They then went to work on his deck. Kaiba for once listened to someone else's ideas. Combos just came out of Ishizu's mouth. Kaiba was astonished by all of her knowledge. He only allowed himself to pick the ones he liked, Ishizu just marveled at the humbled champion. Within a few hours and a whole lot of "ooh now that's a smart combo," the deck was finished. Smiling Ishizu called into the p.a. on Kaiba's desk, "Please send in our two specialists."
Not for sure what she meant Kaiba poked her in the ass cheek with his middle finger. Ishizu turned around meeting his blank gaze, "Kaiba dear these two are just here to show you how your deck performs."
His gaze went from blank to champion the second the two entered. The two were quite a pair. One was dressed in a black tuxedo, with a blue tie, while the other wore a pair of shorts and a Kaiba Corp. shirt. Each had a duel disk on their right arm; it wasn't uncommon to see people with them. Seeing Ishizu's outfit choice, they weren't for sure if they were supposed to be there. Kaiba smiled, picking up his deck, and sliding it carefully into his deck holder. Ishizu also grabbed a duel disk, placing her deck into the respective holder. All four of their life points rolled over to 4000. The one in the tux was the first to go.
"I discard from my hand a Thunder dragon, so now I'm allowed to pull to more out of my deck."
As he did so he reshuffled and continued his turn. "Now I use Polymerization and fuse my two Dragons, making the Twin headed thunder dragon in attack mode."
The usual swirl of polymerization sucked up the two thunder dragons, only to disappear, and reappear as a hulking two head giant.
Kaiba thought to himself, "This guy can't get any more predictable."
Ishuzu drew her sixth card. "I set one monster face down, and then I play two more cards face down." She always started very secretive; Kaiba couldn't ever remember her starting out strong.
The one in shorts looked very anxious to get his turn going. "I play Burning Impachi in attack mode, I'm done."
A tree started to walkout on the field, but as it came closer to the middle it burst into flames. Kaiba chuckled as he drew his sixth card. "Well I might as well start as strong as possible, so I first special summon Gilasaurus."
A raptor came tearing out onto the field, it was ready to kill. No one argued; they knew gilasaurus' effect. "I now play change of heart on Thunder Dragon, then tribute I tribute both Gilasaurus and Thunder Dragon for Tyrant Dragon."
An angel half demon appeared on the field and tainted the Thunder Dragon to side with Kaiba. But as soon as the monster had trudged over to Kaiba's side, it and Gilasaurus burst into millions of little squares. The multicolored squares reassembled into a giant red dragon. Between its eyes was a green emerald.
"Now my beast, attack Shawn's unprotected life points. The beast raised up his head, opening his gaping mouth. A green fire appeared, it was growing into a large fire ball. With a jerk of its head, the fire ball was released. It connected furiously with the man in the tuxedo's body, his life points rolled down to 1100 in a single attack. Smiling Kaiba continued his entourage against his opponents Impachi.
"Now my beast, destroy the Burning Impachi." Challenging Kaiba the other duelist became outraged.
"Kaiba, you can't bend the rules…" he was readily cut off by Ishizu.
"Tyrant dragon can attack twice, it even states in the cards text." The other duelist just stood in his place, awe struck.
Now the gem on top of the Tyrant Dragons head began to draw power. Within seconds another green fire ball appeared and with the same head jerk it was released. The Impachi tried to block, but the fire made his skin melt. Even though impachi was on fire, it was blown up into little smoking toothpicks. Shawn's life points then quickly rolled down to 2150.
The turn was know passed onto Shawn, who was still a little angry about losing his most prized monster in the first couple of turns. "All right if I can still win I win with power." "So first off I will play Goblin Attack Force in attack mode, set one card, and have him attack Ishizu's face down monster."
An army of goblin came charging at Ishizu's hidden monster, it was a Royal Magical Library. The books were ripped to shreds and the magical platforms were crushed. Ishizu cringed and waited to seek revenge.
"My turn first I set one monster, then I summon Apprentice Magician in attack mode." I younger version of Dark Magician stepped out onto the field; he had blonde hair, and red ribbon to hold it back. "Now I will play Autonomous action unit, to revive your thunder dragon." From the field a mechanical hand came out, it was holding the thunder dragon. Just a soon as it appeared, it began infecting the dragon. It was soon under Ishiuzu's complete control. But she paid 1500 life points to do it. Kaiba mentally laughed, he had seen some of her large combo's. He had seen some win a game no sweat.
"I will proceed to have my Apprentice attack my face down card, destroying itself in the process." Kaiba had also seen this devious little trick; she had used it to beat him in a friendly match. So the apprentice charged up a dark blast in its staff, it shot it at his hidden comrade. Disappearing, the face up apprentice magician released a spell. As her life points dropped another 400, her deck then ejected itself. She shuffled carefully through her deck and pulled out a spear cretin.
"Before you ask, Apprentice magician allows me to set one 2 stars or lower monster on the field from my deck." As she finished speaking a bolt of lightning struck. She continued her turn, "now I'll have my Dragon attack Keshin's open life points." The Thunder Dragon roared and two separate lightning bolts struck down upon the Goblin Attack Force. Ishizu mentally slapped herself; she forgot teammates could defend on another. "Well then I activate Pyro Clock of Destiny speeding up the turn count up, so I can have Thunder Dragon attack once more." Just as before, a set of massive lightning bolts struck down, this time striking Keshin's unprotected body. His life points rolled down again this time hitting 0. Shawn grew frantic, it was Kaiba's turn, and he was unprotected. With an icy glare, Kaiba waited for his chance to wipe out Shawn.
"I summon Warrior Dai Grepher in attack mode." A black haired warrior stepped out onto the field; he was holding with both hands a green blade. His muscles looked strained, the sword was definitely heavy.
"Now destroy Shawn with your Dragon Charge, my warrior." As Kaiba commanded flame burst out of the sword in the shape of a dragon. For the warrior's size he was very fast, coming upon Shawn he plunged his sword to his heart. Screaming he dropped to his knees; is life points soon plummeted to zero.
Walking over, picking up Shawn, Keshin trudged away with his fallen teammate. He was a little angry, he was only a duelist level trainee, and they pitted him against Kaiba. But he knew now that he had to train harder and definitely rethink his strategy. As the double doors shut, Ishuzu began to talk.
"Oh, wasn't that exhilarating?" Just like Kaiba, a duel made her feel a hundred percent.
"It was ok, but I wish it would have been better if they would have been strong opponents." Kaiba was actually smiling; this wasn't one of his evil smiles, just a normal smile. This was to be also another development since he began dating Ishizu. Pulling out his rolling chair, Kaiba put his feet up on the desk. But just as he set down, Ishizu came over to him setting on his lap. She gazed heavily into his eyes; he was still worried for his dragons.
"Seto, you and I both know that those dragons will come back to you." Her voice was soft, a whisper. But Kaiba just stared into the abyss; he wanted his chance to crush whoever stole his dragons. His mind was trying to cope with the urges to go back to the way he was; ruthless, heartless, and above all deadly.
