I love plotting things! Ryou, Yugi, Malik, Marik, and I have been planning Kitty's surprise party for weeks! I just wish the ever-presant problem of her being able to read minds didn't work for a while. Then again, if she knows about the party she's making it so that we don't know about it. Anyway, so far we have everything set up. I had Ryou bring her on some errand that could last for about an hour and we don't have much time left. I mentally checked everything we needed. Cake? Check. Ice cream? Check. Preasants? Check. All the guests? Wait a second, where's... Oh! There he is. Yup everything is ready. Then I hear Ryou send a message through our mindlink. <Bakura! We're almost home! Make sure everyone is hidden and ready!>
<<Don' t worry, Hikari. We already have everything all set. You're being way too nervous and it wasn't even your idea!>>
<Yeah, well, have you ever been with her while she's driving?>
I laugh before yelling to everybody, "Okay! They're almost here! Everyone hide!"
I hide behind the door so I can turn on the light. Only seconds after I hear Kitty's car pull into the driveway. She must have been going fast because her brakes screech as she stops. I smirk a little at remembering what a pain it was to try and teach her how to drive. I was more than a little surprised when she really did pass her driver's test. I hear Kitty's voice as she goes to open the door, "Why are all the lights out? I thought Bakura was still home when we left."
"He was Kitty, but I told you, he had to go get something from Malik's house. Or at least that's what he told me through the link." I hear Ryou respond simply. If you didn't know he was lying you would've believed every word.
"Oh yeah. I guess I wasn't listening."
"Well that's a surprise," came his sarcastic remark.
Then the door opens and Kitty walks inside. I flip on the light and everyone jumps out yelling 'surprise!' Kitty couldn't of looked more surprised. I came out from behind the door and wrapped my arms around her waist. She looks up at me smiling. Then she looks around the room to see who was there. She smiled at all of them except for Yami who was only there because Yugi had asked if he could. If it was up to me, he wouldn't be here at all, but Ryou said yes before I said no.


When did they start planning this?! And how did they do it without me suspecting something? Oh well! I'll just enjoy my birthday.
"Oh thank you!" I exclaim to Bakura. Somehow I know it was his idea.
"It was nothing, love," he replied kissing my forehead lightly. "It's your birthday after all. You deserve something special."
I leaned into him as someone turned on my stereo. The radio blasts for a second before Bakura says, "Turn that off so we can open the preasants."
"Yippee!" I exclaim again a I rush into the circle of preasants. The others follow me laughing. I know, I'm acting like a little kid, but this was my first surprise party.
Bakura drags me onto his lap. He's holding me so I can't get to the preasants as fast as I want to. I pout a little and he laughs, "Patiences, love. You can wait a couple more seconds."
"I can?" I ask innocently. He laughs again and hands me a preasant from him. I tear off the wrapping paper to reveal an Eminem cd. "Thank you Kura! I don't have this one yet."
"That's why I got it."
Then he gives me one from Yugi and Yami. I hesitate a bit because I really don't like Yami, but decide if Yugi got it too it must be okay. I rip of the paper and pulled out a bunch of Duel Monster cards. I didn't have any cards yet so I should've figured they would change that.
"Thank you both!" I yelled yet again. "I ment to get a deck started."
Then I got a preasant from Malik. I couldn't wait to open it because Malik sympithized with me when Kura took all my matches. I ripped off the paper faster than anyone could've seen and squealed in joy when I pulled out five boxes of matches. I get up and give him a hug. Both Kura and Yami look jealous. Malik smirks at Yami because he knows that Yami likes me. I go back to Kura and give him a kiss. He feels better and hands me a preasant from Ryou. All the while glaring at Malik for giving me matches. He took them away ever since I set his pants on fire when I was hyper two years ago.
I open this preasant and smile when I see a book about plants. Ryou knows I love plants.
"Thank you, Ryou."
This goes on for about another half hour. I'm now surrounded by more matches from Marik, Some more preasants from Kura and Ryou, and another book from Shane. Shane knows I also love snakes and spiders.
Then we have cake! Kura got a marble cake with vanilla frosting. I love vanilla frosting! We eat and talk while my new cd blasts the song 'Who Knew'.


The party goes on the same for about two more hours then everyone goes home.
THE PARTY***********************************


&nbs p; Ryou and I help Kitty take her stuff to her room. I notice that she hangs onto the matches Malik and Marik gave her. I swear I'm going to kill both of them for that. Then again, that incident happened years ago so it probably doesn't matter.
When we're done, Kitty runs up to me and kisses me again. As we pull apart I ask, "So did you have fun?"
"Yup!"
& nbsp; I laugh a little then say, "You know, with how you acted today, I almost thought you were turning two instead of seventeen."
"Very funny," she said sarcastically, "But can two year olds kiss like I do?"
"I highly doubt that. And if they can I want to know how in the seven hells they know how."
She giggles a little and kisses me again. By now it's getting late we finish moving all the preasnts then get ready for bed.
When Kitty comes into our bedroom, she's yawning a little. Damn it! Yawns are somehow extremely contagious so I yawn, too.
"Kitty!" I whine. "You know yawns are contagious!"
"Really?" she asks innocently. "You mean yawns like this..."
She yawns again and laughs as I yawn, too. She crawls into bed and snuggles against me. I put my arms around her and we both fall asleep for the night.


&nb sp; I wake up while it's still dark. I look at the alarm clock and it reads 3 am. I don't want to wake Kura up this early so I snuggle into his arms more and try to go back to sleep. It doesn't work.
Then after a while, I notice Kura begining to wake up. Thinking it was me that woke him up, I made it look like I was still asleep so he would go back to sleep. He stroked my hair for a little while and I purred so he wouldn't suspect I was awake. Soon after that he starts talking softly to me, still thinking I'm asleep.
"I just had a horrible dream, love," he whispers softly. So what? A bad dream has never upset him before. "Though it will inevitably happen."
Now he's got my curiousity. What will happen?
"I dreamt that both you and Ryou died so I was stuck in that damned ring for Ra knows how long. I wish that didn't have to happen. I mean, I know there'll be another reincarnation of Ryou, but I'm not sure about you. Then there'll be those aweful years of being alone in the ring. It'll probably be another millenia or so before another one of my reincarnations walks this planet. I wish there was a way fo you to stay with me forever."
"But there is a way, koi," I whisper to him. I can tell he's surprised because he pulls away a little to see if I'm really awake.
"How? I thought only yamis could live forever."
"No, koi. And it's not a very complicated process. If a yami marries another magick-based ceature, that creature also becomes a spirit in the Milleninium Item. So I could stay with you forever if we ever get married."
"What do you mean "if"?" he asks. "It's more of a when."
"So sure of yourself are we?" I ask playfully as I cuddle, if possible, closer to him.
"Yes I am."
"Okay then, when we get married. But now we need sleep."
"Alright, love. Good night."
"Night."


The night goes on, but as they fall back asleep neither notice a shadow in their doorway. What Kitty had awoken to was the of a door opening. Now the figure creeps toward the sleeping couple.
MORNING***********************************************

I wake up to find Kitty isn't in bed. This doesn't surprise me though. She always gets up early, even on weekends. I go downstairs and look around for her. When I don't see her I look for her cat form around the house. Then I begin to worry a little because I couldn't find her or a note that I know she would have left. I even checked her garden that was always blooming. Nothing.
I rush back inside and wake Ryou up, "Ryou! Wake up!"
"Bakura! Too early!" his voice is muffled by his pillow.
"Ryou! Kitty's missing!"
"Did you check for cat form?"
"Yes."
"A note?"
"There was no note, Ryou," now my patientce was wearing thin. "She was nowhere to be found! And you know she wouldn't have left without telling us or leaving a note!"
He got up and streatched, then eyed me wearily, "Are you sure you couldn't find a note?"
"Yes! I'm sure! I'd stake my life on it that I checked this whole damned house and I couldn't find a trace of her!"
"Fine! Go call some of the others and ask if they've seen her. People forget things ya know."
"Alright," I said, calming down a little."I know! I'll make sure to call everyone and ask if they've seen her!"
Ryou rolled his eyes and that's when I realized that's exactly what he said I should do, "Very good idea, Bakura," he said anyway, but I could hear the sarcasm.
"Jeez! You have been around me too long! Sarcasm sounds weird comming from you."
So I ran down stairs and got the phone. I called everyone except Shane at first. Then I remembered I hadn't called him yet so I did.
"Moshi, moshi," he said sleepily as he picked up the phone.
"Hi, Shane. I didn't wake you up did I?" I asked even though I know the answer.
"Whadda you think dipshit?" he retorted. I could tell he's not a morning person.
"Well, anyway, have you seen Kitty at all today?"
It took me a second to register just how stupid that question was when he just woke up.
"I just woke up! How could I have seen her? And doesn't she always leave notes before she goes somewhere?"
"Yes, but this morning when I woke up, she wasn't here. Cat form or human. Then when I looked around for a note I couldn't find one. Ryou said she might've forgotten, but I don't think so. What if something's wrong? What if something's wrong and she can't use her powers to get out of it? What if...."
"Alright! Shut up! I'm comming over!"
With that he hung up the phone and I was left wondering what happened to saying 'good-bye' before hanging up?


When I woke up, I go to streatch like I usually do, but can't. I try to move my hands, but they're tied together to something. I'm also blindfolded so I can't see a damn thing.
"Hello?" I ask testingly. I want to know who the hell did this so I can kick their ass when I get out of this.
"Morning, Kitty."
"Yami? What the fuck! Untie my now! And where the hell am I!? When I get out of this rope I swear I'll....."
"You can't get out. I did some research. Witches need their hands to perform their spells. So if you can't move your hands, you can't cast spells. And as for your question, since when was I stupid enough to allow you to know where you are?"
"Since I can't do anything about it, baka! I can't use magick, remember! And if I could you'd have yourself a one-way ticket to my dream realm!" I shouted as loud as I could. I don't know why, but it did help me to clear my thoughts a bit.
I could tell he was about to answer before we both heard a voice, "Yami! Where are you! Damn it! Come out! You promised you'd help me with the shop today!" it was Yugi's voice.
I was about to shout to him before Yami whispered, "Say a word and I'll banish both Bakura and Ryou to the shadow realm," all I could do was nod my head before he added, "Now be a good girl. We all know you don't want anything happening to your preshious koibito or his hikari. Comming Yugi!"
So now I knew where I was. Yugi and Yami's place somewhere behind the shop. Now If only I could find out exactly where. I growled softly to myself and wondered how the hell I was going to get out of here. I had no idea what Yami had planned and hoped to every god and goddess on the planet it wasn't anything kinky. If it was then he is so dead when I got my hands on him.
That's when I remembered something. I can send messages to minds of people I'm close to. So I had two shots: my brother and Bakura. Hopefully neither of them are panicing because that will raise mental defenses so high I won't be able to get through. It was worth a try.
I decided to try Bakura first because he rarely ever panics. I concentrate on his mind and try sending a message. Kura? Kura! Damn he's panicing! What the hell Bakura! Oh well, there's still Shane. Shane? Shane you there?
Kitty, is that you?
Yeah, now listen. I'm at Yugi's and Yami's place. Yami decided to be stupid and kidnapped me. Never thought he had the balls to pull something like this off, but guess I was wrong. I dunno where I am in the house, but I'll assume it's Yami's room because no one else ever goes there.
Okay. Bakura and I will be there shortly. Are they even home now?
No. They left for the shop about a half hour ago. Now hurry! These damned ropes are chapping my wrists! And tell Bakura to settle down. Panicing won't help anything.
All right, Kitty. I'll see you in a few.


I snapped back to reality to see Bakura staring at me, "What was that about? You spaced out for a few minutes."
"Kitty contacted me. She says she's somewhere at Yugi's place. She also says to calm down because panicing won't help anything," I replied with a smile.
"Sounds like Kitty to me. Now let's go! I swear when I get my hands on the Pharoh I'll kill him!"
We decided to walk because their house is close by.


Good! They're on their way and I'll soon be rid of this damned house and Yami will find out what my dream realm is like!
That's when I heard the door open. I was excited for a second before I realized they couldn't have gotten here that fast! Damn it! Yami must have come back! He walks up to me and says, "Hello, love. I came home early just to be with you."
Oh how lucky I feel! I think sarcastically.
Then he kisses me. I bite his lip to make him stop, but instead he smacks me.
"Never bite! You belong to me know! You remember that!" he yells all of this as if to intimidate me. "And if you can't, I'll just have to remind you."
I gasped a little. He wasn't saying what I think was. Was he? I had to do something. But I had to make sure Bakura and Shane didn't come in and get sent to the shadow realm.
Shane!
Yeah?
; Yami is here! Make sure you don't come in the house! Hide somewhere near it until he comes out.
But....
&nbs p; Just do it! You don't really want to find out what the shadow realm is like first hand do you?
No.
&n bsp; Then just do it! Tell Bakura to do the same!


When Shane told me what Kitty said I almost didn't do anything. How could she expect me not to do anything? Though the threat of the shadow realm helped a little. We waited in the bushes outside the house until Yami came out the door and started back torwards the shop. Waiting a few moments longer to make sure Yami wasn't comming back, I grew impatient. If he's done anything to her I swear to Ra I'll kill him with my bare hands.
We go inside and upstairs. I pause for a second finding it amusing that Yami doesn't lock the door. When we reach the door I go in first and see Kitty crying on the floor. She's blindfolded and has her hands tied. I hurry over to her and bring her into my arms. I kiss her forehead.
"Kura?" she asks weakly.
"Yes. I'm hear, love. Don't worry."
I wonder why she's crying before she says, "Kura, he..."
Then I realized what happened. Pharoh is goning to die, but right now I have a very upset Kitty in my arms sobbing hysterically.
"Shh, it's all right. I'm here. It'll be fine," I whisper soothingly to her. She begins to calm down. I untie her and take off the blindfold to look in her eyes. I wipe away the tears that are running down her face and kiss her forehead again.
She sighs a little before asking, "Kura? Can we go home now?"
I smile a little and say, "Yes, love. Though he will pay for what he did."
"Yes, but not now. I want to go home and sleep."
Shane and I help her home. I doubt she would've made it there on her own. I can't wait until she feels better. I'm going to love seeing what she's going to do.
When we get home, Shane tells us he has to get going and leaves. I carry Kitty inside and up to our bedroom.
"Kura?" she asks sleepily.
"Yes, love?"
"Can I sleep in your lap? I'll feel safer that way."
"Of course," I reply. I pull her onto my lap and rub her back a little.
Soon after that she falls asleep. I keep my promise and stay with her the entire time. I don't sleep. I don't want to sleep. I'm afraid that if I do, she'll be gone again.


The night goes on without Bakura sleeping any. He really wasn't tired to begin with though.
MORNING**********************************************


I wake up remembering what happened yesterday. When I remember what Yami did I jumped up. Kura looks at me questioningly, but I walk for the door. He gets up and follows me as I begin to walk to Yugi's and Yami's house. Well, soon only Yugi will reside there. Yami, on the other hand, will be gone.
I burst through the door to see a very surprised Yugi and a horrified Yami.
"Hello Kitty!" Yugi says in his usual cheery voice. "What brings you here so early?"
I walk up to Yami with Bakura still following me. I take Yami's and Yugi's hand. Bakura, sensing what I was going to do, grabbed hold of the back of my shirt as I mummbled, "Sarilious!"
When the afteraffects of my magick subsided, Yugi gasped and started running around. Of course this place was going to be like Wonderland for him, but Yami was seeing a whole different world.
"Yami," I said calmly, "I'd like to show you your new home for the rest of eternity."
"What are you talking about, Kitty?" Yugi asked curiously. It was going to be hard explaining what happened to him.
"Your yami kidnapped and raped Kitty," Bakura replied darkly. "Now he has to get what's comming to him."
"Yami?" Yugi questioned, "Is this true?"
"Tell him, Yami," I demand coldly. "Tell him that you've taken something I won't have back ever."
Yami looks helplessly at me, but I feel no sympathy. He looks as if he won't say it, but he whispers, "Yes, Yugi. It's true."
I could see the shame crawling to his face, but I wouldn't have any of it, "Come off it Yami! We all know that you don't feel the least bit sorry about what you did! You said so repeatedly just before you left again for the shop. You are to spend the rest of your life here. Oh yeah, I forgot.... you never die! So now you'll see just how dreams turn to nightmares. You see the wonder land around you? Just watch this!"
I stir up my anger as I remember again what he did to me. The landscape suddenly turns from a peaceful dream to a raging, storm clouded nightmare.
"All this anger, Yami! All of this is your's! Oh yes, might I add my dream creatures into the equation? They're very protective of me. They know who has wronged me and they tortoure them slowly. This will be worse for you becaue of the fact you can't die!"
Yami looks like he's been pertified. He looks so scared. I laugh at the look on his face and say, "It's finally seeping into your mind, isn't it? The fact you'll never get out of here. The fact that you'll never see anything but what lives here. Well, you should've thought about that sooner! Before you kidnapped me. Before you tied me up in your room. Before you raped me!"
I can tell I've scared all three of them. I turn to Bakura and Yugi and say calmly, "Come on you two. Let's go home."
They both nod numbly and hang onto my hands. Yugi stares blankly at his yami before I bring us back to our world.



I can't believe it! I can't believe Yami would do something like this! I don't blame Kitty for doing that.
I continue to think about what just happened before Kitty asked, "Are you all right, Yugi?"
"Yeah," I reply softly. "I just can't believe that Yami could do something like this. I never would've imagined..... ever. He was always so nice to everyone. Well, everyone except you, Bakura, but you were enemies in Ancient Egypt. What could've made him do something like that?"
"He became obsessed, Yugi. I've never mentioned this to anyone else, but Yami knew more about me than anyone else ever has. He watched every move I made so he could know everything there was to know about me. Then, since he didn't get over his obsession, he did that. It's rather sad really."
"But none of that matters now," Bakura cuts in. "He did what he did and there's no forgiving him. At least, not for me anyway."
"Nor me," Kitty adds fiercely. "On to more important matters. Yugi, you don't intend to stay here alone do you?"
"I don't know," I say indesicively.
"You could live at our house with Ryou, Bakura, and I. We have far more than enough rooms. And I don't want you living alone. It's not safe."
I was shocked at that idea, but I had to admit, I didn't want to live on my own. It was a very good offer.
"You think about it, Yugi," Kitty said. "Though I think you should at least spend the night at our place tonight while you think."
"Alright," I agree, "But you don't mind, do you, Bakura?"


I was surprised he was asking if it was alright with me.
"Why wouldn't it?" I ask curiously. "It isn't my house. That and I agree with Kitty. You shouldn't be here alone"
"It's your house too, Kura," Kitty corrected. "And I think it's very polite of you, Yugi, to ask him. So are you going to move in?"
"I guess I will," he answered hesitantly. "I mean, I really don't like being by myself."
"And you won't be if you're with us!" Kitty exclaimed happily. "Then who knows what will happen. You might find a nice girlfriend that wants you to move in with her!"
Yugi and I both begin laughing hysterically. Kitty looks very confused and asks, "What's so funny? What did I say?!"
"It wouldn't have been funny if I weren't gay, Kitty," Yugi respondes before cracking up again.
She blushes a little before forcing it back down and saying curiously, "You're gay? I never knew. And I never found out why because...?"
She's looking at us know, waiting for an answer. I can't come up with one, but Yugi replies, "You never asked."
We both start cracking up again. This time we can't stop.
"Smart ass!" Kitty yells at us before growing very quiet and grinning at us.
"Come on! What could you possibley be planning now?" I ask. She still stands there smirking until I begin to grow very uneasy.
Finally, she answers, "Oh, nothing. I was just remembering something you guys don't know. Something you would find very interesting. Well, at least you would, Yugi."

&nbs p; Now they're curious. Yugi looks confused and Bakura does, too. They're looking at me expectantly. They think I'm going to tell them! Bakura would go crazy if he found out Ryou was also gay. Ryou never told him because he was afraid of how his yami would react. He told me though because he knew I'd understand. The part that would make Yugi interested is that Ryou likes him.
"Well?" Kura asks. "What is it?"
I laugh before saying, "I got you two to stop laughing at me! And you thought there was something I was really going to tell you!"
I laugh for a while longer before Kura picks me up and starts walking home. He stops walking as I stop laughing and turns to Yugi, "Go get your stuff packed. We'll come back with the others to help bring it over. I need to call Ryou who is at Ricky's worrying about Kitty still."
"All right," he replies.
We head back to our house and call Ryou. After that, we call some of the others to ask if they'll help.
About and hour later, we're all standing outside Yugi's house. Kura and I are the last ones to get there and as Ryou sees me he runs up and hugs me, "Kitty everyone's been so worried! What happened to you? Shane wouldn't tell us anything saying it was up to you if we found out or not. And why is Yugi moving in with us? Where's Yami?"
"Calm down, Ryou!" I shout over the excited teen. "Yami is now in my dream realm. He kidnapped me. Yugi is moving in with us because I asked if he would because I didn't want him living alone."
<Aren't you going to tell them about Yami raping you?> Bakura sent through my mind.
No. They don't need to know that. You saw how worried Ryou was without even knowing what was wrong. If he found out he'd totally have a heart attack.
<You're right, as usual. How did you get so smart?>
The acadamy.
"All right everybody!" Bakura said out loud. "Time to help Yugi move his stuff!"

&nbs p; A couple hours later, everything is moved. Most of that time was spent arguing if you hadn't guessed already.
HOURS LATER************************************

&n bsp; "Alrighty!" I sighed as we finished. "This'll be your room, Yugi."
I had chosen a room right across the hall from Ryou. When Ryou saw this he glared at me. I pulled off an innocent face and smiled. Ryou glaring just looked cute, not frightening. He knew this. Mainly because I tell him so every time he does it. Though he tries anyway.
Ryou helps Yugi unpack. While he's doing this I decide to talk to Ryou about his little crush on Yugi.
Hey, Ryou.
<<What do you want Kitty.>>
No need to be testy
<<Care to explain why you put Yugi's room across from mine? You know I like him!>>
Then why not tell him?
<<Kitty , I can't. He won't feel the same way! I know for a fact he's not gay>>
Then you're wrong, Ryou.
He looks at me curiously. I nod, confirming what I said. I walk down the hallway to give Ryou some time to talk to Yugi.
You better tell him, Ryou. If you don't I'll just do it for you.
<<Fine, I'll tell him. If I do you better get off my case>>
Of course I will! I'll have nothing to bug you about after you do.
I continue down the hallway as I hear Ryou begin talking to Yugi. I don't want to know the outcome until Ryou is ready to tell me. Or I lose it and read his mind. Which ever comes first. Anyway, I go and find Bakura. I know where he is and that he's waiting for me, but I pretend to be looking for him.


Where is she?! I wanted to leave twenty minutes ago! She's doing this on purpose!
<Kitty!>
Yes, Koi?
<Where are you?>
In the house.
<Where in the house>
Behind you.
I turn around to have Kitty wrap her arms around my neck asking, "So when are we leaving?"
"We were supposed to leave twenty-five minutes ago, Kitty."
"Don't be mad at me. I was trying to help Yugi," she replies sadly.
"I couldn't be mad at you. It's impossible."
"Okay! Let's go! Oh yeah... ummm.... where are we going?"
I laugh while saying, "It's a surprise. Now come here for a second."
She walks over to me and I take out a blindfold from my pocket and cover her eyes with it. She shudders visably before I remember that blindfolds might not be such a good idea. After all that just happened recently, I'm surprised she doesn't tear it back off.
"I'm sorry, love. I forgot you wouldn't like to be blindfolded."
She smiles and says, "It's all right. You want it to be a surprise."

&nbs p; I walk up to Yugi, not really knowing what I'm going to say. I think for a second but nothing comes. Oh hell, I'll just tell him and hope I don't get let down.
"Ummm... Yugi?"
"Yes, Ryou?"
"Uhh.... What would you do if one your friends likes you?"
"I dunno. I guess it would depend on who it is."
"Okay. I'll name people and you tell me if you'd go out with them. Okay?"
"Alright."
&n bsp; "Tea?"
"No way in hell."
"Why not?"
"For two reasons. One, I'm gay and two, she's annoying as hell."
"Okay, Malik or Marik?"
"Maybe, because they're hott."
"Well, that was a little too much info. How 'bout Joey?"
"No. He's one of my best friends. It'd be too weird."
"Okay. How about..... Me?"
"You?" he asked curiously. "Yes."
"Really?" now it was my turn to be surprised.
"Yeah. Why not? You're the best person anyone could ask to be with."
I can tell I'm blushing. I like compliments. Especially ones from Yugi, "Alright. Cool. Now you have to guess who it is that likes you."
"Tea?"
& nbsp; "No."
"Malik?"
&n bsp; "I have no idea. Or Marik."
"Joey?"

"Then that could only leave..... you. Oh!"
I started blushing madly. I can tell he notices. Yugi smiles a little to himself. I guess he's thinking. Appearantly it's a good thought though.
Finally he smiles at me and says, "I'm glad it's you."
I nearly fall down with surprise, "Huh?" not a very dignified answer, but it works for me.
"I said I'm glad. I've been wanting to tell you the same thing for a couple years."
I'm still having trouble believing this is happening. I mean, I've been in love with him for a while and I finally tell him to find out that he feels the same! I feel really happy. Really really happy, "Really?" I ask anyway, just to make sure I heard right.
"Yes. I've been wanting to tell you for ages! I was afraid you'd never talk to me again if I told you, though."
I start laughing. Well, it started as a giggle, but went full to laughing. Yugi looks at me strangely before I say, "It's just so ironic! I didn't tell you because I was afraid you would hate me after. You didn't tell me for those same reasons!"
"I guess that is funny," Yugi replied walking up to me.
Yugi's grown over the last two years. Now he's a bit taller than me. He's now really close and I feel really light headed. He wraps his around me waist and leans down. I meet him half way and we share a kiss. I've been waiting for this kiss Ra knows how long.

&nbs p; "Please tell me?"
"No, Kitty. I want it to be a surprise."
I've been bugging him on where we're going for the last five minutes. Of course I could always read his mind, but that wouldn't be as fun. Anyway, I can tell he really wants it to be a surprise. I decide to stop annoying him for a little while and ask Ryou how talking to Yugi went.
Ryou?
; <<Huh? Oh! Hi, Kitty!>>
You sound happy. Good news I take it?
<<Yes! Yugi said he likes me, too! Then he kissed me. Now we're cuddling on the couch.>>
I send a laugh through his mind. I'm glad. I wanted you to tell him. I didn't know he was gay until today.
<<Nei ther did I.>>
Then I hear Kura talking to me. I'll talk to you later, Ryou. Kura's talking to me.
"What, Kura?"
"I said we're here."
He got out of the car and opened my door. He helped me out and pulled off the blindfold. I got really excited.
"A dance club!" I squealed happily.
"Yes, love. I know how much you love to dance. Not to mention how good you are at it."
I blushed at the comment, "I'm not that good."
"Oh come on! You're excellant."
"Alright, alright. I'm just happy I wore my favorite dance outfit."
I was wearing my black leather halter and black leather flares.
"Yeah, and you look great. Now come on! We need to dance."
We both walk into the club and head towards the dance floor. On the way there, however, someone comes running up to me. They hug me saying, "Hi, Kitty! It's been a long time."
I look at her for a second before I recognize her, "Atara!" I exclaim happily. "How have you been? Where have you been?"
"I'm fine. I've been studying more with the acadamy. I needed to in order to learn how to use my sword with my magick."
"That sounds great! I should've figured you would stay at the acadamy longer. You always had your nose in a book. So do have a special someone now? Or are you still a girl with her mind on studies?"
Bakura clears his throat a bit, "Are you going to introduce me, Kitty?"
"Oh yeah! I almost forgot. Atara, this is Bakura. He's my boyfriend. We've been together for..... ummm... oh yeah, two years!"
"Really? Nice to meet you, Bakura," Atara greeted politely.
"Same here."
"Oh yeah! And he's a spirit from one of the Millenium Items!" I added with a sudden hyperness.
"He is?" she asked curiously. "So where is your lighter side, Bakura?"
"He's at home, Atara," I answered, "Anyways, me and Kura gotta dance! See ya later, Atara!"
"Later, Kitty!" she yelled back as she headed towards the door.

&n bsp; I walk up behind Kitty and wrap my arms around her waist, "Ready to dance, Kitten?"
"Aren't I always?" she ask as she wraps her arms around my neck.
We dance slowly no matter how fast the song was for two hours. It was around eleven and I asked, "Don't you think it's time to go, love?"
"One more song. Please? I love this song."
"Where have I heard that before?" I ask remembering our first dance. "Alright, but you better not fall asleep this time."
"I'm not even tired," came her response.
When the song ended, we left for my car. We drove off listening to the same song we had just danced to. The same song that we listened to two years ago while we were dancing. Our song we called it. 'Change' by Good Charlotte. Our favorite band.
When we pulled into the driveway, Kitty and I raced to the door. She almost won, but I ran faster and scooped her up into my arms. I carried her inside only to drop her at the sight on our couch. Ryou and Yugi were snuggled up watching T.V..
"Hey! What was that for, Kura!" she demanded. I pointed to the two on the couch.
She looked over there for a second before saying, "So? That's no reason to drop me."
Then I realized something, "You knew, didn't you?" I wasn't mad, I was just curious.
"Yeah. For the last three hours. Now help me up!"
I helped her up and realized Ryou and Yugi had been looking at me funny.
"So, hikari, when were you planning on telling me you were gay?" I asked.
"Ummmm.... I dunno... When you asked?"
The three of them cracked up. They laughed for a few minutes while I waited for them to finish.
"Then maybe we should move your stuff again, Yugi," I reply coolly.
"Oh come on, Kura!" Kitty complained. "You know we were just kidding around."
I wrap my arms around her waist and say, "So was I love. I just happen to have a dryer sense of humor than you do."
"Your sense of humor isn't dry. You just say some pretty perverted things!" Ryou countered.
"He's right, koi," Kitty agreed, "You just have a sick mind that tainted your hikari!"
"You say that like it's a bad thing," I said in mock hurt as i nibble on her ear.
"Well, it is and it isn't. Depends on your point of veiw. Now can we go to bed? I'm sleepy," Kitty asks while yawning slightly.
"Alright. Yugi, Ryou? Make sure you two don't stay up too late. We start school again tomorrow."
"Okay, Bakura," they answer in unison.
