[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]
When I can't see right in your eyes
He ran through the darkness, frantically searching for an escape from this Hell. Lavender eyes were all around him, mocking his weaknesses.
When I'm surrounded in the craziness of time
Tears ran down his face, the eyes were laughing at him, forever tormenting him. His light was growing ever darker. Soon he would be exactly like his dark twin; it would only be a matter of time…
When understanding is trying hard to stand still, when I will lay aside my pride
Memories flashed before his eyes as he stumbled. His darkness used to be understanding…Then that damned thief had come along and ruined everything.
You should-
Undress me, undress me, unlock this chain and set me free, remind me to be myself
Undress me, undress me, unleash the heart and let me see, when I become someone else
Battle City- When his darkness had taken control over him.
Whenever I'm trapped in this time
When his darkling was duelling the Pharaoh; when he was sacrificing his light's body and soul.
When I've forgotten that there is you and I
When he had forgotten that he and his dark shared a body and tried to live a normal life.
When your persuasion is fighting in a blindfold
Gentle caresses, coaxing him into believing. He had thought that he was gone. He tried to persuade him, but as they say, ignorance is bliss.
When I will not back
And now he was trapped. He thrashed around wildly, cuts and bruises appearing on his starved figure.
Boots do not run
He was walking towards him now, he could hear him. Thick metal-toed army boots came into his sight and he gave up all hopes of escape. He had submitted yet again.
You should-
Undress me, undress me, unlock this chain and set me free, remind me to be myself, myself
Undress me, undress me, unleash the heart and make me see, when I become someone else
His tanned hand reached out of the shadows and caressed his light's face, his lavender eyes mocking once again.
“Poor hikari-mine.” He growled, backhanding him.
Like a rose without its thorn
All innocence was lost. All sanity gone.
Like a bird without a song
He began to scream loudly, thrashing once more. `Not again. Never again.'
Like a fire without the flame
Fire-like shadows leapt out from his hands and surrounded his darkling, who sent out a wave of his own shadows to defend himself.
If there's a parent's love, we wouldn't be the same
His dark cackled wickedly as he extinguished the weak flames.
“That's right hikari-mine, hate me, hate your father, your mother, your sister.” He hissed, eyes gleaming.
“Give me power.”
Undress me, undress me, unlock this chain and set me free, remind me to be myself, myself
Undress me, undress me, unleash my heart and make me see, when I become someone else
Undress me, undress me, unlock this chain and set me free, remind me to be myself, myself
Undress me, undress me, unleash my heart and make me see, when I become someone else
He began to fight again, tears spilling from his eyes. His mind unwillingly conjured up memories of his initiation, his adoptive brother's murder, Battle City, the Rare Hunters, Yami no Bakura…And the Pharaoh.
Undress me, undress me, unlock this chain and set me free, remind me to be myself, myself
Undress me, undress me, unleash my heart and make me see
There was no-one to save him this time. No-one to free him from the shadow-chain. No-one to wake him up. No-one to destroy his darkness.
No-one to help him see the good.
