Chapter 11: Trouble

Ryou slowly opened his eyes and looked around. At first he didn't know where he was and almost panicked before he felt strong arms wrap around him. Looking behind him Ryou smiled when he saw Bakura fast asleep on the couch with him. Ryou slowly sat up and unwrapped Bakura's arms from around him so that Ryou was now able to stand up with out waking Bakura up.

Ryou looked around the room and tried to find what had woken him up. Something didn't feel right, Ryou wasn't used to it being this quite. Ryou closed his eyes and concentrated sensing where Malik and Yugi were. Ryou looked at the steps leading up stairs and went over to them. When he looked up them he saw both Malik and Yugi standing there both of them looking confused.

"Did you feel it to?" Ryou asked them as they came down the steps. They both nodded and looked over at Bakura who was still sleeping.

"Lets go talk about this out side, so we don't wake the hunter." Malik said, Yugi and Ryou nodded and went out side quickly. Suddenly all three of them felt it again; they couldn't tell what it was. But what ever it was it frightened Ryou and Yugi.

"Ma-Malik…what…what is that?" Yugi asked as he moved closer to the older vampire.

"I don't know Yugi, what ever it is…I don't like it." Malik said pulling both Yugi and Ryou closer. Ryou stared over at some trees, he saw someone standing there but he couldn't make out whom it was. The person looked familiar.

"Well, well, well. Three little vampires just sitting out here all alone." The person said and stepped out of the shadows. Ryou's eyes went wide as he recognized the person to be Tristan.

"Good to see you again little Ryou." Tristan said as he started walking towards them. "Tell me, were are my friends? Are they sleeping, or did you three kill them?" He asked stopping in front of the three vampires. Ryou started shaking and hid behind Malik. Malik glared at Tristan when he realized whom he had to bed.

"You're the hunter that hurt my friend." Malik snarled barring his teeth.

"If you are the friend of Ryou, then yes I hurt him. But with a resin, I needed information from him and he wouldn't give it willingly."

"What information would you want from Ryou?!" Yugi asked looking confused.

"Where to find the king of all vampires." Tristan said. "But he was not helpful at all." Tristan was now glaring at them.

"How the hell would Ryou know where to find the king of vampires?!" Malik shirked. "He has spent most of his life inside! And the one time in over 50 years he decides to come out, and you and your friends kidnapped him. Then you take him away from there and torture him for information he does not have!" Malik's eyes flashed red and he had to hold himself back from attacking Tristan.

"Well I don't need your help to find him any more. He found me, and I now work for him." Tristan smirked at them.

"You mean you're his slave. No one works for him willingly." Yugi said.

"I don't really care, I was sent here to get something…well three something's." Tristan smirked and reached out fast grabbing Yugi by the arm and pulling him away from Malik and Ryou.

"Yugi, no!" Malik said about ready to jump on Tristan.

"Wait, stay right where you are." Tristan said and pulled a knife out of his pocket holding it to Yugi's neck. "I know this wouldn't work if you were normal vampires, but from what I have heard children vampires are much weaker then normal ones." Tristan said pushing the knife closer to Yugi's neck cutting the skin a little.

"What do you want with him?!" Ryou asked looking out from behind Malik.

"Oh, it's not just him I want little one. I am here for you two as well." Before Ryou and Malik could do any thing two vampires jumped down from the roof and grabbed Ryou away from Malik and a third one grabbed Malik. Ryou screamed and tried to get away from them.

"No! Let me go!" Ryou screamed and did every thing he good to try and get away. He looked over to where Malik was also struggling to get away, but these vampires were much stronger then they were.

Bakura shot strait up on the couch and looked around, he could have sworn he heard someone scream. Looking down he realized Ryou was no longer on the couch with him. Bakura stood up and looked around the room. He looked at the steps when Yami and Marik came running down.

Seto and Joey came out of the room next to the living room. Yami raised an eyebrow at them but didn't ask why they were sharing a room when there was another bedroom upstairs.

"Did you guys hear that scream as well?" Joey asked as he pulled on his vest. They nodded, but before any one else could say any thing they heard another scream form outside.

"No! Let me go!"

"That's Ryou!" Bakura said as he ran to the door and swung it open just in time to see another vampire bite down on Ryou's neck. Ryou whimpered and struggled trying to get the vampire to let him go, but it was no use. The vampire was sucking out all of Ryou's strength.

"Ryou!" Malik called when he saw what was happening to his little friend. In one swift move Malik jerked his whole body so he was now facing the vampire that was holding him, and bit down on his neck. The vampire screamed and let Malik go, but Malik held onto him until he was done. When the vampires' body dropped Malik kicked it away. Yami and Seto had gone to help Yugi while Joey helped Bakura with the vampire attached to Ryou. Ryou had gone limp in the vampires grasp.

"Let him go, if you know what's good for you." Bakura snarled. The vampire just glared at him and held Ryou closer.

"I will do what my master wishes, and he wishes to see the last remaining children vampires."

"What do you mean 'the last remaining'?" Joey asked sounding confused.

"What do you think I mean? These three are the last of the children vampires, and King Pegasus would like to know how they survived so long." The vampire said and pulled Ryou a little closer making him whimper.

"Let him go!" Bakura yelled and went to punch the vampire, but he was to fast and Bakura stumbled forward a bit.

"And you call your self a hunter. A hunter wouldn't be so stupid." The vampire taunted. But what he didn't realize was that Bakura had done that on purpose knowing that the vampire would dodge right into where Malik was waiting. Malik latched himself onto the vampires back and wrapped his arms around his neck.

"Let my friend go now!" He hissed in the vampire's ear. The vampire slowly let Ryou drop to the ground with a small 'thud' Malik growled and grabbed the vampires head twisting it so he broke his neck, and then ripped it clear off his shoulders. The vampire's body fell limp next to where his head landed.

Marik stood there and watched all this, a small smile made its way on his lips when he realized he would have done the same thing if Bakura, Yami or any one of his friends where in danger like that.

All heads turned when they heard a scream of pain, they saw Yugi lying on the ground holding his arm, and Seto holding Tristan in an arm lock making sure he didn't get away. Yami knelt next to Yugi trying to get a good look at his arm.

"It's fine, really." Yugi said slowly taking his hand away. Yami watched as the wound closed up, not even leaving a scar.

"I knew vampires could heal quickly, but I didn't know it was that quick!" Yami said tracing a finger over where the cut had been.

"Not all vampires can heal that fast, some are just luckier then others. Like Ryou, it takes a while for him to heal when he gets hurt." Yugi said and looked over to where Ryou was still lying on the ground Malik kneeling next to him trying to wake the silver haired vampire up.

"Ryou!" Yugi gasped and scurried to his feet running over to his two friends.

Tristan smirked as he watched the two vampires trying to wake their friend. He glanced up on the roof and nodded when he saw Tea standing there with three vampires. Seto stared at Tristan then looked up at the roof where he saw the former hunter looking.

"Guys we have company!" he called over to the others. They all looked at him, then up at the roof. Yugi's eyes went wide.

"That's Tea!" He yelled pointing at the female vampire who smirked at him.

"I am so glad you remember me little Yugi." She chuckled and jumped down from the roof landing in front of Seto and Tristan.

"I would let him go, unless you like being food for vampires." She smirked.

"Seto! Behind you!" Joey yelled. But it was to late, two vampires attacked Seto from behind, making him let Tristan go so he could fight off the vampires. Tea nodded her approval and turned back to the others.

"Now if you know what is good for you, you and the others will come with me. And don't give me any trouble." She said stepping up to Yugi who was frozen where he stood. Tea ran a hand down Yugi's cheek. Yugi hit her hand away and backed up so he was standing next to Yami. Malik hissed at her.

"Now, now. Is that how you treat someone that Pegasus sent?" She asked stepping closer to them.

"Don't you even think about touching them." Bakura snarled. Tea looked up at him and raised an eyebrow.

"Why would a hunter care about a vampire? We are nothing but blood thirsty killers."

Ryou groaned softly and slowly opened his eyes, but they weren't the normal golden brown. They were blood red. He looked around trying to figure out what was going on.

"Looks like your little friend is awake, but he isn't looking to good." Tea laughed as Malik and the others looked down at Ryou.

"Ryou? Are you alright?" Bakura asked and went to help him up when Marik grabbed his hand away.

"Don't touch him Bakura!" Marik said holding his friend back.

"Why not?!" Bakura snapped glaring at Marik.

"Look at his eyes. That other vampire took to much blood from him, he would latch himself onto you and kill you before he realized what he was doing." Marik explained.

"Well, looks like someone dose their homework." Tea said smiling at them. She looked down at Ryou. "Ryou, come over here sweetie. I know where you can get plenty of food." She said. Ryou slowly turned his head to look at her, not really seeing any thing.

"That's it Ryou, come over here." Ryou slowly sat up before getting to his feet. He swayed on his feet as he started walking over to her.

"Ryou don't!" Yugi said grabbing his friend by the arm. Ryou turned his head sharply and hissed at Yugi pulling his arm free and stumbled over to Tea.

"That's a good boy. Master Pegasus would like to see you."

"Food…you said…"

"I know what I said. As soon as you see Master Pegasus I will get you food like I promised." She took Ryou's hand and started to lead him away.

"Let Ryou go!" Malik yelled and charged her but was stopped by her vampire henchmen.

"You can come to little vampire. That is probably the only way you are going to see you little friend again." One of them said. Malik was about to agree. But Marik grabbed his arm pulling him back.

"Don't you even think about it!" He snapped then leaned down whispering in his ear. "We will get him back, don't worry." Malik nodded and watched as Tea disappeared with Ryou.

"Ryou! No! Bring him back!" Yugi yelled and tried to run after them, but Yami wrapped his arms around the little vampires waist holding him there.

"Yugi, there is nothing we can do right now!" Yami said trying to hold him as Yugi struggled to get free.

"You don't even know where Pegasus is! So how are you going to get Ryou back!?!?" Yugi yelled at him finally braking free and running back into the cabin. Yami looked at Marik and Bakura.

"What are we going to do now?" Bakura asked.

"I don't know, we will think of something." Yami said as they all went inside.

Pegasus sat in his chair waiting for Tea and Tristan go get back, with at least one of those little vampires.

"Soon, they will all be mine." Pegasus chuckled.

Okay, I didn't really have time to type this up this morning, 1 because I forgot and 2 because I had to go to work so I was in a rush. So sorry if the last few parts seem rushed.

Okay, I am answering a couple questions.

One: I have started that fanfic where I chose people to be in it. But I am not going to post it until I can finish some of the fanfics I already have going. I need to finish all my fics before I post new ones; it is just getting to be to much work for me. With my new job and stuff.

Two: Sorry it is taking me so long to update new chapters, not just for this fic but all my others. Like I said before I have a new job, and that is sucking up a lot of my time. And then I am studying for school so there is another good chunk of my time. But I take Mondays and Wednesdays off so that is mostly likely when I will be updating. And most likely one to two fics a week. Well thank you all for sticking with me ^-^ and I hope to get more reviews ^_^
