Chapter 2
Seto ran to the Turtle Game Shop as fast as he could the next morning, with his trench coat flying behind himself and his brief case swinging in one hand. Usually he wouldn't be caught without a limo to drive him, but unluckily it had decided to break down this morning. Seto rung the bell to the back door of the small store and had Yugi answer it luckily. "Get dressed we're going to the hospital." Seto replied, wincing at how harsh he had just sounded.

"Hm? Wha- have you found a way to help Jou?" Yugi asked.

"Yeah, hurry up, we might not have much time, Yugi." Seto replied.

"Right, right," Yugi replied. "Come in while I get dressed, okay, then we can leave together."

Seto nodded walking into the hall, he hadn't been into this part of the shop before, and found it to be quite interesting. It was like anyother home might be, a normal home anyway. Except for the fact that as you went up the stairs you came to an area at the top where there was a cord hanging down. Yugi pulled on this letting down another set of stairs that led up to an attic room. "You can sit over there on the couch while I get ready." Yugi pointed.

Everything had an innocent touch to it, but it didn't help as Seto was in a hurry. He rechecked his calculations on the invention that he'd stayed up late finishing. He soon was satisfied they were correct as Yugi came out ready to go, he carried his bag with him as they headed to the hospital.
.....
As the two entered the room later they found Jounochi sitting in a chair with sort of a blank look in his eyes. "Hello, are you here to watch the sunrise too?" He asked.

"Um.... Yeah," Seto replied, worried. "You can see it a lot better if you wear this."

He held out the helmet for Jou to put on and took out the two belts. They would transfer Yugi and himself into Jounochi's mind faster than the pods could, plus it would transfer the soul with the mind so that it would hopefully be excepted better by another mind. "You ready, Yugi?" Seto asked.

"Yes, I'm ready." Yugi replied.

Seto turned the device on, and soon was hurtled into a vortex of darkness. When he next came to, Seto was standing in downtown Domino City. "Could I have miscalculated?" He wondered outloud to himself.

"Where am I?" Came a deep voice from behind Seto.

"Yami! How'd you get out of?" Yugi's voice was heard.

Seto turned to find two Yugis setting there together. "What the hell?!" Seto cried out.

"That's not a very nice thing to say to someone you just woke from an enjoyable nap." One Yugi replied, frowning.

"Yami, I can explain, this is Jou's mind, and we're here to try to save him from a virus." The other explained.

"There's two of...." Seto began.

"Only one Yugi, I'm just Yami, Yugi's darker half." Yami explained.

"You're the one who's always dueled me." Seto suddenly realized.

"Damn right I am!" Yami replied.

"Okay, so all of those times when we dueled, it was Yami. I think I get where this is going." Seto sighed, turning to go down the street.

That is before he had a gun like device stuck in his face. "I- I'm warning you v-v-virus I'll shoot if I hafta!" A quivering voice yelled at him.

Seto glanced down at the kid holding the gun and was mildly amused at finding a miniature Jounochi looking back at him. The kid had tear filled eyes as he glared at the much taller person. "I'm not a virus." Seto replied.

"W-w-what are you then?" The scared kid asked.

"I'm a- a.... Vaccine." Seto gave his excuse. "So are those two."

"You're here to get rid of the virus then?" Little Jou asked.

"Yes, we just have to know a few things." Yugi added.

"Well, you don't looked marked against the white blood cells..." He replied.

"What would happen if we aren't?" Yami asked.

"Then you would be absorbed by one eventually and be digested by them." Lil' Jou replied.

Seto, Yami and Yugi all looked at each other with concerned looks. "Don't worry, though the doctor can take care of that for you," Jou replied with a grin. "Dr. Jou! I need you!"

"Is that all you think it would take to get him to-" Seto stopped mid sentence as another Jounochi popped up out of the street.

"What is it kiddo?" The Doctor asked.

"These three vaccines need to be marked so they don't get hurt by the white blood cells." Lil' Jou replied.

"Okay, that's easy. Just hold as still as possible," Doctor Jou replied. "There, done."

Each looked at themselves and noticed nothing new except they had what looked like a tattoo on their wrists. "This is it?" Yugi asked.

"That's it, now if you'll excuse me, I have a couple flu germs trying to enter the body." Dr. Jou then dissappeared.

"Now what?" Seto asked.

"I can show you around the brain." Lil' Jou replied.

"Okay, you can show us." Yugi replied.

"Well, it's not as busy as usual, everyone else has been destroyed by the virus," He said looking upset for a while. "Anyway, there aren't many shops open anymore."

With that they walked up to one that had a huge closed sign on the front of it. "Hey, Seto, look at the name of this place." Yugi said, pointing up at the shop sign.

"Kaiba Electronics?" Seto replied.

"Look inside, you'll see why." Yami replied pointing through the dirty window.

Inside there were several television sets some still on and all showed Seto Kaiba glaring out. He could just make out what he was saying. "Quit whining just because your head hurts Mutt." The T.V. version of himself growled.

Seto tried hard not to let his shock be shown on his face. Yugi was peering into another window at some more televisions. "Look, these are from when he was really little." Yugi pointed.

"Childhood Melodies." Yami read.

There were plenty with Jounochi as a two year old tot just happy as could be. He was giggling in many of them, but as there came to be screens of later scenes it showed a mad man hitting him. Seto took that to be his Father. There was one that hurt to see. Seto guessed Jou to be about four, maybe five in the memory and his Mother was crying. Then, Jou coming in questionly as to why his Mom was crying. Seto sighed at how concerned Jounochi seemed as the child hugged onto his Mother tightly. "Come on, Seto, we have to get going if we want to figure out what's wrong before we go." Yugi said, gently tugging on his sleeve.

Seto glanced once more as the memory played on before leaving.
End Chapter: Next Chapter, Seto meets more Jounochis, and finds out more about the central system.
