The Descendent

Bells rang though out the castle as a sign that the boats arrived. My one friend died on these boats about 5 years ago. Sadly I have to leave luster and head to the Angus world. As princess I was one of the last to leave the planet. My mother as queen had to stay here and make sure that the soul seekers didn't take our whole planet. I cant stay because mine and my three lady's in waiting safety are more important to the planet then any thing else. This war has been going on for over six years.

“Are you okay” I turned to notice Rebecca staring at me. “Yeah Becky im just afraid to go near these boat ever since Rafael died.” “Oh its okay its not like anything is going to eat you” “the death eaters will” said Nikki. “Don't get her scared that's the last thing we need.” Whispered Alexia. She smiled then added “where are we going to stay?” “A town called domino” I said as we came close to the large ship waiting to take us to the Angus world.

But in some odd twisted way mother was standing there smiling at us as we came up. “Hello girls how are you?” “Great your highness” all of us answered at once. “Rebecca, Nikki, and alexia I hope that your journey will be safe but I need to talk to Amita for a moment. “Good Day ma'am” all three girls answered as they headed up to the boat. Now Amita mother said just loud enough so only I could hear her. Listen closely there is something I should have told you a long time ago.” “What?” She took a black box out of a barrel that a footman brought to her. She opened the lid to reveal 7 necklaces. “Now these are the seven major powers of the universe. Light, Fire, War, Water, Sky, Ice and of course Chaos. Chaos belongs to you my darling and light belongs to your friend Ryou.” She took the large clear crystal out of the box and put it on me. Once it touched my skin it turned black. Looking at my shocked expression she added “The only reason why it turned black was because you are the chosen one to control chaos. The rest of the necklaces will glow once you get close to a holder of one of the powers. Do you think you can handle all that?” “Yes mom I hope that I will find all of the powers” I hugged her not knowing that IT was the last time I was ever going to see her again.

Walking on to the ship I saw the first mate walk up to me. “Hello princess how are you?” “Smiling back I answered back “fine how are you?” “Wonderful” He smiled back at me which made me feel a little tense. “Whats a fine lady like you doing on a ship like this?” His smile got ever wider. Okay this was getting really freaky as I backed up he followed me. Then he started adding “you know the color yellow makes me go a little crazy, And I forgot to introduce my self my name is Weston” From behind me a could hear a mock “Weston” I turned to see a bird staring right back at me. “Shut up Melissa you're gonna scare the princess. The bird looked at me and started laughing. This was getting really really creepy now “Ah nice to meet you to I should be heading off.” “Good day mate” both of them answered I ran down the hall way till I came to the room that I was staying at.

“So Amita what was your mother talking to you about she was talking to you a long time?” She laid down on the bed on the opposite side of the room.

“I'll tell you later where is Becky?” “Nikki and her are sharing a room just around the corner”“I was told that dinner was at 6:00 so that gives us an hour to walk around. Oh and we should dress in gowns not Angus clothes because every one on deck will think were nuts.”“should I wear the red or the yellow one”“Red because becky is going to wear yellow and she'll kill you if you do.”Frowning she added “which one are you wearing” “my black and purple one. Rafael used to love that one.” “whats with you and Rafael. I mean he's dead and you still talk about him”

My answer was saved by a scream down the hall. Once we walked out the door becky came flying around the corner and almost ran right in to Alexia. But instead she come to a halt and hid behind me. And then we heard nikki screaming “take that back you little liar” “Nikki why are you yelling at becky?” “she said that I slept with our teacher” becky smiling said “its true he went in there late at night and didn't come out till the next morning.” “Becky you are such a liar, Shut up.” Standing between them I said “I guess that this a good time for me to tell you what mother told me.” And that's what I did.

That's not fair you have to pick 6 people to hold the 6 main powers of the universe and its not allowed to be us. Becky stared angrily at the ceiling and added. “I mean I have a lame power what sort of power is lightning any way?” “A very useful one we are going to need it every thing in the angus world is powered by electricity so we are going to need it.” “you mean like this boat.” “Yes” “What about mine?” Nikki asked “I don't know.” No, And at this point I don't want to hear anymore of this non sense. Besides dinner is in 15 minutes lets get dressed and go down stairs.”

Sitting down at large table we ate our dinner quietly and then headed back up to the room. The whole way there becky was smiling. And was still smiling once she sat on my bed. “Amita” she said “I have to tell you something that is very important” “Whats the matter Becky?” “well I didn't want to tell you this but since hes died I guess that this is a good time to.” She took a deep breathe and tried to keep a straight face. “Nikki slept with Rafael” “Th that cant be” I thought back right before he got the boat that was going to bring him to his death. He said “I'll always be faithful to you”. He kissed me on the cheek and walked on to the boat. *End of flash back*

“no I didn't why do have to be such a liar” I looked up just in time to see nikki lunge at becky. The Attack came to a sudden end when the rocked and spun. “Whats that” Becky screamed as the boat tilted downwards. The bad part was I didn't have an answer for her.

*Mean While*

“soo Rafael what are we doing on this island?” asked Volan as he stepped out of the helicopter. Rafael a tall very masculine blonde haired man with piercing blue eyes walked up the sandy beach to his friends. “I have a feeling that the events of the past are going to happen again.” “Like what?” Asked Alister taking off his sun glasses and looking at the ocean then adding “Are we here for are own doing or are we here for dartz?” “For are own doing” Alister a tall lean man with fire red hair looked at Rafael with his gray eyes as if in shock. “So what sort of thing is going on?” “I cant explain it” came his answer. “Like what?” he repeated as he sat down on the ground. “Like when the ship crashed over 5 years ago.” “You dragged us all the way out here just to see if a stupid boat is going to crash!” Valon yelled. His face looked like I was going to turn red. “I mean I could have better things to do today” Smirking Rafael said “you're the one that wanted to come along” walking down back to the ocean he kneeled right in front of it. He whispered “oceans don't betray me” And at that moment sparks came out of his fingers. Gasping he fell back in surprise. Alister and valon ran over to she what happened. The ocean waves came up and over the sparks. Once they retreated the sparks turned red. “Im guessing that's a bad thing” said alister in aw. “I think your right alister” Rafael stood up and went over to the sparks the minute he touched them they disappeared. “What the?” he whispered. The tide picked up and the waves started rolling in. “Rafael look” Rafael turned to alister and followed his out stretched finger. In the distance a boat was tossing and turning in the waves.

*back at the boat*

The light blinked out and everyone on the boat started screaming. “I have a bad feeling about this” I whispered. I could see Becky's outline get up and send electricity through the sockets. All of the lights came back on and the screaming stopped. “Come pack everything you need and head for the deck” I took a bag out of my truck and stuffed some clothes in it. At the top I fit in the black box mom gave me. Putting the strap of the bag over my shoulder and headed up the stairs. ON deck all three girls were standing a staring at this huge wave that was on a crash course for the boat. “Were gonna have to jump on the count of three.” Going up to the railing of the boat I yelled three. All of us fell into the icy black water. Blackness over came me and I lost conciseness.

*later*

The smell of smoke came over me as I opened my eyes. I saw nothing but black but kept trying. I heard a groan next to me which meant Becky rolled over or was waking up. Blinking my vision came back to me. Standing over me looked like in older version of Rafael. But I knew that couldn't be true because he was dead. I closed my eyes and tried to lift my head. “I wont do that if I were you your highness.” Your highness who would know to call me that? “Rest, you need it” A wave of dizziness came over me. So I put my head down and opened up my eyes. The same man was touching my fore head. His skin was rough. And in some odd way he kissed my lips. “Go to sleep your highness” My eyelids gave way and I thought of the subject no more.
