Welcome to Our Lives Part 1- Stop acting like that!

 

o-o A new fanfic! Just HAD to get these ideas out on erm…my virtual paper! ^_^

Stumbling, the new girl, Yukari Kumo, walked to school. She yawned. “Oh, I havn't gotten up this early since…Well, yesterday!” she said to herself in a low voice so others wouldn't hear. She sighed and checked her schedule. As she did so, she heard someone say something.

 

“Dude, there's this new girl in school! I overheard the principal talking to a buncha' teachers while I was waiting outside the door.” He said.

“Oh, dude! Don't you know eavesdropping is bad?!” another boy said.

“What they don't know can't hurt them!” the other boy snickered. “Anyway, I heard that she's real hot!” Yukari (o-o; -sweatdrop-) walked away quickly and shook her head.

“N-no! It's not me! I'm sure there's another new girl transferring. Yeah, that's right. Eheh…” Yukari said. She sighed as the bell rang. She glanced at her schedule. P.E. Her worst class ever. “Oh, no! At least I have it first period! So I can get it over with,” she said in a monotone voice. She rushed over to the changing room and changed into her PE uniform. It was a white T-shirt with 2 blue stripes going across the upper part of the shirt and the Domino High symbol in the corner. Pulling off her school uniform skirt, she slid on a pair of blue sweat shorts. (Yes, being very descriptive here!)

She walked out to the area where the other girls and boys were. She gave the teacher her slip and the teacher announced that Yukari was a new student and that someone should make here feel welcome here.

“Oh! No, it's alright! I can figure things out by myself, thank you!” Yukari waves her hands in front of her.

“No, no. I'll get someone to show you around. In fact, there's a boy here who has the exact same schedule as you!” the teacher told her.

“Oh, joy…” she mumbled to herself. The teacher pushed her across the blacktop. He was headed to a boy in a male PE uniform. He was sitting down, legs crossed, and was typing up something on a laptop. “Computer geek…” she mumbled. When they reached him, the boy glanced up sharply and went back to his laptop. Yukari: -__-*;

“Yukari, this is Seto Kaiba. I'm sure you'll make good friends.” The teacher grinned and shot a death glare at Seto for a split-second.

“Whatever,” Kaiba mumbled, still continuing his work. The teacher left Yukari and Kaiba. Yukari turned to face Kaiba.

“Okay, listen. I don't need you, so stay away from me. Got it?” she growled. Kaiba looked up, closed his laptop, and stood up. Yukari was surprised at how tall he was standing.

“Geez, the least a new girl could do would not to act like Wheeler-dog,” he sneered. “I'll have to trouble dealing with you. At least you're only in my PE class.”

“Uhm, about that…” she twiddled her thumbs. “I'm in all of your classes.” She smirked.

“Joy,” Kaiba growled at he reached into his bag to put in his laptop. “Just stop acting like you are right now.” He got up and walked away. He was cut short by the teacher. He glared at Kaiba and said something inaudible to Yukari. Kaiba slouched for a second and straightened up. He walked back to Yukari and sighed.

“Looks like I'm your tour guide for the day,” he said, arching an eyebrow. A growl escaped Yukari's throat as she was forced to walk with Kaiba everywhere.
