Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan Fiction ❯ What I Don't See ❯ What I Don't See ( One-Shot )
Destiny: Okay, this is a prequel to my poem What I See. This is a poem about Mokuba's thoughts before his suicide attempt. . .
Yeah, and obviously I don't own YGO. And you already know that, or else I wouldn't be writing this.
Behold, this poem, from Mokuba's POV. Hope you enjoy!

What I Don't See
~*~
Dear Brother,
I don't know who I am
Anymore.
I don't know who you are,
Either
You're not the person
I used to know
You're not the person
I respected
You're not the role model
I used to strive to follow.
-
-
You're not my brother.
-
-
I don't see
Your brilliant blue eyes
Flashing
With animation,
Enthusiasm,
Joy.
-
-
I don't see
Your waiting arms
The ones that reassured me
When I was scared.
Your arms no longer hold
The comfort that I seek.
-
-
I don't see
Your welcoming smile
The one that showed me
It was going to be okay.
I don't see
The heartfelt grin
The one that made my day
Bright and sunny.
-
-
What I see
Is dullness;
Lifeless blue eyes,
Blank stares.
I see an emotionless man
Staring at the screen
One that doesn't give a care
In the world
What the hell happens to me.
-
-
This man says he's my brother
But I proclaim it is not true.
That man is NOT my brother
If he were, he'd stop me from doing
What I'm about to do.
-
-
What does it matter?
I'm worth nothing to him.
I'm stupid.
I'm dumb.
-
-
-
I
Might
As
Well
Be
Gone. . .
-

Destiny: So? What do ya think? Can it use some improvement?? Please Review, and tell me what I can do to make it better!
Oh yeah, and read What I See if you want the sequel, from Seto's POV.
