**Oh Ra I guess Yugi's grandpa was right about Yami,** Kaiba thought to himself as he climbed out of bed. Once he got to Yami's room he opened the door.
There in the dark sat Yami crying out for his light, tears streaming down. "Yugiiii please come back."
"Aghhhh Yugi please I need you Aibou!"
Kaiba carefully sat on the bed next to Yami ready to say something to the former Pharaoh when Yami turned to him.
"P-leeeeze Seto seal my soul it hurts so much Seto," Yami cried out to Kaiba. "I know that you can, please use your millenium rod and seal my soul."
"It hurts so much Seto, I can't breathe I'm being ripped apart from the inside." "Please Seto I can't live without aibou."
"Y-Yami I can't do what you ask of me," Kaiba said as he took Yami in his arms. "Please Seto help me!"
All Kaiba could really do for Yami was hold him as he convulsed from crying. "Yami is this what the once great Pharaoh of Egypt has become, here" Kaiba said as he wiped Yami's tear stained face with his hankerchief. "Yugi would want you to live," Kaiba said as images of his ancient past filled his head **I will protect you My Pharaoh** **I said that I would protect My Pharaoh yet with all the money everything that I have I can't protect him from this** Kaiba thought to himself.
He then noticed the bruises on Yami's fingertips along with the what looks like scuffs on the millenium puzzle, it was obvious that Yami had tried to take it apart. ** I know that Yami can never take it apart especially after Shadi put a protective spell on it after Yugi left us, he must have realized how desperate Yami would become**..
kaiba desperately tried to consule Yami as the smaller duelist cried and begged him to use his millenium rod to seal his soul away to the point of making himself almost sick. "Seto it hurts P-leeeeze...." //Aibou!// Just then Mokuba walked into the room. "Seto, is Yami okay?" "Mokuba Yami is going to be just fine," Kaiba told his younger brother. "But I could hear Yami crying out for Yugi, are you sure that he's okay," Mokuba asked his brother as Yami continued to sob in Kaibas chest?
"I want to help out if I can, Seto." Kaiba thought about it for a moment he and Mokuba had been through a lot together there was no one he trusted more.
"Mokuba I need you to bring some Tylenol and water to give to Yami." "Hmmm and why don't you bring some mashed potatoes that's pretty light and Yami really needs to get some food in him." "Sure I'll be back in a bit, " Mokuba said as he ran out the door.
(15 minutes later Mokuba came back with the Tylenol and mashed potatoes)
"Thank you Mokuba, I'll take it from here, why don't you go watch some TV," Kaiba told his little brother. "Yami I hope that you start feeling better, "Mokuba said as he closed the door behind him. Kaiba then began pulling himself away from Yami. "No Seto don't leave me alone, "Yami cried tightening his grip on the former priest.
After a little bit of struggle Kaiba had managed to free himself from the Pharaohs grip. He then walked over to the table where the tylenol and food were, after pouring a glass of water he went back to where Yami was. "Yami I need you to take this, it'll make you feel better," Kaiba said as he handed the glass of water to Yami. //Aibou...// Realizing that Yami was still struggling within he pried Yami's mouth open and popped the pill in. He then put the water to Yami's lips. "Swallow Yami." After preventing Yami from spitting the Tylenol out Kaiba began to wipe the tears from Yamis face a slight smile forming from his lips as he recalled a conversation that he had with Yugi six months before Yugi's soul had been lost.
(Flashback)
"Yami can be so stubborn sometimes, he still refuses to take medicine." "He always switches with me, if anyone mentions the word medicine, or even vitamins."
"It's actually really cute if you think about it here he is a former Pharaoh of Egypt wielder of the three God Cards, and he cringes at the site of medicine."
(End Flashback)
"Yami I think your going to really like these, they have cheddar cheese, "Kaiba said as he brought a spoonful to Yami's lips.
Kaiba couldn't help but smile as Yami opened up his mouth ready for the next spoonful. **That's more like it** Kaiba thought to himself as Yami continued to devour the cheezy mashed potatoes. Once Yami had finished the bowl, Kaiba handed him some water. "I guess someone must have been really hungry, " Kaiba said as he took the empty bowl and placed it on the table. "Yami there's a toothbrush and toothpaste in the bathroom for you, why don't you freshen up," Kaiba told Yami as he pulled the covers off of him. Once Yami had finished, he climbed back into bed. "S-Seto will you stay with me till I fall asleep," Yami whispered. "Sure I can stay till you fall asleep." **Sleep well my Pharaoh** Kaiba thought as Yami closed his eyes.
