"Hi this is Otogi Dark Sanctuary doesn't own Yugioh or Hikaru No Go."

It had been exactly two weeks since Yami started his senior year at Domino High School. The 16.5 year old (ok he's technically 3016.5 in this fic I made it so that he'll be 17.5 when he graduates H.S) for all intense purposes was making it through his classes yet he struggled emotionally without his other half. This was going to be their senior year but now Yami was having to do it alone. His friends did their best to keep him cheered up but without his light he was just lost and now he'd have to make it through yet another day of school.

"Hi Yami are you ready for the quiz today," Hikaru asked as he took out his calculator. " I guess so Kaiba-san (Kaiba acts as Yami's Guardian when Solomon is away so Yami refers to Kaiba as Kaiba-san sometimes) helped me study for the quiz since he took Physics last year. "Well just relax and you'll do just fine," Hikaru said as he smiled at Yami. A few minutes later Trey,Mitch,Hideki and Hajime were seated behind Hikaru and Yami which happened to be their assigned seats. Once Trey was settled he leaned over and whispered in Yami's ear, " My afternoons are free now that I don't have detention anymore just thought I'd leave you with that thought." Trey then sat back in his seat waiting for class to begin.

"Good Morning class were going to work on a lab expirement and then we will take our quiz," Mrs Series said causing everyone to groan. "You can leave class as soon as your done with your quiz though," Mrs Series said getting a cheer from her classroom. "Now then open up your lab books to lab number two," Mrs Series said.

"Hey Yami it looks like were doing a lab on Velocity and Acceleration," Hikaru said as he opened up his lab book. Yami then opened his lab book in order to help Hikaru perform the lab experiment. "Yami you can be in charge of taking the initial velocity measurements of our five vehicles," Hikaru said as he handed Yami a stop watch. Noticing that Yami was staring at it, Hikaru spoke up, " Just press this button here to start it. this button here to stop it and both buttons at same time to reset the watch," Yami nodded then began recording the initial velocity of their five vehicles as they rent down the ramp. An hour later Hikaru and Yami had finished their experiment which included filling in the data sheet in their lab book and writing a brief summary of their results. They then walked over to Mrs Series to pick up their quiz. " Good luck Hikaru read all directions," Mrs Hikaru said smiling. Handing the quiz to Yami she said, " Take your time and read the directions you'll do fine." "Thank you Mrs.Series, " Yami said as he sat at his desk to take his quiz. **What the ^&&** Yami thought as Hikaru stood up and walked over to Mrs. Series to hand in his quiz. ( it took him less than 10 minutes to do a 15 question physics quiz). "Hikaru here's your out of class pass you can either go to the break room or library but don't be walking around in the halls ok," Mrs. Series said handing the pass to the teen who then walked out of the classroom. ** Here goes nothing** Yami thought as he began reading the quiz directions.
1. Put down your name, date and class period in the upper left corner.
2. Question Number 1. Skip to question 15. Yami then skipped down to question 15 and read the problem.
3. If your Initial Velocity is 5( meters per second ) and it took 5 seconds what is the final velocity of the moving object use acceleration = 9.81 ( meters per second squared). Once you've answered this question turn in your quiz.

Yami answered the question and preceeded to turn in his quiz when Trey tugged at his shirt. "Hey Yami give me a little help here, how did you answer fifteen questions so fast ." (Trey didn't bother to read the instructions) "Sorry I can't help you it's a quiz," Yami said before handing his quiz into Mrs. Series. Yami then walked out of the classroom and walked into the breakroom to find Otogi in there as well.

"Hey Yami how are your classes going today," Otogi asked? "They're going ok so far we had a quiz in Physics today, I don't remember if I had any quizzes when I was Pharaoh," Yami said. "Hmmm well I'm sure you did great," Otogi said as he typed on his notebook.


Meanwhile deep in an underground cavern somewhere in America an explorer wiped his brow with a cloth as he dusted off a portion of the caverns walls revealing what looked like some type of ancient text.
** I'm getting too old for this** the explorer thought to himself. He quickly snapped a few photographs of the images on the caverns wall and uploaded them onto his labtop. After writing a quick message he pressed the send button.
Seconds later another explorer joined him he too had found similiar ancient text in the adjouning cavern wall. "So what do you make of this Solomon?" " I don't know it's very similiar to Egyptian Hieroglyphic but it sorta looks like the Atlantis writing that you had discovered in the Atlantic," Solomon said. "Solomon what I can tell is that I'm going to have to look at this more further to determine it's true origin, it might not be related to Dartz at all." "Though what I can make out is that it mentions something about "Returning what was once taken away," Arthur said as he took a sip of water from his canteen. The two then made their way out of the cavern and into the awaiting Jeep just outside the caverns entrance...


Back in Domino City Yami quickly walked back to his locker to fetch his English book. After retrieving the book he closed the locker and redid the locks combination. He then turned to leave only to be slammed back into the locker.
"Hey Yami I probably failed the Physics quiz and you could of helped me if you really wanted too." Trey said as he pushed his body against him. "I...I'm going to be late for English class, please let me go Trey," Yami whimpered as he felt Trey's hands move underneath his shirt. "No I think your going to be late to English don't you think so Yami," Trey said twisting Yami's arm causing him to wince in pain. "Come on I know someplace where we won't be disturbed, " Trey whispered in Yami's ear causing him to shudder. ** I have to summon them but I'm frozen please someone anyone** Yami thought to himself as he felt himself being led away by Trey. " Now don't make a sound while we have to walk through the hall and don't say anything if we run into anyone you got that," Trey said as he twisted Yami's arm once again. Silently Yami walked to who knows where sniffling back tears that were starting to form, when suddenly...

"Hey you two why aren't you in class, the bell has already rang," Ms. Hinata said glancing at her two students. "Er um I was just taking Yami to the nurses office he hurt his arm in Gym class," Trey lied.
"Oh I see thank you Trey for your concern but I can take Yami to the nurses office," Ms. Hinata said knowing full well that she was being lied too. "Here take this note with you to your next class. you do have Biology right now correct," Ms.Hinata said handing the note too Trey? "Yes Ms. Hinata," Trey said as he gave Yami a menacing look before walking to his class. "Yami I think you should come with me," Ms. Hinata said. " But I have to hand in my homework and what about Jounouchi he's probably wondering why I'm not in English with him," Yami said as he wiped his eyes. "Don't worry I'll let Jounochi know that you've gone home." Once in her office she made a quick call to Kaiba explaining that he needed to come pick Yami up.

(An hour later)

"Sorry Yami-kun but I got here as soon as I could I had some very important business that had to get done right away, " Kaiba said as he took Yami's hand in his. In actuality Kaiba had just finished setting up the main Kaiba corp computer system to find all related information on the images that Solomon and Arthur had sent over. "Yami come on let's go home," Kaiba said as he opened the door. Once inside Kaiba's car Yami could no longer hold back his tears. Hating to see the former Pharaoh like this Kaiba tried his best to cheer him up. He then remembered that Yugi had said Yami was a stickler for icecream. "Yami it's still early and I don't have to go back to Kaiba corp for the rest of the day so let's go get some icecream." "Would you like to get some icecream, Yami? " "Okay." **sniff** Thirty minutes later Yami had his waffle cone of cookies n creme and peanut butter n chocolate in his hand sitting on the outside table of Baskin Robbins as Kaiba watched im amusement as the icecream dripped all over Yami's hand as he happily ate it.
