Yugi's POV
" I just blew up your grandfathers living room with him in it."
Did I hear that correctly? The look on Byakuya's face said that he meant it. I could feel the tears starting to form in my eyes.
I really should check on Yami's condition but my body won't move. Damn it get a hold of yourself Yugi, I tell myself as I hear my name being called.
"Yugi we need to get Yami warmed up and out of here," Kaiba yelled. I guess they didn't hear what I heard.
"Yugi did you hear me?"
"Ugh Puppy go see what's keeping him while I wrap Yami up, "Kaiba said as he pulled out an emergency blanket from his briefcase. Kaiba was prepared for almost anything really.
The minute I felt Jounouchi's hand on my back the tears started to fall like raindrops in the land of hidden rain (Naruto reference).
"Yug you don't have to be so upset, sure Yami is pretty bruised up but he's going to be alright," Jounouchi said rubbing Yugi's back.
"It's not that Jounouchi, Grandpa's dead he killed him."
"That's impossible he's been in a penalty game with Yami this whole time."
Just then Roland comes running through the door. How in the world he knew where to find us, I'll never know but the next thing I heard come out of his mouth only confirmed my worst fear well one of them at least.
"Master Kaiba thank heavens you're alright."
" I have terrible news, there was a huge explosion at the Motou residence."
"Roland what do you mean explosion?"
"The Guards didn't see or notice anything suspicious it just happened."
By that time Jounouchi had carried me over to where Kaiba and Roland were talking.
"Are Gramps and Professor Hawkins alright," I heard Jounouchi ask?
"Professor Hawkins received minor injuries compared to Dr. Motou a broken leg and some cuts and bruises."
"And what of Solomon, Roland?"
"I'm sorry to say but he received massive injuries, he took the full assault."
"Is he at the hospital?"
"No Master Kaiba he can't be moved."
"The nurse and Dr are trying to keep him comfortable but he doesn't have long."
Roland then turned towards me. "Yugi-san he's holding on in order to see you."
"We have to get to Gramps right away," Jounouchi said.
"Master Kaiba the choppers waiting for all of you?"
"Hey what about Marik and Bakura," Jounouchi asked?
"What about Us," the two said as they suddenly emerged from the shadow realm.
"Before you ask we should get out of here," Marik said.
It was then that I realized Yami was still lying motionless on the floor.
"Oh Ra I forgot about Yami," I screamed.
"Calm down Yugi, we need to get to the game shop right away," Kaiba said as he picked up Yami before running out the door towards the awaiting helicopter...
Time Skip Arriving At The Kame Game Shop:
Looking out the helicopter window I could see the damage and it wasn't pretty. Half of the entire shop had blown out, and from the looks of it most of it was our living quarters. I quickly took a few breathes as the helicopter made it's decent trying to mentally prepare myself for the worse. Once landed I kissed Yami's sleeping form before stepping out of the helicopter to see my grandpa for what was going to be the last time.
"Yugi we'll carry Yami in, just hurry over to Solomon," Kaiba said.
"Thank you Seto," I said before running through what used to be the front door.
"Grandpa are you there," I asked?
"Yugi he's right here I heard the familiar voice of Professor Hawkins say."
"Professor Hawkins are you ok?"
"Yugi I'm fine don't waste your concern on me your grandfather needs you," he said as the nurse helped him into a wheelchair.
It was then that I saw my grandfather. **Oh No!** A piece of wall had went through his midsection knocking him and pinning him to the floor.
"Grandpa I'm here it's me Yugi."
I turned to look at the Dr who was kneeling beside him, speaking before I could even ask the question.
"He's not in any pain Yugi,he can't feel anything right now."
"Grandpa everything will be alright, I'm here and everyone else is here too."
"Yugi I love you always know that."
"Grandpa?"
"Everything will be alright don't worry about anything okay."
"Grandpa I love you too!"

I barely heard everyone else come in, as I shared these last moments with my grandfather. Kaiba then sat Yami in front of Grandpa knowing that he needed to speak with him.
"Pharaoh my sweet young Pharaoh."
"Grandpa please don't waste your breath on me," I heard Yami whisper.
"It's all my fault this happened and I don't know what to do Grandpa."
"Yami it's not your fault remember that even when things get hard it's not your fault."
"You need to be brave and strong can you do that?"
"Yes Grandpa I'll try," I heard Yami squeak out.
It was as if Grandpa knew the truth, what I had yet to tell Yami.
"Someday but not soon we will meet again in the after life my Pharaoh."
"Grandpa please don't leave, Aibou needs you, I need you here."
" Thank you for everything, I love you Grandpa."
"I love you too Yami."
"He only has a couple minutes left," I heard the Dr say.
"Grandpa I love you so much, say hello to Mom and Grandma for me."
" I love you to Yugi," I heard Grandpa say before he closed his eyes for the last time.
"Hi this is Bakura."
"Please review."
