Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan Fiction ❯ Wolf-Boy ❯ Wolf-Boy ( Prologue )
Ryasha: Hello all! I know I should be working on Angelic Darkness, but I totally ran out of ideas for that. I do NOT know how to continue it. I figure I may get some ideas if I write this.
Mika: I don't think so. You'll most likely run out of ideas for this too.
Ryasha: ¬_¬ ……you know you're supposed to be my muse and you're supposed to encourage and inspire me to write.
Mika: So?
Ryasha: -_-' Whatever, let's just start the damn story. *grumbles about unhelpful muses*
Disclaimer: I. DO. NOT. OWN. YU-GI-OH. There. Clear enough for you?
Wolf-Boy
Prologue
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was dark and it was cold. Wind howled past the shadowed trees, moaning a haunting song. A full moon glowed icily high above.
Everything seemed incased in darkness, despite the moon. Leaves whispered in the winds. Then all the noises abruptly ceased, as if in wait for something.
Suddenly, a scream tore through the air. Several howls followed it. The voice screamed again, this time ending in a bone-chilling howl. Then, everything ceased. Silence reigned again.
Deep in the forests, a figure lay face down, unmoving. High above, a black raven cawed once, twice, three times. The child-like figure stirred and slowly raised its head. Vivid violet eyes glowed from the shadows of his face. The raven flew down and cawed three times again, circling above the boy several times before alighting beside him on the bloodied ground.
Violet met black.
They gazed at each other for several seconds before the raven gave a barely noticeable nod. It let out a triumphant cry before spreading its wings and climbing high into the air.
The boy watched it go with his bright violet eyes. He shifted his gaze to the moon when a ray of pale, ghost-like light fell on him. Crystalline tears trickled down his face as he closed his eyes. Suddenly, a ripple effect spread throughout his body as he let out another solemn howl. Sharp, white canines shone as the child's body began to change. His bones and organs rearranged themselves as fine, silvery white fur sprouted from his skin. In a matter of moments, in place of the boy was a young wolf pup. Violet eyes looked up at the moon again as a dark shadow moved to cover it. Sudden darkness covered the land, as the raven cawed once more. Purple eyes glistened once more before they too, finally faded out.
And so it begins.
Ryasha: Sooo, what'd you think? Creepy enough? I know it's really, REALLY short, but it's only the prologue. Review!
