to Tea[Flashbacks]
//Tea to Atemu//
Author's note:
There are eight Millenium Items ( I know....done a lot already ), but no one knows about the eighth. Just that it is somehow linked to the puzzle Pharaoh Atemu holds.
Atemu has his own body in this fic, but also still has his abilities including his mind link with Yugi and a strange link that seems to disappear off into someplace unknown.
The basic pairings will be Atemu/Tea. With a hint of Joey/Mai, and Marik/Serenity.
The characters you will likely hear the most from/about are: Tea, Atemu, Mai, and Serenity.
And the final note for now is that Tea has a deceased (dead) older sister named Teana who watches out for her. So when I mention a guide, or unknown voice leading her, it is Teana. I will explain more later on in the story.
Warnings: For now I can say that there will be blood and gore and possibly foul language. Other warnings may pop up in the future. There are also sexual scenes. Will contain spoilers, and lastly, this story is also rated for my perverted sense of humor.
((Start Fic...))
It was another typical day at college (all of my characters are about 18/19 except for Serenity who is 16) Joey, Tristan and Duke were in Advanced Mathematics, and Yugi and the Yamis were in Advanced Foreign History, learning about Egypt (of course!). The rest of the gang (including Serenity who jumped a grade) were in Computer Technologies, which was split into two groups. Guys in one class and girls in the class next to them. This was meant to help them concentrate on their work easier (uuuhhhh...it doesn't work....trust me).
The teacher was droning on about some obsolete (sp?) program and Tea was completely zoned out, daydreaming. She seemed to be getting into the bad habit of blocking everything out and remembering the gang's trip to Egypt almost two years ago, to help the Ancient Pharaoh regain his memories. They had faced so much danger, but there were also some good times. For one, Tea always laughed at the memory of Joey's face and his reaction when he found out the hard way that they were just spirits. For a good week after the trip, he'd jump at every little thing, convinced that there were ghosts out to get him.
Then again, much of the time Tea found herself daydreaming, her mind was focused on the final battle between Atemu and Zork. He was so weak when they found him. Lying nearly unconscious on the ground, and yet, with their help, he had been able to find out his name and call upon the strength needed to defeat the enemy. He had such a majestic air about him. So regal and strong. Yet when he looked at his friends, she could see the kindness and caring in his eyes. Now the former pharaoh had his own body, and yet he still managed to keep much of his royal bearing.
Tea couldn't help but smile at how proudly he stood, looking out over the scorched and broken battlefield. He looked so grim with a seemingly too serious frown marring his young, and handsome face. Yet she knew better. He had a strange habit of hiding his feelings from everyone. Keeping a wall up and trying to keep his friends at arm's length. But Tea knew...she knew that to see how he was truly feeling, one had to only look deep into his eyes. She looked at his grim face as he stood wondering how his once-grand city would handle the rebuilding, and though he looked so unhappy, she could see a sense of freedom lurking briefly in his glowing crimson eyes. Then she began blushing as she recalled how his entire well-toned body was coated in sweat and how it glistened in the setting sun. He was filthy from all the grime of battle, yet he never looked better.
That had taken place a little over two years ago. Once Atemu had gained his own body, due to a long and painful ceremony, it had taken a lot of effort to care for him and teach him everything about the world he now lived in. Tea paled a bit as she remembered what happened that day.
[Flashback]
Atemu and Yugi were dueling and everyone thought that Atenu was going to win. He had managed to play the god cards once already, and with both of them at 200 LP, he had used Monster Reborn to summon back Slifer the Sky Dragon, to his side of the field. Everyone thought that Yugi wouldn't be able to beat him again, but he'd had a surprise under his sleeve. He had a trap card on the field that let him play a magic card, and if it was the same one the Pharaoh played, then both cards would be negated. Atemu thought that he'd win this duel until Yugi's trap started glowing and he smiled showing that he too played a Monster Reborn, negating the effect of both cards and sending Slifer back into the graveyard.
This shocked everyone because they hadn't planned on that happening. Tea watched with a broken heart as Yugi struck the final blow, wiping out the last of Atemu's lifepoints and winning the duel. Atemu had accepted his defeat with grace and was standing in front of the doorway to the afterlife, and Tea could only watch with horror as he was ready to pass on. He was leaving them, or so they all thought.
There was a bright burst of light from the now open doorway and through it stepped his father. Everyone watched, shocked and confused, as the Pharaoh of Egypt walked up to his son and began speaking. "My son. You have done a great deal for our world and our people. You have completed all of your tasks so now, come and join me on the other side."And as the king turned to leave, Atemu began to follow. They had just made it to the door when the king turned back around and looked at his son with a secretive smile on his face. "Atemu. I can read everyone's hearts and know that truly, you have made a great impact in this time. I have had 5000 years to think about this and I have reached a decision. Normally, there are only two choices. One is to remain in this existence, trapped in the puzzle for another 5000 years, and the other to cross over. I have chosen to give you a third option."
Everyone was shocked at what he had said. A third option. Everyone looked around at each other confused. Everyone that is, but Tea. Her body had gone numb. She was hoping he could stay, but with everything that has happened in the last two days, she was too scared and hurt to dare to believe. She stood beside an oblivious Joey and tried not to cry.
The king turned back to Atemu after reading the reactions of all of his friends and said, "If you wish to stay with your friends, and live a life of your own, a ceremony must be done in our time to send your body to you. You will have to come through the doorway with me, but will also be able to return here through it after the ceremony. The choice is yours my son." And the pharaoh stood waiting at the doorway as Atemu turned to look at his friends.
It only took a moment for him to make up his mind. "I wish to stay with my friends. I wish to undergo this ceremony father." and he turned to walk up beside his father, and together they walked through the door to their own time.
Tea fell to her knees after seeing him disappear and just remained like that. Joey turned to her and tried to help her stand, but she couldn't. She didn't cry but stood there watching the still open doorway with blank eyes. This worried everyone, but before they could say or do anything, they clearly heard Atemu's pained scream from through the doorway. They all looked back to find the former pharaoh stagger through the door in his ancient body. His eyes were wide and full of pain and just as he crossed over into their world, he collapsed unconscious causing Tea to use the last of her strength to get up and run to him. Kneeling beside him, she gently took his limp head and cradled it. She looked him over for the source of his pain and found a deep gash on his chest, near his heart. She was worried but also confused because as she watched it, the wound healed right in front of her, leaving her holding an unconscious, but otherwise unhurt pharaoh.
[End Flashback]
Tea winced as she remembered the scar that wound had left. It wasn't a big one, but any time she had seen it, it reminded her of that day. Her eyes watered as she remembered that it took several days for him to regain enough strength to walk around and begin his lessons of the world he now lived in. It wasn't too much work because he had been living in Yugi's body and learned much about their world from that. Still computers were fun to watch him learn.
The computers were also the worst part though. He had gotten frustrated and thrown a few a cross the room or out the window, effectively smashing them and scaring passers by. Then there were times he actually sent some to the Shadow Realm! Tea had to laugh a bit at remembering his embarrassment when Yugi had gotten mad and told him why the machines wouldn't do what he ordered. That they weren't magical demons or anything. It was a really good thing Kaiba had for the most part, come around and was actually friends with them. He'd offered to pay for replacing them each time. Needless to say, Atemu was so deeply grateful for all of his friends sticking with him through everything.
**Friends...** Tea let out a deep yet silent sigh at that thought. He was still so close to all of his friends. In fact, everyone had become practically family since the final duel between Yugi and Atemu. It helped when Mai and Joey had started dating only a week after everyone had returned to Japan, and Serenity and Marik had started dating shortly after, even with the griping of her older brother. It seemed that everyone was hooking up and being happy. Tea tried so hard to be happy for them, but felt like the odd girl out. She had someone to love, but she didn't know how he felt about her. It seemed that he only saw her as a friend and nothing more. She spent most of her time hiding her bleeding heart from prying eyes, behind a false smile. Of course her two closest friends Mai and Serenity knew all about it, but nothing they could say or do helped. And now with these strange dreams and her seemingly sudden habit of sleepwalking out to the middle of nowhere, she was really confused.
She had been lucky not to get hurt so far. She remembered waking up in the park, or in the woods by a stream. It was only a matter of time before she did get hurt. Yet, she hadn't told anyone about these dreams. She didn't want her friends thinking she was weird or worrying about her. After waking up, she often remembered seeing what looked like a deep hole in the ground with fire. And when she asked herself what the hell was going on, she often heard the words "Silent Hill" and "home" echo in her head and felt a strange urge leading her to want to go there.
Again Tea sighed and forced herself to focus on the work in front of her. She couldn't afford to daydream at a time like this. She had to focus. Her grades were already starting to slip a bit from her lack of attention.
~Across the room~
Mai, who had noticed the look of sadness on Tea's face, decided that she and Serenity HAD to do something to try and cheer her up. When she had first met the girl, she had thought of Tea as nothing more than a prissy cheerleader, but as she spent time with her, she had learned just how strong she really was and felt proud to see her as a friend. The same went for the entire gang. At first she didn't think much of them, but once she had learned all about them, her opinion had drastically changed. And when it came to Serenity, she saw her as a little sister. She knew she had to do something to help Tea. Anything. So she turned to Serenity and decided to see if she had noticed anything strange about the normally perky girl.
"Serenity hun, have you noticed how depressed and tired Tea has been lately? Mai asked as she saw Serenity sneak a quick glance at the obviously oblivious (try saying that three times fast...LOL) girl.
Serenity's amber eyes briefly darkened a bit as she noticed her friend, and let out a small, worried sigh. "Yes Mai. I have a feeling she's thinking about 'him' again" she replied quietly.
Mai nodded her head in agreement as she knew who 'he' was and that it was likely him who was causing the sweet girl such pain. She was head over heels for Atemu. Anyone who kept their eyes out could easily spot the signs, but it seemed the guys were completely oblivious. Atemu seemed to worry about Tea as well, but often accepted any excuse she would give him without a second thought. He was completely oblivious. "What can we do? We have to get her out and try to cheer her up, but how? The girl's GOT to get her mind of Atemu."
Serenity could only shake her head in uncertainty. She had no idea. They ended up spending the rest of the class deciding what they would do and how to get Tea to go along with it. By the time the bell rang for lunch, They had formed a seemingly simple yet effective plan.
(I won't be going through the entire school day. just bits and pieces here and there.)
~In the Cafeteria, with the boys~
All the guys had gathered at a table and sat waiting for the girls and talking about their day so far. Everyone was either eating or staring at the huge lunches that Joey and Tristan had brought. They ate enough to feed an army for a week. Only Atemu seemed to be somewhat distracted at this time. He was looking all around the cafeteria, looking for the elusive girls. Well mainly for ONE girl. He was looking for Tea.
You see, Atemu had realized that he had feelings for Tea. He loved spending all his time with her. After the final battle between himself and Yugi, on the plane ride back to Japan, he had realized that his feelings for her had started when they had gone on that 'date'. When she had taken him to the museum and helped him to learn a bit about his past. He knew that he loved her, but was terrified to tell her because he was afraid she'd reject him and that he would ruin their friendship. He didn't think he could live without her in his life.
He was also worried about her. She seemed distracted lately. Sometimes zoning out for seemingly no reason. And when he looked at her, he could often see a look of confusion and fear in her eyes. He had asked her about it of course, but every time, she just replied with some obviously fake excuse. He knew she was lying to him and it hurt him, but he vowed to stay by her side as long as she needed him.
As he looked around the room, scanning carefully so as to not miss them, he noticed that none of them seemed to be there and they should have. He began to get a bit worried. The girls were never late. In fact, they were usually already at the table by the time the guys all got there.
Yugi looked over to the former pharaoh in confusion. He had sensed the concern through the link and wondered what would have Atemu so worried. /Atemu. What's wrong? I can feel your concern. Do you sense something?/
Atemu had jumped slightly when Yugi's voice had suddenly appeared in his head. They barely ever used their mind link anymore, so he wasn't really expecting it. He slowly turned to look into Yugi's concerned violet orbs, and just contemplated his answer for a bit. Then he decided to just be blunt as Yugi knew how he felt about Tea. Shouldn't the girls be here by now? They are late and they're never late. I am worried.
Yugi would have laughed if he hadn't felt just how serious and truly concerned his Yami was. He knew how the former pharaoh felt about Tea and he was always worrying over her. But he just returned Atemu's worried look with a calmer, but still concerned one. /I'm sure they're fine. I noticed Mai and Serenity talking quietly as they walked to Tea's locker. They probably just needed some time to talk alone./ Yugi was sure nothing was wrong, but he didn't like seeing Atemu so worried. The Ancient King was now his older brother due to the ceremony and he wanted his brother to be happy.
I suppose you could be right. I am still a bit worried, but I will try to be calmer about it.Atemu shrugged. He wasn't so sure everything was fine, but knew that Yugi was probably right and that the girls were probably somewhere chatting.
~Outside in the school yard, under a Cherryblossom tree~
As soon as Mai and Serenity had found Tea, waiting for them by her locker with her lunch in hand, they had dragged her outside and sat her down under the tree. Then they got to talking.
"Ok girl. I know something's up. You look completely exhausted and you keep zoning out. Wanna fill us in?" Mai immediately inquired. She knew something was wrong and was intent on finding out what it was.
Tea just looked slowly at Mai. She was so tired. She could barely keep her eyes open, but she fought and decided to try to answer her. She was too tired to care about the dreams being secret. Besides she knew Mai well enoough to know she wouldn't be left alone until she told them.
"Mai...I am just so tired. Lately I've been having these aweful nightmares and they usually wake me up at like four in the morning and then I'm too frightened to go back to sleep." She then looked into their confused and concerned faces and began to tell them everything. By the time she was done, they looked as confused and scared as she felt.
Serenity felt that with everything Tea had told her. These couldn't JUST be dreams. "Tea. What do you think this means? I mean, this whole thing sounds like more than just dreams."
Tea sighed and looked over to her younger friend. "I have to go to Silent Hill. Something is telling me to go there. I have a feeling so many answers will wait me there. I've decided I'm going to go on Friday. After school of course." And Tea smiled at her friends' shocked looks.
Mai didn't think that Tea would suggest something like THIS! "Are you serious girl? Do you even know anything about this Silent Hill place? I mean, is it even safe? And why didn't you tell us sooner?!" Mai was a bit angry that Tea hadn't invited them along with her.
Tea just sighed. "I did a bit of research and it seems Silent Hill has been a ghost town for the last 45 years (yes...for those who have seen the movie, I changed that part) after a massive fire killed most of the people. They say that half of the bodies were never even found. I have the feeling more is going on there than anyone even knows, but I HAVE to go. I didn't tell you because I didn't want you guys to worry." She looked at her friends pleadingly. "I can handle it. I'm sure I can."
Mai just shook her head in disbelief. SHE could handle it? What? Did she actually think they'd let her go alone? "Tea, you don't actually think your going alone do you? I'm going too whether you like it or not. I don't like the sound of this place and I'm NOT letting you go alone girl!"
Serenity nodded her head in agreement. "Yeah. I feel the same way. I do't like it either and I'm going too. I won't let you go alone. Maybe we should even tell the guys about it. I mean there's safety in numbers. We could all go together and I'm sure that with the Millenium items there, we'll be even safer."
Tea's head shot around to look at her when she made that comment. She didn't really want anyone to go with her, but she could accept these two. The guys on the other hand were a different story. She didn't want them to know at all. "Please you guys. I'll accept you coming along but I really don't want the guys to know. Please don't tell them." She looked pleadingly from one girl to the other. Her watering, big blue eyes begging with them to keep it a secret, as she fought to keep from crying.
Serenity and Mai looked at each other and decided that for now they would humor her.
Mai looked back at Tea and said "Alright hun. For now we agree not to say anything, but if anything bad happens before Friday, I AM going to tell Atemu. I think you should consider telling him at least. With the power of his Millenium puzzle, I think he could be a lot of help. But I'll leave that up to you for now." She looked sternly at the exhausted girl and repeated "For now." And Serenity just nodded in agreement.
Tea looked sadly at the girls. She knew they hadn't mentioned him to hurt her but because they knew that he COULD help. She slowly looked at the ground and agreed. She would consider it.
Serenity was going to say more, but the sound of the guys' voices stopped her. She turned to look and they were heading for them and looked they confused. She sighed and knew that they'd have to make up some plausable excuse to satisfy the guys' curiosity as to why they weren't in the cafeteria.
So everyone gathered and began talking, with Mai and Serenity casting the odd look in Tea's direction. No one seemed to notice, but one actually did. Atemu noticed them giving confused and concerned glances at the pale teen beside him. He too gave her the odd glance but it seemed she was avoiding looking at anyone.
They all sat talking about random stuff until the bell rang and everyone headed back in to their classes.
~Later that evening, in the park~
The girls were sitting on a bench by a huge cliff (yes I put a cliff in the park...it'll fit in with my story), watching the sunset. They had spent a busy day of going to the arcade and shopping. Everyone had gone home to drop off their stuff and now they had met again to relax before heading home. Serenity and Mai were trying to talk to Tea about Silent Hill, but she would barely answer them. It seemed she was zoning out, but not like usual. It almost seemed as though she was going into some sort of trance when she was actually hyper and cheerful only moments before. They were worried but figured she was just tired. If only they knew.
They had sat a little ways away on the ground as Tea lay on the bench seemingly asleep. They were just talking about what they could expect in Silent Hill when they heard a familiar deep voice calling out to them. They both turned to see Atemu walking up and they placed a finger over their mouths to say that he needed to be quieter. Then they pointed over to the girl still laying on the bench.
Atemu noticed Tea sleeping and couldn't help but smile a bit and not a smirk, but a real smile. She looked so innocent and peaceful when she was asleep. It almost made him want to take her in his arms and hold her. He then looked back to the girls who had gotten up and were walking over to him. They all began talking about todays events. The girls were obviously avoiding something. Hiding something from him. He didn't know what, but was now more worried than ever.
Unnoticed by the trio, Tea had moved into a sitting position with her eyes open a crack. To most people it would look like she was just waking up, but upon closer inspection, anyone would see that her eyes were slightly rolled back in her head and she was quietly humming an unusual tune under her breath. The others didn't even notice because by now, Atemu had gotten fed up with the secret and was demanding that the girls tell him the truth. They however, just responded by telling him that they had promised Tea they wouldn't. This made him growl in frustration, but he wouldn't push it any farther. In truth he was hurt that she would tell them and not him, but he had to accept that. She only saw him as a friend whereas she saw them as sisters.
Everyone's attention was grabbed when the snap of a twig broke through the akward (sp?) silence that had fallen on the now dark park. The trio looked over to the bench to notice Tea walking unsteadily away from it and towards the edge of the cliff. They worried when she seemed to sway a bit and ran up to her. They tried to call out to her but got no answer and this only served to feed their worries. Atemu walked to stand right beside her and noticed her humming an unknown melody. He looked into her eyes and got worried when he saw that she seemed to be in some sort of trance. Her eyes were open a crack but as he looked closely, he could see that they were rolling back like she was about to collapse.
They all continued to watch her and stay within arms reach of her as they followed her to the edge of the cliff. There she stood for a few minutes, seemingly looking out over the water below. What they couldn't see was the big hole in the ground that looked like a meteor had crashed and left a good two mile deep impact crater. And at the bottom of the hole was a massive fire looking to reach out and kill anything it could get with it's tendrils. It was what she was seeing from her dream. When Atemu looked away from the water and back towards Tea, he was terrified when he saw her spread her hands at her sides and lean forward. He reached out and grabbed her as she fell forward, his momentum carrying them both so that she landed on the ground at the edge of the cliff with him landing on top of her. He tried talking to her as he got up off her but continued to hold her firmly on the ground, but it seemed she couldn't hear him. She was thrashing around with her eyes now completely closed, fighting him and screaming "HOME! I HAVE TO GO HOME!", and when he said he'd take her home, she screamed out "Silent Hill! SILENT HILL!!" and thrashed some more. Then she quieted down and fell into a real sleep, breathing heavily. Her chest heaving with the effort to get some air back into her straining lungs, and her hands falling once again limp at her sides.
Atemu angrily turned to look at the shocked and terrified girls and angrily spat out, "I want to know what the HELL in going on!..." and when they just looked at each other and didn't say anything he screamed out, "NOW!!!" He was scared, but at the moment more angry that the girls would be keeping a secret at a time like this. Needless to say, both girls jumped a good foot in the air and Mai stepped forward. She was the only one of the two that could face him in his anger.
"Listen hun. We promised we wouldn't tell...but we made one condition. If anything bad happened, the promise wouldn't be in effect anymore. This isn't what we had in mind. We didn't think anything like this would happen. Serenity and I both agree that this is something really bad, so here goes..." and Mai proceeded to tell the furious pharaoh what had been happening. As she did so, she could see the deep concern in his wide crimson eyes as he listened intently, but snuck the odd glance at the now peacefully sleeping girl on the ground, almost completely still in his arms.
When they had finished the story and even told them of their plans to go to Silent Hill, he sat and glared at them for a good ten minutes before he said anything. "....I have many things to say to you right now..." He then closed his burning eyes and took a deep breath, letting it out as a deep sigh, and picked up the sleeping girl from the ground. Obviously trying to keep his anger under control. He couldn't believe they would keep a secret that was possibly so dangerous to her health, but had to respect that they didn't want to betray her trust by telling anyone. "But I know you were only trying to help her and for that I am grateful. But now that I know, I AM going with you. I won't tell anyone else, but I won't allow the three of you to go alone. As you and Serenity told me earlier Mai, I sense something more to the 'dreams' that Tea has been having and I think its best to have the holder of at least one item go with you." He couldn't tell them that he was mainly going because he was worried sick about Tea and didn't want anything to happen to her. "Tomorrow at school, I will tell Tea everything I know and I won't let her talk me out of this. I am going...one way or another." Sighing he turned to Serenity, the most innocent out of the group and said "But you Serenity....you should stay. And if you insist on going, you MUST tell your brother!"
The girls could only agree silently as they had already told him that they had brought it up to her that she should tell him. Now he knew and he was going to help. They felt better, but still worried. They spoke of their plans and everyone agreed to take Mai's car and bring only the essentials. A cell phone each, a flashlight and a map of the area. Then they took Tea home and everyone left to go get some sleep for shool the next day.
~the next morning at Six am~
As Tea woke up feeling strangely refreshed, she looked around her to realize she was back in her room. **How'd I get here?** The last thing she could remember was being at the park with Serenity and Mai and then laying on the bench for a while. **What happened? Did I fall asleep? How did they bring me home? Why didn't I wake up?** Then it hit her. Memories suddenly came rushing back into her mind. She remembered walking to the edge of the big hole in the ground and attempting to jump in when a heavy weight hit her and knocked her down. She then recalled screaming 'Silent Hill' again. **Oh boy...I think I'm going to have some explaining to do when I get to school.** She then glanced at her alarm clock and saw that it was six. Tea felt that since she was going to end up unable to get back to sleep, she'd get up and get ready.
Once Tea had gotten ready, she headed downstairs to the kitchen and was surprised to see her mom there. She had come to visit Tea, but had a habit of sleeping in, in the morning. So she grabbed a glass and the carton of milk from the fridge, poured herself a glass, and went to sit next to her.
"Morning mom. Your up early today." She chirped with a smile. She was in a good mood this morning despite whatever happened last night. She couldn't explain it. Maybe it was because she knew she'd soon have the answers she needed.
Trinity Gardner (just made it up) looked at her daughter and slid a small golden box towards her. She looked into Tea's surprised and confused blue eyes and with a big smile on her face, said "Happy belated graduation. I wanted to get you something before, but didn't see anything that would suite you. Then yesterday, while I was out shopping, I saw this on display in an Egyptian Antique store."
Tea looked down at the box and slowly pulled it over to her. When she just sat there trying to figure out what could be in it, her mother laughed in amusement. "Well dear, aren't you going to open it?"
Tea shook her head to clear her thoughts, and reached out to firmly grasp the box and slowly open it. What met her eyes was a thing like she had never imagined.
Her mother looked into her awe filled eyes and smiled inwardly, happy that her daughter liked it. "I got it for you because it reminded me of your friend Yugi's necklace that he always wears. I know how close you are to him. That you see him almost like a brother, and thought this would be perfect."
Tea looked up at her mother and could only stammer a thank you. The necklace did indeed look familiar. It looked exactly like a smaller replica of the Millenium puzzle. I was about the size of a golf ball, but otherwise, it was detailed to look exactly like it's counter part. It even had the Eye of Ra on it. She knew that there were eight items, but that seven of them belonged to her friends and looked nothing like this, and the eighth was thought to be lost.
**It must just be a replica.** Tea thought. So she dismissed any worry, and put it on around her neck, not noticing the slight glow it gave off. The cord was a very think golden rope that would be impossible to break. As she adjusted it around her neck, Tea was sure she felt a light tugging sensation. Almost like another presence (and no people....not another spirit...at least not yet) was in her mind. **What the...?** Tea shook it off, looked at the kitchen clock and realized that her's was about an hour behind. She had to finish getting ready and get to school. She she got up, slipping the pendant under her school blouse, hugged her mom with another big 'thank you', and ran out of the house.
~At school about twenty minutes before class starts~
Tea sat down in her desk with a sigh. She had done everything she could to avoid the guys. Mai and Serenity had met up with her halfway to school, and had told her of the previous night's events. Now Atemu knew and she was afraid to face him at the moment, so she had made every effort possible to avoid them all. Now she and her closest friends were in their class and had some time to talk. She would ask them what to do.
In fact, she was just about to get up and go over to ther desks when she felt that tugging again. she felt a sense of worry and sadness, but had no idea where it came from. She was worried and sad, but not this strongly. It felt like those emotions hadn't even come from her. Just as she was going to focus on it, it disappeared at the tugging stopped. Tea was really confused now. She had no idea what was going on. She decided to figure it out later and just go talk to Mai and Serenity.
By the time the bell rang signaling lunch, the girls had gotten Tea to agree to meet Atemu outside by the Cherryblossom tree. It was a hell of a fight, but eventually, she had to admit that they had a point and agreed to it. They had made her promise to wait for him and tell him everything about those dreams. Then they left.
As Tea sat under the tree, she felt the pulling sensation but this time it was fainter, and as she concentrated on it, she felt confusion and worry, only stronger this time. Then she heard words. Tea? She should be here by now....oh there's Mai and Serenity...but...where's Tea?and Tea gasped, releasing her unconscious hold on her necklace as she realized that she was hearing Atemu's thoughts. **Wait...why would he be worried about me?** she thought in confusion. **And how can I hear him?......oh no.....I bet it's the necklace my mom got me...what if it IS the eighth item?** As Tea sat under the tree, lost in panicked thoughts, she didn't realize that a similar situation was happenind to Atemu in the cafeteria.
~In the cafeteria~
Mai and Serenity had just entered the cafeteria and were looking for the boys.
Atemu was wondering where Tea could be when he felt an unknown presence in his mind. It wasn't Yugi. Even with how little they use their link, Yugi's presence would always be familiar. This one was slightly familiar, but he couldn't place it. So he narrowed his eyes in concentration and felt fear, sadness, lonliness, and confusion. He focused even more and could hear the thought //Wait...why would he be worried about me? And how can I hear him...oh no...I bet it's the necklace my mom got me.....what if it IS the eighth item?// Atemu's eyes widened alomst impossibly wide as the train of thought was cut off. **Eighth Millenium item? she can hear me? What's going on here?** Atemu didn't have to question WHO it was because the voice that spoke those thoughts in his head, was all too familiar now. It had been Tea.
The former pharaoh would have contemplated it even more, but was snapped out of his thoughts with Mai and Serenity walked over to their table and Mai whispered in his ear. "Tea wants to talk to you. She is outside under the same tree." She then sat down next to her boyfriend and gave Joey a quick peck on the lips and a smile dripping with sweetness and love. Serenity nodded at him in a serious manner, then took her seat next to Marik and also gave him a chaste kiss, ignoring her brother's glare. No one said anything cause everyone was used to it by now. Joey still complained but in truth, he had come to accept how happy they were. Still he liked to bug them every once in a while.
Atemu nodded at the two girls and with a quick excuse to everyone else, had beat a hasty retreat out to the tree.
~back under the Cherryblossom tree~
Tea had managed to calm her thoughts because she realized that if she could hear him, chances were, he could hear her (too bad she didn't think of that earlier hmmm?). She felt she had better ask him about the eighth item. She had to know if she had it. She had millions of questions running through her head, but thanks to her curious nature years ago, she'd asked Yugi how he blocked the spirit of the puzzle from reading his thoughts. Now she knew how to do it as well. As she sat thinking on everything that has happened this past few weeks, she felt the tugging again in her head and looked up surprised to see Atemu looking down at her in confusion and what seemed to be a knowing look. Trying to fight the blush threatening to grow, she realized something. **oh boy....I think he already knows.** She thought chagrinned.
Atemu gently smiled a bit as he sat next to her. He sensed a familiar energy from her and realized that she indeed had a Millenium item. His suspicions were right. But none of the items allowed anyone into his head to hear his thoughts but the Millenium key, and Shadi had that. So what item did she have?
Tea looked shyly at Atemu's burning gaze and had to ask. "You know don't you?" When he looked slightly surprised and confused, she continued. "That I have an item. I just got it today. My mom bought it for me from an Egyptian Antique store." And the pulled out the necklace to show him.
The former pharaoh knew nothing about the eighth item, but when Tea brought out what appeared to be a miniature version of his puzzle, he knew that this was it. The one that supposedly held a link to the puzzle. And it was true. When Atemu focused, he felt that the link that before disappeared into nothingness, now disappeared into that item. Strangely he felt complete. He looked back up into Tea's confused eyes, he knew that the final item had been found at last, and somehow he was really glad it was Tea. "Yes. Now I know. I heard your thoughts before but didn't understand how." When she blushed and looked away at his comment, he mentally cursed himself for likely embarrassing the girl. "It seems that you hold the eighth item. Well, I am relieved. It has fallen into good hands and I believe that the link will come in handy when we go to Silent Hill."
THAT got Tea's attention. She knew that he was coming and was secrely glad for it, but was still unsure of what to say or do. "Yeah. Mai and Serenity had told me that they told you everything. I guess that there's nothing I can do to talk you out of this huh?" When he shook his head 'no', she swallowed the lump that had suddenly appeared in her throat and was glad for learning how to block the link. "Alright. I'm sure they already told you, but we're leaving Friday after school."
"Yes." Atemu replied. "I'll walk you home and wait with you until Mai and Serenity come to pick us up. I still don't like the fact that they are going. Joey would have a heart attack if he knew his sister was going someplace possibly very dangerous, and Marik would insist on going as well if he knew, but I will do everything in my power to protect the three of you. And as I stated before, that item will help." He then looked up into her eyes and asked the one question she was afraid he'd ask. "Why didn't you tell me about this before?"
Tea sighed and knew she had to answer him. There was no sense in lying or delaying answering him now. "I...just didn't want anyone to worry. I figured if I went to Silent Hill and found the answers and this all stopped, then no one would have to know. I knew that if anyone knew they would worry. You....know how I am." Then Tea blushed at the thought of her and him being alone in her house, and indeed they would be, because her mom was going home Thursday evening. She unconsciously clutched at the necklace and even with her block in place, she could feel the concern, and another emotion she could not name. A warm and comforting one.
So they sat outside for the rest of lunch and finalized their plans.
~Friday after school, when Mai and Serenity came to get Atemu and Tea from her place.~
The two girls had arrived late and explained that Serenity had told her brother and had to lock him in the kitchen with a lot of baked goods she had bought earlier to be able to get out. He insisted that if she went he would go too, but she felt that it was a bad idea. She also told them that she had told Marik and he almost flipped when he found out. But at least she had been able to calm him down and get him to listen to her.
Everyone packed a change of clothes and threw their bags in the trunk. They each had a cell phone, flashlight and miniature map of the town on them.
Atemu was dressed in his customary black leather pants with all the buckles, and yes, even the neck buckle. He had a dark grey muscle shirt on with the Millenium puzzle hanging around his neck and a silver cell phone hung at his hip along with his duel deck (*drools*...now that's a yummy image!...^____^).
Tea was wearing a knee length grey, pleated skirt with knee high black, thick-heeled boots, and a beige (sp?) spagetti strap t-shirt. She also has on a black trench coat that hung to her knees. She carried her Millenium pendant (as they learned it was called) under her shirt, even though everyone now knew of it. It didn't take long for her to tell the girls and everyone ended up learning about it. Much of the time she kept her end of the link blocked and she still felt the hurt from Atemu when she did that, but she couldn't open up to him. If she did, he'd know. He'd know she loved him. A black cellphone finished the look, on a silver cord around her neck.
Mai was wearing her customary white boustier (sp?) with the purple overcoat, and the usual purple miniskirt. Her purple knee-high, thick-heeled boots and purple cellphone finished off the look for her.
Serenity wore a pair of dark blue jeans over a pair of black sneakers. She had on a red haulter top with a black fleece jacket over it. Her red cellphone sitting in the inside breast pocket.
Once everyone was packed up, Mai jumped in the driver seat and Serenity in the passenger seat. That left the back seat for Atemu and Tea. Seeing this, Tea gave a quick and not TOO serious glare at her friends. Then she hopped into the one one of the back seat and Atemu, who had been oblivious to the glare, hopped into the other.
As they headed off, poor Tea was trying desperately to stay awake. After that close call in the park several days ago, her dreams had returned in force and she was once again waking up at four in the morning, leaving her exhausted during the day. She wanted nothing more than to sleep, but tried to stay awake anyways. She was a little scared at what might happen if she fell asleep. She snuck a glance over to Atemu who seemed to be dozing beside her. He looked so good. His face resting on his hand as he looked out the window and tried not to fall asleep. His burning crimson orbs were dulled by exhaustion and his head was drooping every few seconds as he strugled to stay awake also. tea blushed at how cute he looked and turned back to her own window as she also tried to stay awake.
Mai had the top up on the convertible and it was night out. Mai and Serenity were wide awake in the front, listening to Evanescence (I do not own...but I DO love the music), and chatting about Silent Hill. In the back seat, Atemu was fast asleep with his head against the window, and Tea was starting to doze off, despite her fighting to stay awake. She decided to give in and get some sleep. She knew her friends would protect her if she needed protecting. Unfortunately though, she couldn't get comfortable, so she took off her seatbelt and lay on the seat with her legs bent, feet against the door, and her head on Atemu's lap. She would have blushed hard enough to put a tomato to shame if she had realized what she had done, but she was too tired to even notice.
Serenity on the other hand, DID notice and started to giggle a bit at the sleeping pair. She thought that they looked so cute. Tea with a tiny blush on her face, looking so innocent and peaceful as she slept. Atemu had a bit of a blush on his face as well, and with his head leaning against the window, he looked quite at peace as well. Serenity nudged Mai who looked back to see the sleeping couple and she started snickering. She told Serenity that she had a camera in the glove compartment. She grabbed it and took a couple of pictures of the cute couple.
About six hours into the day-long drive, Serenity had also fallen asleep, and the only one currently awake was Mai. Atemu slowly started stirring, and looked around the car with sleep-hazed eyes. He noticed that Mai was still awake but Serenity had fallen asleep. Then he took notice of the warmth on his lap and looked down curiously to see Tea, out cold with her head and hands on his lap. He closed his eyes as a warmth in his face told him he was blushing. He sat up slowly, afraid to wake her up. She just groaned a bit and shifted into a more comfortable position which resulted in her hands moving closer to a private area on him that was slowly waking to her touch.
Atemu closed his eyes and suppressed a moan at the contact. He slowly and gently moved her hands away from that area and tried to force himself to think about the trip itself. He turned and looked outside the window to see that they were surrounded by forest on all sides. Relaxing a bit, he turned his attention back to the sleeping girl on his lap. He knew he loved her and that was the main reason he insisted on coming along. He wouldn't be able to go on living if anything happened to her. Reaching out to her, he gently ran his hand through her brown, shoulder length hair and against her warm, slightly flushed cheek (FACE cheek people). Atemu once again sighed quietly, and observed everything around him. He had a feeling that this trip was going to be eventful to say the least.
~About ten minutes outside of Silent Hill~
Serenity had woken up a bit earlier and the three awake occupants of the car spoke quietly about Silent Hill. Exchanging information and theories. Tea started to stir on Atemu's lap, showing she was waking up.
As she slowly sat up, still oblivious to the fact that she'd had her head in the lap of the man she loved, she yawned cutely and looked around her, with blurry eyes, to see forest everywhere. She didn't ask anyone how long it would be until they got to Silent Hill. She could sense that they were close.
Everyone was talking and just relaxing when a strange rusty looking vehicle came up behind them. It looked so old and like something that belonged on the scrap heap. In fact it looked like something that shouldn't have been on the road at all in it's state. It was coming up fast on their tail. It had no lights to blind them, but the engine made enough noise to alert half of the country that it was there. Mai thought it might have wanted to pass them, so she pulled over a bit as she slowly sped up to avoid being hit. The car didn't pass though, it came at them even faster, just hitting the back of Mai's convertible and jostling everyone inside.
"Jerk!" Mai exclaimed in anger as she thought about the dent she'd have later. She sped up even more and noticed a turn off ahead. One way went to Virginia (yes...I changed that too), and the other to Silent Hill. So as she approached the turn off for their destination, she turned to warn everyone. "Hold on tight people. This guy's not letting us go." And as everyone braced themselves, she made a sharp turn onto the road leading to Silent Hill.
As she sped down the road, with the strange vehicle trailing behind them, the radio suddenly started to blast static. Everyone jumped as it was unexpected, but Tea frantically threw her hands up to her ears and wimpered in terror as she frantically looked around her. As Mai bent to try to turn the radio off, Tea started to scream, causing Atemu to look over at her in worry.
"Tea! It's all right! It's just the radio!" He called out to her gathering her in his arms, but she didn't seem to be able to hear him. She continued to scream, looking around even more frantically with her eyes wide with fear, and tears trailing down her pale cheeks.
Mai was still fiddling with the radio and had taken her eyes off the road when a smaller figure appeared out of the darkness and began to cross the road.
Everyone but Mai saw this and tried to warn her. "MAI!!!" They all screamed, causing her to look up and swerve to avoid hitting the figure. She lost control of the car and it ended up just barely hitting a small cliff on the one side of the road, causing everyone to be thrown against their seatbelts and pass out. Unfortunately, Mai was thrown against her seatbelt and hit her head on the steering wheel also knocking her out.
~about three hours later, after everyone woke up~
Atemu, Serenity and Mai were standing outside the car looking around, but they couldn't see anything because of the mist that enveloped the area around them. There was also stuff falling from the sky, and to be honest, the road looked like it hadn't been driven on in a long time. They had to go look for Tea. Atemu had been the first one to notice she was missing and was extremely worried about her.
[Flashback]
Atemu had woken up with a major headache. As he looked around he noticed that Mai and Serenity were still unconscious. Then, looking beside himself, he noticed that the back door on Tea's side was open, and she was gone. Quickly removing his seatbelt, Atemu opened the door on his side, and jumped out calling for Tea, groaning and holding onto the car when the pain in his head increased and threatened to bring him to his knees.
"TEA! WHERE ARE YOU?" He listened for a minute, praying to Ra that Tea would answer him, but no answer came. Becoming frantic, he ran ahead, down the road and called out to anyone who could hear him. "CAN ANYONE HEAR ME? SOMEONE...PLEASE HELP ME! MY FRIENDS AND I HAVE BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT!" and still, no one answered.
Out of breath, he stopped by a sign and looked over to notice that the sign was green and read 'Welcome to Silent Hill'. He knew that they'd find Tea in town, so he went back to get the others, completely oblivious to the strange creature hobbling on a path below him.
As he walked, a flake of something unknown landed on his cheek and he reached up to brush it off. As he pulled his hand away from his face, he saw that what he touched was still on his hand, leaving a greyish mark. He looked more closely at it and realized that what was falling was ash. Then he remembered what the girls had told him about undrground fires that still burned and he became even more worried about Tea.
[End Flashback]
The three got themselves organized and started heading down the road to find their lost friend. They walked slowly until they got into town and then they stood in the middle of the abandoned street looking at the empty buildings around them, coated in ash. They tried to get their bearings and see if they could make out which diection Tea had gone when Serenity had heard someone call out to them. They looked ahead of them and could make out a slight figure walking towards them from out of the mist.
"TEA!!!" Serenity screamed, scaring the other two people there with her. They all turned to see that it was indeed Tea, but something seemed different about her. As she walked up to them, they could see a strange and deep sense of sadness in her eyes. No one had known what she may have seen or heard that would have affected her like this, but they wanted to know. It was Serenity who asked her first. "Tea? What's wrong? Why do you look so sad?"
Tea looked at her and shook her head slowly. "It's not anything I've seen or anything. It's a deep sorrow I sense. It's everywhere. But that's not all..." and she looked at each of them in turn as she said the next part. "I also sense a deep hatred. There's something big going on in this town. I think we'll need to be careful."
Atemu would have said something but Mai beat him to it by pointing out a strange figure in the mist that Tea had come from. As everyone looked, the figure took off down a side street. The group took off after the runaway figure in hopes of getting some answers. As they ran after it, they passed a side street, and Tea who was behind the others, stopped at the street when she sensed that, that was the direction the figure had gone. She didn't even think to tell her friends, but took off down the street after it.
As Tea ran after the figure, she came to an alleyway with stairs leading down. She slowly started down the stairs, hearing the footsteps of the person as they kept running. As she got halfway down, she heard a siren start wining throughout the city. She stopped and looked around her as she noticed that it started to get darker out. It got so dark that she couldn't see anything at all. It was like a massive black void. Tea pulled out her small flashlight, thankful that they each thought to bring one, and turned it on to find that though she was still on the stairs, the walls of the buildings on either side of her were now a blood red and seemed to be made of some rusty looking stuff, and the same went for the ground. It was also now raining.
Tea slowly continued down the stairs to come out in another alleyway. She followed it until she came to an area full of metal fences that looked like a maze, by the way the fences were put up. She slowly walked up to what looked like a hospital stretcher with a black bag on it. As she got closer, she noticed puddles of red liquid that upon even closer inspection, turned out to be blood. She put her hand ove her mouth and backed away as she tried not to scream in horror.
Suddenly, a crashing sound hit her ears. The sound of something hitting the metal fence across from her. She whirled around to come face to face with what appeared to be a younger version of herself.
**About ten years ago, this girl could have been my twin, but why does she look so much like me?** Tea thought. She called out to the girl to wait, but she didn't listen and took off. Tea chased after her, running around fences and through the maze, and getting more and more soaked each passing moment.
She had almost caught up to her when the girl slipped through a hole in a fence with pinkish slimy-looking stuff at the base of it. As Tea walked up to it, she saw that it was fresh guts. All pink and wet still, and slightly steamy in the cool air. She tried not to throw up and slowly looked up with her hand over her mouth again, to come face to face with the owner of the lost intestines. It was a man that looked like he was torn in half. Everything from his waist down was missing! He looked like some sort of animal had gotten a hold of him and ripped in apart. He was hung on the fence like a rag doll, and upon closer inspection, she noticed he was still alive! He seemed to be staring at a spot just behind her, so she turned around slowly to come face-to-face with some kind of....MONSTER! It looked like a child but it was burned black and it wailed as it came after her (for those of you who have seen Lord of the Rings, it looked similar to Golem [I do not own lord of the Rings or any of it's characters], only slightly more deformed and a lot more disgusting). Turning to run, Tea screamed as she came face-to-face with another one. She dropped her flashlight, which amazingly stayed lit, and looked around her in a terrified frenzy to see hundreds of these horrible little things closing in on her from all sides. She screamed for someone to help her as she unblocked her mindlink and begged Atemu to help her, though not noticing if she got any response.
Tea turned to run into a building and had to throw herself at the door a couple of times to get it open. Then she came crashing to the ground and it stunned her. As she slowly looked behind her, she could see several on those little monsters closing in right behind her, and she tried to drag herself away from them with little success as they grabbed her feet and tried to drag her to them. She kept screaming for them to get off her and after a few moments, they began to disintigrate, leaving her alone in what appeared to be a pool hall. Once they were gone, Tea finally let the peace of unconsciousness consume her. Her last memory of Atemu begging her to talk to him.
~In a nearby part of town, happening at the same time as Tea's attack~
Atemu, Mai and Serenity had been running after the figure when Atemu suddenly called to them to stop. They looked back to see him facing back the way they had come, and they noticed that Tea......wasn't with them! They began to panick. When had she disappeared? They looked all over but couldn't find her. They had begun walking back the way they had come when the happened to see faint footprints in the ash on the ground, leading to a small alleyway.
They had just about reached it when the siren wailed throughout the town causing them to stop and look for the source of the noise. It only took them a moment though, to notice that it was getting darker, so they pulled out their flashlights and turned them on as it became too dark to see. What they saw shocked them to the core.
Everything around them was changing. The paint on the walls was chipping off and flying up into the black sky, and the wooden doors and posts began to decay at an alarming rate. The cemented ground was also peeling and floating into the sky and everything was taking on an unnatural shade of red, like blood.
Atemu's eyes narrowed a great deal as he suddenly sensed many dark creatures roaming the area, but didn't have any time to be concerned about it, because he and the girls suddenly heard a loud scream of pure terror. The former pharaoh spun around in shock to face his two comrades, and noticed they had similar looks on their faces. They had recognized the voice.
"TEA!!" They all screamed and they took off in the direction the scream had come from. Atemu fell somewhat behind when he was overcome by Tea's mind block coming down and the wave of utter terror that came from her. She was screaming in her mind for him to come help her, but when he tried to get her to explain what was wrong and when he tried to tell her he was coming, she was obviously so terrified, she didn't seem to hear him.
They ran down the stairs to the alleyway below and were just about to enter the maze of fences when it suddenly became light again and Tea's screams, as well as her mental pleas, ended. Now all the fences were replaced by wooden ones and they couldn't see around themselves all that well. They tried calling out to her, but got no answer and this worried them even more.
Atemu tried reaching out to her mentally, but got no response. He began running around the area, trying to find here, with the girls in tow, when they came upon an open doorway.
~in the pool hall with Tea~
As soon as it became light out again, Tea had regained consciousness and the first thing she noticed was that it was once again light out and she was in some sort of adandoned pool hall. As she looked around herself, she also noticed that her mind block was down and Atemu was frantically calling for her to answer him.
Slowly, Tea made her way to the door. Her big blue eyes even bigger than normal as she was constantly looking around her in fear. She walked out the door to only to bump into someone or....someTHING. Screaming and trying to run, as her fear overrode her body, Tea turned to run past whomever or whatever she had run into when she saw Atemu. He reached out and firmly grasped her shoulders pulling her close to him and holding her tightly.
was so worried. Why didn't you answer me?Atemu questioned quietly in her mind. He was terrified and knew she would feel it but tried to stay calm for her sake because he could sense her fear too.
Tea thought about putting up her mental blocks, but just decided to leave them down for now. //.....I.....I.....Mon-monsters.....everywhere....// Tea could only stutter out and her mind and body were still full of fear. She made herself remember what had happened and sent the images to Atemu through their link. She didn't realize that she was also sending an overwhelming fear and sadness. //I...was so scared!....I...I...didn't....k-know what t-to do!// She cried in her mind as she laid her head on his shoulder, her body now shaking and barely able to stand.
After the former pharaoh was able to calm himself to talk to her. He found himself at a loss for words. The images were indeed monsters, but were nothing like he'd ever seen before. And the fear she sent to him almost knocked him to his knees. What she had seen....was truly terrible. But they couldn't go back. They were brought here for a reason and now they were stuck there.
do you want to do? You said before that you wanted to come here because you felt that answers may a wait you here. Now it seems we are stuck. Do you think we should continue?Atemu was worried about her. She was strong and he admired her for that, but what she may have to face here may be too much for her. He glanced around at the other two girls who had figured out that they were speaking mentally (Mai isn't an idiot in my story), and were looking at them with twin looks of confusion and concern
Tea pulled out of Atemu's arms and stood back a bit to look into his face. She then determindly shook her head. "No I am going to face this. I want to know what is going on and I need to find the little girl again." When she said that, she realized that no one had seen the girl but her, so she explained. "I saw this little girl that looked to be about 9 years old. She looked like she could have been my twin when I was that old. She looked exactly like me! I have to find her!"
The others thought about it for a minute and decided to agree. In truth, they too were curious about what was going on and wanted some answers too. Somehow, this town seemed to be linked to Tea and they needed to know how and why. So after a minute, they each looked at the others and nodded their head. They would go on. First though, they would all go back to the car and get the maps they had left behind.
~back at the car (I won't be going through the entire movie because it would take too long and some parts are incredibly boring)~
At the car, as everyone was looking for their maps, Tea was looking at the road behind them. She felt a strange urge to go check it out. Like something was telling her, that there was something to see. So she slowly started walking back the way the car had come. It only took a minute fo the others to notice that she was walking away and they decided to go with the one map that Mai had found. So they all ran after her. They didn't want to lose her again. Not after what happened last time.
Serenity was the closest, so she was the first to reach Tea. She looked at the girl, relieved to see she wasn't in another trance, and thought **Tea sure has been acting weird. I hope she's alright** "Tea, is everything alright? Where are you going? I thought you wanted to stay in Silent Hill." She said quietly, hoping not to startle the girl who seemed oblivious to their presence.
Tea looked over to Serenity with a look of slight confusion on her face. She didn't know really, why she was going this way. She just felt drawn. "I'm not exactly sure, but I feel like something is pulling me in this direction. I can't really explain it." As she said that, she felt a sense of concern in her mind. She knew it was Atemu so she turned to him. "It's ok. I don't think we're in any danger here. Not now anyways." and she smiled a small smile in hopes of relaxing him a bit.
Atemu who had visibly tensed up only moments before could feel the sincerity in her words and he was greatly clamed by them, so as she looked, he had visibly relaxed. This made her smile a bit bigger. In all honesty, she felt honored that he would trust her so well.
They contined to walk for a few minutes until Tea and Serenity who were ahead of the others, noticed that the cement on the road was starting to crack and break away in chunks. The further they got, the worse it was. Finally, They all stopped as they saw a huge hole...or rather...what looked like a massive crater ahead of them. No one could see how far across it went or how deep. When they looked, all they saw was the mist. One thing was for sure though. There would be no going back now. The road was completely gone. But it looked as if this hole had been here for years, and if so, HOW did they get across it in the first place? Seeing that they had no choice but to go back into town, Tea resolved herself to finding the mysterious little girl. She felt that this child was the key to everything.
They all stood for a few moments looking out over the whole, not knowing what to say. They all turned to each other and silently agreed to go back to town. So they turned and started back when Tea's cell started crackling. It was just like with the radio, but this time, she wasn't afraid. She looked up when Mai said something.
Mai, who had been looking towards where the car was sitting, noticed a small fenced in area with two cars that looked like they were ready to go to the car cruncher. As she looked at them she noticed a figure walking in between them. Well, it seemed to be hobbling or something. Like it couldn't walk right. She called the others over to take a look.
"Uuuhhh...guys? We're not alone here!" She called out. Her voice a touch shaky when she realized that the figure didn't seem human. She saw the others come running to her side and she felt a bit better but still...."What the hell is that thing?!?" she questioned.
As they all looked, it moved from where the cars were, to where the opening in the fence was. It's seemingly armless torso swaying as if it was trying to keep it's balance. It's strangely shaped head moving back and forth as if trying to break free from the flesh that seemed to cover it.
Tea looked at it and strangely felt a sense of calmness as it aproached. She felt it was strange to see something so obviously inhuman and yet feel like she had before. She just closed her eyes half way and started to hum so softly that no one else could hear her over the static of all of their phones, which had by now started making the same staticky (sp?) noise.
Serenity was completely terrified. This creature looked to be human at one time. As it slowly approached them, she could make out that it seemed to have arms, but that they seemed to be under the dark grey skin on it. The same went for the head. There was no face on it. The skin made it look like the creature was in some strange and disgusting type of cocoon, except there was a hole about the size of a baseball on it's chest. The hole was dripping some sort of slimy, almost black, tar like stuff that when it hit the ground, it burned through it like some kind of acid. It's legs were knobby and skinny and were knock kneed. This would explain why it was hobbling. Still she could tell it was moving at a fast pace and it was closing in on them.
Atemu didn't know what to think. This creature was extremely disgusting in every way, and he sensed a great despair in it. It seemed to be fuelled by sorrow, like it had no choice, but was at the same time royally pissed. He was about to step forward to call upon his shadow magic, to deal with it when someone beat him to it. He looked over beside himself to see Tea slowly and quite calmly step closer to the hobbling thing.
Tea didn't really know what she was doing, but felt like someone or something was guiding her. As she stood calmly, not feeling any fear, she started humming a bit louder. The others heard her, but didn't know the tune. They worried about her, but it seemed she was in some sort of trance. She slowly raised her left hand to her Millenium pendant which by now was glowing and floating right in front of her, above her shirt. She closed her eyes and in a moment of bright light, she was holding a long golden staff with a silver crescent moon symbol on the tip of it. She opened her eyes again and everyone saw the fierce determination in them, as she raised the staff in front of her. She held it to her chest with both hands, like she was praying. Slowly, as everyone else watched, she began to glow a bright white light. Then it shot into her staff and she quicky threw the tip out towards the creature like she was warning it off, but that wasn't why she did that. Her staff glowed and an orange light shot out of the tip and into the monster where it immediately caught fire. As they all watched, the monster screamed as it burned down to nothing, leaving a few scraps of the thing as the only reminder that it was ever there.
Tea slowly turned towards the others, her staff disappearing into a ball of white light that went back into her pendant, the small pyramid now hanging once again, limply around her neck. As she looked at them, she gave a small smile and said "I think I figured out some of my abilities. I don't really know yet how to explain it though. It's like there is something inside of me, guiding me."
No one had ever seen such power and were amazed at what she had done. Mai was in awe and Serenity was going on about how cool it was. Atemu stood quietly watching the three girls all get so excited. He was very proud of her, but knew he didn't have to say anything since she sent him a look saying 'I know what your thinking'. The former king of Egypt had the grace to blush at that look, which earned him a smile from her.
Tea then heard something in her mind that was neither herself nor Atemu, say "the school". She didn't know what was going on but somehow knew that this strange voice was guiding her, so she turned to her friends and said "We have to go to the school. Something or someone waits for us there." When she got confused glances and questions of 'how do you on know?', she continued "Something has been guiding me, as I'm sure you've all noticed. I don't know what it is, but I sense that I can trust it. It's sometimes a sense, and sometimes a voice. This time it's a voice and it told me to go to the school."
The others seemed a bit reluctant to follow the advice from an unknown source, but the fact that Tea had said it was trustworthy and that Atemu could sense it and also trusted it, helped make up their minds. They all began to head towards town again in order to find the school.
~In the school~
Everyone was looking around the main floor in the hallway. They saw a long abandoned hall with many lockers locked and closed. They continued looking however, until Tea happened to come across an open locker with what looked like a rich blue (For those of you who have seen the movie...if you haven't figured it out by now, I am changing a few small things here and there). As she stopped to look at it, she heard what sounded like a door crashing open ahead a ways. The others were behind her, so it wasn't them. She slowly and cautiously made her way down the hall, shining her new flashlight down the hallway as she walked. She looked down at the flashlight and frowned as she recalled how she got it and why it seemed so strange.
[Flashback]
They had just entered the school and made their way to the office. Mai mentioned that it might be a good idea to look around for any sort of map they could use. Or maybe some indication of why this town was so unusual and dangerous. They all agreed and split up to search.
Atemu took the cabinets in the back of the room, while Serenity took the drawers on the one side and Mai took the drawers on the other. That left Tea with the drawers at the front of the room.
As she tried to open the drawers, she noticed that a few were empty but that most were locked, so she searched the top of the desk to try to find something that might be useful. After searching through many piles of paper, she came acroos a large keyring that held what looked to be like 40 keys on it. She looked through them and found a few labelled for the main office. So she tried two without any luck, in the locked drawers, but the third one opened them with a soft click. She opened one to find a few black and white photographs of some people dressed in pilgrims clothing. Abandoning that drawer, she opened the one right above it to see a medium sized, silver colored flashlight roll right into her hand. She silently placed the ring of keys into her skirt pocket , so they could take them with them. She felt they might need them.
Tea looked surpised at it and checked to see if it still worked. Amazingly it did. This caused her to frown however. This flashlight was from back when the town flourished, and that was 45 years ago. How could it still be working. It just didn't make any sense. As Tea continued to look at the flashlight in her hands, a voice in her head suddenly said 'beware the Pyramid Head'. And a foreboding sense of danger took over her mind.
Atemu who was just about to finish looking in the last cabinet, sensed the confusion and danger in Tea's mind. He had also heard the warning. Spinning around, he looked at Tea who didn't even seem to notice he was looking at her. She held a flashlight in her hand and was staring at it like she didn't trust it. Atemu stood staring at her, while the other two continued to look through the drawers, not finding anything useful, and mentally called to her.
Atemu called softly.
// ! // Tea had jumped a bit as she had totally zoned out and forgot the others were even there with her. She spun around to face a confused pharaoh. //OH! Sorry. Was something wrong?// She questioned while trying to hide the blush that threatened to form from his ever penetrating eyes.
was wondering the same thing. I got a sense of foreboding from you and heard that warning. Then when I looked at you, you seemed lost in thought.Atemu replied just as softly as before, while still staring intently into her face. He couldn't help but think about how beautiful she was, even though she was a bit of a mess. He was thankful he knew how to block his thoughts from her reading them.
//....I'm not sure. Everything here is over 45 years old and nothing should work, but look at this flashlight. It works fine. it doesn't make any sense.// Tea was suspicious and knew Atemu could sense it. It almost seemed as though that flashlight was left there just for them.
[End Flashback]
As Tea woke from her memories, she came to a doorway housing a stairwell leading down. She was about to walk by it when she heard another bang. A closer one coming from a doorway in the side wall at the base of the first flight of stairs. As she turned the light towards the doorway, a metal cage came into view with a small yellow canary in it. Quickly, Tea covered the light with her hand and quietly ushered her friends to follow her. Once they all nodded, she took off for the far end of the hallway and out the back door. This led them all into a small enclosed yard, and they all ran into the opposite building.
As the group of friends looked around this new hallway they were in, they noticed that it seemed as though this place had been the center of attack for a disaster area. Debris from the crumbling walls and ceiling littered the floor, making it difficult to walk quietly. They entered a classroom to the right of them, and as Mai and Serenity went to the boarded up windows to look out and check out if anything was going on outside, Atemu turned to see Tea slowly walking over to one of the desks and gently reach out to touch it.
Once she touched the desk, Tea was thrown back into what seemed to be a memory. A young brunette girl sat in her desk with her hands over her head cowering, **Teana** her mind supplied for her, as the rest of the students in the class formed a tight circle around the room and threw text books at her yelling "Burn the witch! Burn the witch!"
Suddenly, Tea was brought out of the memory by a warm and gentle hand being placed on her arm. She blinked back the tears that threatened to fall and fought down her anger and despair She removed her hand from the desk and turned to see Atemu looking at her with worried eyes. Somehow she knew he hadn't seen the memory, and she wasn't yet sure if she wanted to tell him about it. "I'm ok. I was just thinking about something." Was what she said to him. She would explain later, but for now, she just wanted to try to figure all of this out.
Atemu didn't believe that she was ok for one second, but sensed that she needed time to figure things out, so he let it be. He let go of her and nodded, giving her a grim smile. He wasn't surprised that she seemed somewhat relieved. He had sensed her emotions and was baffled as to why she was suddenly so angry and sad, but he knew that she would explain herself eventually.
Tea would have said something, but a sudden sound at the door caught everyone's attention. They all turned to see a young brunette girl, about 9 years old, standing in the doorway. Once she saw that they all were looking at her, she took off. Tea immediately gave chase after her and the others followed Tea.
They chased the mysterious little girl up three floors and down a short hallway into a bathroom where she seemed to be in one of the stalls. As they stood by the door, they could clearly hear her crying and wimpering. Tea looked at the others and motioned for them to stay put as she went to check the stalls for her. She slowly approached the stalls and knelt down on the floor to look under them to see if she could see anything. She didn't, so she got back up and cautiously walked up to the first closed stall. Taking a deep breath and trying to stay calm, she slowly reached out, placed her hand against the orange, wooden door, and gently pushed. The door swung open to reveal nothing. The same went for the second stall. At the third stall, as Tea went to push the door open, nothing happened. She tried pushing a bit harder, but again, nothing happened. The others called to her to get her attention. She looked around and saw that they were looking at Atemu, who's puzzle had begun glowing softly. Tea looked at her own item and noticed that it too was glowing. Nothing seemed to be happening though. She was about to try and contact Atemu mentally, but the sound of a wimper in the fourth stall caught everyone's attention and she slowly walked over to it.
As Tea gingerly reached out for the door she spoke softly to the young girl she thought was inside. "It's ok. I promise that I won't hurt you. I'm going to help you." and he slowly pushed the door open. What greeted her eyes was not what she had been expecting. Instead of finding the little girl, she was met with a gruesome sight. As she looked into the stall she screamed in horror and staggered backwards with her hand over her mouth, until she had hit the back wall, hard. There she stood for a moment dry heaving, trying not to throw up, and with her knees buckling, threatening to give out under her.
The others saw her reaction and raced over to her in fear of what she might have seen. As they got there, Atemu put his hand on her shoulder and everyone turned to look at what her eyes seemed to be fixed on. Serenity screamed at the sight and buried her face into Mai's shoulder as she held the shaking girl and tried not to scream herself. She had to quickly look away. Atemu saw what had caused Tea and the others such horror and he paled noticibly. His normally darkly tanned skin taking on an ashy hue to it. He too quickly looked away and turned back to Tea who had stood back up straight.
In the stall was a body. It was chained to the stall, beside the toilet with barbed wire chains, like the kind used on farms to keep animals in or out. It's arms were wrapped in the wires pulling them out from his sides and towards the sides of the stall. The remains of it's tattered jacket had the name 'Jerry' (not the same as in the movie) on it. This body obviously belonged to a man. His feet were bent behind him and attached to the same barbed wires. By the position he was in, it was obvious his back and neck were broken. His head was bent too far back to be at all natural, and there were wires around his throat too. There were needles in his arms with tubes attached to them that led back to the wall, where a glass bottle had been hung upside down. It seemed that something was drained into his body. The other end of the glass bottle had tubes on it going into the toilet beside him. The battered and obviously tortured corpse looked like a dried out mummy. It seemed to be many years old and probably dated back to the time when the town was still alive. It looked like an extremely slow and painful way to die. Somehow, Tea had a strange feeling, he had done something terribly wrong and deserved this torture, despite how she felt about hurting people or killing them.
Tea's attention was drawn to the back wall of the stall. Written there, above the toilet, in black crayon, were the words 'Dare you. Dare you. Double Dare you.' and an arrow that pointed to the bent back head of the corpse, or more precisely, the mouth of it. She closed her eyes for a moment then opened them and took a step forward.
Atemu's hand which had been around her shoulder tightened a bit as he felt her move. She slowly turned towards him and said "Look at the back wall. Something is there and I need to find out what it is." She noticed that Atemu didn't seem to like this idea, and was about to suggest ignoring it. "Listen. Teana...that little girl, led us here for a reason. I have to find out what she wants. I think this is a test to see if I have the courage to go near that body."
The pharaoh didn't like this at all but knew she was right. Still...he didn't want her anywhere near that body with all the strange things going on in town. He didn't trust this place. "If we must then so be it, but please let me go in your place Tea." He asked.
"No. I have to do this myself. This is a test for me. Don't worry, I'll be fine." Tea reassured him with a smile. Atemu didn't like it, but he hesitantly agreed and removed his hand from her arm. She gave him her flashlight and slowly walked forward into the stall. All of her friends watching her and silently praying nothing will happen.
Tea reached the foot of the body and slowly and shakily reached out to slip her hands through the barbed wire and into his mouth. A second later, she pulled back with a piece of green ceramic in her hands. She slipped it into her other skirt pocket and turned and ran back to her friends, taking the flashlight from Atemu and running for the door.
As she opened the door, she was three things in what appeared to be hazmat suits. She didn't know who or what they were but she was afraid so she shut the door fast, dropped her flashlight, and grabbed the keys to lock it. She tried two keys before finding the one that fit, and just in time too as not a second later, they began trying to kick the door down. As Tea and her friends stood in a small group, all close together. She unconsciously reached up for her millenium pendant and began to pray. "Oh God. Help. Please help. Please God help us. Please. Please. Help."
Atemu on the other hand was pissed. What the hell was going on in that town? "What now?" He demanded to himself, earning a questioning look from Mai and Serenity and a hurt look from Tea. **Damn! I should be more careful. I didn't mean for the others to even hear me.** He thought to himself, forgetting that Tea could hear his thoughts. "I mean, I just don't understand what the hell is going on in this town." He spoke more quietly. "Monsters we have never seen before. A mysterious little girl named Teana that can appear and disappear. All of it."
Tea sighed. "Neither do we. We're just going with the flow. I know that we aren't meant to meet Teana yet. This...all of it...we're being led to these places. I can feel it. These things are tests." She responded. She knew that she couldn't really explain any better. She didn't really know anymore. Just these feelings.
They would have duscussed it more, but once again, the siren wailed through the entire town warning of the on coming darkness. Mai, Serenity, and Aemu were looking around the room in a frenzy not knowing what to expect, and Tea just stood against the door. She knew what was coming. "It's happening again" she whispered to herself, catching everyone's attention and they all looked back at her. She slowly knelt down and grabbed the flashlight, turning it on and hitting it against her hand to get the light to work. Then she and the others shone their lights around the room as it became too dark to see otherwise.
They all saw the paint peeling off the walls and floating up into the ceiling. The wooden stalls decayed and left nothing but the metal wiring for it. The tiles fell off the walls, and everything again became rusty looking and red. Then they all heard a bang from the stall that held the corpse. They all turned their lights to see that the darkness had apparently animated the corpse. It was now crawling on all fours, using it's hands to drag it forward as it's feet were still chained up to it's back. This bent his back in an impossible way and kept his feet from touching the ground. He crawled slowly towards them with a sick smile on his face. His mouth open as his black tongue flicked out against his black lips. His eyes blindfolded with a piece of cloth. He yelled and reached out his hand to touch the walls making what looked like strange veins appear on it and spread from the wall to the floor and all around the room. As he slowly put his hand back down and once again began crawling towards them, what appeared to be large egg sacks appeared in random areas around the walls, moving and making sick suckling noises.
Tea stood frozen by fear, just all all the others seemed to be, but a mental blast of evil that came from the creature knocked both her and Atemu out of their trances. They looked at each other and at the others, then Tea screamed. They all looked at her but she didn't notice as she had tears running down her face. Someone had whispered in her head 'rapist' and 'pedefile'. These words filled with hate and fear, and the emotions coming from this sick thing, disgusted and terrified her. She spun around and took off, not knowing if the others followed her. She just had to get out of there. As she ran, she came to a corridor that when she looked was completely loaded with strange cockroach like bugs. Only they were much larger and seemed to have stingers on them.
As Tea watched, the three things, she had found out were human, that she had seen earlier in hazmat suits, were screaming and were covered with these things. The bugs ate these people alive like scarabs do, ripping the flesh right off the bones and devouring it. There was nothing she could do and the sight was so horrible, Tea just screamed again as she took off down to the end of the hallway only to run into a fence that she couldn't move. So she looked back and saw a hallway near the one that was filled with bugs and she took off down it. As she ran, she came across an area where much of the floor was gone. She would still easily be able to make it across, but as she looked down, she saw the same sight from her visions and dreams. The deep hole with flames reaching up from the bottom, looking for new victims. Tea shook her head of the thoughts and took off across the room, not even noticing the desk with the young girl sitting in it and drawing. As Tea ripped at a weak fence, she became aware of a second presence in the room and spun around, leaning against the fence to see Teana look up at her. She seemed to have a strange and unreadable look in her eyes, but before Tea could say or do anything, the fence behind her gave way and sent her crashing to the groud below, effectively knocking her out.
~With the rest of the gang, just after Tea took off~
They had taken off after her and tried to keep up, but the couple of seconds head start she had, had caused them to eventually lose her. They ran down the hall, looking for her and calling her name only to come to a corridor filled with millions of bugs and three human-shaped corpses. Only a bit of meat and lots of blood rested on the bones with the tatters of what appeared to be hazmat suits on them. The trio looked away in disgusted shock and took off down a nearby corridor that eventually led them to a large room. The floor was missing in many parts, but they ignored it and ran across the room to find a desk that sat empty in it. It was the only thing that sat in the room and they all found it strange that it was there. On the desk sat a couple of crayons, but that's all. They looked around the room to find a fence that appeared to be torn open and slowly and carefull walked towards it, afraid that one wrong move would send them into the firey abyss below.
~With Tea again~
It was only a few minutes later when Tea awoke. She was on her side on the ground, curled slightly. She was still a bit stunned though and was barely able to move at the moment. She was just starting to move, trying to get her body to work, when she heard the sound of thousands of tiny legs scrambling around. This caused her to move a bit faster despite the pain in her entire body, and she looked around with her amazingly still lit flashlight, to see the same bugs she saw before and also...a HUGE monster!
This monster came down the stairs amidst the bugs carrying an enormous blade in one hand and one of the corpses of the men in hazmat suits in the other. It stopped walking and turned to look at her. This made her scream. The monster seemed to have the body of a huge man, with what looked like a long robe wrapped around his waist. The thing that scared her the most was it's head. It was shaped like a pyramid and was all black. the longest point of the pyramid was pointing forward for it's face, but other than that, it didn't seem to have any eyes or mouth. As she looked in horror, it began walking slowly and akwardly (sp?) towards her causing her to get up and run, screaming, as far as she could from the monster.
~with the trio again~
They had almost made it to the ripped fence when they heard a scream. Everyone broke out into a run, to get to the fence. When they did, they saw a huge monster with a pyramid-shaped head walking among thousands of those cockroach-like bugs, towards a screaming Tea. Then she got up and ran, with the monster slowly following her.
Atemu didn't know what that monster was, but he knew he had to get to Tea, so he jumped through the hole in the fence with the girls in tow, and took of after her, just barely escaping the massive sword the monster had swung at them. They took off down the empty corridor they had seen Tea run down and they could still hear her footspes as she continued to run.
The pharaoh called out to Tea, but she didn't answer. They continued to run after her and after running for several minutes, they ran around a corner to see her leaning exhaustedly against a row of lockers on the main floor. As they got closer to her, she let out an anguished scream and collapsed to the floor shaking and crying.
Atemu was the first one to make it to her and gathered her up into his arms as she dropped the now dead flashlight and clung to him as though she thought he'd disappear. She continued to cry and shake for a good while, until everyone's attention was caught by the sound of the bugs coming closer. They all looked and saw them closing in on them, but Tea was too scared and tired to move, so Atemu picked her up and the group ran into a small room and closed and barred the door. Then they all stood back and listened as the bugs began obviously crawling all over it.
Mai had had enough and brought out a small gun she had been carrying ( I REALLY don't want to think where she might have been carrying it...:S), and gave it to the former pharaoh. He looked at it confused. He knew what to do with it, but wasn't sure why she'd brought it with her in the first place.
Before he could ask her, the sound of metal scraping over the ground caught their attention. No one recognized the sound except Tea and she was too scared to say anything at the moment. She backed into the far wall, and whispered "It's him". Everyone turned to look at her, but before she could explain, the sound stopped right outside the door, causing everyone to back away and stand against the far wall with apprehension.
Nothing happened for a few seconds and this caused everyone's nerves to go up even higher. Then the sound of something heavy, made of metal, hitting the ground in the room caused them all to jump and spin around to look at Atemu. He stood in the far corner of the room shaking tremendously, as he dropped the gun. Then as they watched, he raised his hands to his head and cried out in pain, collapsing to his knees in the corner.
Tea ran over to him and used to her mind link to find out what was wrong. She almost screamed as well when an overwhelming sense of evil and hatred ran through her mind. She looked at the man she loved and saw that he seemed to be in pain from it, so she reached out and gathered his lean, shaking frame against her and held him tightly. He seemed to relax a bit but otherwise, was unaffected.
Serenity had run into the other back corner and was standing against the wall, and Mai had grabbed the gun and stood beside her. Suddenly, the sword came sliding through the thin metal door almost getting them. It just happened to be about an inch too short. Still it was close enough to cause Serenity to scream and Tea to curl even tighter up with Atemu in her arms. He didn't even seem aware of what was going on. He was lost in the pain he was feeling in his mind. His crimson eyes closed tightly and a few tears escaping to run down his dusty, ash colored cheeks, as he continued to wimper and shake. The sword slowly pulled back out only to plunge back in again sideways and slide back and forth, still barely missing them.
They all stood there watching as the bugs suddenly began spilling in the newly made hole in the door, and Tea pulled Atemu to his feet as they pushed themselves even farther against the back wall. Atemu clung to Tea unsteadily, his pain fading but he was still not strong enough to stand on his own. He opened his eyes to see them bugs get closer and closer. Then one of the monster's arms shot into the room through the hole and frantically grabbed around trying to grab one of them, causing Atemu's eyes to open wide in surprise and a touch of fear. The arm, covered in blue veins and seemingly belonging to a dead body as the skin seemed to be dry and almost ready to start peeling off, moved around inhumanly fast, looking for a victim.
Everyone screamed and the arm bent to feel along the door for the bar holding it closed. The bugs were getting closer to them and they tried to shake some off them. The arm began pulling at the bar, and Mai suddenly stepped forward and shot at the arm five time, hitting it three times and after a moment, it pulled back. The bugs all started dying and dropping from the walls, and then they decayed turning into dust and disappearing as the room began to change as well. The paint came back and fixed itself to the wall again, and the floor turned back into an offwhite. The door fixing itself and wood suddenly reappearing on it. The fan in the wall, behind a row of metal bars, stopped and grew dusty as the tunnel returned to it's origional dust filled state. Everything had returned to normal and the sky got lighter. The light had returned, chasing off the creatures of the darkness.
Atemu stood on his own, having mostly recovered from the pain he was in before. Tea stood right beside him, still holding him and shaking like a leaf. Serenity and Mai were clinging to each other and shaking terribly. They all stood apart and Mai slowly opened the now completely wooden door to see the hallway they had seen when they first entered the school. They all slowly exited the room to stand in the corner and questioned what had just happened and what that monster was.
They stood and spoke of the events for several minutes. Everyone finding out that Tea of course, had most of the answers. Apparently the monster was known as a pyramid head, and it was one of the toughest monsters in Silent Hill. It was nearly impossible to kill. The bugs, no one knew anything about them. The men, Tea felt really bad for. She felt that if she had spoken to them instead of locking them out, she may have been able to save them.
No one really knew what to do next. Tea looked at everyone and noticed that they were all a mess. She had lost her jacket leaving her in her spagetti strap t-shirt. She was lucky to still have her cellphone hanging around her neck. She was covered in dirt and her hair hung limply around her face in a tangled mess. Mai was covered in dirt but otherwise looked fine, except it seemed she had lost her cellphone. Same went for Serenity. Atemu's muscle shirt was ripped in a few places, and he was covered with grime, but otherwise seemed ok, other than the look of confusion in his normally bright crimson orbs, and that he too lost his phone. His tri-colored, spikey hair still spiked, but also somewhat dusty, and out of place.
Tea put her hand in her skirt pocket and felt a something hard (that so does NOT sound right! LOL). She pulled it out (aaahhh!....sounds SO bad! LOL), and saw that it was that green ceramic thing she had found earlier in the bathroom. She realized that whatever it was, it was from a Hotel, so she knew where they had to go next.
~Out on the main fog-filled street in Silent Hill~
Everyone was walking towards the large hotel when they heard a shout. They ran down the street and found two people fighting. They stopped surprised by what they saw. A young woman looking to be about 21, and an older woman looking to be about 50, were arguing about something. The young woman was dressed in a long black dress that had long sleeves and came to her ankles. She also wore black sneakers. She was throwing rocks at the old woman and yelling about sinners and lies. They all ran up to the two fighting women and Atemu grabbed the young woman's arms to stop her from throwing things. Tea ran over to the old woman who was dressed in grey rags and had long and tangled grey hair. She helped her stand up and asked her about what happened.
The old woman's eyes went wide when she looked at Tea and she whispered, "Teana?" Fortunately, the whisper was so quiet that no one but Tea had heard it and now that she had put her mind block back up, Atemu couldn't even find out. Still, the mention of that name cause Tea to pull back a bit in surprise. She looked at the woman and slowly shook her head.
"I'm sorry. My name is Tea. Tea Gardner." She looked at the old woman who didn't even seem to hear what she had said. She looked at Tea like she had seen a ghost. "Do you know this Teana? I know a little about her, but not much." Tea tried again. She needed to find out what she could.
The old woman continued to look at her. "Teana was my daughter. They burned her. Did so many terrible things to her." The old woman whispered. The others looked at them in confusion, but Tea ignored it for the moment. The old woman looked over to the younger one and said a bit louder so they all could hear, "Beware, they are evil. They burn in the hell they created." Then she turned around and slowly left the area.
The others had to hold the young girl back as she screamed "FILTH AND LIES!!" and tried to throw a stick at the old woman. Tea walked over to them slowly, already a dislike for the young woman, present in her heart. She didn't trust her. "What's your name?" she asked.
The young woman looked at Tea a moment and replied "Salem (it's actually one of my middle names). My name is Salem." Then she bent down to her small bag she had been carrying and started putting cans that seemed to have fallen out, back in. She looked up to see the questionning gazes for the four strangers and spoke "Mother needs more food" as she held up two cans and then put them back into the bag.
Tea knelt beside her, and just as Salem had reached for a nearby knife, Tea grabbed it saying "I'm taking this." Then she slid it in her boot and got back up. They walked back out onto the main street and headed for the door to the hotel when a picture caught their eyes. They all stopped and looked at it. It depicted a young woman being burned at the stake. Tea was filled with horror as she looked at it, but didn't let it show. She quietly asked "What is this?" and Salem, whom no one noticed was following them, answered, "This is the first burning."
Everyone turned to look at her and Tea asked again, "What?"
Salem looked at them all and replied. "This is the first burning. When the ancestors of my ancestors came to this town, they burned those who had sinned."
No one but Tea knew what she had meant. Tea turned back to the picture and explained. "The people of this town were witch hunters." This explained a great deal to her. The old woman had said that her daughter, Teana, was burned. Yet she and the others clearly saw the child in the school, and Tea had seen her even before that. **They burned the poor girl. And if that memory if real, then everyone thought of her as a witch.** She thought sadly. She felt anger towards the people for doing this to a child, but kept it hidden for now. As the old woman had said, they were buring in a hell they had created.
They were just about to move on, to go to the hotel, when once they heard a noise in the sky. They lookd up to see a bunch of birds flying away in huge flocks, all going in one direction. Salem looked back at them and yelled "We have to go! WE HAVE TO GO!!" She then turned and ran a few steps ahead, in the same direction as the birds, and turned back to yell "The darkness is coming! Come on!" And she ran ahead. She stopped everyone little bit to look back to see if the others were following.
Mai and Serenity started to follow her and Atemu turned to grab Tea's arm as she just stood there looking somewhat suspicious of the young woman leading them off to someplace unknown. She reluctantly followed Atemu as he continued to pull her in the same direction. They all began running after the woman as she called back "The church isn't far!"
After about five minutes of running, they ended up running through a cemetary that led them to a huge building what a strange design on top. It was a large cross with four smaller crosses in each direction and a circle connecting each. This was the church. They all ran up the steps, until Tea stopped as she saw it clearly. She stood completely still staring at it as she got a strange sense of familiarity. She got a brief flashback of what seemed to be a young girl screaming as smoke came up all around her and an unbelieveable pain went through her body. Then just as quickly as the memory came, it left. Tea was once again standing outside of the church with Salem and Atemu. The others already having run inside.
All of a sudden, the siren sounded, this time louder than before, and as she looked up, Tea could see that the siren came from the church. Atemu had come down to grab her arm, as Salem stood on the upper steps calling out "Come on! The darkness comes!"
Just as Atemu had grabbed her arm, he stopped, looking behind Tea in shock. She turned to see about two hundred people come running from seemingly no where to get to the church before the darkness hit. Atemu snapped out of it and pulled once again on Teas arm, then the number of people running up the stairs knocked him away from her and dragged him into the church against his will. Tea had just started up the stairs when the old woman came out of the church and stopped her.
The old woman grabbed her arm and spun her around to face her, saying "This is not the place to be. You are not safe. They are evil and cannot be trusted." Then suddenly a rock came flying out of seemingly no where and hit the old woman on the head. Atemu had come back out of the church and grabbed Salem before she could throw another rock, but still she screamed "You lie!".
Tea knelt down beside the older woman and gently spoke to her. "I saw your daughter. I saw Teana." This caught the old woman's attention. "She's dead isn't she? What does she want?"
The old woman shook her head slowly and spoke just as quietly to her. "Evil seeks avengance. Becareful what you choose." As she finished speaking those words, the darkness that had approached so far unnoticed grew too dark to see. The old woman turned on a small light and gave it to Tea with a small map. Then Tea turned to Atemu, who stood waiting for her, and she grabbed him by the arm, effectively dragging him up the stairs and into the church. But unexpected by him, she pushed him inside and then backed away from the door. She looked sadly at him and then they both turned as a scream spilt through the air.
They turned to see a pyramid head holding Salem by the throat. He walked up a few stairs and stopped, looking at them. he then looked back to his captive prey and reached up to rip her clothes off, earning a scream from her and Tea both. Then, to the shock of everyone who watched, he slowly reached up and grabbed her by the chest, squeezing and turning his hand so that her skin ripped off her, leaving her as a still living, bleeding body in his grasp. Then he turned and threw the skin at the door as it finished closing, causing blood to spatter against Atemu and Tea. Tea got a lot on her since she still stood outside. She ran over to the old woman who pointed out what direction to go in. Then she left.
Tea looked at the map she had gotten and realized it was a map of the hospital. Seeing that the pyramid head was now looking at her and had discarded the body of Akira, she ran off in the direction the old woman had sent her in and eventually, after running around, trying to avoid the other types of monsters running loose around the town, she made it to the hospital and went inside carefully. The sense of darkness that floated about this town grew tenfold in this building. Tea didn't even seem to notice. She knew what she needed to do and somehow she wasn't afraid
She saw the elevator and slowly walked inside. Then, surprisingly, the doors closed behind her and the elevator plunged down about ten levels at a litterally breakneck speed. She screamed and stood braced against the back wall as the elevator plunged down. She thought she was going to die, so she opened up her mind link and spoke to Atemu. She didn't keep it open long. Just long enough to send a brief message.
She closed her eyes and thought about him, slowly calming herself and beginning to feel warm with the strength of her feelings. She then slowly opened her eyes and told him //Atemu...I might not have long left so I have to tell you....I love you and I have for a long time. Please stay safe.// and then she closed the link before he could send any sort of response. She was about to pull out the map when the elevator hit the bottom level with enough force to throw her to the ground and stun her for a good while.
~In the church with Tea's friends~
They were standing at the doorway after seeing the people pray to bring back the light. They had been attacked, the people rushing at them like a mob, calling out "Witch. Witch", but an older woman stopped then and told them to come and pray. That they would deal with the strangers later. The trio however were shocked that Tea had purposely gotten separated from them. They had to find her.
Aemu was in worse condition, because he felt he had just stood there when he could have reached out for her and dragged her inside with him. He was trying not to cry. He lost his love and didn't know how she was doing. He was just about to get up and go out looking for her when he heard her speak to him through their link. It was only open briefly, but through it came such warmth. Calmness, love, and at the same time pain and fear. She had said to him //Atemu...I might not have long left so I have to tell you....I love you and I have for a long time. Please stay safe.// He was going to send his own reply, but she cut off her end of the link before he could. He wanted to tell her he loved her and now he felt he may never have the chance. This broke his heart and a few stray tears made their way down his face.
He and the others were so lost in thought that they didn't see the people coming up to them until it was too late. They were grabbed and knocked out before they could fight back.
The leader of the witch hunters, Christobella, told her followers to tie them up and that they would soon burn them. The crazy people of Silent Hill all laughed and smiled in sick pleasure at the thought.
~On the bottom floor of the hospital with Tea~
Tea had just woken up and had walked around for a while on the bottom floor when a sudden shap pain in the back of her head caused her to cry out and stagger. She closed her eyes and a vision of Atemu tied to a long ladder and unconscious hit her. She knew she had to hurry. Her friends and the man she loved were in danger. So she broke out into a run, following the map and getting closer to the room that held all the answers she needed.
She was almost there. Just one more corner to go and she would be home free. Just as she rounded the final corner, Tea came to a stop, looking around with a strange sense of calmness. There seemed to be about two dozen monsters in the hallway. They were bent in akward (sp?) poses just standing there as she shone the light on them. They looked to be nurses at one time. They were all women. They had on the small white nurse uniform and small white hats. They also wore small, pointed, white heels and each one held some type of weapon. Either a knife or pipe.
As she stood watching them with the light on them, they suddenly began to thrash around and then all snapped to attention and slowly began walking towards her. They almost staggered, with their hips swaying out to one side or the other. Their faces all torn up and messed beyond any sort of recognition, but otherwise, they looked human. The way they moved and the noises they made, were the only evidence that they weren't.
Tea backed up a couple steps and raised her light up to her face, and watched as they kept walking towards her. Then she clicked the light off and they stopped, settling back into what seemed to be guard poses. Some wimpering or crying out as they did. Tea took a deep breath and held the light at her side as she said "I can do this." Then she slowly made her way to the monsters.
She slowly began to make her way through the monsters and was moving quite slowly so as to not bump into one or cause it to move unexpectedly. She was about halfway through when one slowly turned and faced her, swinging a knife for her throat. She ducked out of the way as it hit the monster behind her and slit it's throat, and she ended up backing into another one causing it to swing at her too. She ducked that one as well and the monsters began unintentionally attacking each other. She fell to her knees and crawled out of the group on the other side, and left the light turned on so it would draw them to it. Then she raced to the door at the end of the now clear hallway.
As she burst through the door, she was greeted by a blinding light causing her to cover her eyes. Then a young voice spoke to her. "Welcome Tea. Congradualtions for making it this far. Your reward...the truth." And Tea was taken back into memories. What she saw horrified her to no extent. She saw young Teana, a good little girl, be threatened and harrassed. Then when she ran away, she was raped by the janitor, Jerry. Her mother tried to help her, but could do nothing. Her aunt Christobella thought she was a witch, just like everyone else. She convinced her mother to let her be taken away. There was nothing Tea or Teana's mother could do, but watch as the young girl was dragged into the hotel. Then Teana's mother was blocked from going and and she ran off horrified at what she had allowed happen.
Tea however went inside with Teana and she screamed in horror as she saw the young girl burned alive. Her heart skipping a beat as the fire was knocked away from her and the cops, lead there by her mother, began to try to get her unshackled and get her to a hospital. Tea learned about how Teana was her older sister and had called her to Silent Hill, because it was up to her to end all this suffering. Teana's pure heart was darkened by hate for the people that had done this to her, and she wanted them to pay.
Her left over innocence formed into a ball, and it solidified into a child. This child, this innocence, was Tea. Teana was a part of Tea and vice versa, so they shared many things. Memories, power and a soul. Teana being the dark side and Tea being the light.
The light finally faded and Tea opened her eyes to come face-to-face with the little girl she had been chasing all this time. Teana's dark side. On a massive hospital bed behind her, lay Teana herself. Tea looked at the little girl and spoke to her. "I know what it is you want, but how do I fit into all of this?"
Teana's dark told her it was simple. The blind faith of the cowards who had hurt her, was keeping her out of the church, but Tea could enter. Tea didn't know what to do. She sank to her knees trying not to cry as she thought. Then the dark said something that made up her mind. "They have your friends and Atemu is the first one they will burn. It will happen soon." When she heard this, Tea decided to help. She slowly stood up and asked what she had to do. The young girl walked up to her and spoke "The truth." And then enveloped her in a big and tight hug. As Tea hugged her back, the young girl slowly began to intigrate herself into Tea's body, causing Tea to thrash around in pain. Once the fusion was complete, Tea knew everything about her powers and how to control them. It seemed her older sister was the first one to hold the Millenium pendant and it was sent to her after. Tea stood up straight and ran off to the elevator to get back to the church as soon as she could, to stop the burning and save her friends and love.
~In the church~
The two girls were still unconscious but were also being held back in case they woke up and tried to help their friend. Atemu was tied to the top of a long ladder that sat against the upper balcony of the side wall of the church. He was awake and really pissed off, but was also unable to do anything as his hands were tied at his sides. He was growling and looking around. He saw the other girls inconscious still. He turned to the people all around him and noticed a pile of wood in the centre of a large circle.
Christobella turned to the violently cheering people and spoke about burning the evil child and those who helped her. The cheers rose up even higher and she was about to turn around to light the fire when a angry voice called out from the doorway "THATS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!"
Everyone turned to see a very pissed and very blood covered Tea standing in the doorway and they stood there shocked that she was still alive. Atemu couldn't believe his eyes. Tea was alive, but...something was different about her. Darker and More determined. She strode forward calmly and walked right into the group of crazy witch hunters. She yelled about how she and her friends had come from a place far away. A place full of life and light. Then she was slapped in the face by an old woman who yelled about her lying. She just pushed the old hag out of her way and kept walking towards Christobella. She yelled more about how they were all living in fear because they had burned an innocent child. Then she yelled "You can't save yourselves, because your already damned!" This she received a punch in the face for. The force of the blow knocking her to her knees and slightly stunning her, allowing two people to grab her arms.
Christobella looked around her at the people who looked up to her, and then to the two girls slowly stirring awake, and the man she has tied to the ladder. Then she turned back to face Tea and yelled, "BURN THE WITCH!" and this caused everyone to start cheering once again.
Tea who was kneeling on the ground with one person holding each of her arms looked up at the insane woman in disgust and disbelief, and said "Burn me? That's your answer? Burn anything you can't control." She slowly stood up and shook the people off her. She calmly walked up to Christobella and spoke about how they couldn't get away from their guilt in killing a little girl. She said "Your burning in a firey hell you created and God is not here." Then she stood perfectly calmly in front of the people, practically daring them to do something.
Christobella looked at her a moment, then quickly reached into her deep blue robe sleeve, pulled out a small dagger, and stabbed Tea in the heart, to the shock of Tea and her friends.
"TEA!" Her friends yelled in horror as they saw her fatally wounded right in front of them. There was nothing they could do but watch as she pulled the knife out and Tea collapsed to her knees, holding her wound. The crazy leader of the witch hunters looked at her stunned followers and made a big speech about how this witch had made her do it.
Atemu watched with wide eyes as Tea slowly bled to death in front of him. He didn't even notice that he was crying. He could only see the woman he loved. He couldn't move. He could only watch as her life slowly seeped out of her body. His tears increased in strength as he watched her kneel there, helpless to help her. **Tea...I wish...I wish I got a chance to tell you...I love you** He thought, hoping she had dropped her block and could hear him.
In fact, Tea HAD dropped her walls and did hear him. She was so cold. Everything was turning dark in front of her and she could feel her body slowly going numb. His voice pierced through the darkness and cold, warming her up with the strong flow of love that came with his confession. She slowly opened her eyes and felt a strange power pouring out of her wound.
To anyone who looked, they saw that her bleeding wound had suddenly started pouring black blood. Everyone noticed that the inside of the church was suddenly becoming darker and Christobella looked over to Tea who was shaking with the force of the power leaking from her body, and whispered in horror "What have you done? You've let the darkness in." The blood continued to pour from Tea's wound and fell onto the circular area that was used for burning people. As it touched the floor, it was eaten away and everything the black blood touched disintegrated. The hole that was forming, was the one Tea had been dreaming about. As the flow of black blood stopped pouring from her wound, she looked down to see that her wound was healing. She looked down into the hole to see the angry fire burning and looking to kill. She saw her sister's stretcher on a small island while the fire surrounded it. She slowly looked up at Atemu who was looking at her shocked and confused, but also happy. She looked back down and grabbed the knife that Christobella had dropped, standing up slowly and turning around to stare in hatred at the people who dared to hurt her sister and attempt to hurt her friends and the man she loved. She was royally pissed! She stood calmly, with the knife in one hand, hanging by her waist. Flares of white energy radiating from her body as she willed herself not to act. This was Teana's revenge, not hers. She stood there, her posture and face practically screaming that they were going to die. She slowly walked sideways away from the hole as the stretcher floated up from below and tonnes of barbed wire came out around it. Floating around the girl on the stretcher like it was alive.
The wire shot out and caught anyone who got in it's way, tearing them apart painfully. Blood flying everywhere and Tea getting even more covered. She was litterally soaked in blood, as she made her way up to the second floor to free Atemu. Mai and Serenity being protected by the barbed wire walls that had formed around them, couldn't see anything, but they heard the anguished and painful screams of the frightened people locked in the church. Teana would protect them for her younger sister Tea.
Christobella was caught by the barbed wire and though she begged for God's help to beat this evil, she was torn in half slowly and painfully. The young girl that was Teana's darkness, dancing around in the blood that rained from her torn body, full of satisfaction that the evil woman who had caused her the most pain was dead, smiled evilly at the remaining people before the wire shot out and killed them all.
Tea had made it up onto the second floor and went to try and free Atemu when she was attacked by an old man. He tried to kill her but one swift swing of the knife she held, into his throat and he was dead. The next man turned to attack her and she wasn't ready to defend herself, but suddenly barbed wire shot up from the ground and wrapped him in a cocoon effectively tearing him into pieces and thus saving Tea.
She looked over to Teana and saw her sister smiling at her. She smiled grimly back, before turning her attention back to the man she loved as he looked frantically back and forth as though looking for someone or something.
She then went over to the ladder and cut the ropes, freeing Atemu. As he jumped down onto the floor next to her, she grabbed his had and took him to a part of the wall away from the balcony and held him against her as she slid down into a sitting position. She held him against her and rocked back and forth.
He in turn, wrapped his arms around her blood soaked, and shaking frame, and held her close to him. He knew she was terrified and angry. He was able to read her emotions as she freed the darkness in the church and felt her satisfaction when she saw the people being so ruthlessly killed. Now all he could feel was horror, exhaustion, and sadness. He held her against him, rocking with her, and whispering "I love you" over and over in her ear, and in her head.
After several minutes, they both passed out from a combination of shock and being so tired, waking up much later to see that it was once again light out and they walked down to the first floor to find their friends waiting for them. They all gathered and Mai and Serenity lead the way out of the now clean church, followed by Tea and Atemu, holding hands as Tea walked unsteadily beside him. As Tea and her love passed the old woman sitting on the steps, she called out to them "Why did she not take me with the others?"
Tea stopped and stood still for a moment, to the questioning glance of Atenu who stood with her. Then she said "Because you are her mother." Then she looked at the old woman and over to where the hole once was, which was now fixed up, and continued "Mother is God in the eyes if a child" and with a smile she walked out of the church to leave the horror behind her forever.
~back at the car~
Mai and Serenity were about to grab the front seat when Tea told Mai she knew of a way out, but she would need to drive. Mai hesitated for only a moment before handing her they keys and hopping into the passenger seat beside her. Serenity shrugged and hopped into the back seat along with Atemu who shot a questioning glance at Tea, and jumped in beside her. After three tries, Tea got the car started and turned around. Then she drove back to the hole in the ground, and before anyone could say anything, she drove across a ghost road that had appeared across it. This scared everyone because they all thought that they'd fall to their deaths, but strangely, Tea knew what she was doing. She just smiled and once they were across, put the car in park and got out to let Mai take over. Serenity saw Tea motion her head to the passenger seat, and took it in her place, leaving Tea to hop into the empty back seat with Atemu.
Once they were all seated, Mai took off once again for home. Tea looked at Atemu who was looking at her and she explained everything to him about the child and what she had found out. Once she had finished she saw him looking at her in a shocked way. She could tell from their link that he believed her, but that he was shocked she had to go through so much horror. She just smiled a bit at him and told him she was glad it was over now and that hopefully her sister would now be able to find the peace she deserved.
Tea looked at him for a moment, silently thinking about how handsome and brave he was, and then realized just how tired she really was. She yawned and tried to get comfortable, but it just wasn't happening. Atemu looked over at her and noticed that she couldn't seem to get comfortable, so he reached over and unbuckled her belt, receiving a confused look from Tea. He reached out and put his arm around her waist and pulled her against him, where she immediately managed to get comfortable, and held her as she slowly started to drift off, aware of a pleasant blush across her face as he held her against his firm body. She rested her head on his chest, with her hands tangled in the chain for the Millenium puzzle, and smiled gently as she felt his love for her through their link.
~Back in Domino Japan~
They had been back in Domino Japan for a few days now and pretty much everything has returned to normal. Sadly, this was not necessarily a good thing. Once they had returned, and everyone had found out about everything that had happened, the guys were always either hovering over Tea or Atemu. They never had any chance together. They hadn't even had a chance to kiss.
Tea was sitting in her room feeling depressed and thinking about what she could do when a voice in the back of her mind spoke out. It was Teana, her yami. Yes, now Tea had a yami. After everything that had happened, she had found out that her sister's soul was stuck in her item, and yes everyone knew about it. At first Atemu had been concerned that it might mean more monsters and trouble, but he eventually found out that her sister was now at peace.
Anyways, Tea was moping around in her room, when her sister got an idea about how to possibly get Atemu's attention. It was summer break and it was two in the morning. Everyone would be in bed so Tea could get dressed and call Atemu through her link to maybe come and see her if he liked. She said I know the perfect outfit to wear sis. Come on. Let's at least give it a try.
Tea sighed and agreed. She really wanted to see Atemu, and hoped to make a good impression, and she knew her sister had good taste. She had let Teana pick out outfits for her before, and was pleasantly shocked at what she found herself in. They were things she normally wouldn't wear, but with her new yami, she found a whole new bold side to her that no one knew about except for her taste in clothes. She gave up control of her body, and felt the small tug in her mind that signaled they had switched places. She wasn't even going to bother watching, but rested in her soulroom.
Now, if anyone saw this new Tea, they would be surprised. She looked almost exactly the same, except her hair was about two inches longer and was black with a dark brown streak on either side of her face, and instead of blue eyes, she had fierce black eyes. This was Teana. And she had a plan. She liked the ancient pharaoh and wantd her sister to be able to get together with him, so she would help her out in any way she could.
Teana smiled a small and sneaky smile as she walked into Tea's closet and began looking through her clothes. Her smile widening when she found what she was looking for.
Tea had been resting for about an hour when she was called by her sister. All right Tea. You can have control now. And she handed control of the body over to Tea who took it and slowly turned to look in the full-length mirror. What she saw made her jaw drop. She was dressed in a white button down blouse that had short sleeves and ended just above her bellybutton, and a short, black, pleated skirt that barely covered her thighs. It looked really good on her and accentuated her dancer's figure nicely. Then there was the black knee-high boots, and white hairband that swept her hair out of her face. The make-up she wore was a touch of black eyeshadow to bring out her blue eyes, and a touch of rose colored lip gloss. Over all, she had a very cute school girl ensemble going on. She looked like someone who knew how to seduce a man, but also still held her innocence.
Teana too was impressed with the results. She knew the look was nice, but it was only part of what was needed to get what she had planned, to take place. The rest would be up to Tea. As Tea stood looking in awe at her outfit, her yami looked over to the clock and noticed it was three in the morning. Tea She called, getting her light's attention We need to call him and get him to come over. I think that with my strength pooled with yours, you should be able to call him from here if you want.
Tea perked up at this thought. She said. So they sat on the edge of her bed and gave it a try. Tea closed her eyes and focused on her link to Atemu. //Atemu. Can you hear me?// She wasn't sure this would work, but after a moment, a sense of confusion and sleepyness met her along with a
Tea stiffled a giggle at his response. She did feel guilty about waking him up, but she had really wanted to talk to him. //Uummm....I was wondering....do-do you want to....come over?// She was stuttering. Not a good sign. She slowly took a deep breath and fought down her nervousness. She wasn't sure he'd want to come see her at this time of the night, but she had to give it a try.
It only took a couple of minutes for her to get a more awake response from him. it late? I mean, I'd like to come over, but it's three in the morning. Aren't you tired?Tea smiled a bit. He was such a gentleman. //Actually, I was sleeping late today, so I am wide awake right now// She responded, earning a brief feeling of excitement from him and an abrupt apology about that. I've been looking for some way to see you, but we've never had the chance and now we do. So you wanted me to come over? I can be there in 15 minutes.Tea smiled and sent a sense of amusement to him to let him know she was enjoying his company already. Then her smile turned into a smirk and she sent a brief yet powerful blast of sexual energy at him before blocking her mind link. She sat back on her bed and laughed as she imagined his face as she did that.
Teana, who had seen and heard everything, appeared in spiritual form and laughed right beside her sister. That was indeed fun. Tea couldn't believe she had done that to him, but it would be worth it to see his face when he got there.
~45 minutes later (gee...wonder why he's so late...LOL)~
Tea was sitting on her couch watching Slither on DVD, when she heard the doorbell ring. She got up and went to answer it with a big smile on her face. She opened the door to reveal a flustered Atemu. He looked at her and his jaw dropped causing her to laugh. She knew she looked good. She had undone a few buttons on the shirt and it now barely covered her chest. Also she had pulled off the boots leaving her bare legged and barefoot.
She stood to the side and invited Atemu in. After a moment, he nodded giving her a strange and piercing look before walking and and taking off his jacket and shoes. Tea knew what that look was about. It was about her choice of outfit and what she had done earlier in her link. She just smiled an innocent smile that she knew he didn't buy, and led him to the couch. They sat down side by side and Tea turned off the movie. Then she turned to face Atemu as he did the same to her. She looked at his blushing face and couldn't help it. She had to ask. "So...what took you so long? I thought you said 15 minutes."
Atemu coughed and blushed even brighter. He looked her dead in the eye and just shook his head. "I'll answer that if you answer a question of mine." when Tea nodded her head in agreement he continued, "Why did you send that....feeling....to me?" he asked with some difficulty, trying not to blush at the thought of what he had to do before he could leave the house. Thankfully, that was a private thought and she didn't catch it.
Tea's answer was simple. She leaned forward and captured his lips with hers. She kissed him gently but firmly and after a moment of obviously surprised hesitation, Atemu leaned in and kissed her back. Tea loved the feel of his soft lips against hers. He was so warm and tasted to sweet. She reached up and put her hand against his cheek, pulling him closer to her and deeper into the kiss as she softly touched her tongue to his lips begging for entry. He opened his mouth and her tongue slipped in to run along the roof of his mouth and battle his tongue. They sat in the heated kiss for quite a while, Tea enjoying the taste of Cinnamon from Atemu's mouth and him enjoying the taste of cherries in her mouth.
Eventually, they had to pull away, both blushing profusely and panting to catch their lost breath. Tea looked Atemu in the eyes and said, "if that doesn't answer your question, then maybe this will help", and she opened her link to send him another, even MORE powerful blast of the same sexual tension she had been feeling for a while. Atemu's body jerked as he received the emotion and his eyes opened impossibly wide as he tried to handle the flow coming from her. His whole body began shaking a bit and his face turned incredibly red as he looked back at her.
(LEMON begins! You HAVE been warned!)
Tea didn't understand why he was just looking at her and was about to apologize for possibly offending or upsetting him when he quickly leaned forward, knocking her onto her back on the couch, with him landing on top of her, and kissed her hungrily as if he was trying to steal the very life from her body. His hand on her waist held her close, flush against his body, and his other hand moving to the buttons of her blouse to slowly trace the revealed skin of her stomache as he kissed her.
Tea kissed him back just as hungrily, easily taking control of the kiss, as she moved her body into place under his, moving to that her legs were on either side of his. She felt his well-toned body pressed up against her and felt the curves of all of his muscles against her smaller body. Then, she felt something poking her between her legs. A bulge in his pants and as she moved so that it rubbed against her, she felt Atemu's body jerk and felt him gasp into their kiss, this immediately telling her what it was. Tea was completely surrendering to her lust and love, and she became extremely bold. She moved her one hand from behind his neck, to pull it across his chest and down over his stomache to the waist of his pants. Atemu pulled back from the kiss to look into her eyes with his lust filled crimson ones. Then he moved his head down to her neck in order to start kissing the tender flesh there and earning a gasp from her.
Tea traced the skin along the waistline of his pants to receive a small moan from him. Then she reached even further down and cupped him firmly through his pants causing him to let out a loud moan and growl deep in the back of his throat. Atemu let his hand move from her stomache, up under her shirt to cup one of her breasts and gently massage it as she gasped and arched into him, nearly causing Atemu to lose control over his body and take her then. Still, he struggled not to lose control and take it slow.
Now he was trying to take it slow, but Tea wasn't. She reached up to the button of his leather pants and undid it, and then pulled the zipper down, allowing Atemu's aching erection to spring free. This caused him to gasp loudly and squeeze a bit harder on her breast. He couldn't take it. Atemu leaned up into a sitting position, pulling Tea with him, and quickly undid her shirt and pulled it off leaving her topless, and to his pleasured surprise, bra less as well.
They each quickly undressed and after only a moment, they were both completely naked and quite impressed with the other. Atemu was reaching for Tea again to push her gently back to the couch when she reached out and pushed him onto his back on the couch. Atemu was a bit confused but allowed her to dominate. He laid back and let her touch him. Her warm and soft hands travelling over his taught stomache and down to his hard member, but she didn't touch him, much to the disappointment of Atemu. Instead she moved her body down his legs a bit more and leaned down so her mouth was directly over the head of his cock, blowing on it gently.
Atemu's eyes widened as he jerked and took in the flushed, lusty look on her face. His whole body shook with anticipation as he watched her lower her mouth to his aching cock. Slowly, she ran her tongue over the head, quickly slipping into the pre-cum filled slit on it, and continuing on down over the top of the base. She didn't think she would be able to take all of his huge, and thick cock into her mouth, but she was going to try. She quickly slipped her head down, amazingly being able to take him all in. He couldn't help but buck his hips up towards the inviting warmth that was her mouth. His head flying back and a loud, pleasure filled growl making it's way past his tightly closed lips. His whole body was shaking with tension and pleasure now as her head slowly bobbed up and down. He needed her and didn't want to wait or play around, so he gently grasped her arms and brought her flush against him so he could kiss her deeply, surprised and even more aroused to tast a hint of his essence in her mouth.
Tea was surprised and a bit disappointed but sensed he wouldn't last much longer and she wanted him in her, so she returned the kiss and moved her body so that his cock pressed against her wet lips. As she deepened the kiss, she slowly pressed forward, pushing his cock into her, and causing him to break the kiss to throw his head back to moan loudly and she could sense he was using every bit of his strength not to buck up and drive himself deeper into her.
Tea leaned back into a sitting position and looked into his wide, pleaure hazed eyes, and she quickly pressed down so that her body engulfed his cock completely as he screamed in pleasure, his body jerking up into that welcome, tight heat and she threw her head back and also cried out in pleasure as she felt her virgin barrier break with the force on the entry. She knew it was supposed to hurt, but it didn't. It felt amazing! She felt complete and loved how he filled her. His hot, thick shaft stretching her inner walls.
They stayed like that for a moment, not moving. Atemu looked up at Tea with half-lidded lust filled eyes, and Tea looked back with the same look on her face before leaning down and kissing him deeply, both the movement and the kiss causing him to moan softly. He reached up and gently put his hands around her waist to pull her flush against him as he slowly began pumping into her, the movement causing tremendous pleasure in both of them, and causing them both to moan in extacy. Tea leaned forward and kissed him deeply again as he drove into her, slowly increasing the pace. The kiss was heated and they both moaned into it as they both slowly got closer to the edge. Tea began driving herself down, impaling herself deeper on his thick cock and feeling his body shake at the sansation. It felt so good to have him moving inside her. She closed her eyes and moved faster and harder causing him to grunt and gasp as his breathing became ragged and he returned the moves with the same passion.
Atemu was so close, he could feel the knot of tension growing in his stomache as he neared the edge, but tried to hold back in order to try and give her the same pleasure he was feeling. He slowly leaned forward and kissed the side of her neck as she tilted her head to the side and groaned. She ran her hands up and down his shaking stomache and occassionally dragged her nails across it to gain a ragged gasp from him when she did. He was losing it, getting closer by the second. He moved even more roughly into her and moved his mouth up for one final, heart-searing kiss as they both reached the edge.
Tea brought herself up and almost right off his cock, and then roughly pushed herself back down, gasping as she hit her orgasm and felt her body clenching his cock and milking it for every drop it had.
Atemu again screamed in pleasure as he fell over the edge with her, feeling the walls of her entrance squeeze him so hard it almost hurt, and feeling the hot, sticky jets of his passion shooting into her as his entire body felt like it was on fire. He pumped into her one last time and she fell against him, both of them panting and resting, enjoying the aftermath of what they had just done. It had been amazing.
The former pharaoh was still laying on the couch with Tea laying on top of him, both of them a sticky mess, but he never wanted to move. He felt so warm and comfortable. She had her head on his shoulder and was shaking fron the force of her orgasm, but she shakily lifted her head to look him in the eyes, and leaned forward for a gentle kiss. This Atemu returned with ease, and when she pulled back, he whispered "I love you" to her. Tea smiled and leaned forward so that their lips were just millimetres apart and said "I love you too Atemu. More than you'll ever know." before she leaned forward and kissed him again, this kiss more passionate. They stayed like that for the rest of the night, eventually falling asleep in each other's arms.
(LEMON ends)
~Later that morning at Tea's house~
Tea woke up with a dull ache in her lower body. She felt herself lying on a warm surface and raised her head to come face-to-face with a sleeping Atemu. The memories of what they did suddenly came rushing into her mind making her blush. That was amazing and she didn't regret one moment of it. She carefully leaned forward and gave him a slight kiss on the lips, trying not to wake him up. Then a shiver overtook her body as she realized just how cold she was. She looked up sheepishly, knowing she'd have to wake him up.
She figured that using the mind link was usually the most effective way to wake him, so she carefully got up off him, still not waking him up, and went to the bathroom for a nice hot shower. Once she was inside and had finished cleaning herself, she opened her link and called Atemu to wake up. A moment later, she got a sleepy response asking where she was, so she sent him an image of her in the shower, and immediately felt the stirring of his lust as he said he'd be right up.
True to his word, he was in the room only a moment later staring at her with crimson eyes filled with love. She looked right back and loved how he looked. He stood inside the door, completely naked, and he seemed so confident. It made her blush which caused him to smile at her and move closer.
"A shower hmmm? I could use one too. Mind if I join you?" He didn't even wait for an answer, he pulled the transparent curtains back and hopped in with her. Then he turned and pulled her close to him, with his hands around her waist, and he leaned forward to kiss her gently. Tea blushed even brighter as she returned it and and felt him beginning to harden against her. She would have deepened the kiss, but she remembered that they needed to meet the others soon at the park. Atemu caught her thoughs and the disappointment that coursed through her body. He just pulled back and smiled at her, telling her that they had plenty of time for that later. She returned his smile and made him turn around to she could wash his back. Atemu did as she told him and was almost purring at the gentle attention he was getting. He closed his eyes and relaxed as she rubbed his lower back, washing him and at the same time massaging him. He felt like he was in heaven.
Tea caught his thoughts and smiled. She felt to happy to be able to make him feel so good. She leaned forward and lightly kissed the side of his neck as she moved her hands around his waist, letting them sit low on his hips, almost brushing his semi-hard cock, and he moaned in response. They finished their shower and hesitently went back downstairs to get dressed, then went to get something to eat and get ready to go. They had a long day ahead of them before they could get back to Tea's place and be alone. Still...before they left...Tea had something to say to him. "You know Atemu...You never did explain why you took so long to get to my place." She smiled. Teana who had been listening in laughed at her comment. Tea sure seemed to know what to say to make him blush. Atemu turned to look at her before blushing and bursting out laughing. His rich, deep laughter making her wish they could stay home as a bunch of naughty thoughts rushed across her mind. Thankfully, those were private. She wanted to be able to surprise him later. He looked her in the eyes after collecting his breath, smirked and said "I'll tell you tonight love." causing her to blush at his new name for her. Together they left for the park to meet their friends.

/Yugi to Atemu/ ~Scene Change~
to Tea[Flashbacks]
//Tea to Atemu//
