Chapter 1: *Realization Hits.* (Prologue)

Summary: In the year 3010, the world hit a technological

era and robots make up the population on earth. Humans no longer linger on Earth now because in 2996 the Ozone layer exploded killing off billions.

Not to long after that, the most brilliant scientists in the world

devised a plan to get to the nearest planet possible, for Earth was inhabitable now. Luckily the closest planet was Mars. Most people still had their doubts though about this sudden migration to an unknown territory. But the after math of the explosion polluted the air, making it 90% carbon dioxide and 10% oxygen. At this rate it would be not too long before living organisms on Earth would die.

So the scientists turned to the only man with the current technology at the time to make these frighten revelations come true. Pegasus J. Crawford. He was a brilliant, but sadistic man. He was currently a nation enemy, for his crime was cloning humans with intent of violence, a federal crime. Now don*t get me wrong technology at the time was way past cloning just common sheep, but we had not perfected the system yet on such complex species as humans, so the clones were not perfect, some had unchangeable defects and others were an empty shell basically immobile and useless.

With the knowledge of his formulating army, the government quickly stepped in and dismantled it. Pegasus was then put on trail and found guilty; Of cloning humans with a violent intent and murder of the 1st degree, he had savagely killed his lab assistant just so he could study his genetic code.

So being found guilty of such serious crimes he was sent to an under ground freezing prison .Where his punishment was to be frozen for 300 years. People did not want to just lock people up like animals and throw away the key. So they froze them for a certain period of time until they could be a productive member of society again. Now this was effective greatly, but Pegasus was a mad man and would always be one, he was incurable as they say.

But in just a month Earth*s oxygen would cease and the human race as we know it would not survive. So government officials went down to his freezing chamber #666 and awakened the *former* madman. It took a week to totally thaw out his internal organs and brain stem so he could function properly. During this time they devised plans on how to ask Pegasus to help them. Before the week was up they had found a highly effective way. They would cut his time in half, he had already served 10 years by now, so if he helped he would only serve 145 years.

When the week was up Pegasus seemed to have completely recovered. He was less hostile and he seemed totally changed. The government officials thought he was cured. Oh how wrong they were if anything the freezing time made him more hostile. Pegasus like I said was a genius and he was on to their plan even before the week of thawing was over. In his sick twisted mind he had already formulated a plan after they arrived on Mars.

So when they asked him and told him the incentive if he helped, he greatly accepted with unnerving gratitude .The reason for the urgent use of Pegasus is because he owned a company called *Industrial Illusions.* Its technology was a crucial part of the move to mars. Pegasus* company had the technology to travel at the speed of light with the use of plasma cannons. They upon Pegasus* capture took all of his inventions to a secret laboratory, but knowing how to operate them was another story.

In 3 weeks time they got every who was not killed in the explosion in the spacecraft, equipped with plasma cannons on the back.

It was just in time to because Earth*s oxygen supply was completely depleted by the very next day.

The trip only took only about a week thanks to the plasma cannons, but its passengers on the spacecraft were anxious and worried. Who was already there? Some thought, various questions of that nature popped into their heads. All was relieved because when they got there it looked tranquil and beautiful. Everything was going great until one night Pegasus mysterious disappeared. Everyone was scared, but the police assured them Pegasus was long dead. Who could survive out here alone? They thought hastily. I guess they did*t know Pegasus that well now did they?

Pegasus had a few tricks up his selves. First and foremost he had to fix the cloning process and regain his former `glory'. But people really did believe Pegasus was dead they did*t hear from him in a while, so how would he still be alive?

Pegasus was alive as you and I are and we will know he*s alive in 7years when a mysterious violet-eyed boy wonders in to the colonies. Unexplainable.
