3 Ryou :
After a long day at school, you are happy to hear the last bell right. As you get to your locker you are surprised to Ryou waiting for you.
“Hey…” He says weakly as he sees you approach. You wonder what he might want but decide to just say hi for now and are sure you will soon find out what it is he wants. “So Teji… I was hoping maybe you’d like to go with me and the gang to a movie tonight… if you aren’t too busy that is.” He adds in quickly.
You think for a second trying to figure out if you had time, “Well… I have a photo shoot after school until 6:00, but if you want to go after that…”
“Really?” Ryou says with a huge grin on his face, “That’s perfect! I can meet you at your shoot when it’s done and we can head over to the movie. It doesn’t start until 7:30 so maybe you’d let me take you somewhere to eat?”
For once you smile and you cant help it, there is just something you like about Ryou and somehow you cant help but wonder what your life would have been like this year if you hadn’t met him. This in return causes Ryou to glow with happiness.
*Ryou’s POV*
I cant help but feel an overwhelming amount of happiness! Teji is smiling and it’s for me! For me and no one else! I hope tonight goes well… I really care about her and if nothing else I want us to at least be good friends!
*Normal POV*
You go to you photo shoot which seemed to last forever, you find your self counting down the minutes until you can see your white haired friend. ‘I’m going soft…’ you think to yourself but at the same time you’re happy that it is at least for a sweetie like Ryou.
Speaking of Ryou, you notice him standing next to the photographer who is switching lens. You two meet eyes and you cant help but let out the truest smile you have ever smiled be for. Of cores he smiles back and you can feel a surge of pure joy go through you.
Shortly after the shoot is done, you change back into your ‘date’ clothes which consists of a red T-shirt and a nice white skirt, and a pair of white flip flops, and might I add this is not your normal style.
You quickly find Ryou excited to go out to eat with him. But deep down you are somewhat nervous because you have never been on a real date be for.
As promised, Ryou takes you to a cute pizza dinner, “This was always my favorite place to eat,” he explains, “when my father was around…he used to take me.”
You couldn’t help but hear the pain in his voice and for some reason it hit you hard. Not knowing what you could do to make him feel better, you reach across the table and grab his hand. You know it’s not much, but you hope that it will show him that you are really there for him.
He smiles at you, “I’m glad we met.” He says slightly blushing.
“Me too…” You say with an equally as big smile.
After the delicious meal, it’s time to meet up with the ‘gang’. You leave the pizza place hand in hand and you tend to keep it that way. You happen to like the warmth of Ryou’s hand in yours and he seems to enjoy it as well.
Once everyone is at the movies, you all decide to see “Stay Alive”, a scary move that if you die in the game, you die in real life.
You decide to sit on the end, letting Ryou sit next to you and Yugi. Scary movies don’t rile you up so you are calm during the whole thing… Ryou on the other hand seems a bit jumpy. You give his hand a small squeeze to reassure him and he smiles at you and you can feel your heart skip a beat. In your mind you know, Ryou is the one you want to be with.
