Symphony of Ragnarok

Voice: "You may begin!"

Neo: "I'll equip myself with three Axes of Despair and now I'll attack with Molten Fireball!"

Neo launches a fireball of immense power at Kaiba.

Kaiba: "I activate Reverse trap! Now you just lost 600 of your 3000 Life Points!"

Neo: "I have no choice but to activate Royal Decree which keeps you from playing any and all Trap Cards, and then play Polymerization! I fuse myself with the Dark Magician King! And I shall become The Dark Magician's Pet Dragon! Now I'll attack with Forbidden Magic of the Dragons!"

Neo's staff charges a spell at its tip, the spell itself is an ancient forbidden spell, one that uses the power of Dragons and Spell casters, and then with a flick of his staff, Kaiba is engulfed in black flames.

Neo: "I really didn't want to have to use that so soon in the tournament, but you left me with no choice."

Kaiba: "B-But why!?"

Neo: "I need to win this tournament because I'm going to use the prize money to buy back all my shares in my father's company."

Kaiba: "Now why would you want to do that?"

Neo: "You cut my salary so that I'm only making one fourth of what you do, when we're supposed to be partners, and on top of that those assholes you put in charge won't let me make any new cards!"

Kaiba: "Well if you would actually make cards that I could use I'd let you make as many cards as you wanted!"

Neo: "That you can use!? Excuse me, but I make cards that everyone can enjoy, like my father did! And if you think that I'm going to sit back and make cards just for you, than you're more fucked up than I thought."

Kaiba: "I'm fucked up!? You're the one who's obsessed with a weak and pathetic dragon!"

Neo: "Its that weak and pathetic dragon that helped me to beat you!"

Voice: "Will you please clear the arena? The next match is about to begin!"

Neo: "We'll finish this later Kaiba!"

Neo and Kaiba leave the arena, which Yugi and Katie are now entering.

Yugi: "Just because you're my sister doesn't mean I won't go easy on you!"

Katie: "Who said I wanted you too!"

Voice: "Begin!"

Katie: "I'll equip myself with three Books of Spell, and two Axes of Despair!"

Yugi: "Well, I'll play Dark Magic Ritual! Which will allow me to become the Chaos Mage!"

Katie: "Well, that won't save you, because I have 4900 attack points! That's 2001 more than you! So I will now attack you with Burning Magic!"

Katie launches a red orange ball of magical energy at Yugi, who is defenseless, knocking him down to 999 Life Points.

Yugi: "GAH! I now play Reborn the Monster! And I restore myself to my Dark Magician form! And I now play Polymerization, and I fuse myself with the Buster Blader! Allowing me to become the almighty Dark Paladin!"

Katie: "I'll play Polymerization and fuse myself with the Blue-Eyes White Dragon! Which makes me into the Dragon's Mistress!"

Katie's new appearance is that of a Dark Magician Girl wearing white armor which has been made to look like dragon scales, with a cape made to look like a dragon's wings, a helmet with the symbol from the Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragon's forehead on it, she also has a white whip made from the shed skin of a Blue-Eyes White Dragon and a shield made from the skull of a Red-Eyes Black Dragon.

Yugi: "Katie! Where'd you get such a monster from!?"

Katie: "From my fiancée who else."

Katie then turns towards Neo and blows him a kiss, which causes Neo to blush.

Neo: `Great, she made me blush! Wait a second! Can dragons even blush?'

Yugi: "Can we get back to our match?"

Katie: "Of course. I now attack with Dragonic Lashes!"

Katie's whip glows, followed by a thousand lashes, which leaves Yugi on the ground in pain.

Voice: "Cease! The winner is Katie! For the final round we will change the arena!"

After Katie leaves the arena, it changes from a plain metal slab into a beautiful meadow full of beautiful wildflowers, all in full bloom.

Neo: Great, we went from a dull depressing arena that I didn't mind fighting in, to a beautiful one that I don't want to fight in."

Katie: "Whats the matter, afraid you'll lose to your future wife?"

Neo: <gasp>

Yugi: "Whats wrong Neo?"

Neo: "No-nothing, its nothing, I just thought I felt something." `I can't let them know that I actually sensed a dark, foreboding presence.'

Voice: "Please enter the arena!"

Neo and Katie enter the arena side by side.

Voice: "For the final round you may choose one monster and start the match as that monster without having to summon it."

Neo: "If that's the case, I'll choose to enter this match as the Red-Eyes Ultimate Dragon!"

Suddenly Neo has a flashback to when he and Katie first met…

Neo: "Hey."

`Katie stiffened. She knew it was my voice.'

Katie: "H-h-hey."

`She said that after turning to look at me.'

Neo: "Why aren't you with the others?"

Katie: "I…um…well that is… um…"

Neo: "It's okay. Come on. We can walk together."

Katie: "O-okay."

`Katie said that as she got up and started walking with me.'

Katie: "Neo? Neo!? NEO, SNAP OUT OF IT!"

Neo comes out of his daze that he was in from the flashback he was having.

Neo: "What is it, Katie?"

Katie: "I chose the Dragon's Mistress as my form for this match. What do you think?"

Neo blushes when asked that question and then gives his answer…

Neo: "I like that look on you."

Katie: "Really?"

Neo: "Yeah, and for some reason I never gave you that Dragon's Mistress costume I bought you."

Katie: `Is he horny? Wait! Can dragons even get horny?'

Neo: `Good, she thinks I'm horny, now's my time to strike!' "ULTIMATE DARK FLAME STREAM!"

Neo launches three streams of black fire at Katie, who is showing a look of pure terror on her face.

Katie: "FUCK!"

Katie switches defense mode right before the attack hits in order to protect herself from it.

Katie: "That all you got?"

Katie goes back to attack mode and goes for Neo.

Neo: `FUCK! She gains 500 attack points for each Dark Magician or Dark Magician Girl in either graveyard, and I had to put one of my three Dark Magicians in the graveyard!'

Katie: "DRAGONIC LASHES!"

Katie attacks Neo, taking away 200 of his Life Points.

Neo: "Not bad, my turn! I play Polymerization so that I may fuse my self with Valkyrion the Magna Warrior! This makes me into… The Master of Red-Eyes Ultimate!"

Katie: "What… the… fuck?"

Neo: "I now remove five dragons from my deck and graveyard from play, which will increase my attack by 500 points for each card I remove from play! Therefore, I now have an attack of 7500! I now attack you with… DRAGON'S WRATH!"

Neo begins to charge his attack, all three of his heads into the air, where he focuses his energy into an attack: A huge ball of Black Flame, and once its at full power, Neo releases it upon Katie, who is so scared that she can't move, for she is petrified with terror, and when the attack hits, she is left with a mere 500 Life Points, scorched armor, and tears that can be seen streaming down her face…

Neo: "I'm sorry Katie, but I have to win…"

Katie: "That's okay… I'm just a little shaken up from that last attack."

Neo: "Really? I'm sorry…"

Katie: "What for?"

Neo: "For this! DRAGON'S WRATH!"

Katie: "WHA!?"

Voice: "Cease… The winner is… NEO!"

Neo and his friends begin to celebrate his victory when their celebration is interrupted by clapping, which is accompanied by a mysterious, eerie voice emanating from the shadows, which gets closer and closer, until finally the mysterious figure steps out of the shadows, revealing himself to be none other than Marik Ishtar.

Marik: "Very good, Neo, you may have been able to beat them one at a time, but how about all of my friends and me at the same time?"

Neo: "Marik! What do you want this time!?"

Katie: `That look on Neo's face, I've never seen him look so determined. Wait, that look in his eyes, it's not determination, its anger!'

Marik: "Why I want my revenge on you of course!"

Suddenly, several duelists step out of the shadows and join Marik at his side.

Neo: "Weevil Underwood, Rex Raptor, Gozaburo Kaiba, The Big Five, and Odion! These are your friends!?"

Marik: "You're right. I don't need them!"

Marik's eyes suddenly begin to glow, and his body begins to tremble, and then twist and disfigure itself, into The Winged Dragon of Ra.

Marik: "Now all I need are some attack points!"

With one swift swipe of his claw, Marik destroys Weevil, Gozaburo, and Rex, and when he does so their attack powers are added to his life points.

Marik: `Now I'll just take those Life Points I just gained and use them to give myself some real power! So I now have 7,218 attack AND defense points!'

Joey: "Okay, that's just plain freaky, even for Marik!"

Yugi: "Bring it on, Marik!"

Marik: "Not quite yet, pharaoh!"

Neo: "Whatever you're planning Marik, it won't work! I won't let it!"

Marik: "We'll see about that sorcerer!"

Marik pulls out his Millennium Rod and raises it into the air.

Marik: "Lets see if you like my new trick!"

Marik smashes the end of his Millennium Rod's handle into the ground, sending out lightning bolts that strike Yugi and Katie.

Neo: "KATIE!"

Neo begins to run towards Katie to see if she's alright when he is suddenly, he is struck by a lightning bolt. Neo, Yugi and Katie are now lying unconscious in their human forms.

Joey: "Yug! Wake up!"

Yami: "What happened… YUGI!"

Neo: "Oh my head… Who the fuck are you? And why do you look like me? Wait, are you… Sebek?"

Sebek: "Yes, and I am as perplexed as you are, I'm not quite certain as to how this is possible."

Neo: "Okay, why is it you have a British accent when you're an ancient spirit from Egypt?"

Sebek: "What the bloody hell are you talking about?"

Yugi and Katie are now coming to as well, awakening to the sight of their `other selves' hovering over them.

Yugi: "Yami? But how?"

Yami: "I'm guessing it has something to do with the Millennium Rod."

Katie: "What? Ok, who put this mirror in front of me? It's not funny!"

Shait: "I am no mere reflection, Katie, it is I, Shait."

Marik: "Now for the real fun too begin! If I destroy you in this world, you will return to your body in the real world! However, in the case of Neo, Sebek, Yugi, Yami, Katie, and Shait, if I destroy the `other you', they will gain total control of your body, trapping you in here! However, since I am in the mood for a Shadow Game, the rules will be as follows. If I destroy you, you die immediately, but if Neo destroys you, you'll be returned to your body in the real world!"

Neo: "Well, looks like we need to choose new forms you guys, I'm going to go with… Hey! Half my deck is gone!"

Sebek: "I must have the other half, I'll choose the Dark Magician King!"

Sebek's appearance is now that of the Dark Magician King, who looks like a Dark Magician wearing a silver robe with black trim, his staff is silver with a black diamond in the end of it, his hair is short and blonde, and his hat is silver with a magical gem called the King's Ruby set in the center right above his forehead.

Neo: "Then I'll choose the Red-Eyes Black Dragon!"

Katie: "I'll choose the Dark Magician Girl!"

Shait: "And I'll choose the Dark Magician Queen!"

Shait's appearance is now that of the Dark Magician Queen, who looks like a Dark Magician Girl wearing a red robe with gold trim, her staff is red with a sapphire in the end of it, her hair is long and brown, and her hat is gold and like the Dark Magician King it has a mystical gem called the Queen's Heart set in the center of it.

Marik: "Pathetic! Out of all the monster's at your disposal you chose your weakest ones!"

Neo: "Not so fast Marik! I still have a Polymerization left! And I'm using it!"

Sebek: "On who?"

Neo: "On us. I fuse myself with Sebek!"

Marik: "Too bad, because there are now Fusion Gates open in this world, and those are the only way that you can fuse together! I'll give you three minutes to find one and then return in, after that I'll start destroying your friends! Starting with… Katie and Shait."

Neo: "C'mon Sebek! I can fly so that will make things go a little faster!"

Sebek: "Right!"

Sebek jumps onto Neo's back and they fly up into the sky in search of a Fusion Gate.

Neo: "Now if we only knew what to look for…"

Sebek: "Maybe something like that?"

Sebek points towards a huge gate with filled with a black swirling energy.

Neo: "Yeah, that might be it."

Sebek: "Well, lets go. We only have 1 minute and 30 seconds left!"

Neo: "Right."

Neo goes into a nose dive towards the gate, and when they hit it, Neo and Sebek fuse together to become the Dark Magician's Pet Dragon, a huge black dragon that through the use of magic was hatched from an egg of pure evil, and because it was raised by the Dark Magician it has its own staff, made from a very rare yet powerful crystal called the Dragon's Blood Ruby, a staff capable of harnessing the power of dragon's and combine it with magic, when it's master died, it devoured his soul and gained his power, along with his memories, and according the legends surrounding the Dark Magician's Pet Dragon when Neo came across it in hieroglyphs, it searches to this day searching for a new master, but to no avail.

Neo: `Fuck! I've only got a minute left! Oh well, here goes.'

Neo takes flight once more, this time towards Marik, who is about to strike at Katie and Shait, that is, until Marik is hit with a fireball powerful enough to take off his arm.

Marik: "Who dares to attack me!?"

Katie and Shait: "It's Neo and Sebek!"

Neo: "You said three minutes, and that was 2 minutes and 50 seconds ago!"

Marik: "Fine, I guess I'll just have to kill you instead!"

Neo: `He doesn't know what I am does he?'

Marik: "PREPARE TO FEEL THE WRATH OF THE WINGED DRAGON OF RA!"

Neo: "I don't think so! FORBIDDEN MAGIC OF THE DRAGONS!"

Neo and Marik's attacks clash, until Neo's finally breaks through, and hits Marik, returning him to his human form.

Marik: "NO! IMPOSSIBLE!"

Neo then follows suit and returns to his human form as well.

Neo: "Okay, Marik, let everybody go, and I'll take you on, one on one in my own Shadow Game."

Marik: "Very well."

Neo: "We will both choose a monster from our deck."

Marik: "I'll choose the Winged Dragon of Ra."

Neo: "I choose my Red-Eyes Black Dragon. We will now fight each other and use the attack power of our monsters to determine how much stamina we have, and the defense power to determine how often we can block, each time we block we use up 100 defense points, after our defense points are gone each hit we take robs us of ten attack points, and when we're out of attack points, we die."

Marik: "I think I like the idea of this Shadow Game."

Neo and Marik's monsters appear behind them with a blinding flash, after Neo creates a Pocket Shadow Realm for his Shadow Game, Neo and Marik's clothes have now changed to mimic the appearance of the monsters that they chose, Neo's clothes have now taken on the appearance of black armor with wings and a tail, while Marik's clothes took on the appearance of gold armor with huge wings and a helmet shaped like the head of the Winged Dragon of Ra.

Neo: "I can take 240 hits, add that to the 20 times I'm allowed block, and I can take 260 hits."

Marik: "I have no attack or defense points! So I guess I automatically lose."

Neo: "You are allowed to choose a number between 0 and 3000."

Marik: "I choose 3000!"

Neo: "Now, we'll flip a coin to decide where that 3000 points will go, heads, its your attack, tails, its your defense."

Marik: "What if the coin lands on its edge?"

Neo: "Then the 3000 is split up evenly between your attack and your defense."

Neo: "I'm goin to flip the coin three times now, and whichever one it comes up as the most, is where your 3000 points will go."

Neo flips the coin once, the result is Tails, Neo flips it again, the result is Heads, and when Neo flips it the third time, the result is Tails.

Neo: "Looks like you just gained 3000 defense points, thats 30 times you can block a hit, too bad. Oh, by the way Marik, we've started."

Marik: "Fine then…"

Marik runs and punches Neo causing Neo to turn his head with the punch.

Neo: "That all ya got Marik? Katie hits harder than you."

Marik, enraged by Neo's comment begins to pummel Neo without a sign of mercy, he gets Neo with a right hook to the jaw, followed by a straight left to his chin, followed by a flurry of punches to Neo's gut.

Neo: "Humph…."

Marik: "What!?"

Neo: "Like I said, Katie hits harder than you."

Marik goes for Neo again with a right hook, but this time Neo grabs Marik's hand, and crushes it.

Marik: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH! MY HAND! WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY HAND?"

Neo: "The same thing I'm going to do to your face."

Marik: "What?"

Neo: "THIS!"

Neo goes on the offensive, hitting Marik with a series of jabs to his face, followed by an ax kick to the back of Marik's head, knocking him to the ground.

Neo: "C'mon, get up, Marik. It's no fun to kill you if you're on the ground."

Marik: `Why? Why does it so much?'

Neo: "I'm not going to ask you again… Get… Up… NOW!"

Marik, rises to his feet but is quickly taken back down by Neo due to a swift kick to his stomach.

Marik: "Why? Why are you doing this?"

Marik is now back on his feet, his right hand is bloody and broken, while his left arm is completely shattered.

Neo: "You want to know why? Its because you're scum, and scum doesn't deserve to live!"

Marik: `That look in his eyes! Its as if he can peer into my very soul, and I into his, but if he is truly on the side of good, then why do I feel as if I'm looking into the eyes of the Diablo himself!?"

Marik is now trembling in fear, for he knows that his end is near…

Neo: "Now to finish this!"

Neo is now wielding a katana and just as he's about to use it to kill Marik, Noah steps in…

Noah: "Stop Neo! If you do this you'll be no better than him, trust me, I know… I've been down that road before myself."

Neo, dropping his katana admits to Noah that he's right, and puts an end to the Shadow Game… Marik, still on his feet runs for Neo, with his Millennium Rod in hand as if to attempt to behead Neo, in an act of desperation, Neo grabs his katana and with one swift slash, takes Marik's head clean off…

Neo: "Its over…"

* * * *

Meanwhile, unbeknownst to Neo, Marik has just emerged from his VR unit, to find all of Neo's friends still a bit groggy, it is now that Marik decides to get his revenge… By rendering all but Katie unconscious…

Katie: "Stay away from me!"

Marik: "But there'd be no fun in that now would there my dear?"

When Katie makes an attempt to run for it, Marik grabs her by the arm and beats her to a pulp, and he's finished just in time for Neo to see it, no sooner was Neo back in the real world, he saw all his friends lie motionless, unharmed otherwise, but the moment he saw Marik holding his beloved by the throat, Neo snapped…

Neo: "What did you to her you bastard!"

Marik: "I merely left her alive enough so that the last thing she'll ever see is you dying by my hands, and I feel that the best way to kill you will be by slowly squeezing the life out of you."

Neo runs at Marik who drops Katie to the floor, and punches him in the face so hard that his hand goes numb, and Marik is forced to spit out five teeth…

Neo: "I will kill you for what you did to Katie."

Marik: "Well, then bring it on… If you've got the balls to do it!"
