Chapter 5; The Wild Gang

Me: Okay everyone it's time for the chapter of the A-Holes. I called it that because this chapter is filled to the brink with A-Holes. Like Yuki I have also have some major demons AKA A-Holes who tormented me in school. So writing this chapter was a little painful. Also in the manga this was a two parter, but I decided to combine the two chapters.

Joey's Girl- If you think Miho is cool now, you're going to love her in later chapters because… well let me put it this way, Yuki can be bit of an influence without even knowing it. ^_-

Me: On with the fic!

It was a perfectly normal day for Yuki Moto. She ran out of her house with a cream cheese covered bagel in her mouth as usual. She went to school, nothing out of the ordinary there. Finally she said hi to everyone as always. But something was missing; Joey was absent from school that day and Tristan was freaking out.

"Girls we have to solve this mystery! You're not going to believe me but Joey has never missed school!"

"You're right. I don't believe you." Said Miho

"Do you know what's going on with him Tristan?"

"Nah I haven't heard from him at all. Why don't we got to his place after school."

The girls nodded their heads.

After school Yuki and Miho met up with Tristan and talked as they went to Joey's apartment.

"So Tristan, you've known Joey since Middle School?"

"Yeah but I've only been to his place once. If I'm right it's on the third floor."

The three went up the stairs and stopped in front of a door that had a name plate that had the name Wheeler with the first two letters and the third E missing.

They opened the door slightly and looked around.

"We're just looking." Said Yuki

In that instant a bottle of beer smashed against the door, scaring Yuki, Tristan, and Miho half to death.

"Hey you hic brat! Where hic have you hic been the last hic two days!" shouted a man who was obviously more drunk then a hobo.

No sooner did they hear the voice, Tristan, Yuki, and Miho ran like they never ran before.

"That was scary." Said Miho

"Um Tristan was that…?"

"Yeah that was Joey's dad. He's been like that forever. That's why Joey never has friends over."

"Well Joey isn't home, his dad said he hasn't been home for two days." Said Miho

"Well let's stop babbling and let's start looking for him!" shouted Yuki

All of them spent the entire day looking for Joey all over Domino but with no luck.

"It's no good we've check out all his usual hang-outs." Said Miho

"Now I'm starting to get worried." Said Yuki

Tristan placed his hands on the shoulders of both girls, although he had to resist the temptation with Miho.

"Come on girls I'm sure Joey will be back tomorrow and we can put this whole day behind us."

Of course before they could take another step, they heard shouting at a near-by store.

Yuki, Miho, and Tristan hid behind a small sign and saw a bunch of punks wearing gray uniforms hurting some innocent guy.

"Oh crud that's Rintama's uniform." Said Tristan

"Who's Rintama?" asked Miho

"Rintama is…"

But Tristan interrupted by Yuki.

"…One of the toughest and brutal schools in Japan."

Miho and Tristan stared at Yuki.

"How did you know?"

"In the past year I've been to 4 schools. Rintama was the last one I went to before I went to here. It was a nightmare there. I can't count how many bruises I received before I got kicked out."

"Oh Yuki."

"Come on Yuki if you don't want to be near those guys we'll leave."

Yuki slightly smiled, "Thanks Tristan. I wouldn't go near those guys even if… Joey's there!"

Tristan and Miho were confused at Yuki's sudden outburst but understood when they saw Joey with the Rintama punks.

"Why is he hanging out with those punks from Rintama!?" asked Tristan

Tristan, Miho, and Yuki watched as Joey was starting to walk away.

"Come on Joey let's go to our place. It's called "J'Z" you'll like it"

Yuki ran to the punks.

"Joey!"

Joey turned around and looked at Yuki like he never met her before.

"Joey it's me! Also why are you hanging out with those… poor excuses for human beings!"

"Poor excuses for human beings eh? You know this cutie Joey?" Asked a guy wearing glasses.

"Nah never seen her."

Just then a guy with a short high ponytail came up to Joey.

"Heh, you're too kind Joey, letting cute girls like that follow you around. You should've gone to Rintama at the start"

At the mere sight of the guy, Tristan grew worried.

`That's Hirutani! Why's Joey hanging out with him again?!'

"Joey please come back! We were worried about you."

Then the glasses guy went to Hirutani.

"Hirutani, that girl is getting on my nerves. Joey said he didn't know her."

Without waiting for a response from anyone, the glasses guy punched Yuki right in the face and because of the rings he wore Yuki's cheek got really scratched up.

"Yuki!"

Tristan and Miho went to Yuki and glared at Joey.

"You jerk how could you just stand there as Yuki got hurt!?" asked Miho

Joey didn't reply, he only walked away.

Awhile later Yuki was placing a wet cloth on her cheek while Miho and Tristan sat next to her.

"I don't get it. Why would Joey do this?"

"I get it. You see during Middle School, Joey was in a gang. There was a time when he lived to fight with other gangs including high school ones. Joey had a long record and he was almost sent to jail. That was when he hung out with Hirutani. I used to look up to him, he used to look out for the younger guys and he'd never beat up weaker dudes. Err… what is his deal!? I'm starting to think we lost him."

`Tristan. Joey. It was because of the Millennium Puzzle that I became friends with them. Grandpa always told me to believe in faith.'

Yuki then smiled.

"Joey isn't gone. He would never hurt us like that."

Tristan brightened up at Yuki's statement.

"You're right. Let's go get our friend back! One of those punks said they were going to a place called "J'Z"."

Tristan, Yuki, and Miho hid near an alley and saw a gang member.

"Damn, where am I going to find those weird foreign cigarettes? Why can't Hirutani smoke a regular brand?"

Tristan somehow snuck behind the guy and tapped him on the shoulder.

"Yo."

Then Yuki and Miho watched Tristan beat the crap out of the punk.

"Alright spill it! Why is Joey hanging out with you punks!?"

"Hirutani's been bringing back members of his old gang. Even that jerk, Wheeler. But Wheeler refused at first. Hirutani was too smart for that so he gave Wheeler a threat. He said that if Wheeler didn't join, we'd pick off all his friends in Domino High, one by one. Heh, heh punk went as white as a sheet…"

"You jerk!" shouted Yuki

Yuki then placed a hard kick to the guy's "family jewels".

(A/N For those of you who don't know the "family jewels" is the place that makes a guy sound squeaky if he was kicked there.)

"Sorry rage took over." Said Yuki

Meanwhile with Joey, he was lounging around.

"Glad you joined us Joey. We'll have fun just like last time. We'll be feared all over Japan."

The Glasses Guy then went to Hirutani with a cigarette.

"Excuse me Hirutani. But I noticed that you did not have a cigarette, take mine."

As Joey watched he thought, `That ladies and gentlemen is a genuine ass kisser and Hirutani is the ass.'

The Glasses Guy saw how Joey was looking at him.

"What's wrong Joey? Something on my face? You wanna play house with the twerpette?"

Joey stood up and faced the Glasses Guy.

"No way I'm letting that pass!"

With that Joey gave the Glasses Guy a nasty uppercut to the jaw.

Soon Hirutani's gang crowded Joey and grabbed him by the arms.

"Glad to see that fire in your eyes again Joey but too bad it's directed at us. Well boys I think we should take Joey to the Torture Chamber!"

The bloodthirsty morons shouted with excitement and carried Joey out of the building by his ankles.

"Yuki we need to think of a plan." Said Miho

"I've already got a plan it's called "bust in there, kick some ass, and save Joey!"!"

Yuki then ran inside only to see the Glasses Guy bloody and unconscious on the floor. Yuki didn't wait for Miho and Tristan to get inside, she ran out of there in search of Joey immediately.

Somewhere in an abandoned warehouse, Joey was hanging a few inches off the ground by his wrists.

"Heh, heh I like this view Joey."

"Yeah I like this view too. Look it's "a red-assed boss monkey and his pack"!"

That comment only earned Joey a punch and knee kick to the gut.

`It was worth it.'

"Joey ever since Middle School, you've acted like you were my equal. Still nothing could stop us when we were together. Even High School gangs were afraid of us. We had plenty of people working for us. But the one thing I never manage to do was teach you this. I'm the boss, you'll always be second command."

"Of course. That's just what a boss monkey would think. Are you done yet? Well lemme tell you. I got a good memory. I remember all you jerks' faces, I remember how many time you each hit me. You know I keep a grudge, I'll pay you all back double."

Hirutani then chuckled.

"Don't worry this isn't even the main course. The next item on the menu will blow your mind."

Like cheap magicians, all the gang members pulled out tazers from their backs.

"These are 200,000 volt stun guns."

"When I flip this switch, the electricity comes on. When that happens, it's gonna blow your memories out of your head. And maybe your life too."

Before that idiot could do Hirutani's plan, Joey kicked the guy in the stomach and knocked him out.

"Bastard."

Three members got to Joey and Joey screamed out loud with sheer pain.

Back to Yuki she was wandering around trying to look for Joey, when she heard the scream.

"No Joey!"

Yuki sat down on the ground crying. Her tears landed on the Millennium Puzzle and then it showed her an image.

Metal barrels, a knocked out punk, a broken roof, and…

"Joey!"

Yuki then ran to the warehouse.

Joey was now reduced to twitching.

"Hey Hirutani, we can't talk anymore. He's just twitching now! Should we stop?"

"Do it!"

"But if we continue, he'll die."

"DO IT!"

"Stop!"

Hirutani and his cronies looked and saw Yuki with a different light to her eyes.

"What the?"

"Hirutani, it's only Joey's little bitch. If that's all the help, he's gonna get, then he's toast."

"Hey little girl this is our hangout! Not your shopping mall!"

The thug then punched Yuki into the tires.

"I hate those stereotypes." Muttered Yuki

Yuki then grabbed a small iron bar and put it under the knocked out guy's arm.

"Let's play a game."

"A game?" asked Hirutani

"Heh, heh. Haven't you figured it out yet? There's a time bomb hidden at your feet. And there's switch to that bomb as well. The bomb is just ticking by the seconds. The question is "Where's the switch?" If you find it, I'm yours to take. But if you don't find it, there's a penalty. The bomb will blow, taking you with it."

The thugs weren't impressed or scared.

"The chick is bluffing Hirutani. Little mouth is writing checks her body can't cash. But I'm sure she'll be lots of fun to "play with". Let's just stun her so we don't have to hold her down."

But it was now that Hirutani noticed something.

"Stop! Don't use the stun guns! I get her game. Her "switch" is the stun guns. She led here to the puddle. If we use the stun guns the 200,000 volts will get us. We found your "bomb" little girl. But don't worry, we don't need the stun guns for have fun with you."

Yuki smirked.

"But you didn't find the switch."

Just then everyone heard a moaning sound.

It was the punk that Joey kicked earlier.

"The switch is his arm! D-don't wake up!"

But the guy woke up and placed his tazer into the water. The last thing Hirutani saw was Yuki's smirk.

A few minutes later, Yuki untied Joey and tried to wake him up.

"Joey, Joey get up you bonehead."

Joey tilted his head slightly, he heard a voice. It sounded like it belonged to an angel. When Joey opened his eyes, he saw a pair of violet eyes. Instantly Joey remembered everything.

"Yuki!"

"Joey!"

The friends were now reunited.

It was Saturday night at the Moto house and Yuki, Miho, Tristan, and Joey were playing Karaoke Revolution on Yuki's PS2. Currently Joey was singing "One Week".

"Like Harrison Ford I'm getting frantic. Like Sting I'm tantric. Like Snickers guarantee to satisfy. Like Kurosawa I make mad films, K' I don't make films. But if I did they'd have a samurai… Lousy! Lousy! Gah!"

Yuki laughed at Joey's attempt to sing. Things were back to normal.

Me: Okay people I worked hard on this. I had to look at my Yu-Gi-Oh Volume 2 manga constantly to remember everything. Anyway R/R and I'll see ya soon.
