Author's note: This is the final chapter of the classic Yu-Gi-Crow series. The Crow is ready to seek revenge for Tea's kidnapping and the murder of Solomon and himself. This is a fight to the death you don't want miss.
Chapter 6:
Justice is Served
Detective Albrecht and the police were questioning witnesses at the club. the witnesses told them that a man dressed for Halloween threw Kemo right out the window of Kaiba's office. They even told the cops that they saw the mark of the crow on the jumbotron.
Mai and Joey were just leaving the club when they got an unexpected visitor.
"Greetings, ya'll," said a sourthen voice.
"Who are you?" asked Mai.
"I am the Skull Cowboy," Skull Cowboy replied.
"What the fuck are you supposed to be?" sweared Joey.
"Watch your mouth mutt or I'll knock you on your punk ass," threatened Skull Cowboy.
"Mutt!? Why I outta...," yelled Joey as he was restrained by Mai.
"You'll have to forgive Joey, he can be rude to strangers sometimes," said Mai.
"No harm done. I must tell you something," said Skull Cowboy.
"What?" asked Mai.
"Yugi and Tea are in danger," Skull Cowboy replied.
"Wha?" Mai asked.
"No way!" yelled Joey.
"We have no time for talk. We must hurray," said Skull Cowboy.
Skull Cowboy, Mai, and Joey left Heaven's Night to find Yugi and Tea while Albrecht followed them. Seto and Myca were at an abandoned warehouse. Seto bound Tea to a pole as Myca stared at Tea's deep blue eyes.
"Her eyes, they're so pretty and innocent," said Myca, flashing a crooked blade dagger. "I want her eyes."
"After I take care of Yugi, you can have her eyes," said Kaiba.
Tea wanted to scream but she couldn't because she was gagged. Myca smiled at Kaiba. The two kissed each other as the crow watched them from the rafters. Yugi used the crow's vision to see his beloved Tea, Kaiba, and Myca within the warehouse. Yami Yugi felt the wind whipping his hair as he got out of the car. The mark of the crow shined on his forehead and his eyes went red, Yami walked to the warehouse. Yami Yugi looked around the complex while listening to muffled screams. Yugi saw his beloved Tea, she oomphed to him that it was a trap.
"Kaiba!" screamed Yugi.
"Hello there Yugi. It's so nice to see you again," said Kaiba in a sarcastic tone.
"You better let her go or you die, Kaiba," said Yugi.
"I don't think so," said Kaiba coldly.
Kaiba removed his dress shirt and shifted himself into a fighting pose.
"Time to die Kaiba," said Yugi getting into a fighting pose.
"I'm not afraid to die fool," Kaiba retorted.
This was it. The final quest of Yugi's revenge has begun. After killing his murderers and those who got in his way, Yugi has finally ready to destroy Kaiba. Yami Yugi and Kaiba clashed. Yugi punched Kaiba in the jaw then grabbed him by the hair and smashed his face through a window. Kaiba's face was busted wide open. Yugi picked Kaiba up and threw him to the wall.
"How does it feel to be a victim Kaiba?" asked Yugi.
Kaiba spat blood at Yugi's face.
"Wrong answer," said Yugi wiping the blood from his face.
Yugi picks Kaiba up and uppercuts him in the chin. Myca was guarding Tea but then she was attacked by the crow. Myca tries to swat the crow but the crow dodged the woman's hand with ease. The crow kept trying to peck at Myca until she slapped the bird away, causing Yugi to fall to the ground. Myca pulls out a gun and shot the bird, wounding it. Yami Yugi felt his powers disappear, Kaiba smiled as he grabbed Yugi and punched him in the face. Kaiba kicked Yugi in the ribs then throws him to a pile of boxes.
"What's the matter? Did the big bad bird lose his powers?" mocked Kaiba.
Seto pulled Yami by the hair and kicked him in the face. Yami Yugi got up to strike back but Seto grabbed his gun and shot Yugi in the shoulder, our anti-hero stumbled back as Kaiba fired more rounds into Yugi's body. Yugi coughed up some blood. Kaiba kicked Yugi in the chin as Myca walked toward them with the wounded crow in her arms. Tea watched her lover dying at Kaiba's feet, she felt human hands untying her ropes and removing her gag. Tea saw Skull Cowboy, Joey, and Mai.
"What are you guys doing--?" Tea asked before she was cut off by Skull Cowboy.
"Shhh. I'm gonna go stop Kaiba before he kills Yugi and the crow" Skull Cowboy whispered.
Yami Yugi was lying on the cold cement ground. His powers were gone and his crow was mortally wounded. Kaiba laughed at Yugi's pain as he aimed his gun at the wounded bird.
"Once I kill the crow, I'll take your power and have the pleasure of finishing you off," said Kaiba smiling evily.
"B-Bastard," Yami Yugi said weakly.
"Tell your grandfather I said 'hi'," said Kaiba.
"No!" yelled Skull Cowboy.
"Huh?" asked Kaiba.
Skull Cowboy appeared briefly then disappeared. Mai elbows Myca causing her to release the wounded crow from her arms. Tea grabbed the bird as Mai superkicked Myca's gun out of her hand. Kaiba watched the action then turned his attention back to the dying Yami Yugi. He aimed his gun at the avatar's forehead but Joey tackled Kaiba and wrestled him to the ground.
"I'm not gonna let you kill my best friend!" yelled Joey, struggling to keep Kaiba down.
While Joey fought Kaiba, death was closing in on Yami Yugi. He felt like he just couldn't take it anymore, he just wanted to die.
"I'm sorry Grandfather. I-I failed you," Yugi said sadly. Yugi breathed his last breath and closed his eyes, Yugi was dead again.
"No!" cried Tea.
Tea ran to the corpse of Yami Yugi, she put the crow down and cradled Yugi's head in her arms. Kaiba threw Joey off of him and laughed. Myca blocked Mai's punch and chopped her to the ground then picked up the crow.
"Yugi, please don't die," pleaded Tea.
"It's too late sweetheart. Yugi's already dead," Kaiba said coldly.
"You lie!" cried Tea.
Seto Kaiba showed no remorse. Tea sobbed softly as she stroked Yugi's hair. A tear fell from Tea's cheek and landed on Yugi's forehead. Yami Yugi found himself drifting through a dark endless void. It seemed he failed his mission to avenge the deaths of himself and his grandfather. How could Yugi just given up on his friends and family at a time like this? Mental images of Solomon, Joey, Mai, Tristen, Serenity, and Tea passed through his mind. Suddenly, Yami Yugi heard a voice. The voice of Skull Cowboy.
"How dare you!?" Skull Cowboy's voice screamed.
"What? Who is it?" Yugi asked.
"You can't give up now!" yelled Skull Cowboy.
"Skull Cowboy," said Yugi.
"How can you think like that while your grandfather is stuck in limbo!?" yelled Skull Cowboy.
"I failed you," Yugi replied.
"No you haven't, there's still time. Either you return to Earth or your grandfather spends eternity in limbo," said Skull Cowboy.
"You're right! I will not give up!" screamed Yugi.
"Good. I'm counting on you, Yugi," said Skull Cowboy, his voice echoed and disappeared.
"I won't give up! I am The Crow!" screamed Yami Yugi as a shadowy entity of the crow with red eyes bursts from his body.
Back in real world, Kaiba smiled evily at everyone. He thought he won but he was wrong. Yugi's eyes flashed open. He got up with renewed confidence and strength. His gunshot wounds were gone. The crow flapped its wings and pecked at Myca's eyes. The bird proceeded to peck her to death.
"Yugi!" Tea yelled happily.
"What!? Impossible, you're dead!" screamed Kaiba.
"Nothing's impossible Kaiba. Now you're going to die," said Yugi.
"I don't think so," said Seto, firing some rounds into Yugi but the wounds healed instantly.
"No guns this time Kaiba. We're gonna settle this once and for all," said Yami Yugi as he shifted into a fighting stance.
"Have it your way Yugi but when this is over, I will destroy you," said Kaiba, dropping his gun and raising his fists.
Tea, Mai, Joey watched as Yugi and Kaiba battled it out. Kaiba threw his fist at Yugi but he quickly blocked it and punched Kaiba in the face. The two duelists exchanged blows, Kaiba smashed Yami Yugi in the face then Yami Yugi kicks Kaiba in the ribs. They had bruised, battered, and beatened each other almost to the point of exhaustion. Kaiba attempted to strike our anti- hero but Yami Yugi blocked and elbows Kaiba in the face, knocking him down.
"Here's the two years of pain you put me through, Kaiba," said Yami Yugi, placing his hands on Seto's face.
All of the flashbacks of Yugi's death zoomed into Seto's mind. He screamed in agony while feeling the waves of pain and suffering. After that, Seto collasped to the ground, he was dead.
"Pain is my power," Yami Yugi said to himself.
"It's over," said Joey.
Skull Cowboy mysterously appeared as he said "You're right, it is over."
"Where should I go now?" asked Yugi.
"You must go back to your grandfather, Yugi," Skull Cowboy replied softly.
Yugi bowed his head in sadness as a police siren screeched from outside. Albrecht, Serenity, and Tristen got out of the car and ran into the warehouse.
"Yugi, you're alive," said Serenity.
"It's good to see you again man," added Tristen.
"Not so fast everyone. Yugi Muto is under arrest for murder," said Albrecht.
"I think not, Detective," said Skull Cowboy.
"Who the hell are you?" Albrecht asked.
"That doesn't matter because in a few minutes me and Yugi will be gone," Skull Cowboy replied.
"It looks its goodbye everyone," said Yugi.
Yugi's friends told him "Please don't go.", "We love you.", and "We need you here." but Yugi has no choice but return to the otherside.
"I have no choice, I must go back," said Yugi.
Yami Yugi turned to Joey and Tristen.
"Joey, Tristen, I know we should've talked each other but it was nice to see you two again," said Yugi.
"Same here Yuge," said Joey, getting teary eyed.
"We'll miss you, man," Tristen added getting teary eyed as well.
Yugi hugged both Tristen and Joey then turned to Mai and Serenity.
"Take care of Joey and Tristen," said Yugi.
"Don't worry, we will," said Mai, starting to cry as well.
Yugi embraced Mai and Serenity then turned to Tea, who was already crying.
"I'm gonna miss you most of all Tea," said Yugi.
"Will I ever see you again?" cried Tea.
"You will, sweetheart. You will," Yugi replied as he embraced Tea.
Yugi pressed his lips to Tea's in a very deep passionate kiss. They kissed each other no more than ten seconds. Yugi released Tea from the kiss then turned to Skull Cowboy.
"Alright, let's go," said Yugi.
Skull Cowboy nodded. Yugi turned his head to see his friends one last time, Yugi felt a tear coming down his cheek then disappeared with Skull Cowboy. Albrecht just stood there in utter shellshock, the man he went after was gone. Nearly three years later, Tea was at the gravesite of Yugi Muto and his grandpa. She was dressed in a tight long sleeved dark grey sweater, black mini skirt, and black leather boots. Tea placed some flowers on the grave as the crow flew onto Yugi's tombstone. The crow cawed to her. Tea smiled as she pet the bird's head. Later that night, A dark figure was standing near the grave of Yugi and Solomon Muto. The crow cawed to it's master. He nodded and walked out of the cemetary. The mysterious stranger looked exactly like Yami Yugi Muto. Has Yami Yugi returned to the living world? Only time will tell.
