Chapter 3: The Food Challenge

~ Kai's POV~

This Xylia girl is crazy…She wants me, Yusuke and Koji to eat worms…covered with all condiments…She also stated that whoever wins gets $100 worth of food. The runner up gets $50 and the last person gets $25. How are the plates of worms coming in anyway??? It's not like they can just come down from the ceiling.

§ 5 seconds after her said the last thing§

O_O I take that back…They CAN come out from the ceiling. They just came down and plopped right in front of us….

"Ready…" said Xylia.

NOT READY!!!

"Set…." said Xylia.

NOT SET!!!!

"DIG IN!!!" yelled Xylia.

I guess I have to now, don't I??

~Normal POV~

Yusuke shoved his hands into the worms and picked them up and started eating them. Kai was a little hesitant at first but soon took second place. Koji was currently in last place. He had to have his face shoved in the worms by Takuya.

~ Xylia's POV~

Koji looks like he's about to vomit…Oh…He just vomited… Yusuke is now in second…he also looks sick… Kai is in first and shows no sign of weakness. Just looking at the stuff makes me want to vomit. Ewww…There's a mustardy, mayonnaise worm up Yusuke's nose…Ewwww… He pulled it out and ate it…I'm going to be sick…Times almost up… Yusuke's in second…no first…. No second…no first…and Time's up!

"TIMES UP! Contestants step away from the plates," I said.

Koji looks sick, Yusuke's a little green in the face, and Kai looks green. I look at the plates…I'm surprised at what I see.

"And the winner is…" started Xylia.

Tika: Tempted to stop now…

Readers: *ready to throw random objects*

Tika: O_O But…I SHALL GO ON!!!!!

Readers: *puts the objects away*

"KAI!!!!" yelled Xylia.

~Normal POV~

The BladeBreakers are jumping up and down. Kai runs over to the toilet and vomits. Yusuke, on the other hand, just vomits on Kuwa. Koji is laying down trying to not vomit. A slip of paper lands near each of the groups. It is a list of all food items and their prices. They discuss what they want and check off the boxes of the food items.

"Xylia…Where do we hand you the slips??" asked Max.

"Just slip them under the door," answered Xylia.

Max slips his groups under the door, Kouichi does his groups and Botan does her group.

"Well…Hope you guys are ready for your next challenge…This one is for reward…You'll get some blankets," said Xylia. "I'll be leaving and you'll get to talk to Ray now."

Ray appears and grins mischievously at them.

"Are you guys ready to hear your next challenge??" asked Ray.

Everyone, looking scared now, shook his or her heads no.
