"Boton, we have found a being with no energy, no life source, anything. The only thing that can do that as you know is a free soul, so I need you to go and ferry it, bring it to Rekai. Take Hiei and Kurama with you, as there is a very powerful energy signature with the soul. I don't know if you will have problems retrieving it, but just in case, take them with you. Here are the coordinates, that is where the soul is located."

"Okay Koenma, I'll get right on it!"

"Hiei! Kurama! It's good that you two are together. Koenma wanted me to get you two to go with me on a free soul retrieval."

"Why would you need us Boton?"

"Well, he said there was a very powerful energy signature in the same vicinity as the soul, and he doesn't know if there will be a problem during the retrieval."

"Ok Boton we will go with you."

"Hn. Says who?"

"Hiei, there is the possibility of a good fight…weren't you just saying you were bored?"

"Fine. I will go."

"Great! I will open the portal." And she proceeded to do exactly that. She opened the portal a little bit away, and they walked to where the 'soul' was. They were to far away to hear Kagome and Vegeta, and for them to hear the Tantei. When they arrived, it happened to be near the end of Kagome's narration.

"…I was getting ready to leave for my time when Kikyo came out of the bushes, ready to claim 'her' soul. I killed her, and now have my whole soul back. Shippo and Kilala are back in my time, and I am here. I would have come sooner, but I wanted to get Shippo situated in my time."

Before Vegeta could respond to Kagome's story, Boton started tugging on her soul, thinking that she was dead. She didn't feel it at first, so Kagome did hear Vegeta's response "The female is the one I have to retrieve."

"So…let me get this straight. The well closed, Naiya had you, when you were fifteen you were pulled into the well and transported 500yrs in your past and 600yrs in mine. From there you shattered some powerful jewel and had to travel for three years to collect them to put it back together, culminating in a final fight against a powerful, evil hanyou that unlocked your Saiyan powers and caused the women you thought was your mother to reveal to you your true origins. Not to mention said fight finished said jewel and when you wished on it you became a demon." A pause, then he continues. "Do you have any idea what you really are? Have you really thought about it? You are a demon, with miko and Saiyan powers. You are probably the strongest person alive. Even stronger than Kakarott, and he is the strongest fighter in the universe." He blinks. "Wait…that means my daughter has the potential to be the strongest being in the universe, especially if you are trained in all your powers…we need to find someone to train your miko and demon powers, Kakarott and I can train you in your Saiyan powers."

"Who is…ahhhhhh," she screamed "Someone is trying to steal my soul, papa you have to stop him or her."

"Can you tell where the person is?"

"Behind me."

Vegeta jumped up and sped toward where she had indicated, right to the Tantei. Hiei and Kurama jumped out of the tree they were in and moved to intercept him. He just dodged their attacks like they were nothing, powered up to super Saiyan, and grabbed Boton right off her oar.

"What do you think you are doing? Why are you trying to take my daughter's soul?" he growled, sending shivers down the Tantei's spines.

"She is a free floating soul sir, I have to ferry her soul to Rekai."

"My daughter is NOT dead! Do you understand me?"

"But sir, she has no energy signal, no life energy either."

After Boton said that, Vegeta turned to Kagome and tried to sense her. He frowned when he saw the ferry girl was correct.

"Kagome, why do you not have an energy signature?"

She looked confused at that until she tried to sense herself. "Oh! That must be the Shikon no Tama trying to protect me. Hold on, let me take the shields down." As she concentrated, Vegeta and the Tantei began to slowly feel her energy rise. When she was done taking down the shield over her life force, she smiled.

"Done! Well, at least the shield on my life energy is down, not the one on my power."

"Can you lower your power shield too? I want to know exactly how powerful you are."

"Are you sure father? We will probably attract every demon and energy sensitive human around to us."

"Yes, I am sure."

"Ok…if you are sure." As she finished saying that, she began to lower her power shield, her power slowly began to rise, from that of Kuwabara, to Yusuke, to Kurama, to Hiei, to Genkai, to even higher. Her power levels increased dramatically, and the Tantei was surprised. This little human girl had that much power?

Not Vegeta though, he had a jubilant look on his face. He was so happy he forgot the Tantei were even there, and powered down from SSJ1 and ran to give her a hug.

"You're not even powered up to Super Saiyan 1 and your already that powerful? Kami! Your already more powerful then Kakarott in SSJ4!" He was practically dancing for joy. He was grinning widely though. "Just wait until Kakarott and the others get a load of you…my daughter stronger than even that third class idiot.

"Father, that was what I was trying to ask you before, who is Kakarott?" as she asked the question, she put her power shield back up.

"Kakarott? You already met him. He was the one who introduced us."

"Oh, but I thought his name was Goku?" she asked with this cute little confused look on her face.

Vegeta snorted and said, "That is the idiot's human name. He didn't know he was a full blooded Saiyan because he hit his head and lost his memories until I came to this stupid rock to destroy the pathetic life forms on this planet so I could sell it. He defeated me and I found out he was Kakarott, so that is what I call him. I refused to call a Saiyan by some stupid human name like Goku."

"Oh ok. I understand."

The Tantei listened to the conversation and wondered what they were talking about. Saiyans and coming from another planet? That wasn't possible yet was it? Wouldn't Koenma have said something if it was?

"Maybe we should take them to see Koenma…he will want to know about this."

Kurama stepped forward and started to speak. "Sir, miss, we would like to take you to meet our boss Koenma, he will want to meet you both."

"Who is Koenma?" Kagome asked before her father could say anything.

"He is the ruler of the Spirit World, and he helps protect the Ningenkai from demons who escape Makai."

"Makai, Ningenkai what is that?"

"The Makai is the Demon realm and the Ningenkai is the Human realm you stupid onna."

Vegeta's head shot to look at Hiei. "First she is not a human, nor is she stupid. Second you should be bowing to her because she is a princess, and Third if you ever call my daughter anything but her name again I will tear you limb from limb."

"Daddy! He doesn't know. Besides, he is arrogant, just like Sesshoumaru. Wait a minute…I am a princess?"

"Yes Kagome you are. Or don't you remember when you were chewing me out you called me Ouji-sama?"

"No I remember, I guess it just didn't occur to me that I was a princess. Won't Souta and Shippo be pleased. Oh that reminds me…what time is it?"

"Three in the afternoon Lady Kagome." Kurama stated after looking at his watch.

"Thank you…"

"Shuuichi Minamino, but I preferred to be called Kurama, and this here is Hiei and Boton."

"Thank you Kurama. To answer your earlier question, yes we will go with you to see your boss, but I need to go get my son, he is just getting home from school and I promised to be there when he got back. I will be right back." And with that she jumped down the well.

"Huh? Her son goes to school in a well?"

"Stupid onna, the well must be a portal of some sort. Where it leads is the question."

"No one but her can use it anyway, but if you must know it leads to her home, a hundred years in the past."

"The past! That isn't possible! Besides, even if it was Koenma would have closed it."

"This Koenma can't close it, the well is powered by an outside source, and my daughter carries that source within her."

"So if someone managed to get the source out of her, they could travel through time?"

"No, she is the only person allowed through the well, that and anyone she gives permission to, well, or anyone the source deems need to be." When he finished saying that they heard a boys voice come from the depths of the well.

"That was so cool 'kaa-san! Do you think your father will like me? What if he doesn't like me, what am I going to do?" They heard a giggle and then a response "Of course he will like you Shippo, and besides even if he doesn't and tried to do anything I will give him a necklace like Inuyasha had ok?"

"Ok 'kaa-san just checking."

"It's alright Shippo now hold on to me." And with that she began to climb out of the well. When her head popped over the side, Vegeta snorted and said, "You are going to try and put a subduing necklace on me? I dare you to try."

She just smiled brightly and said, "Only if you try and hurt my son!"

"I would never do that."

She just gave a soft laugh and said "You have never met Shippo." She then turned to said son and introduced him to those standing there.

"Hi! I am Shippo!"

"Aisoku! You are not paying attention again, your illusion is dropping."

Shippo looked a bit sheepish at that and voiced, "Sorry Hahaue. I'm a little excited."

"It's alright."

"Illusion?"

"Yes father. I told you Shippo was a kitsune, he can do illusions and make himself change appearance. One of them is a large pink balloon. He used to knaw on Inuyasha's head in that form when the hanyou would annoy him."

"Which was often, at least twice a day." piped up Shippo.

"Shippo, I know you enjoy looking like you are my real son, but can you drop the illusion? I don't want you to wear yourself out, plus, I want father to see your real form." With a pop and a little smoke, poof went human Shippo and out came the real Shippo. When he was done, he hopped up into Kagome's arms and climbed onto her head.

"Hear you go 'kaa-san!"

"See, this what Shippo looks like in his humanoid form."

"Cute, what do you look like?"

"Eh, me? Uhh…"

"Okaa-san is beautiful! I am so glad she became a kitsune for me, so now she can really adopt me in the youkai way on my birthday!"

"Really? Kagome, let me see your demon form."

"Ok." She let the glamour spell she had on drop and before their eyes, she transformed for a pretty human looking female into a gorgeous kitsune. "How do I look?"

With a smile Vegeta stated "I agree with the runt, you are beautiful."

"I agree Lady Kagome."

"Me too!"

"Hn."

"See, I told you 'kaa-san."

"Yes you did Shippo." She turned to the Tantei and asked, "Are we going to go see your boss now?"

"Oh yes! Let me open a portal!" As she was speaking, she waved her hand in the air and a portal opened. "In we all go!"
