Face to Face Seth Vs Cyrus

 

The next mourning Seth wakes up in his room not overly sore due to the fact that he is used to taking a beating from Kai like every occasion they fight.

`One day I will beat you, but for now I'll just say last night was a tie.'

Seth gets ready to clean himself up when he turns on the TV and a reporter begins to tell a story about to gang members viciously beaten and killed.

“The first a Mister Ryan Rogers died because a severe break in his spine while his partner who still hasn't been identified had sustained many injuries including a collapsed lung, heart tissue damage, crushed larynx, and a shattered knee cap. More on this story as it develops.”

Seth turns off the TV his hands are shaking and his face is as white as a ghost. As the day goes on Seth begins getting clues to who this man is just by hear say on his normal walk to the gym he works out in. As well as inside when most of the normal patrons start telling stories about a huge black haired man who broke that Rogers guy with just one punch.

Finally as the sun goes down Seth ventures out into the side of town where the murders happened. As the night goes on it seems impossible to just locate one man in a city of thousands. Suddenly he hears a scream coming from the opposite direction he's going. He turns and runs down the ally and stops at the sight of a man bloody and broken lying on the ground, unable to move due to his injuries.

“What happened!?”

The man looks up at Seth through his one good eye, “You better run before he decides to kill you too!”

“Who!?”

Before he can answer the man breathes his last breathe and his eye goes faint.

“Who!?” Seth stands up obviously angry that he came so close to finding the person or thing responsible for what just happened, “damn.”

“It was me.”

Seth turns to the voice in the darkness as a man just a little taller than he with spiked blonde hair appears into the light. He shrugs and repeats his previous statement seeming to care very little about his actions.

Seth takes a moment to not that he isn't in fact huge and he doesn't have black hair, “Who are you?”

The man cracks his knuckles, “I am Cyrus, the last thing you'll be seeing.”

Seth quickly jumps back as Cyrus leans in to slam his fist into him. Seth lands a few feet away and drops into his preferred stance.

With a smirk Cyrus charges in and faints a punch making Seth prepare a defense for his stomach and then Cyrus follows through with a powerful hooking punch catching Seth across the cheek. Seth spirals across the ally into a building wall but somehow manages to land on his feet.

“Yeah that was pretty good but I heard you broke a man's spine with one punch.” Seth wipes the blood from his lip.

“That was with my right hand.” Cyrus runs at Seth and swings with his right but Seth rolls under the punch and hops back to his feet connecting with a kick to the back of Cyrus' neck making him stumble forward. Cyrus swings his arm back at Seth missing as he ducks under the attack and connects with a powerful uppercut that lifts Cyrus off the ground making him land hard on his gut.

Seth walks over to his down body, “You weren't that great.”

Suddenly Cyrus kicks Seth in the gut launching him back a good thirty feet. Even from this distance Seth can see a similar glow to Cyrus' eyes as if they were his own. Cyrus runs at Seth now with even more speed than before and connects with a rising knee strike then elbow Seth in the forehead distorting him then finishing his attack with a rising uppercut.

The blow launches Seth over twenty feet into the air and he comes down hard on top of a dumpster. Seth gets to his feet and jumps off the dumpster and spirals down at Cyrus connecting with a powerful kick to his shoulder dropping him to one knee. Trying to keep the advantage on his side Seth hits Cyrus with a hook punch to his jaw then spin kicks him in the head. With the spinning kick he decides to jump and try a spinning round house but Cyrus catches his leg the spins whipping him against the dumpster.

Seth falls flat on his face and his pain tolerance begins to weaken as his back begins to scream at him for the constant pain.

Seth stands and dodges an uppercut and connects with a straight punch to Cyrus' nose making a small stream of blood escape his left nostril.

Cyrus now extremely angry begins to attack Seth with on going combination attacks making it practically impossible for Seth to mount an offence. Finally just as Cyrus begins to spin to keep his combo going Seth kicks him in the back as hard as he can to make the combos stop. Seth runs up to Cyrus and slams his knees into his back then jumps and lands a multi kick combo to the center of his back ending with Seth landing on the ground and ramming his elbow into the soft spot between his shoulder blades.

Cyrus rolls forward to create some space between him and Seth, “You are different from the others I've killed.”

Seth decides to make this conversation last due to his aching back, “Yeah I am still alive. So where'd you get it?”

Cyrus cracks his neck and back, “Get what?”

“The glow in your eyes.” Seth's voice is filled with venom due to the fact that he's never known anyone else with that glow.

“It was given to me.”

The answer throws Seth off as Cyrus charges forward and connects with a powerful kick to the gut making him skid back another ten feet. Seth begins to run at Cyrus as he concentrates his energy into his fists making them glow. Just as he swings at Cyrus he jumps back landing at the entrance to the ally way.

“You can control energy?” Cyrus seems a little scared but it quickly disappears. “That changes everything, we'll meet again boy, mark my words.” With that Cyrus runs out of the ally and disappears into the night.

Just as Seth falls to his knees a man with short black hair catches him his words, “Hold on” seem only noise as Seth passes out.
