Hey! Here’s the next chapter of Leave My Heart Out Of It! Hope you enjoy it!
IMPORTANT!!!!!!!
Oh, and I have a bit of a thing for you to read. I know that a lot of you aren’t familiar with Kia and Kikitsu, so…here’s a bit of a bio.
Kia is a cat demon. She is also the princess of the Southern lands of Makai. She has an older brother named Takaeda.
Kikitsu is half black dragon, half wind Shinobi. She is Jin’s half sister. Her father is the same Dark Dragon that is in Hiei’s Dragon of the Darkness Flame. Okay?
You all know the others, or you wouldn’t be reading a YYHHP x-over. Sorry. Had to tell you that stuff. Go on to reading!
Previously on Leave My Heart Out of It!
They all pointed at each other and yelled, “YOU’RE REAL!?”
Minako promptly fell over laughing.
Harry crossed his arms. “What do you mean, ‘You’re real?’”
Kurama blinked. “And what do you mean that we’re real? Of course we are!”
Harry snorted. “According to the people in America and Europe, no, you’re not! We think you’re all just a bunch of characters out of mangas!”
“Huh? And all our lives, we’ve been told the tales of Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone, the Chamber of Secrets, the Prisoner of Azkaban, the Goblet of Fire, and the Order of the Pheonix! We thought J.K. Rowling was full of shit when she said you were real!”
Everyone sighed.
“I think my brain just broke.” Muttered Harry and Kurama at the same time.
Everyone else laughed.
Leave My Heart Out Of It! Chapter Three: The Hot Topic Make Over
Harry flopped onto the couch next to Minako, worn out from over-use of brain damage.
“Why do these things always happen to me?”
“Cause you’re special!” Kia said, laughing. “Oh, did the poor ningens brain break again?”
Harry, surprisingly, growled at her, the sound resounding in his throat and also making Kia shiver.
‘Damn. Where’d he learn how to growl like that?’
The Boy-Who-Lived noticed the question in her emerald eyes and sighed. “It’s a Potter thing. The people in my dad’s side of the family have always been able to growl like that. I guess it also contributes to me being in Gryffindor. Well…I could have hissed, but I doubt anyone would have liked that.”
Everyone: ?
Harry sighed again. “I’m a Parselmouth. And I’m not proud of it. Oh, and Hiei, stop trying to get into my mind with your Jagan eye. I won’t be very happy.”
Everyone blinked. “How?”
“I read the Yu Yu Hakusho manga in England. It covers all your histories, your likes, dislikes, fears, and battles. Your wins and your losses. In short, I know every embarrassing moment you’ve all had since you were four. Don’t piss me off, please?”
Harry glanced at Kurama, and sighed. “Y’know, Kurama? You’re a lot cooler in the manga then you are in real life. In the manga, you’re intimidating, cunning, cruel, and unbelievably precise. Judging from what I’ve gathered so far, you’re acting like a pure human.”
Kurama blinked, then growled, his eyes going amber. “Oh really?”
Suddenly, Harry found himself hanging upside down via a vine around his ankles above the Death Plant.
“I dare you to say that again!” Kurama growled out.
Harry sighed. “Y’know…this isn’t as scary as they put it in the TV show.”
The emerald-eyed boy was staring straight into the mouth of death, and he was being sarcastic!
Minako laughed again, but straightened herself out. “Kurama, put him down.”
“But…”
“NOW!”
The fox thief sighed and dropped Harry to the ground, none-too-gently either.
“Youch! That hurt, baka kitsune (stupid fox!)!” He stood and dusted himself off.
Kia took in Harry’s outfit. “Blech! Where’d you get your clothes!?”
“Oh, these? These are hand-me-downs from my cousin, Dudley.”
Kia blanched, as did the other girls in the room.
“Uh…Harry?”
“Yeah?”
“The girls and I will be going out somewhere else. Kurama, Hiei, and Yusuke can take you to go get some new clothes.”
“Huh? But…” Harry started to disagree, but Yusuke grabbed him around the neck with his arm, but not squeezing.
“It’s okay, we’ll take him to HT. we’ll get him some good clothes. Maybe a few other things, too.”
Harry blinked. “I don’t like the way that sounds.” The boy muttered, causing laughter from everyone but Hiei.
Kurama smiled. “Don’t worry, Harry. We won’t let Yusuke do anything too drastic to you.”
With that, Harry was whisked off towards a mall, via Kurama’s red and silver Mercedes Convertible.
“Wait, you guys had better not be taking me to some weird place that Hermione would take me!”
“Where would that be?” Kurama asked.
“American Eagle.”
The three boys shared looks and shivered. “Gross! No way we are even passing that place! We’re going to the only good store in the mall besides Suncoast!” Yusuke smirked.
Harry blinked again. “Where is that?”
The boys dragged him half-way through the mall, stopping to stare at a few shops along the way.
Finally, they reached their destination. Hot Topic.
Harry blinked. “Aw…Hell…Naw!”
“Why not?” Hiei asked.
“Jeeze! My parents would kill me if they were still alive!”
“But…their not! So they can’t kill you! And you need a new wardrobe!” Kurama promptly grabbed the boy and yanked him into the store.
“Oy! Lita! You here?” Yusuke yelled.
A girl came from the back, blue hair swishing around her waist, black shirt and baggy pants being worn. She gave him a look. “Yeah, I’m here, Urameshi. What’s….WHAT THE HELL!?”
She caught sight of the prep-dressed Harry, and looked ready to faint. “God! Why didn’t you tell me you brought me a make-over subject? In the name of Inari! I need to get started now!”
The blue-eyed girl ran around the store in a frenzy, picking up a lot of different types of clothing articles and then stuffed Harry into one of the curtained dressing rooms, and threw the clothes in after him. “Put these on in the order I give them to you!”
Harry looked at the large amount of clothes on the seat and groaned. ‘This will take awhile.’
“Don’t worry, Harry! We’ve got all the time in the world!” Yusuke yelled, not making Harry feel any better.
After a few minutes, Harry had managed to pull on one of the outfits. He looked at himself in the mirror and yelled. “I’m not coming out!”
“Harry!” Kurama whined.
“NO!”
Hiei grunted and walked right into the dressing room, grabbed Harry, and pulled him out.
“Hey, watch it, three-eyes!” Harry muttered, but was pulled out of the room either way and stood in front of the critical eyes of a demon lord, a fox thief, and the shop keeper.
Lita whistled. “Wow. Could he leave the store in that? I’d like to stare for a while.”
Harry blushed bright red.
He now wore a tight, black shirt with red lining. On the front of the shirt, it said: Keep staring, I might do a trick.
His pants were tight, and made of black leather. But…they were oddly comfortable. Yet, quite a few silver chains made of linked snakes with emerald eyes hung from the belt loops.
Yusuke nodded. “Yeah. That one looks good on you. Take it off, give it to Hiei, and then try on the others.”
Harry nodded, knowing he had no choice in the matter, and trudged off into the dressing rooms.
And so it went for almost an hour, Harry trying on clothes, modeling for the other four in the shop, and then deciding whether to buy it or not.
This went on until he came to the last outfit…the one he dreaded trying on.
But, it was the one that the others were going to force him to leave the store in.
“NOT COMING OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Yusuke groaned, and pulled the boy out of the dressing room. This was the fifth time they’d had to do it out of the fifteen outfits he’d tried on.
Lita near-fainted.
A lot of the girls in the store, and a few guys (shiver) stared openly at Harry, who was blushing his British butt off.
His outfit made him look like a Slytherin punk!
A tight, black muscle shirt with the Slytherin logo on the front, and the motto: Don’t look at the glass half empty, don’t look at the glass half full, just find the bastard that drank half your soda and beat the shit outta him!
His pants were baggy yet snug around his waist. They hung limply around his new black tennis shoes. Green strings were set on the seams, standing out on the raven black.
The boy looked down as the others inspected his outfit.
“Well, I think he’ll be wearing that out.” Yusuke said, smiling. “Let’s just hope we don’t run into any punk girls on the way out of here, or else we’ll have some problems.”
Harry blushed. “Anything else?”
Lita nodded. “Yep. Go sit in that chair over there.”
She pointed to a black leather stool in the corner of the store, and Harry was pushed onto it via Yusuke.
Lita, Kurama, and Hiei went to a corner of the store and looked over a few things for almost fifteen minutes.
Afterwards, they headed over to the nervous boy, and Lita pulled out her wand. “Hold still, Harry. Make sure not to move, because this is really going to hurt.” Harry squeezed his eyes shut, but didn’t make a sound as he felt a sharp stab of pain enter his earlobe, after that, the pain entered his left, upper arm. “Well, his pain endurance is strong, I’ll give him that. Open your eyes, Harry.” Harry opened his eyes to Yusuke’s command, and blinked. Nothing looked different to him. Lita looked sheepish. “Now, Harry, don’t hurt me. This was all their idea. But…” she took his hand and led him to the dressing room again, but then made him stand in front of the mirror. Harry was…shocked, for lack of a better word. He had an earring! A silver stud lay in his right earlobe. But…a thin chain hung from the stud and connected to a long, thin fang. But…that wasn’t the shocker. His shirt sleeve had been rolled up to his shoulder and now a tattoo lay there on his pale skin. The tattoo, very artistically done, consisted of a midnight black Wevryn with ruby eyes wrapped around a blood-red rose. The thorns of the rose dug into the Wevryn and caused blood to flow down the stem of the flower in black rivulets, but the dragon was biting into the petals of the rose, making red blood flow down to mix in and mingle with the black. “Whoa.” Was all the boy could say. “So, do you like it?” Lita asked, slightly nervous. “Yeah. It’s great. The adults back home are probably gonna kill me, but…hey, I’ll live.” Harry grinned at her, and she melted. “Well, guys, let’s pay for this stuff and get out of here!” Yusuke cheered, and Kurama nodded in agreement. Harry reached into the pocket of his old pants and pulled out a wallet. When he was last in Gringotts, he’d had a lot of his money transferred into Muggle money. Harry walked up to the cash register, where Lita placed all of his purchases in black drawstring bags, and he handed over the two-hundred-something dollars over to pay for his clothes. Yusuke and the others had added a few wrist bands, necklaces, and leather chokers into the bag. Yusuke and Kurama halved the money and paid for the extra stuff themselves. “Well, wait! What about my earring and tattoo! I have to pay for that…” Lita smiled at him impishly. “Hey, that one’s on the house…if…I can do one thing.” Harry looked over at the others, and they nodded to him. They all knew what she was going to do if he nodded yes. Harry turned to Lita, and nodded. “I guess so.” Suddenly, he stiffened when she grabbed hold of the front of his shirt and yanked him toward her. Her warm-black-lipsticked mouth covered his in a hot kiss. Harry’s emerald eyes widened considerably. But, she held onto the kiss for a few minutes, then let him go. “Damn. That feels better.” “God damn! What was that for?!” Harry asked. “Aww, you didn’t like it?” she asked, winking at him seductively. Harry, innocent boy that he was except for his mischievous streak, did the only thing that came to mind. He blushed. Again! They all laughed at his expense, and left the store. Harry groaned, stretching in a cat-like way. “Well, let’s go get some ice cream, then we’ll head back to Minako’s. How’s that sound?” he asked the others. Kurama smiled, and agreed. The other two did as well. The four boys stepped into an ice cream parlor named ‘Yuki,’ placed their orders, and sat down at a booth. Harry sat next to Kurama, across from Yusuke, and Kurama was across from Hiei. The four boys talked idly about certain things. Music, mainly. Harry sighed and said, “Guys, I’ve heard of Linkin Park, don’t worry. And I love the stuff. My cousin Dudley got their CD’s for Christmas, but then he didn’t like them because he said he had wanted, and get this, Rickey Martin!” The four boys laughed, well, Hiei chuckled. “So, I was given the CD’s, and since Dudley said they had gotten him the wrong CD player, I got that as well. I always got the things he didn’t want. But…sometimes that wasn’t so bad. So, Yusuke, how’s your mom doing with that drinking counselor she’s seeing?” Yusuke blinked. “How did you know that?” Harry grinned. “Mangas. They can tell me wonderful things!” Yusuke sweat-dropped. ‘That’s not even funny.’ Their ice cream came, and they all dug in. Harry had ordered mint-chocolate chip with whipped cream, cherries and chocolate sauce. Kurama had gotten a certain rose flavor that they’d never heard of with strawberry sauce. Hiei got a black currant berry kind. Yusuke had gotten plain chocolate, strawberry, vanilla swirl. The boys, after finishing, just sat around and talked for a few minutes until a certain girl came over and decided to speak up. “Hey, Harry.” The boy looked up and saw a pretty, Chinese girl dressed in a low-cut tank top with Chinese kanji written on it and tight hip-huggers…and way too much make up. “Cho?” She smiled. “Wow, Harry, you sure have changed. I like it.” Harry snorted, much to the surprise of the others and Cho’s friends behind her. “I thought you weren’t talking to me after we had that disagreement over your friend Marietta?” She smiled at him in a …friendly…seductive…way? “Oh, Harry, you know I can’t stay mad at you for long.” In the blink of an eye, she was sitting on Harry’s black-clad lap, arms wrapping around his neck. “Cho, let go and get up. I’m through with you. I said it last year. You wouldn’t believe me when I said that I was just meeting Hermione for a magazine interview, but you took it the wrong way, proving that you didn’t trust me. But…I’m glad to see you’re over Diggory. Now…off. Also, I could never have a girlfriend who didn’t respect my standing up for my friends when someone tries to put them down.” Slowly, Harry reached up and pushed Cho off his lap, causing her to land on her butt on the linoleum floor. He turned to the others and said, “Guys, let’s go. I want to get home and see Minako’s reaction to my make-over.” “Minako? Who’s Minako? You’re new girlfriend? How many do you have?” Marietta sneered. “Well, for your information, Minako is my friend, I have never had a girlfriend, I’ve only been on one date, and if I wanted a slut-with-no-fashion-sense’s opinion, I’ll ask you.” With that, they left. Yusuke whistled in amazement after they exited the mall and climbed into Kurama’s car. “Harry, what was up with that?” “Old crush who didn’t want to let me go.” “Oh. Whoa. Didn’t know you were a heartbreaker.” “I’m not. If you ask me, I’m happy without a girlfriend.” The three other boys shared looks, and drawled, “Riiiight.” “What? You don’t believe me?” He gave them a wounded pout. His answer was three smirks. “You don’t!” “Is it that obvious?” Kurama asked innocently as he could. Harry growled. “Let’s just get back to Minako’s.” “Sure thing.” After nearly three traffic jams that had Kurama actually yelling at the other drivers and an hour of sitting in the car and listening to Linkin Park songs, they finally reached Minako’s Japanese traditional mansion. The four boys climbed out of the car and Harry grabbed his bags, they all headed inside. The three girls were sitting in the living room, playing Dai Hin Min (Rich Man, Poor Man). Kia looked up from her cards, and her jaw dropped. “Harry?” she asked. The boy nodded. “What? You don’t like it?” Kikitsu and Minako looked up, and Kikitsu nearly started to drool. Minako would have been if she could. “Just…whoa! You look…whoa…” Harry smirked. “Kia, the cat’s supposed to get the tongue…how can you get your own?” Kia glared, but was still practically drooling over the Slytherin outlook Harry now had. Minako smiled and said, “Hey, I’ve got an idea! It’ll be a little ‘Welcome to Japan’ celebration for Harry. And to show off his new look.” She gave the others a look, and they nodded in understanding. Harry blinked in confusion. “What?” “Harry, tonight, we’re taking you to the ‘Dark Moon’!” A/N: Okay, that’s the end of that. If you review, I’ll update. The more reviews, the faster the update.
