Chapter 3:Betrayal

I didn't think people cared about my disappearance. But then, on that very day, they came.
I was waking with the boy again. His name was Keiyosei Yukimaro. He was abnormally polite, but I gt used to it. Althrough, I'm not sure if he ever brushed his hair. It was very messy black hair. Back then, I was foolish enough to not see his fake personality. Now, I can see that he is not who he seems.
It started out a normal day. I was walking with him n the beach. I liked it there. The wind was so fresh. In fact, that is where I am writing my story. Four people had come up to us. They were...bazar. The leading one had slicked black hair and chesnut brown eyes, which may have been the only normal looking one. The next had orange hair and blue eyes. The second tallest had red hair and leaf green eyes. Then the shortest was the most...um...menacing one. He had spiked, black hair with a white half star in the front. He had peircing red eyes and wore a white bandana.
"Hey are you Shuillin the missing girl Haisanaka?"The first had asked.
"That is not a very nice greeting."Keiyosei stepped up. I stared at him.
"What are you going to do about it, kid?"The second hovered over him. I walked up to him, grabbed the man's wrist and flipped him over.
"Leave him alone."I took both of his hands, fixed them behind him, and stepped and his back.
"That is definately her."The red head said to the shorter one.
"AAAHHH!"The man deserved it.
"We just want to bring you to a nice orphanage little girl."The red head was obviously the polite one.
"No."I started a walk the other way. I didn't see Keiyosei coming, so I turned around.
"I think it's best you go with them."Keiyosei stared at me.
"No."Another person came ut of the shadows and grabbed me.
"Let her go!"The gelled hair boy said.
"Not unless you want to die, too."With that, everyone backed away. The man had a knife under my chin.
"What do you want with her?!"The orange haired one yelled.
"She's a priceless little jewel isn't she?"
"Uh...She's just a girl. What do you mean priceless?"The gelled one asked. I found out later that his name was Yusuke.
"Everyone is after her."I heard the man say. The short one was missing. A second later, the man holding me fell and the short one grabbed me.
"Good job Hiei."The red head rested his hand on the short kid's shoulder.
"Who are you people?"I asked.
"We're your friends."Yusuke said.
"And if you come with us, we will take you to a secure location."The carrot head added. I believed him.
I went with the people. I trusted them. I trusted Keiyosei. They took me far away. I didn't think they were lying. They took me to a giant tower. A chill had run up my back when I saw it. I really got a bad feeling about this... They pushed me in and locked the door. I punched the door until my hands bled. I couldn't get out.
"Is this ethical Yusuke?"That was the red head.
"It has to be done."That was Yusuke.
"Yeah. She's dangerous to the world. Have you seen how she handled Kuwabara? I think that proves it."That was...I think Hiei.
"I know! I have bruises and I think she sprained some bones..."That must have been Kuwabara.
"Well, nice job Keiyosei. You were convincing."Yusuke's voice crushed me. Keiyosei was never my friend. It was all an act. For the first time since my mom died, a tear ran down my face. Backstabbers...That word rang through my head. They were gone. They left me. I escaped. They forgot I had an army knife. I cut my way out of the prison. Ha...maybe next time they'll spring for a metal door.
I can't belive they left me. All my life was betrayal, tears, terror. Whenever I walk down the streets, people judge me. I can't sleep well because of the thought of danger. I had no friends. The animals were cool. They listen. Even if that is true, I never had a real friend. I wish my mom was here to guide me again. I was 5 when she died. That was when I lived alone. I still do. When the people realized I was gone, they searched for me again. It was two years until I saw them again.
