The sounds of footsteps rang down the hall as the young ruler of the spirit world Koenma was busy stamping papers for those who were recently deceased. He complained about his work as he always did and was completely unaware of the visitors who now stood in front of his desk. That was until he heard the sound of a female voice bubbly as it always was.

 

Botan stood before her boss's desk a happy cheerful look on her face as she addressed the toddler politely “lord Koenma sir? You asked to see us?” she said raising a brow curiously. The Prince of the spirit world looked up seeing those who he asked to show had arrived. He looked from the face of the fire apparition heie as he returned koenma's look with the as always scowl. Then his gaze shifted to the face of the always calm and clever kurama who showed a look of indifference on his face his eyes showing patience. Next Koenma's gaze turned to the clown of the group kuwabara who returned the look Koenma gave him with one of wonder and curiosity. Finally Koenma's gaze turned to the leader of the group the one who beat touguro and won the dark tournament who was now giving the ruler a look of impatience, yusuke urameshi.

 

“Yes this task I have for you is a bit different then others u have had before” Koenma clears his throat trying to think of the best way to talk about the mission “Our sources have told us that a human with extraordinary power has made a bargain with the demon world. He has proposed to open a portal between the human and demon world in exchange for total control of this planet.” Both the humans and Botan had looks of surprise and fear plainly on their face while however kurama and heie seemed to hold their composure but Koenma could tell by their eyes that they had concern in them.

 

Then yusuke finally opened his mouth and as usual he had a thing or two to say about this mission “WHAT!! What are u saying that some shit ass powered up ego maniac wants to try a world takeover again?! We done this Koenma and u said the only way to open a tunnel was to have kuwabara cut down the kikai barrier and that will obviously never happen!” kuwabara nods his agreement he had gone silent sweat forming on his brow Koenma just sighed expecting this response from the hot headed spirit detective.

 

He sighs “…I know yusuke but this is no ordinary powered human nor is he a psychic… there is a subclass of humans known as witches and wizards they possess a different kind of power much different then spirit or demon energy. However they can only use this power through words or small sticks called wands” Yusuke gives Koenma a puzzled look “so what's the hells the problem just take away the guy's wand thing and that would be that gees even I knew that.”

 

Heie gave the spirit detective a look of annoyance “If it would have been that easy koenma would not have assigned this stupid mission to us detective.” Kurama nods agreeing with his fire demon friend. “Yes I believe there is more facts we need to go over before jumping to a conclusion am I right koenma?” koenma nodded silently. “Yes we have located a boy with powerful energy that this dark human wants to get rid of and if the demons manage to kill the boy then the evil human will help make a portal between the human and demon world and supposedly get total control of the planet. Your mission is to infiltrate a wizarding school and make sure the boy remains unharmed and alive. I have already made arrangements with the headmaster to enroll you into the school.”

 

Heie scoffs his eyes glaring at the little prince “hmph babysitting again koenma? Don't u think Kurama and I have done that enough with these humans?” Heie points to kuwabara and yusuke, kuwabara's nose flares as he gives the fire apparition an evil look “what you say shrimp how about I slam your midget butt into the nearest wall huh!” yusuke just laughs as Kurama softly shakes his head “something's never change I guess” the fox demon says to himself then watches as kuwabara and Heie have a small argument.
