Around lunchtime Harry limped back to the clearing to eat and rubbed his bruised ribs. Parko had trained him in multiple aerial and ground battles to build his skill with a sword; she dodged around him and didn't stop until he had hit her with the practice bamboo sticks at least 10 times. But she hurt him over 100 times while he was trying and he was stiff and achy from multiple hits to his spine, neck, ribs, and head he wondered if he would start carrying around a few new scars. He limped to the clearing and a good smell reached his nostrils and he limped a bit faster to eat.
In the clearing there was Kurama who was cooking a pot full of something over a fire and Hermione was sitting next to a tree creating flowers and making them wilt and grow again. Kuwabara was almost drooling over the food and was being restrained be Yusuke while Ron and Neville snickered behind them. Hiei and Shadow sat by themselves and seemed to not notice anything and ignored the food. Attica kept pestering Shadow by running up and poking him and disappearing before he could get her, he didn't seem to mind and mainly ignored it. When Harry walked into the clearing everyone looked up and smiled of nodded in greeting and Harry grimaced back and slumped against a tree and sighed in relief and withed the tree was a bit softer against his soar back. Ron stopped snickering and asked "what's wrong with you, you're all stiff looking", Harry grinned slightly and said "Parko gave me a crash course in sword play, and her method of teaching is trial and error, and errors result in bodily harm". Yusuke smiled slightly and said "that's how my teacher Genki taught me, after 3 months with her I had nightmares for about a year, first I had to balance on a spike for 12 hours, then I had to meditate on a bonfire for 2 weeks, then I slept with snakes for 3 weeks and…". But was cut off be Ron saying, "STOP, your going to give me nightmare just talking about it", but he smiled slightly just the same. Then Kurama said, "lunch is ready", and they all sat down and ate in silence.
After lunch it was Yusuke's turn to teach Harry so he followed him up into the canopy for his next lesson, they got to a wide branch and Yusuke started off by saying "o.k. Rookie welcome to Yusuke's training camp, injury is sure to happen so brace yourself for pain, you first lesson will be the easiest, you have to learn to control your spirit energy, feel that energy in you body, concentrate it to your fingers and let it take shape". Harry did that and felt the energy surge to his fingers and a weapon began to take shape, it curved and it soon became a plain looking wooden bow that glowed slightly around the edges, but Harry had no arrows and wondered if had to make some, he pulled back on the string and an arrow appeared ready to fire. He pulled back and shot the arrow up into the sky and it streaked through the trees and out of sight, he tried again but tried to make more arrows and this time when he pulled back the string 5 arrows appeared ready to fire he was about to fire but Yusuke grabbed him and said "you don't want to waist spirit energy in this camp, now lets begin in a exercise in concentrating and holding energy" and he pulled out two daggers and stuck the hilt into the wood so the tip was facing up. He then did a handstand and hopped over the dagger and balanced on the tip of the spike with only one finger keeping himself from being squired by using his spirit energy to levitate off the tip. He made it look easy but Harry knew that I must have been very hard. He balanced on one hand and followed Yusuke's example and hopped onto the spike and balanced on one finger using his spirit energy to levitate, he did it much more sloppily than Yusuke and his spirit energy was sending small sparks all around the dagger. Yusuke then said in a blend voice "now we hold this position for 6 hours and then theirs an exercise in blocking energy". Harry groaned and knew he was in for the long haul.
