They chased after Algernon as she ran up the stairs in some sort of panic. When they reached the top they found Algernon slumped on the floor breathing heavily, Harry walked up and said, "What was that about"? Algernon took a deep breath and said, "It's hard to control my instincts sometimes, when the end caved in my instincts took over and I got serious claustrophobia, but I'm ok now". With that problem averted Harry asked "so do we blast our way back, or do wee keep going". Algernon nodded and said "na' we keep going since there are more than enough of them to take care of Dragon, we should continue on to the main objective". She stood up and threw her hair back and was about to turn a corner to another short corridor when she stopped and flattened herself against the wall, motioning for them to join her. They walked over and then they heard what made her stop, two gruff looking demons were standing in front of the doorway to the staff room grunting and talking in the universal dialect of Makai that Harry had yet to learn.

They quickly came up with a plan since those two demons were guarding something important behind the door, judging by their power levels and attitude, and all three of them were curious to find out what it was, so Harry stepped out from behind the corner with an arrow drawn and ready and yelled "catch" and fired the arrow so it struck harmlessly in the ground at their feet. They jumped when they saw the flying arrow but when in landed at their feet they laughed at his apparent bad aiming and pulled out their maces to cleave off his head, but they didn't get to take two steps as Harry snapped his fingers and the arrow exploded (a trick Yusuke taught him about exploding ki) shattering the demons and the door open at the same time sending limbs, wood and stone flying everywhere. Algernon dropped from the ceiling with a huge smirk on her face and Yusuke came from around the corner peering into the room and Harry looked also and saw all of the teachers standing their looking shocked at the jailbreak.

After the initial shock of being rescued so violently Snape stepped forward and glared at Algernon who was smiling at him and he said softly in his most dangerous voice " I'll have my cloak back now", Algernon smiled wider and said "what if I don't want to give it back greasy, what if I like it and wish to keep it". But she took it off and threw it back anyway, Snape caught it and his face turned sour when he saw the holes made in the back by her spikes and looked like he was about to say something when Algernon snatched the cloak back and said "their you got it back, you didn't say it had to be for an extended period". She laughed loudly and ran to the door on the left that led to a part of Hogwarts that Harry had never been to and ran up the stairs with Yusuke following shaking his head but with a slight grin on his face, Harry was about to follow when he turned to the teachers and said "you cant get down that way, it caved in, you'll have to find another" and he was about to turn when a teacher asked "Potter is that you", Harry turned and saw Professor McGonagall standing forward looking both confused and hopeful. Harry smiled and nodded and ran up the stairs following Algernon and Yusuke.

He got to the top and stopped when he saw Algernon (in Snape's cloak again) standing still in her fighting stance staring straight ahead. Yusuke was also looking forward but was not standing as rigidly as Algernon, but he was definitely more attentive that Harry had yet seen him. He followed their gaze and saw Voldamort standing on the other side of the room with a sneer on his face looking calm. He smiled and said "well it if isn't the demon I left to die, brought some friends this time is see, but you have a flaw in your friends, their human and humans are very vulnerable to my attacks Avada Kedavra!" he yelled and a jet of green light came towards all three of them. Harry jumped out of the way quickly and hovered near the ceiling as the curse washed over Algernon and Yusuke. When the green light dissipated Algernon was of course unaffected, but Yusuke was on the ground facing up with his eyes open wide clearly dead.
