Yu Yu Hakusho Fan Fiction / Gundam Wing Fan Fiction / Sailor Moon Fan Fiction ❯ All Around the Anime Worlds ❯ Hell Hath no Fury Like a Heero Scorned (Perfect) ( Chapter 3 )
A/N- This will be a collection of many Songfics. Probably ranging from four or five, with multiple songs to describe them. They will not be in order. They will jump around and some will be longer and more frequent than others. This is an overall tribute to Alanis Morissette and her first two albums. Thanks again to my first reviewer Blackanese03. I hope you like the rest of this.
Disclaimer- I don't own the song 'Perfect' or any characters of Gundam Wing. And I am in no way making money off this tribute to the woman I consider to be one of the best Alternative Rockers out there.
Warning- H/OOC and possible future H/D paring. Till then, sadness and violence and one or two deaths.

Hell Hath No Fury Like A Heero Scorned
'Perfect'
*Sometimes is never quite enough*
Heero stood in the hallway, stunned at what had just happened. He hadn't meant to, he didn't even mean to say what he'd said. But he did and he couldn't change it now. Even with all his strength and cunning, he couldn't find a way to change the past. Not that he hadn't tried...
He knew they'd be after him soon. He had to move, he couldn't remain with the evidence. That would be stupid. But he still didn't know how it happened. He tried to go over the events leading up to that one moment when his life went from the pits of Hell, to worse.
He'd seen Relena walking down the hall and there were no doors in which to hide. He passed her and she tried to talk to him but he tuned her out. He knew she'd follow him, and he damned himself that he couldn't kill her, that they needed her for their plan to work. He damned the whole fucking human race.
*If you're flawless, then you'll win my love*
"Heero," she said softly when they reached his room. "I've found something. Something concerning you that I'd like for you to explain."
Heero looked at what she was handing him, it was an old battered photograph, but he knew it. It was a picture of him, his mother, his father, and his baby sister. "How did you get this," he asked the princess.
"It was in our archives, it appears our families were friends long ago..."
He let her in his room, ready to once more relive his horrible childhood memories, ready to explain why he was the way he was, ready to put himself through the ultimate misery again.
*Don't forget to win first place*
She sat across from the perfect pilot. He took a sip of some water from a glass. "This is my family," he said. "Or rather, this was my family. I'm about seven in this picture and my sister, Rose, is about five. It all started before then. This day was a good day. Good days were few and far between. I pitied out parents really, for the longest time. But when they finally turned on us, I stopped pitying them, I hated them.
*Don't forget to keep that smile on your face*
His fists shook, but he continued. "They always wanted us to be the best. When we learned to crawl, they pushed us to walk, when we learned to walk, they pushed us to run. It was always pushing to be the prodigy, never let anyone else be better. We tried so hard to make them happy, but it was never good enough.
"Everyone thought we had the life. Wealthy and educated, they never guessed that underneath our perfect clothes and pasted on smiles that we were bleeding and crying each night. Nobody ever knew what HE did to her, and how SHE let him. How HE killed her. My poor sister who never stood a chance against them.
"I suppose we were happy for a while, but I know that when I was about four it stopped being all happy and started turning to complete pain and chaos. But I wouldn't change how I coped or what I did to deal with them.
*Be a good boy*
"They were always sweet to us in public, only cruel when we were at home. HE'D go to work and SHE'D stay home with us. Then HE'D come home drunk, hit HER then abuse Rose and I.
Each day it was the same. Whenever HE'D come back, we'd always be wrong. Nothing we did was right. HE'D throw me against the wall, tell me how worthless I was and how HE'D kill me, and then HE'D take her before me, and show me what it was that made her cry each day. HE raped my sister, HIS daughter, in front of me."
Heero's fist slammed down with such force, that the shudder in the wood of his table caused his water glass to break.
*Try a little harder*
"I did all I could to make things okay for us. I'd make sure our homework was done and correct, our rooms were clean and spotless, and we were well dressed and washed, but it wasn't good enough for HIM. Nothing ever was.
"He knew I did it all. That SHE was too lazy to do it. So HE'D smack me about as well, only harder, I suppose because I was a guy."
*You've got to measure up*
"HE'D always tell me to be like HIM when I grew up, and I always thought, 'Not if I have any say in it you bastard'."
*And make me prouder*
"No matter how well I did, I always knew the second shoe would have to drop and it wouldn't be right. HE wanted perfection. SHE wanted HIM to be happy. I had no say in my life, THEY did."
*How long before you screw it up*
"After a while I ignored it all, and I only kept going for Rose. I tried to take as much blame as I could, but HE would still come to her at night."
*How many times do I have to tell you to hurry up*
"She knew what I was doing and appreciated me for it. She told me how much she loved me, and how I was the best big brother in the world."
*With everything I do for you*
"But she wrote about it in her diary, and THEY found it."
*The least you can do is keep quiet*
"One day SHE had us in the kitchen with Rose's diary on the table. We were waiting for HIM to get home, so HE could decide. HE read it, looked at me and dragged me into the closet, locking me inside. I only heard her screams. When HE let me out, she was crumpled on the floor, my poor baby sister. SHE was laughing and yelling at her and HE was yelling at her too. She was crying, all bruised and bloody. HE'D raped her again, but HE wasn't gentle this time."
*Be a good girl*
"That was it, I knew that things had to change and I wouldn't let HIM or HER hurt Rose ever again."
*You've got to try a little harder*
"Rose said she would help me, and I was grateful she still had the strength."
*That simply wasn't good enough*
"That night I found large knives in the kitchen drawers."
*To make us proud*
"I gave her one and I took the other, then we quietly went up the stairs."
*I'll live through you*
"We approached THEIR room and opened the door, as quiet as mice."
*I'll make you what I never was*
"THEY were dead asleep, something I found highly amusing at that point. We walked to THEIR bed."
*If you're the best, then maybe so am I*
"I never wanted to be like HIM or HER. THEY disgusted me and had to go."
*Compared to him compared to her*
"I aimed for HIS lungs so HE couldn't scream. Then I slit HIS throat. Rose was frozen by HER, she couldn't do it. So I did. I sliced HER open and let HER scream fill the air. SHE couldn't do a thing to stop me."
*I'm doing this for your own damn good*
"I knew that Rose couldn't be blamed now, she could have a semi normal life, I was proud of it, but she looked at me with terror in her eyes."
*You'll make up for what I blew*
"I was startled because she ran from me, something she'd never done. I went after her, calling her back. I caught her at the top of the stairs, she was screaming, 'We were only supposed to scare THEM,' she said to me. 'We weren't supposed to kill THEM!' I was shocked and amazed. THEY had tortured her for years and she didn't want THEM dead. I shook her, trying to knock some sense into her, but I lost my grip and she fell backwards, down the stairs, tumbling."
*What's the problem...why are you crying*
"I descended after her, searching for her, calling out for her. But she never answered. There she was at the foot of the stairs with her neck twisted the wrong way. I knew she was dead, and that I had killed her. I was crying so hard when the Doctor found me and took me to begin my training. He told me I had passed his test."
*Be a good boy*
"So you see Relena, he set me up to kill my entire family. Nobody was ever supposed to find out. Everyone thought some crazed lunatic did it, and maybe one did, but they also thought I'd been kidnapped or so mortified I'd lost my memory and run away. They never once guessed it was me who did it. Never. And I can't let anyone find out. So you see, you've sealed your fate by finding this picture and figuring out that it was me in it."
*Push a little farther now*
He raised his gun and pointed it at her face. "I'll never tell anyone Heero," she said calmly. "I swear I'll never breathe a word of what you told me."
*That wasn't fast enough*
"I know you won't Relena," he said and she sighed. He pulled the trigger and blew her brains in.
*To make us happy*
He walked down the hall, still not understanding how he'd killed her. But he had and it was done. Duo caught up with him. "Hey, Heero! Wait up! Somebody killed Relena!"
Heero turned to look the other Gundam pilot in the eye. "I know," he said softly.
Duo gasped when he saw the blood on Heero's clothes and the deadness in his eye. "Heero," he said and embraced his friend. "Nobody will know, I'll cover for you. They'll think it was a crazed lunatic."
Heero tilted his head when Duo pulled away. He grabbed his chin and positioned Duo's face so he had to look him in the eye. "It was a crazed lunatic Duo. Because it was me." He brought his friend's face closer and whispered. "Don't ever forget that."
Duo was shocked, but when Heero pressed his lips to his own he didn't care. They were standing in the hallway in a deep embrace and locked in a passionate kiss. Duo didn't care at all about Heero being insane, because he still loved the little bastard. Heero knew it. He knew that Duo was the only one he could trust. He wouldn't care if he was insane. He'd love him just as much, if not, more.
*We'll love you just the way you are if you're perfect*
