12: Old Friends and Second Mistakes

~*~*~*~*~The Next Day~*~*~*~*~

Vegeta's room was pitch black as I entered; the night before I had found out he had killed an "incompetent" serving-caretaker. So I had the duty of waking him up for the next while.

I was dreading it, actually really dreading it he hadn't eaten or had anything to drink and had all night to sleep off the effects of the anti-viagra and sleeping pill.

Touching the curtain I looked over at the bed cautiously. I opened the curtain letting the sun stream in and took in the view of the garden and grounds from his window before opening the balcony door and locking them in to place so they didn't slam shut.

Vegeta stirred and I looked over my shoulder at him. He opened his eyes and I walked up to him, me personally was partially suffering a hang over and I walked up to the bed.

"Are you awake sire?" I asked.

"I am now majo." He sat up and picked up his armour from the night before and discarded it down the laundry shoot. I picked out a new armour knowing he was going to be training today.

"Shall I run your bath?" I asked.

He just grunted and I took it as a yes and walked in to the lavish on suite bathroom and began to fill the tub adding the oils and things in to the water as it filled up.

Sitting on the side and waiting for the water to fill up. Added the different oils at the different level markings of the bath as required, having done this enough I knew what oil to place in and when, not that it really mattered, but apparently he noticed. When the bath was run and swirled my hand through the water mixing the oils and salts up.

I pulled my hand up cupping some of the water and letting it slid through my fingers. Standing up once I was satisfied with my work I grabbed a selection of towels and placed them on the rail beside the bath.

Turning round when I was done I saw him standing there looking at me, despite the anti-viagra there was still times when he worried me with his looks.

He walked up to me right in my face and I looked away, when he cupped my chin in his hand and pulled me in to him.

I felt the kiss it was hot and lust filled. Feeling the sting of the air around me. I knew he was in the mood. How long had Belle said the AV lasted? I wasn't too sure but I was panicked. Would I have to slip some to him in the mornings as well for my safety?

I was flung in to the wall and I grunted as the pain surged through me before he was over me hotly. His hands groping me and I was angered at this, I slapped at his hand as it reached lower, he would not do this to me. Not this morning. I refused.

I hit him again and again. He seemed only to get more turned on by it as I struggled against him.

"I have work to do!" I cried out.

"Your only true work majo is to please me and nothing more." I gasped as my top was ripped from me and he was over me, pinning my hands behind my back with only one hand.

I felt the pain surge up my arms at the angle he was holding my hands it hurt. I tried not to show pain but my face betrayed me and I gasped as he moved downwards and I swallowed. What on earth was he up to? I felt my skirt torn from me and I was in front of him naked, but he'd seen me like this plenty times.

Then I saw what he was up to, he was sneaky… really sneaky.

I sucked in a breath and felt my body twitch, he'd never gone down on me before, but forced me plenty of times to do that to him. I realized that he must have known he couldn't perform. The AV had lasted more than the entire night, so he was trying a reverse tactic. He was trying to turn me on.

Looking down at him and I was freaked out, but he was succeeding, he really was and I felt myself lifted up and placed sitting on to bathroom bench and I felt my body betray me as he continued pushing my legs farther apart. I really felt like some kind of whore.

~*~*Raine*~*~

"Raine? Raine!!" a voice practically yelled at me, ripping me from the comfort of sleep and into the harshness of the awake.

"What?" I replied none too happily. My vision cleared to show that Kuwabara was standing over me with a panicked look on his face.

"What's wrong?" I asked, my crankiness lost.

"It's Yaten!"

I hurried out of bed and followed Kuwabara as fast as I could run in my still half-asleep state to a clearing outside in the back of Turles' home. I rarely came here, so the place was still a little unfamiliar to me. We turned a corner to see Yaten lying on his side, making no attempt to get up.

"Get up weakling," Turles taunted as he stood over my friend with a smirk on his face. I glared and losing all sense, ran past Kuwabara and over to Yaten's side.

I heard him growl, "Move wench."

I turned to him with a glare, even baring my teeth before turning back to Yaten. Seeing him up close presented a nasty-looking bruise that covered almost all of the left side of his face and was quickly turning purple.

"What happened?" I whispered.

Yaten seemed dazed, trying to reply, but merely muttering gibberish. I held him to me protectively and turned back to Turles who suddenly seemed angrier. I lowered my brows, "Leave him alone!"

I caught Yusuke's arrival out of the corner of my eye. I didn't see their slack jaws, and even if I had, I probably wouldn't have paid them any mind. This bastard was bullying my friend and I never took something like that lightly.

"Why are you hurting him?" I demanded in a tone that I couldn't remember using in such a long time.

His brows rose in surprise and quickly narrowed as he crept towards me, "What I do to MY slaves…" he suddenly grabbed me by my dreads, earning a scream, "is MY business," the wind was suddenly knocked out of me as I felt a hard wall meet my back none too gently.

His hands suddenly grazed my breasts and his lips were against my ear, "Don't think I don't know…"

My heart raced as his chest pressed against mine.

"You already know the rules. If I find ANYTHING that resembles a mate's mark on your body, I will gladly rip him in two," he whispered harshly.

"I'm sure you've enjoyed these past few weeks in his bed instead of mine. Just remember that I am watching the both of you," I suddenly cried out loudly as I felt his hand suddenly slip under my skirt and felt his fingers within me.

"When I am well again, believe me when I say that I will take great pleasure in making you scream over and over until your voice is hoarse," he whispered before his hands slipped away from me and his presence was suddenly gone.

I shuddered and slipped to the floor, holding myself fearfully as I listened to his retreating footsteps. Kuwabara was at my side and I screamed when he reached to touch my arm. He retracted quickly, startled, "I-I'm sorry."

I shook my head and moved to stand up on my own, "It's alright."

I looked to see that Yusuke had already helped Yaten to his feet. I took a deep breath, "Not a word of this to anyone. Please."

They all nodded.

~*~*Belle*~*~

I sighed as I looked over at Sess, his gold eyes burning into mine across the kitchen and I blushed before looking away. His scent filled my nose, letting me know he was coming towards me. I closed my eyes as his hand wrapped around mine and he lead me out of the kitchen and pulled me close, grinding his hips to mine as he kissed me, taking my breath away. I gasped as he pulled back.

"What's gotten into you?" I whispered huskily before he began to nibble up and down my neck and I made a mewing noise before he pulled back.

"The desire to be buried in you," he whispered and I blushed at the comment.

"We can't, Bardock has plenty of messages for me to run and you have to assist him in the labs," I whispered and Sess nodded as he nipped at my neck, grazing me with his fangs again and again.

"Fine then I guess I will have to teach you a trick to occupy you while I'm gone," he whispered as he took my right arm, rubbing up and down it as if feeling for something. "Point your hand like this." He moved his hand out, straightening his fingers and thumb. I made the same pose with my hand as he looked at me with a smirk.

"Does this have a point?" I asked and he chuckled as his claws retracted slightly and a green mist sprayed out and I gasped. "What was that?"

"Poison gas, if I retracted my claws further it would have contained more liquid," he whispered. "Now try and retract your claws, while holding your hand that way." I nodded as I concentrated and cried out as a spray of blue mist expelled from my hand.

"Was that poison?!" I cried as I looked at him and he sniffed the air.

"A weaker poison than mine, but stronger acid," he stated and my eyes widened.

"Acid!" I cried and he chuckled.

"Yes, the excretion is poison in gas form and acid in liquid form," he stated and I blinked.

"That's…good to know," I whispered as I looked at my hand and relaxed my hand and tried to retract my claws. "It doesn't escape if my hand isn't tense."

"No, it won't. Practice, if you do well, I'll reward you greatly," he whispered into my ear and I shivered at the prospects before I quickly went to deliver packages. Of course, Bardock demanded that they be delivered one at a time instead of all at once. I'd be busy all morning.

I raced from Vegeta room trembling. Man that had been such a power trip. The king of Saiyans almost kneeling before me, I stumbled a bit as I ran and looked back quickly to see Nappa looking at me and he smirked. I raced on. I made it to my barracks and shut the door fast slamming it almost and let out a relieved breath.

I looked down at my hands they were still shaking and I collapsed to my knees, he got a real satisfaction in that… and I placed my face in my hands. I felt really humiliated, he knew he couldn't perform and he was still able to torture me like that.

"Jay?" I looked up. Melfina was sitting on her bunk and I looked up at her. "Are you okay?"

"I'm fine…" I felt my arms trembling as I pushed myself up to stand up still shakily.

She looked at my sympathetic. "Did you have a bad morning?"

"I did… but he didn't…" I sighed.

Melfina looked at me. "Didn't the Anti-viagra work?" She asked. Wolfwood had informed her on everything so far, so she knew.

"It worked. It was still effect. I think he's catching on." I looked down Melfina smiled at me and took my wrist.

"Come with me I want to show you something only us laundry people know about."

"Uhhhh… okay." I followed her as she led me out, curiosity getting the best of me.

~*~*Raine*~*~

"He's been looking for excuses to harass him lately," Kuwabara said.

"He thinks we are involved," Yaten glared down at his food, poking at it with his eating utensil.

I sighed, not hungry myself. I sat back, folding my arms.

"Do you think he's suspicious of the powder?" Yusuke muttered.

I shook my head, "He would've said so, I think. He thinks he's sick or something. As long as he thinks it's just that."

"But what if he touches you again?" Kuwabara asked with concern.

The look on his face made me frown and I shook my head, "It's a small price I'll have to pay for him not being able to rape me again. As long as he's just making threats and not actually going through with them."

My grip tightened and I shook my head, "As long as I'm not in his bed."

"But after the way you reacted?" Kuwabara said.

"I could just avoid him," I said.

"And he'll just threaten Yaten to draw you out," Yusuke said.

I looked up at Yaten, dread coming over me. I couldn't take watching that monster touch him. Yaten and I had grown so close over the year. I didn't have a name for what we had. It wasn't like what I had with Zarbon, but it was just as important.

"Will you tell Zarbon?" Yaten asked in almost a whisper.

Kuwabara blinked, "Why does he need to know?"

Yusuke tilted his head to the side. I think he had caught on. I shook my head, "No. It wouldn't help."

"Yaten, please avoid him at all costs," I looked at him.

He nodded, "You don't have to tell me twice."

~*~*Belle*~*~

I walked down the hallway, gently running my claws along the marble columns as I passed them. I stopped suddenly and blinked, there was the sound of footsteps and I turned to look at see an empty hallway behind me. I blinked.

"Jim? Jim, honey, is that you?" I asked, blinking. I shrugged and looked at the package, it was to someone I had never met. "Lord Hiten…I wonder what he is?" I shook my head as I followed the direction Bardock had left me and stood before a door, I was dressed in a white, Grecian style robe that covered a leotard-like shirt with long sleeves and a high neck. I looked at the door before hiding the directions in my pocket and knocking on the large doors. The creature I saw terrified me, his large mouth was filled with teeth and his eyes narrowed when he saw my slave collar. I bowed quickly.

"What do you want, wench!" he demanded and I steeled myself up against his frightening appearance.

"I've come to see Lord Hiten with a package from Lord Bardock," I said as clearly and as calmly as I could manage. "May I venture to ask if you are Lord Hiten?"

"I am Lord Manten, why should it matter? I will give the package to my brother," the creature growled before attempting to take the package from me, but I moved back quickly, bowing my head.

"My Lord bid me to hand this package to Lord Hiten and Lord Hiten alone," I did not meet the eyes of the creature but I could smell his rage. I used my scent masking trick to keep from giving off a reaction.

"Manten, leave the serving wench alone, she is obviously well trained, preparing to be punished by you for obeying her Master's orders," a voice called and I kept my head down. "Bring the wench in and get lost, little brother." I felt ill, another one like this one. Sometimes I truly loathed this life, but Sess made it worth it, everything was worth being with Sess. I stood in the main parlor as Manten lead me into another room, a bath, much like Zarbon's. In the center pool with two concubines with blank eyes sat with a man, he was incredibly handsome and I suddenly realized that his scent was like Sess and Hiei's….he was a Yamainu!

~*~*J'dee*~*~

I stopped outside the slaves common room and Melfina smiled at me and I shook my head. "No I can't go in there…"

"It's not really going in there it's a short cut, besides everyone is working except for the old man."

We entered and I was right save for the old man Melfina said everyone nicknamed 'Moth' it was empty.

He smiled at me. "Nice to see you again."

"You too."

We walked thought past the now boarded doors of the branding room, obviously to prevent my earlier stunt of happening again. Melfina walked up to a door then Moth just nodded. We entered it was a napping room and she pulled the couch out from the wall to reveal a wall and I looked at her. She pushed at the wall and it suddenly slipped in to a secret passageway.

"There are three passage ways in this castle the normal ones, the ones the servants know about and then these ones." She explained.

I followed her in and she pulled the couch back to cover the entranceway and placed the secret door back into place.

Walking through them was like entering a medieval castle with the long brick walls and the fire torches reminded me of that stairwell in the movie queen of the damned that Lesat followed.

We reached a secret area indoors and the pools were vast and loon and on either side of the walk way there were a few girls soaking and Melfina smiled and said her greeting as she passed. She was so carefree even though the brand on her shoulder marked her as the kings laundry slave.

She stopped at the end and smiled and pushed the door open and inside I blinked as I saw someone who reminded me of the old American Indian shamans and he was sitting inside a circle.

"Melfina." He smiled and she led me up to him.

"This is Jay she has a problem with the kings… uh…." She looked at me.

"Say no more. Sit child."

I sat and he motioned me forward more and I shuffled up to him closer so we were sitting opposite each other and he took my hands and placed a small brown pouch in them.

"I may not be able to prevent the desires the king has for you whether or not he… is functioning properly or not. But this should help ease your fear that seeks from you, but be careful of the use."

"I don't know when he is… uh…" I paused for a moment. "Until it's too late." I finished.

"You will be tending to him for a few months I can see that, he takes his time in picking serving care-takers. They do not last too long with him. But this should help you."

"What does it do?" I asked.

"It will help your sleeping powers of reading emotions and intuitions enhance." He explained. "Take it in the morning before dealing with him, it will give you a feeling and you will know whether or not this morning occurrence will be happening again."

"But will that stop him?" I asked.

"No but if you slip this in to the bath it's a relaxing agent the fumes will help and he will become too relaxed to perform anything. Of course it will affect you to."

He slipped me a small bottle of oil.

"Thank-you."

"One or two drops are required, anymore and it becomes a sedative."

I smiled. "Thank-you again."

"Now go child relax in one of our various pools until it's time to meet up with your friends."

I smiled and thanked him again before standing up and following Melfina out.

Once we were out Melfina led me to a hot pool and I looked at her. "Has he been stationed there the entire time?" I asked curious.

"As long as I've been here. Longer, he helps us with invisibility potions if we need to use the hallways. We don't become invisible but it helps the saiyans not notice us. It saved my life a number of times when I went looking for my friends Gene and Jim." She explained.

We stripped down before slipping in to the pools and I let the water relax my tense muscles and I let out a sigh. Sliding down further in to the water.

~*~*Raine*~*~

I almost wanted to slap him! I stopped in my walk, causing him to stop as well. I turned to him, "Yaten, don't you DARE even entertain that idea!"

He had told me that while he was doing labor, Turles had come by taunting and cursing at him, as if he'd had nothing better to do. Well aware of Turles' inability to perform for the past few weeks, he decided to subtly ask of how I was faring with Turles' sex drive. Turles, like many of his cave man brethren, felt a strike at his pride and attacked Yaten with a punch to the face. That made me mad, but what almost made me violent was the fact that Yaten suggested that he was asking for it!

"If you ever say that again, I'll slap you myself," I glared at him with all honesty.

He threw his hands in the air in defense, "Alright! Alright, it wasn't my fault."

I sighed, "Good."

We got outside of Turles' house and came to sit on the steps leading to his door. Yusuke and Kuwabara were still working in the kitchen. Yaten was just seeing me to the door. It seemed he still preferred his solitude to my new friends. I blinked.

"They seemed awfully anxious to meet my friends," I said.

Yaten didn't look up, "Maybe they know one of them. Or just want to put faces to the people you talk about."

My brows knitted in thought, "Maybe."

I got up, "Well, I'd better head off."

Yaten got up, placing a hand on my shoulder and heading back inside. I turned to see one of Zarbon's guards already leaning against a column. I smiled lightly and headed down the steps.

~*~*Belle*~*~

"So this is Bardock's newest slave, no wonder he sent her to me as soon as I arrived," Hiten chuckled as he got up and out of the pool. He was naked and I looked down as he approached me. I was still not used to this lack of caring with the whole nudity thing. "She is lovely isn't she, ladies."

"May I assume that you are Lord Hiten?" I asked, looking at his feet. He stood in front of me as I cradled the package in my arms.

"You would assume correctly," he stated and I bowed lower, holding out the package.

"Lord Bardock ordered me to bring you this package, Lord Hiten," I said and let my head hang down as I offered him the package. He took it and his hands stroked my shoulder and I bit back a growl. "Lord Hiten, I am a mated woman."

"That doesn't matter to me, you are a slave first, then you are whoever you are," he stated as he grabbed my chin and forced my face up. "I may request Bardock lend me you." I bowed my head and bit back my rage.

"Lord Hiten, I think you would find yourself having to wait. I am the wet nurse for the child of Lord Kakarot, the child will need me for another two years. I'm sure you may try and buy me off of Lord Bardock after my use has expired in that area," I said as I looked into Hiten's red eyes.

"You don't beg me to buy you nor beg me not to," he stated and I noted the lack of interest in his eyes.

"Lord Hiten, I am a simple slave, my fate belongs to him with the greatest desire to own me with my skills as a wet-nurse, serving-caretaker," I stated. Hiten's eyes spoke of his disinterest with me and he waved me away.

"Go back to your master," he sighed as he turned to examine the package and I exited the chambers quickly, rushing down a few corridors before leaning against the wall and panting. Letting my fear and adrenaline escape my mask.

"Clever, hiding your scent until you are a safe distance from a keen nose," a voice said and I whipped around to face a tall man. His golden brown eyes bore into my own and I took in his silver hair, so similar to Sess's that I nearly mistook him for my mate. He was tall and regal looking in his white robes, much like Gene's when he attacked me. I took in his scent, he was also a Yamainu.

"Who are you?" I demanded as I took in the triangular ears on the top of his head and fought the urge to touch.

"I go by the name Yoko Kurama," he said with a bow and I return the bow.

"Belle Andrews," I stated as I took him in. "What do you want, Yoko?"

"Kurama," he stated as he began to circle me and instincts I didn't know I had forced me to circle him as he circled me.

"Belle, now what do you want, Kurama?" I demanded. I stressed my hand, I was prepared to use my poison if need be.

"Funny, you were so easy to read a moment ago, now you're hidden," he muttered and I bit back a growl, my lip curling a bit. "Who are you?" I took in another scent and I turned to look at the pillar.

"I don't know what you want Hiei, but go away, this is obviously not a good time for me," I barked and Hiei stepped out.

"You have keen senses for a human," Kurama whispered and I realized he had to be practically against my back and I ducked to the ground, rolling backwards between his legs and flipping onto my feet.

"I don't know what you two want but leave me alone!" I cried before running off faster than I usually did and slipping into the first secret passage I came to.

~*~*J'dee*~*~

Vash sat by the Gazebo. Jay and Melfina had joined them even though Melfina had work in a few minutes, it was just a quick dip, both girls seeming like water babies at that moment splashing around.

Wolfwood walked up and plonked himself down and looked on. "They seem to be getting along great don't you think?"

"Yeah, it's nice to see her happy. Though I can still feel something happened this morning she was longer than usual when waking Vegeta."

"The AV should have still been in affect though…" Wolfwood looked on.

Finally Melfina came running out of the water and Jay followed and rung her hair out. She smiled at Vash. "Now it's a swim suit." She remarked to the blue courtesan outfit she wore with the flapping sleeves.

Vash pulled a towel out and handed it to her and she plonked down on the grass and began to dry herself off.

"Well I'm off I'll see you three later." Melfina smiled and waved and she raced of before saying hi to Raine who, she didn't even know, but was just arriving at that moment.

~*~*Raine*~*~

When I arrived at the gazebo, a short young girl walked past, greeting me before leaving. I blinked, waving back silently and walking past her to meet up with the others. Just by looking at her, I felt her innocence and sweetness radiate from her. It almost made me smile. I turned to the others, "Hey."

A round of greetings went about and I plopped down next to Jay and waited for Belle and Sess to arrive.

~*~*Belle*~*~

I smiled as I reached the gazebo to see the others there and I shook off the day's weirdness and placed Gohan down. Letting the infant crawl after a butterfly before I walked over to a stone.

"Want to see something cool?" I asked as I looked over at Raine, Jay, Vash, and Nicholas.

"Why not?" Vash asked as he turned his attention to me and I tossed the stone into the air with my left hand, stretching my right into the position Sess showed me. I watched the stone as it fell and shot my hand out, retracting my claws and hitting the stone with a blast of my acid. Nothing hit the ground and I smirked as I raised my hand up and made a fist.

"Whoa…" Jay whispered and I smirked as I looked at them.

"Cool or what?" I asked as I quickly grabbed Gohan from the edge of the lake and took the small basket I had with me. "Now to take care of this little troublemaker." I put a harness on Gohan and attached him to a tree, which he began to walk around as I pulled out the blue cloth that Zarbon gave me.

"What's that?" Nicholas asked and I smiled as I looked at the cloth.

"It's going to be an outfit for Taisho, his birthday gift," I whispered as I looked at the ground. "I'm going to make it from this material and embroider a white and black dog on the back as well as a crescent moon on the front."

"Belle," Raine started and I shook my head.

"It's nothing, I just….I miss him, I will always miss my son," I said before I began to work on his gift.

"What is that thread you're using?" Nicholas asked and I smirked as I held up the strand of white.

"Sess's and my hair," I stated. "It's a canine thing."

"Ah," was the reply.

~*~*J'dee*~*~

We arrived back at the barrack and I smiled as I saw Melfina had got us dinner and I was thankful as I picked up the plate of food and sat down on my bunk. "Mmmmmm non greasy non sugary…"

Vash frowned. "But what about my donuts?"

"They're over there but you gotta have something stable in your diet first Vash." She stated.

Vash looked at the donuts.

Wolfwood picked up the plate and sat down it was a form of vegetable based soup with small meaty chunks through it, and he smiled. "I'm happy with this."

Vash sat down taking his plate but every so often I'd notice him shuffle towards the donuts and I shook my head and smiled, he was just to cute.

~*~*Raine*~*~

"Something's bothering you," Zarbon murmured before his lips covered mine again.

It took a lot of self-control not to rip open his shirt, but I manage, "What makes…you think…that…something's wrong?"

"I don't know," he moved to nibble on my ear, which sent chills down my spine, "You just seem distracted."

I gently pulled away, only to have him attack my neck, "How can I be distracted with you leaving all your hickeys on me? And must I remind you that we're supposed to keeping this under wraps?"

"I'm trying," he said before I jumped when I felt his hands slipping past my waist. I quickly grabbed his hands and kept them at bay.

"Zarbon…" I took on a warning tone. "I thought we both promised that we wouldn't let things escalate. We came here to talk like a couple of civilized adults."

He kissed me again, wrapping me in his warm embrace, "Yes, but we finished talking."

"And now you wanna skip to shagging," I managed to get from his lips to breathe. I still couldn't help but smile at him. He knew I was right and didn't deny it. He sighed and sat back, bringing me with him.

"What's wrong?" he suddenly asked.

I blinked, "What makes you think something's wrong?"

He gave me a look. I quickly averted my eyes and moved out of his embrace, standing up, "Maybe I should head home for dinner."

"Now wait a minute, I thought you were having dinner with me," Zarbon stood up.

I shrugged, "I dunno. This seems more like an interrogation than an invitation to dinner."

Zarbon sighed and finally gave in, "Alright, I won't bring it up again."

I smiled and turned back to him, "Thank you, because there's nothing to bring up."

He sighed again and rolled his eyes before slipping an arm around my waist and guiding me to his dining area. He didn't need to know about it, simple as that. Right now I just wanted to sit down to a peaceful dinner with my significant other before hurrying home.

I carried Gohan back for dinner, letting him feed before placing him in a highchair and feeding him some mushy solids before taking care of Kakarot's dinner. It was a quiet meal for the most part save the fact Raditz seemed a little roughed up.

"So…Raditz, what happened to your face, it seems uglier than normal?" Kakarot asked and the older brother growled before looking down.

"Turles has found some sort of motivation in the gym, it seems he's truly getting ready for the tournament," Raditz grumbled as he rubbed a bruise.

"So Turles is training harder than normal, guess I'll have to do the same if I'm to beat him," Kakarot chuckled and Raditz glared at his brother before snorting.

"You'll never beat Turles if you can't beat me," Raditz commented and I rolled my eyes as I returned to the kitchen and looked at Sess.

Dinner finished and the two sons were off again, leaving a sleeping Gohan and a brooding Bardock in his place.

"Dog, come, I need your assistance again, for only a little bit," he said and I looked at Sess before I quietly whispered that I was heading to the gazebo.

~*~*Raine*~*~

I waved to Yaten before walking off with Yusuke and Kuwabara in tow. They were finally gonna meet the gang. They seemed awfully anxious to meet them. I mentally shrugged. It was probably just my paranoia talking.

"So did he find out?" Yusuke suddenly asked and I turned to him.

"No. He has enough on his mind without worrying about Turles' idle threats," I placed my hands on my hips.

"He's still gonna be suspicious," he said.

I shrugged, "Let him be."

"You're absolutely sure they'll be here?" Kuwabara spoke up.

I blinked and looked at him, "Yeah. We always meet at the gazebo unless someone's in trouble or something. They should all be there."

We turned the usual corner to see Jay, Wolfwood and Vash already there. I couldn't fight off a grin. I imagined this meeting would be very interesting.

"Jay." She looked at me.

We arrived at the Gazebo to find Raine there with her friends and I smiled and sat down on the grass.

"Jay." Raine smiled. "I'd like you to meet my friends."

"Hey-yo." I greeted and flopped back on to the grass.

"He's in her lazy mode at the moment." Vash explained and smiled at them. "I'm Vash and this Wolfwood and the sleepy one is Jay."

I started walking through the wooded area when I caught the scent of two people. I stopped and looked around, my ears and eyes searching and my nose confirming there were two, their exact scents hidden under very smelling cleaning solution. I couldn't fight back the growl, my new Yamainu instincts screamed at me to fight or run, but I didn't feel like running. Whoever these were, they weren't Saiyans.

"Come out! I know you're there so just come out or go away!" Then I heard footsteps quickly moving to block me off and I ran for the path to the gazebo. Suddenly Kurama was in my way and I used my agility to dive over a bush and dodge an incoming black flash that was Hiei. I snarled as I bared my fangs before doing a flip over another bush and running for the gazebo, I could hear Raine and Jay laughing. I growled back at my pursuers before racing towards the gazebo. I rushed out of the wooded area, knowing that Kurama and Hiei wouldn't come out yet.

"Belle, what's wrong?" Jay asked and I looked at her before turning back to glare at the wooded area.

"I'm being harassed by that damn runt I saved yesterday and he brought a much larger friend to help!" I panted, my fangs exposed as I gasped for air, I was so mad, my vision was blurring as I tried to calm down.

"Whoa, are you okay?" a voice asked and I looked up to see a young man with dark hair and I took in his scent. Another Yamainu.

"Another one," I sighed as I looked at him and then at another young man with curly red hair. "Two of them." I got up and looked back snarling at the trees before turning to see the others look at me. "IT'S INSTINCT LEAVE ME ALONE ABOUT IT!"

"Okay," Jay said quickly.

"Belle, these two are Yusuke Urameshi and Kazuma Kuwabara…" Raine started and I looked at them.

"Did you realize they are Yamainu?" I asked as I turned back to glare at the woods, detecting movement.

"I didn't really know for sure, but they did make me think of…" Raine started but I quickly snarled and clicked my teeth together with a loud snap as I noticed a flash of white.

"They don't want to attack and they can't see us too well," I growled low. I turned back to Yusuke and Kazuma before bowing. "I'm Belle Andrews and obviously a little distracted right now." I caught moment and I growled. "That's it! Come out and get this over with Hiei! Kurama! I'm not afraid of either of you and I want to know why you're harassing me!"

"Hiei!" Yusuke cried.

"Kurama!" Kazuma cried and the two of them rushed towards the woods and I blinked.

"They…they know each other?" I stammered as I looked at the other.

"Don't look at us, Love, we just met them," Nicholas stated and I turned to watch as the four entered the clearing together. Kazuma talking to Kurama as Yusuke thumped Hiei on the back several times. I narrowed my eyes as I watched them come closer and stop a little distance away from me.

"I guess we should explain a little," Kurama said as he looked at me. "Yusuke, Kuwabara, Hiei, and I were all friends back on Tenrousei before Naraku stole the throne from our Prince. That is how we know each other, now we all would like to know about you…Belle…why are you graced with fangs, claws, and other Yamainu traits?" There was a dangerous look between the four and I watched in amazement as all of them moved at once, all far faster than I thought possible and I quickly pushed Vash and Jay back as they stepped up beside me.

"Stop this at once!" a voice cried out and I nearly cried with relief as I rushed to where I knew Sess was.

Sesshomaru finally arrived and all attention was turned away, and I mean ALL attention. I blinked and looked to Yusuke and Kuwabara to see shocked looks on their faces. My brow rose as I looked to him and back at them. All the questions led me to believe that they wanted to meet Belle. Was Sess the one they were so anxious to meet?

I looked at the four guys and raised a brow they were obviously shocked to see Sess, then again I wasn't shocked to see him I saw him every day, but then again he was their prince.

"Don't cha just love the reuninons?" I asked. Though it was short of sarcasm, jealousy namely they could see their prince and I couldn't even stop to talk to Steve when I saw him. I was angry. Damn Vegeta I hated him even more.

I stood beside Sess as he looked at the four and I noted the look of happiness in his eyes even if his face was in a mask of indifference. I smirked as I realized he was a master of hiding his emotions except I could read him now.

"I'm relieved to see the four of you have managed to stay alive, however, I have to wonder why you attacked Belle," he stated and I noticed the way he neglected to mention the fact I was his mate and I smirked. He was up to something and I would play along for now.

"My Prince," Kurama said as he bowed deeply towards Sess. "I had brought Hiei to make him admit he owed her a life-debt when we realized that she was…tainted. We merely wished to see which she was actually and decide what to do with her." I looked at Sess and he shook his head.

"I see now, you're infatuated with the little mixed-breed. Whatever could she be good for?" Hiei asked as he shook his head and I noticed his scent was funny and I smirked as I looked at the bandana he wore over his head. I smirked at him before sniffing and walking over to him.

"Mixed-breed am I?" I chuckled and Hiei suddenly looked unhappy with my proximity. "Well, isn't that the pot calling the kettle black?" I quickly pulled off his headband to look at his third eye. "Guess I'm not the only mixed-breed am I?" Hiei growled before trying to grab the bandana from me.

"Give that back!" he cried and I began a game of keep away as I laughed.

"Let me guess," I began to sniff leaning in to sniff his forehead. "Paternal grandfather was Sanjiyan?" I giggled as Hiei turned bright red and began to chase me I laughed before ducking behind Sess, Hiei stopping in front of him.

"Order your bitch to give me back my bandana!" Hiei snapped and I laughed as I danced out from behind Sess, said bandana a bow in my hair.

"Who says I do anything he orders me to do?" I teased and I noticed the looks of amusement from my friend and the three Yamainu.

"Belle, stop irritating Hiei, he's got a short temper," Sess stated and I giggled.

"That's not all that's short," I stated as I pulled the bandana out of my hair and gave it to Hiei.

"How did you know my paternal grandfather was Sanjiyan? You couldn't tell by scent alone," he growled as he covered his third eyes.

"Simple, you smell more Yamainu than Sanjiyan, in fact Sanjiyan is barely even noticeable on you. So I guessed that it had to be a grandparent or you wouldn't have that eye. So I figured it had to be a Y-chromosome trait, meaning your father had a third eye, you have a third eye and possibly your sons will have the third eye before the trait is canceled out by the Yamainu DNA," I said and smirked before standing by Sess. "…and your grandfather was probably exposed to Yamainu DNA in a regeneration tank, like I was. The tank altering him enough to enable him to breed with a Yamainu female."

"Belle's good at guessing games," Jay said as she smiled.

"No, I just know you too well," I stated as I stayed near Sess.

I was surprised as Kuwabara and Yusuke told us of their history with Sesshomaru. I had never asked what their species was, so perhaps that was on me. I had always had some deep feeling that there was more to them than just their human appearance and elfin ears. They were Yaimanu and they served under Sesshomaru. Wow, it must've blown their minds to know that their prince and now newly dubbed princess were right under their noses.

I listened as Kurama explained their planets stations and their positions a how they were Sess's right hand men, these planets and theirs rules and stations, I was never really good at fully understanding them and instead plucked at a stray blade of grass.

Vash took my other hand in his as he listened he was all about understanding and I admired him for that, but seriously I had such and A.D.D problem since high school, I'd have to have him explain it further to me in private so I didn't make and ass about my self asking about something that they probably assumed everyone else would of picked up easily.

"So, you've been in the palace all this time," Sess said quietly as he took a seat in the gazebo, giving me a look and I sat down next to him. All of the others taking seats on the gazebo or the stairs.

"Well, Kuwabara and I were shoved around among the Elites for a bit before Vegeta gave us to Turles," Yusuke said as he clenched his fist, drawing blood when his claws broke the skin of his palms.

"Hiei and I were sold the same day to different Elites. We were bought by Brolli and have managed to keep from being seen by him," Kurama said. "I…I haven't found Shuichi yet, but I've heard rumors, his slave transport never made it back, I think Koga may have intercepted and taken the ship without leaving survivors."

"Koga has been freeing those of us he can, sadly, he dares not step on to Vegitasei," Sess sighed and I reached out taking his hand in mine.

"What about Prince Inu Yasha?" Kazume asked. "I haven't seen or smelt him around. Has Koga sent you a message about him?" Sess shook his head and I blinked. Who was Inu Yasha? I'd have to ask Sess later about it.

"No word on my brother's location, I do not know if he even lives," Sess sighed and I squeezed his hand.

"Wow, Sess has a brother, I didn't know that. Did you know Belle?" Jay asked and I shook my head, giving her a look that said we should let the five of them talk.

"And why should she know anything about Prince Sesshoumaru's brother?" Hiei asked, stressing Sess's full name. Jay gave him a glare before Raine stepped in.

"Because Belle happens to be Prince Sesshoumaru's life mate and wife," Raine said coolly before crossing her arms.

"So that would make her Princess Belle to you." I hid a smirk as all four jaws dropped.

"What? WHAT? What the hell possessed you to mate with a wench like her?" Hiei cried and I smiled as I leaned against Sess. "She doesn't even have a tail!"

"I'm noticing a lack of tail on your part too, buddy," I growled and Raine and Jay both smirked as Vash chuckled and Nicholas nodded.

"Let me see the proof!" he demanded and I looked at Sess before he nodded and I pulled down the neck of my leotard shirt and let Hiei see the blue bite mark on my shoulder.

"Belle! How long have you had that?" Nicholas cried.

"Since my first night with Sess, I have to keep it covered in case one of the Saiyans sees it and recognizes it," I said and the others all nodded.

~*~*Raine*~*~

"Heie and I are cleaning slaves for Brolli," Kurama explained.

"Raine already knows that we're cleaning slaves for Turles. We were supervised under Faye until…" Kuwabara frowned, seeing as how he was sure we all knew already.

"What of you?" Kurama looked at me and I suddenly felt on the spot again.

"A-A caretaker. For Turles," Yusuke said quickly and I blinked.

I wanted to smile. I'd have to thank him later. Kuwabara plopped down beside me. I sighed and whispered, "I'll have to thank him for that."

"You know I would've thought of something if he hadn't beat me to it," he muttered and I smiled.

"I'm sure you would."

"'Cause the thought of anyone trying to hurt you upsets me," he twiddled his fingers and blinked. I smiled, "Thank you Kuwabara. I didn't know you cared so much."

"Oh I do! It's just that Urameshi hardly lets me get a word in," he said.

"He doesn't let you talk to me?" I asked.

He grumbled, "Nope. In fact, I was gonna ask you to dinner, but he'd probably hit me."

I suddenly blushed, feeling put on the spot, "You wanted to ask me to dinner?"

"Well yeah!" he said and I suddenly felt at a loss for words.

"Back off Kazuma! Don't you have any dignity?" Yusuke showed up out of nowhere, thumping him on the head. I was left to silently and surprisedly watch Yusuke beat on the guy.

Vash told Kurama of his and Wolfwood's working stations and attention was suddenly turned towards Jay. Kurama looked at her, "You're awfully quiet."

I frowned.

They told us their stations since coming here and I looked down they were asking about our stations.

"Oooh me and Wolfwood are kitchen slaves too." Vash remarked to Kuwabara and Yusuke. Who had mentioned their station.

"You're awfully quiet." Kurama noted of me and I looked up at him. "I belong to the king. That's all you need to know." I let out a sigh, that morning flashing before my eyes and I cringed clutching the grass. It hurt to be reminded of what I was. No one else needed to know. Especially when I wanted just a moment's peace and not a constant reminder of my position.

I smiled as Yusuke finished beating up Kazuma for hitting on Raine. Then I noticed Kurama's eyes on me.

"So, what was your profession before you were taken and became the mate of my cousin?" he asked and I blinked.

"Cousin?" I looked at Sess and he nodded.

"Our mothers were sisters," he explained and I smiled.

"That explains the family resemblance," I teased and they chuckled.

"I was going to be a pharmacist," I said and then looked at the blank looks. "Okay, you don't recognize that words so I guess I should just say I was studying to be able to make medicines," I said.

"She's pretty good at it," Vash said as he winked at Jay and Raine. The two rolled their eyes.

"OH! So you're the one who made that little present for Turles," Yusuke said with a grin and an evil chuckle. "That was a good one!"

"What are you talking about?" Hiei asked Yusuke.

"Belle here created an anti-aphrodisiac for males," Nicholas said as he smoke with Jay. "Yusuke and Kuwabara must have helped slip it to Turles for Raine."

"Definitely," Kazume growled. "I hate how he treats his slaves, especially the women."

"You're a good guy," Jay said and then smirked. "Vash and Wolfwood slipped the stuff to Vegeta." Then Yusuke and Kazume began to laugh like jackasses as Kurama chuckled and Hiei smirked.

"You chose well Sesshoumaru," Kurama chuckled as he got up. "It is getting late and I must head back if I wish to keep my head tomorrow and suddenly I realized something.

"Oh….shit!" I hissed as I grabbed Jay. "What's today?!"

"It would be the fifth day of October back home," she said. "Why?" I dropped her and I wandered over to Sess.

"Zarbon's. NOW!" I hissed as I began to drag Sess along, the others following of course, this time with four extras.

"Belle? What's wrong?" Raine asked.

"What is wrong with your female, Sesshoumaru?" Hiei demanded and I turned around to snap at him.

"I'm late!" I hissed and turned to head towards Zarbon's this time Sess froze.

"Late…as in…." he seemed shocked.

"Oh don't you dare act surprised, Mr. Whenever you Desire!" I growled as I grabbed his wrist and began to lead him.

"Does she mean what I think?" Nicholas asked.

"Well with the way they are…" Jay started but decided to stop when Sess and I both began to growl.

I pushed Raine forward in front of Zarbon, "You ask. He liiiiiikes you." I smirked. Her cheeks heated up and she looked back at me. I just flashed a grin.

I grumbled at her, my cheeks growing hot and red as a teasing look suddenly crossed Yusuke's face. I sighed and turned to face Zarbon, smiling impishly, "Hey."

"Hey," he replied in all calmness and formality.

"Um, we need a favor…" I twiddled my fingers.

~*~*Belle*~*~

I sighed as I lay on the table and the physician entered and chuckled to see me again.

"Well, it's good to know you've recovered after the last attempt," he chuckled as he pressed the buttons and the scanner popped up, moved over me and then got sucked back down into the table. "Very nice, you're having twins." I felt my eyes bulge and I heard Zarbon's jaw hit his chest.

"What?" I asked and the physician chuckled before heading out.

"Belle?" Sess asked as he entered and suddenly the room was filled and I sat there. Neither Zarbon nor I moving.

"You tell him," Zarbon said and I glared at the green alien.

"What do you think I was going to do?!" I cried as I jumped off the table. "Well, prepare for another birth." I shook my head. "This one is going to be double the fun."

"Double the fun?" Jay asked and Raine was the first to hug me.

"Twins! She's going to have twins!" Raine said as she hugged me around the neck and Jay smiled before catching me in a group hug.

"Congratulations again, Sess," Nicholas said.

"The fun of morning sickness doubled, you're not getting out of this one unscathed," Vash teased Sess.

"What does he mean, again?" Kurama asked.

"Yea, Sess, what gives?" Yusuke asked and Sess sighed.

I smiled, releasing her to fully grasp the announcement. Criminy, these two must've been in heat since they first mated! Already on three kids and they'd only been together for over a year! I smiled and headed over to Zarbon as Belle would drop yet another bomb on our newcomers.

"Awwww that is such and sweetest thing." I smiled at Belle. "Man I'd like kids one day but if I even got pregnant Vegeta would kill it. And me." I remarked but I smiled for her. "Congrats girl at least you are having a family and I know you'll be with them one day. Even if you have to send them away for now."

"Wow… Twins…" Wolfwood just blinked and Vash stood there grinning away.

"No way! I wanna see!" Kuwabara cried as he approached me and I looked up at him as the group of Yamainu gathered around me. I pulled out my necklace and chose my favorite image.

Taisho appeared life sized at my feet, his large eyes shining as he held up the device whatever it was and giggled and he began to play with it, he smiled before he got up, tottering a bit and walking over to someone, her knees appeared as he stumbled over, his little tail wagging happily as he held up the device. She reached for it but he pulled it away. Then there was a male cry and I watched as Taisho began to crawl under some sort of furniture as Koga tried to grab him. I heard Yusuke and Kurama chuckle.

"That was definitely Sesshoumaru's heir," Kurama said.

"Yes, but he sadly has his mother's personality," Hiei stated and I glared at the short Yamainu.

"Don't worry about Taisho, he's going to be in good hands," I said as I put my necklace away.

"Are you kidding, Koga's an idiot," Yusuke laughed.

"I expect Ayame will be doing more of the raising then Koga," I said with a smirk and Kurama nodded.

"We must go now, come Hiei, I know Jinenji has some wine you might like," Kurama chuckled and the two walked off.

"We'll head back with you," Yusuke said as he and Kuwabara headed towards Raine and Zarbon.

"Yea, we better leave too," Jay said as she turned to go. I realized they were giving us our privacy. Sess came up behind me and wrapped me in his arms.

"No," I said as I took his hands in my own.

"No what?" he asked and I chuckled.

"No regrets, not with you, not ever," I whispered before kissing him. Pulling him in the direction of our clearing.

"Umm, I'll meet you guys outside," I muttered to Yusuke who nodded and grabbed Kuwabara, pulling him outside with him.

I scratched my head, "So I'll see you tomorrow?"

Zarbon smiled, "Of course."

He pulled me into his arms and into a kiss. I felt my heart race from his touch and the possibility of us getting caught again. When we pulled away, my head spun.

"You should get home now," he said with a smirk and I lightly slapped his arm.

"You're just feelin' like a proud pigeon right now, aren't you?" I asked.

He chuckled.

I was quick to catch up with Kuwabara and Yusuke and head back home.

"Is he your mate?" Yusuke asked.

I blinked. We had rendezvoused with Yaten at one of the balconies. Kuwabara was off doing something and would join us shortly. I blushed and shook my head, "No, but we are involved."

"I thought as much. Your scent was all over him, I'm surprised Kuwabara hadn't noticed," he said.

I sighed, blushing and averting my eyes. Yaten grinned, "I think it's cute."

I looked at him, "How?"

"He's got a little crush on you," he teased and my blush deepened.

"Shut uuuup. Don't add to my bashfulness," I muttered, covering my face.

"Hey, what'd I miss?" all heads turned to the doorway and Kuwabara showed up with food and drinks.

We all stammered to come up with excuses.

I walked back to the barracks with Vash and Wolfwood. "So you care to tell me what happened this morning?" Vash asked.

"Vegeta. I think he's realizing about the powder… he was just so full on this morning he didn't take me he… humiliated me." I covered my face.

"But next time I'll be ready for him." My eyes narrowed dangerously. "And he's going to regret me."

"What did he do?" Vash asked.

I looked at him glaring.

"It can't have been that bad." Wolfwood remarked.

"Oh says the priest." I huffed and walked in to the barracks anger billowing about me.

"Jay wait!" Vash raced up to me and pulled me in to a hug. "It's okay… hey it's okay."

I clung to him burying my face in to his chest and the red coat.

Wolfwood walked in and he looked at me. "Jay I'm sorry we upset you."

I looked at Wolfwoof. Melfina was on her bunk sitting there reading and she looked at me.

"He went down on me." I stated. "Made me…" I growled and gripped some of the red coat in my fist angrily.

Wolfwood blinked. "Has he done that before?"

"No." I grumbled. "Never!" I let out long ragged breaths. "He told me there would be more of it if I behaved in the future, told me he could give me so much power if I obeyed. I hate him." I sunk down to my knees and Vash followed sitting on the ground with me.

"I know you're strong, just be strong."

"But I like power." I pouted suddenly. "I love having power." Vash blinked. "And I like that coat."

Wolfwood laughed. "And that's the Jay we like."
