The sun shone brightly through the windows and on to Rhiannon's face. She opened her eyes quickly to see who opened her curtain. She came face-to-face with her nurse Suki who was holding a school uniform and a pair of lace-up black army boots.

“Mmph, not now Suki I was in the middle of a really good dream. What do you want any way?” questioned the sleepy teenager.

“Your grandmother sent me up here to wake you and make sure that you were dressed and downstairs in 15 minutes,” Suki said, walking over to the bed.

“Why in the hell does she want me to get dressed?” asked Rhiannon.

“I dunno, I am just the help,” Suki replied placing the clothing on Rhiannon's vanity table.

“Tell her I will be downstairs in a few minutes,” Rhiannon replied with a yawn.

“All right I will tell her,” Suki said, getting up to leave. She reached the door and closed it behind her.

Outside in the corridor…

“So is her `highness' waking up?” Asked one of the male servants.

“You know she isn't and I think that someone was in there with her because I saw a body laying next to hers. I don't think she knows it though,” Suki said with a shrug to her shoulders.

“How in the hell is she not going to know that there is someone in her bed?” he questioned.

“It's Rhiannon for the love of God. Why does she do half of the shit she does?” asked Suki.

“Good point,” replied the servant.

Back in Rhiannon's room…

Rhiannon went back under her covers and rolled over. If my mother really wants me dressed and downstairs she will come up here and get me herself. Rhiannon thought and reached her hand out to feel for her pet panther, Mogget. When her hand met flesh instead of fur, her muscles became stiff. She reached her hand behind her and materialized a dagger. She pulled it out and got ready to strike the intruder until he turned around. She let out a sigh of relief and orbed the dagger back into its place.

“Sesshoumaru, what in the hell are you doing in my bed?” Rhiannon asked, looking around to be sure that now of her aunts, uncles or her siblings where around.

“Don't worry nothing happened between the two of us. I know how you would never forgive yourself if you touched me after everything Maria and I have been through together,” Sesshoumaru said yawning.

“Yeah that and the fact that I would have to marry you if anything did happen and you and everybody else know how I feel about marriage and shit,” Rhiannon said, relaxing a bit. She relaxed further when she saw Mogget, sleeping on the floor. “So what are you doing here?” Rhiannon asked fighting back a yawn.

“I am just passing through. I came to give you your birthday present though,” Sesshoumaru said, tossing a velvet box at Rhiannon. It landed at her feet and she bent down to pick it up not knowing that the tops of her breast where showing through the top of her shirt. Sesshoumaru got a glimpse of this and had to turn away quickly as a blush began to stain his cheeks.

“Aw, thanks, Sesshoumaru. I don't think anyone remembered my birthday but you and Mogget,” Rhiannon said plopping down onto her bed. She opened the box and pulled out a diamond necklace set in platinum with sapphire accents. Only those who knew her, and I mean really knew her knew that she loved anything with diamonds and sapphires. “It's beautiful Sesshoumaru, thank you so very much,” added Rhiannon as she turned around and placed a kiss on the inu demon's cheek. He turned his head at the right moment and got her lips with his. They stayed locked like that for a few more minutes until Rhiannon broke the kiss for air.

“Since when has it been okay for a princess to kiss a demon?” Sesshoumaru asked with a grin that bared his fangs. The only thing Rhiannon wanted to do more than anything was to suck on his fangs.

“It has never been okay and besides, you kissed me first remember?” Rhiannon said catching her breath.

“Yeah, I remember that,” the demon replied, but before he could say anything else Rhiannon grabbed his head and brought his lips to hers. When Sesshoumaru opened his mouth to say something Rhiannon's tongue shot into his mouth. She traced his fangs with her tongue and that got the sound she wanted from the demon: a growl that slowly turned in to a moan. This time Sesshoumaru broke the kiss gasping for air.

“What about the whole making us get married thing if they catch us?” Sesshoumaru said raising an eyebrow.

“We just won't get caught now, will we?” Rhiannon said, grabbing him again. She shoved him down on to her bed. She jumped on top of him and started kissing down his neck. Sesshoumaru rolled over so that he would be the one on top.

“I thought you were worried about getting caught?” Rhiannon said in a seductive tone.

“You changed my mind my dear,” Sesshoumaru purred. He took his left hand and jerked Rhiannon's sleeping shirt above her head. He started at her exposed breasts before closing his mouth around her right nipple. He took the other one in his hand and pinched and squeezed it until it became hard just like the one in his mouth. After about five minutes he switched to the neglected one. This assault on Rhiannon's chest went on for what seem liked forever to her until she felt her pajama bottoms being slashed at and torn away. The cold air rushed across her newly exposed skin and she emitted a shiver that slowly turned into a moan when Sesshoumaru took his tongue and started running it up her thigh.

“You like that, don't you, sweetie? Well don't worry I am about to make you even happier,” Sesshoumaru said as the ripped her thoroughly soaked underwear off of her body.

“What are you gonna-“ was all she could get out before Sesshoumaru blew air on her clit, making her moan. It was common knowledge that she, the youngest child of Arthur and Elizabeth, had body piecerings but no one actually knew where they were except for her nursemaid Suki, her best friend, Maria, and Sesshoumaru.

“I knew that you had to have something below the waist pierced in order to have the legendary twenty-five piecerings that you are rumored to have,” Sesshoumaru said as he took her clit into his mouth.

“Well what do you expect? It's me for God's sakes,” moaned Rhiannon. She took her hands and placed them on the demon lord's head. He took the first two fingers from her right hand and stuck them inside of her. He then removed his head but kept his hand there to provide some short of stimulation.

“Relax I will replace your fingers with something that way better very soon,” he said, pushing her raven black hair from her face. He discarded his bottoms and climbed on top of her. “Now I have a question for you are you a virgin? Answer me truthfully because you know I will be able to tell by the way you smell,” Sesshoumaru said as he shifted positions so that he could lie on top of her.

“No, I am not a virgin, I lost it to some one very close to me a long time ago. He's not around anymore because of what happened but I am over,” Rhiannon said. Or at least I think that I am, she thought quickly.

“Good that means I don't have to be gentle with you at all my sweet,” Sesshoumaru said, taking her into another soul searing kiss. He opened her legs and placed them around his waist. He positioned himself at her entrance and looked down at her. He saw her eyes clouded with lust and then sensing her need to be just as bad as his, he rammed into her as hard as he could. Rhiannon moaned and the slight pain she felt but it soon turned to a pleasure she had never encountered before. Her mating with Onigumo had been slow and loving. Seeing as though it was her first time, but when it came to this mating with Sesshoumaru it was fast and filled with lust and that is what she really wanted.

Meanwhile in other various parts of the castle…

The sound of skin hitting skin could be heard through out the southern wing of the palace. No one really paid it much attention, though, because Venus was always in the southern part and she always had a man with her even though she was married to Vulcan.

“She is such a whore,” stated Suki to Rhiannon's cousin, Lia.

“Yeah I know. My parents used to tell me all sorts of naughty things about her. My mother's ladies-in-waiting used to tell me that Rhiannon would end up just like her aunt and so would I if we hung around her and the truth is we haven't and we never will. I am too in love with Kiba to be a slut like Venus and Rhiannon doesn't really like the whole sex aspect of life. She will mate, I know that, you know that, we all know that, but not anytime soon I hope,” replied Lia.

Rhiannon pulled Sesshoumaru's head down closed to her lips in the hopes of telling him faster but he all ready read her mind and was thrusting into her twice as fast as before. It only took a few moments before Sesshoumaru shot his seed deep inside her womb. He fell gently on her chest and laid there still while Rhiannon caught her breath. Rhiannon gently pushed the demon lord off of her and onto her bed while she rolled over and got up.

“Isn't there a that forbids you to fornicate before marriage?” Sesshoumaru asked, yawing.

“Yes and no,” Rhiannon replied.

“What do you mean?” he asked turning towards her.

“The law says that I can't fornicate with a lord from these lands. You are from the western lands, not the northern ones, so that means I am free to fornicate with you all that I want,” Rhiannon said, putting a shirt on over her bare body before sitting back onto the bed. Sesshoumaru placed his head down on a pillow and wrapped his arms around her waist.

“Oh, really now,” replied the demon as he fell into a deep sleep.

“Yes, you moron replied Rhiannon as the placed a kiss on his forehead and quietly left the room. She hurried down the hall to her bathroom in hopes of getting ready before her mother realized the time.

Oh, god, I am going to be late, fucking around with Sesshoumaru, but that's all right; I didn't mind it one bit and neither did he, she thought as she had to nearly jump to miss her uncle Pluto who was slowly making his way down the hallway.

“What's the matter, Pluto, Persephone leave you again for six more months?” Rhiannon called from down the hall.

“Yeah, it's spring already,” Pluto replied.

“Cheer up; you always have Nemesis. She is, like, in love with you for some odd reason. Go to her, it will make you feel better,” Rhiannon called.

“Yeah, I know it will. But you know Juno is looking for you right?” Pluto asked.

“Oh, shit, really? What does this woman want with me?” Rhiannon asked.

“I am not supposed to tell you,” Pluto replied.

“What?” asked Rhiannon.

“All I know it has something to do with your parents and their will. Now hurry up before you are late,” Pluto stated.

“Okay, thanks, and Pluto, cheer up. She loves you more than you know it,” Rhiannon called back to her brother as she raced down the hallway nearly knocking her grandfather, Jupiter, over.

“Hey, slow down there little one. Where are you off to in such a hurry huh?” the old man said, smiling at his favorite granddaughter.

“Oh I am going to be late for something Juno is taking me too. I will see you later grandpa,” Rhiannon squeaked.

“All right, sweetie,” Jupiter replied as he stepped aside and let Rhiannon run to the bathroom.

Rhiannon made it to the bathroom just in time to see her aunts, Minerva, Diana, and Venus

“You are gonna be late for school. If you are ever going to rule with any kind of power and prestige you need to be on time for everything-even things you hate, ” Minerva said in a voice that would put anyone but Rhiannon into their place.

“Will you shove it up your ass? Rhiannon has had a really hard year with everything that has happened with that guy she was seeing and what she needs from you is supports not your damn lectures,” Diana said adjusting her tunic.

“Yeah, Minerva, it wouldn't kill you to be nice to her for a little while now will it?” Venus added. Minerva turned her nose up at her sister, her aunt and her niece and vanished from sight and out of the bathroom.

“I hate her more than I hate Suki when she is in one of her moods,” Rhiannon said.

“Yeah, she thinks she is so cool just because she came out of my brother's head,” Demeter said to her nieces.

“Yeah, well that is true. My friend's parents talk a lot of smack about her, but that is beside the point. I can't stand being here. I want to go home. Even Mogget hates it here,” Rhiannon said.

“Yeah, I know you do, sweetie, and I don't blame you after everything you have gone through, but I promise you it will get better. By the time Midsummer rolls around you will have found someone new who makes your heart all aflutter just like, oh, what's-his-name used to,” Diana said, giving her niece a hug.

“His name was Onigumo and I hope you are right,” Rhiannon replied.

“I know these things,” Diana said, walking out of the room.

“Yeah, she is right, you know. The longer you have been alive the more things you learn. I guess that when we have lived as long as she has then we will know the secrets of the universe,” Venus said, trying to make her cousin feel a little better.

“Yeah, well when we are that old I hope my ass doesn't stick out as much as hers does,” Rhiannon said making her cousin laugh.

Before either Diana or Venus could think of anything else to say the door to the bathroom was kicked opened.

“Oh, for heavens' sakes, what-“ was all Rhiannon could say before-

“RHIANNON AUROA CORVINUS!!! I have been looking all over for you. Where in the hell have you been? You are going to be late for your first day of mortal school. I thought you had over slept until I ran into Pluto and Jupiter and they both told me that you were on your way to the bathroom. I find you in here talking to Diana who needs to get back to the forest to protect her stag and Venus who I am pretty sure has someone else's marriage to ruin,” Juno said, turning to Diana and then to Venus.

“Oops, that is my cue to get. I will talk to you later on tonight, And bye, Juno,” Venus said running out of the bathroom, thanking her ancestors that she is safe from Juno's yelling but feeling sorry for her favorite niece. Diana just looked at Juno and stuck her tongue out before disappearing.

“Yes, Juno, I know that I am late for the reading of the will but you see Mogget didn't do his job and therefore I shouldn't be the one you are yelling at. Yell at him, not me,” Rhiannon said, trying to explain to her grandmother as she stripped Rhiannon of her clothing and pushed her into a pool of waiting hot water.

“Correction, my dear: I sent Suki upstairs to tell you that you need to get ready in 15 minutes and she told me that she had already woken you up and that you went back to sleep,” Juno said, pouring the contents of a small silver pitcher onto Rhiannon's head before leaving the room.

Ew, she just dumped lavender oil on my head and I hate the smell of lavender, Rhiannon thought as she rose up out of the water and went to her vanity table. Under it was a counter that held all her oils and powders and after a few quick moments she closed the cabinet door and went back into the water. In her hands were two items: one was a bottle of shampoo that would strip the lavender out of her hair and the second bottle of henna blossom oil, one of Rhiannon's favorite scents since she had been with Onigumo. She let out a deep sigh and plunged under the water.

Meanwhile, outside the palace…

“What do you mean she is just now taking a bath?” Maria asked of the young handmaid by the name of Lydia.

“Just the way it sounds, my lady. Apparently Rhiannon had a late visitor last night and she just now composing herself for school. I have been instructed by both Juno and Suki to lead you to the bathroom so that you may rush her and get her into the car,” Lydia finished.

“That will be fine, and thank you for your help,” Maria said, following Lydia down the hallway.

Lydia and Maria reached the bathroom and Lydia bowed and went on her way. Maria was about to open the door when she smelled something familiar.

Maria's POV…

Why does the scent of Sesshoumaru linger here? Perhaps he was Rhiannon's late night visitor, but if that is the case, then she would have to marry him, and knowing Rhiannon, it would be a cold day in hell before she married anyone. I will question her about it in the car on our way to the reading. Hopefully she won't prove me right, but if she does, then Rayeokou should know about this, too. I will call her later on tonight.

Normal POV…

“Rhiannon put your bra on dammit. I don't want to see your breasts. I have my own thank you very much. And what is this that I hear about you having a visitor late at night? So late that you woke up late this morning and don't fucking lie to me and tell me it's not true, that Mogget didn't do his job and wake you up,” Maria said with her hands on her hips, tapping her right heel on the marble floor.

“All right I will tell you, but you can't tell Suki or she will have me crucified. Sesshoumaru came to visit me last night. I was asleep so I figured Mogget must have turned human and let him in. He crawled into my bed but nothing happened I swear. He just came to give me my birthday present,” Rhiannon said, showing Maria the necklace Sesshoumaru had given her.

“Oh, is that all that happened? You know that I will find out eventually, right?” Maria said winking, at Rhiannon.

“Yeah, you and Rayeokou, but by the way, where is she?” Rhiannon asked putting on her shirt.

“She said that she would meet us at school. Are you ready yet? God you take for-fucking-ever. You are worse than my family,” Maria said sighing.

“Yeah, hold your horses. So, how do I look?” Rhiannon asked stepping from the mirror.

“Like a cheap, done-up-hooker and that is not our school uniform,” Maria said commenting on Rhiannon's short tartan mini skirt with a pink tank top covered up by a white short-sleeved button-up shirt. She was wearing the peek-a-boo heels she had given her for her birthday last year.

“I know it isn't. Besides you're just mad that you don't look this good,” Rhiannon said putting on the necklace Koga have given her just that morning.

“Yeah, you're right, but I am sure that I will find some way of getting over it,” Maria said, being sarcastic as both girls left the bathroom and headed towards the front door.

Meanwhile, in the hallway outside Rhiannon's bed chamber…

Morgain, queen of the witches walked out from a door hidden safely behind a painting of the goddess Isis that Juno just had to have. Entering the cool hallway she ran into a nervous Demetri pacing outside his sister's room.

“My lord, if you don't mind my asking, what is it that troubles you?” the sorceress asked the young lord.

“I am worried. You know Rhiannon isn't as stupid as she makes herself appear to be. Maybe just maybe, she didn't fall for the glamour spell you placed on Naraku,” Demetri said staring at the door.

“Don't worry your royal blonde head. Your sister fell for the spell and she fell hard. If everything goes according to the plan she will be mine yet,” Naraku said, fixing his baboon pelt.

“I hope you are right for the sake of both your lives,” Demetri replied.

“It worked fine. You need not worry, Demetri, your sister slept with me thinking that I was Sesshoumaru. The spell Morgain casted was perfect. By this time tomorrow your parents will actually be dead and I will show up at the funeral as a friend of yours and a shoulder to cry on. I have also arranged for your grandmother to invite me to the party that they will have to find your sister a husband. I will then make her fall in love with me and then mate with her again to ensure that my seed is passed on to her womb. If all goes well, by the time Midsummer gets here Rhiannon will be my mate and bearing my child,” Naraku said placing his hood on his head.

“Good, because we had a deal. I convince the council that you are no longer a threat to them and you kill my sister or get her out of the way so that after I murdered my parents I will be able to take over the kingdom,” Demetri said to the demon.

“Relax, Demetri, even though your sister has been training with Hecate, her powers aren't nearly as strong as mine and so she wouldn't really sense that there was magickal workings afoot,” Morgain said.

“All right, I need to meet with the king and queen of the vampires in fifteen minutes. Rhiannon will be leaving for the will reading with Maria shortly. Make sure Hexus does his job and monitors them throughout the drive-all of them. I want to know the easiest way to defeat my enemy,” Demetri said, leaving the demon and the sorceress in the hallway alone together.

“Poor boy, he has no idea that after he kills his parents and Rhiannon gives birth to your child we are going to kill him. I almost feel guilty about the whole thing. Key word being “almost”, of course,” Morgain said.

“Patience, my dear witchling soon you will have your chance at killing with Demetri, but hear this, woman: you are not to lay a finger on Rhiannon no matter how tempting it may be. If you do, I will have your head on my dinner plate. Do I make myself clear?” Naraku asked.

“Crystal,” Morgain replied, walking off in the same direction as Demetri. She turned around and blew a kiss at Naraku before she orbed out of sight. Naraku quickly jumped out of the window and made his way back into the forest.

Unknown to trio of immortals, Rhiannon and Demetri' younger siblings, Selene and Helios, had been listening to the entire conversation.

“Demetri is going to kill Mommy and Daddy. We have to warn them,” Selene said to her older brother.

“Correction squirt, He has already killed them. Our main concern is keeping that demon away from Rhiannon until Midsummer passes. Once that is over, we can tell everyone what is really going on and Rhiannon will be able to act accordingly. But you can't tell anyone, Selene, because if you do Rhiannon's life will be in more danger than it already is,” Helios said.

“All right, but is it okay if I tell Fluffy?” Selene asked.

“Yeah, sure, you can tell your stuffed rabbit,” Helios said as he took his baby sister's hand and they went off to find their tutor to begin their lessons.

Unknown to the youngsters, there was someone lurking in the shadows watching them as they had watched Naraku, Demetri, and Morgain.

“And the plot thickens,” commented the voice in the shadows as it disappeared…

II

Rhiannon and Maria steeped out into the sunlight and approached the black Bentley that was parked in front of the fountain. The driver stepped out of the car and walked around to open the door. He tipped his hat to Rhiannon and she winked back at him. Maria sighed at the exchange between the two and pushed Rhiannon into the car nearly breaking her heel.

“What? I was just being nice,” Rhiannon said settling herself in the seat closest to the door on the right.

“Yeah, a little too nice. I thought you and Sly were getting married this summer or something. What happened to that deal?” Maria asked as she reached into her bag and pulled out two bottles of water. She tossed one over to Rhiannon.

“Thanks, and no, they canceled that engagement nine months ago because I made such a fuss about it. Sly and I have been friends since we were little and I didn't want to ruin that by marrying him, so I told my grandmother that if I had to marry him, I would kill myself, so she talked to his parents and they both agreed and found him someone else to marry. Her name is River, Lake, Stream or Ocean. Something along those lines if I remember what he told me correctly. I don't know and I really don't care. She is starting school with us, though, so I guess we will get to meet her pretty soon,” Rhiannon said opening up her bottle and taking a swig of water.

“Oh, I was just wondering because Rayeokou told me about it last night over the phone and I didn't want to say anything to Quinn unless it was true. Anyway, how are you dealing with… you know, the thing?” Maria asked, looking at Rhiannon.

“What thing?” Rhiannon said, turning her head to look at her friend.

“You know, what's-his-name?” Maria said, making her eyes wider.

“Oh, him. I am fine. I guess it took me a while to realize it but I am better about it now,” Rhiannon said, fixing her hair.

“Okay,” Maria said, not truly convinced that Rhiannon was over it.

“So what going to happen next?” questioned Rhiannon.

“Well we will probably get there in 10 minutes at the speed Hexus has set up for us and then I don't know why?” asked Maria.

“I mean for me. The only man I have ever loved is dead, my parents abandoned me her with my darkish relatives and to top that I have to start at a new school,” stated Rhiannon.

“Well you won't be there alone. I mean you will the rest of us there with you. You do remember what Gaia said don't you?” questioned Maria.

Flashback…

“It's time you went to school with mortals,” Gaia began to say to the six teenagers looking at her. “You need to spend time amongst them and see where their loyalties lie. It wouldn't hurt your educational growth because good leaders spend time amongst the common people. And no, Lia, I don't mean lords who are a lower rank than you. I mean people who have no noble blood in them at all or if they do their ancestral houses have fallen. This experience is mostly for Rhiannon, but I think you all could benefit from it also. So, in four days you will be enrolled in a school called Akunima High. You will be immersed with humans as well as low-level demons. Don't pay attention to them; you are just there to learn. I want you all to have fun and don't be afraid to use your powers if you have to. Just promise me you won't hurt anyone unless they attack you first,” Gaia finished as she looked over at Rhiannon, who turned around to see who her great-grandmother was looking at.

“You mean me,” Rhiannon said, pointing to herself.

“Yes, dumbass, she doesn't mean the statue behind you,” Rayeokou said.

“Hey, that wasn't her fault he threw a doughnut at her,” Sly said.

“Thanks, Sly,” Rhiannon replied.

“Even though it was only a doughnut,” Maria said, interrupting.

“Shut up,” Rhiannon barked at her as she threw her pillow at her best friend.

“Hey,” said Rayeokou, who was hit in the process.

“I am not even going to say a word,” Gaia said as she orbed out of the room to avoid the pillow fight that had just begun between the group of teens.

End Flashback…

“Hello, Earth to Rhiannon, are you okay, bubby?” Rayeokou asked to the spaced-out female. Rhiannon was caught up in her day dreamt hat she hadn't notice that they were there already. She saw Rayeokou and Raye standing outside the Bentley.

“Yeah, you have been really quiet this entire time and that is not like you at all,” Maria interjected as she bit into the apple she had stashed in her bag.

“Huh? Oh, I was just thinking about something,” Rhiannon said, turning her head so her friends wouldn't see the blush that was creeping across her face. She stared down at her ring, which had the heart pointed inward.

“More like someone,” Raye, said pointing to the ring on Rhiannon's left hand.

“So, who still has your heart?” Hexus the driver asked Rhiannon, getting a raised eyebrow from Maria.

“Onigumo,” Maria said, elbowing Rhiannon in the ribs.

“Oww. All right you got me. Yeah I am thinking about Onigumo. I miss him and I am just coming to terms with the fact that he is gone,” Rhiannon said with a sigh.

“Wow, that is some deep shit,” Rayeokou, said.

“Oh, sweetie,” Raye said, getting between Rhiannon and Maria. “I am pretty sure that if he could have helped it, Onigumo would be here trying to marry you rather than that asshole named Sly. I can't stand his ass; he creeps me out,” Raye said, finishing with a snort.

“Hey, be nice to him, you guys. He is still one of my best friends,” Rhiannon said, wiping her face.

“Fine, if it will make you happy,” Raye said giving Rhiannon a hug.

“Yes it would,” Rhiannon replied as she wiped her face. She didn't wipe fast enough because Hexus took a mental note of it and was about to say something but felt an invisible hand grip his mouth.

“If you say anything our plan will be ruined. We still need her to be heartbroken and vulnerable,” a voice whispered to him.

“Well, girls as much as I love reunions. I need to get back to the barn and check the car in. I will be back to get you after school,” Hexus said over his shoulder.

“That would be great Hexus,” Maria said as she stepped out of the car and pulled Rhiannon out with her. They began the long trek up the office building steps and were about to go inside until a voice familiar to Rhiannon could be heard.

III

When the girls arrived the bell had rung and the mass of students who had been hanging around in the front of school slowly made their ways up the steps. By the time our girls got there, the only people left outside were the four of them, Hexus, who was starting the car up again, and five other teenagers who they didn't know.

“Hey do any of you guys know where the office is?” Raye asked looking at Maria.

“No,” they said in unison.

“I have an idea,” Rhiannon began, “Why don't I go ask that group of people of there if they know where the office is? I am pretty sure that they have been going to this school longer than we have,” Rhiannon said.

“Well, of course they would have; I mean we have only been going here for about ten minutes now,” Rayeokou said, looking at her watch, but her comeback fell on deaf ears for Rhiannon was already making her way to the side of the steps where Yusuke and the other spirit detectives were hanging around, shooting the breeze.

On the side of the steps…

“Hey, look, one of those chicks is coming over here. How does my hair look?” Kuwabara asked.

“Horrible,” Botan replied.

“Um, excuse me, I don't mean to be rude, I really don't, but I was wondering if you could tell me where the main office is. See, my friends and I just transferred here and we are pretty lost. They just gave us our schedules and that's it,” Rhiannon said, staring at Shuichi's emerald eyes.
On the side of the steps…

“Hey, look, one of those chicks is coming over here. How does my hair look?” Kuwabara asked.

“You just asked that question like 5 seconds ago dyke,” commented Hiei.

“Well we might be able to better help you if your friends came over and let us have a look at their schedules,” Shuichi said, averting his stare.

Rhiannon's POV…

He has really pretty eyes. Morganna would like his eyes. I wonder where the bitch is, anyway.

Normal POV…

“All right, hang on just a second for me,” Rhiannon said turning around to face her friends. She made a motion with her hands and the other three girls crossed the grass and met up with Rhiannon and the five strangers.

“Oh, and by the way my name is Rhiannon. This is Maria, Raye, and Rayeokou is the one with black Japanese hoodie on,” Rhiannon said, pointing to her friends.

“My name is Shuichi. This is Yusuke, Hiei, Botan, and Kuwabara is the one staring at your friend, Rayeokou,” the red-haired one replied.

“Nice to meet all of you,” Maria said, breaking the silence.

“Like Shuichi was telling you, Rhiannon, if you girls just tell them where your classes are then they would be able to help you get there,” Botan said.

“Cool beans,” Rayeokou said, turning around to stare into Kuwabara's beady little black eyes. She stuck her tongue out at him and pulled her right eyelid down the middle finger of her left hand.

“Well, I have Art History first period,” Maria, said.

“Oh, you have class with me and Karasu,” Botan said.

“I have English IV IB,” Rhiannon said.

“Oh, you are in class with me,” Shuichi said.

“I have Creative Writing,” Rayeokou said.

“You are in my class,” snorted Hiei.

“And I have Calculus,” Raye said.

“You're in Kuwabara and Yusuke's class,” every one said in unison.

“Oh yippee,” Raye replied.

“Well, Rhiannonand I must bid you all adieu. We have to get to English. Mr. Felix is very strict on people being late to his class,” Shuichi said.

“All right bye you guys. Oh, hey, Rhiannon don't forget to sit with us at lunch,” Botan called to the three retreating figures.

“Okay,” Rhiannon yelled back.

“I guess we better get to our classes as well,” Maria said.

“Good idea,” Hiei said as the rest of the teenagers walked up the stairs and disappeared into the giant school. Unknown to them, they were being watched at that very moment.

The first half of the school day went off without a hitch. Rhiannon blew up the chemistry wing but other than that, no problems. It was nearing lunchtime and Rhiannon was sitting at her desk in AP European History when someone came into the class to talk to her teacher.

“Rhiannon, will you come here for a second?” Mr. Whitman asked.

“Uh, sure,” Rhiannon said as she got up and walked to the front of the class.

“This is Iris and she says she works for your grandfather's administrations,” Mr. Whitman started.

“Oh, yeah, I know you. You're their messenger,” Rhiannon said.

“Yes, that is correct but that is not why I am here. What I need for you to do is to get your bag and follow me. Your nursemaid has instructed me to pull you out of school and get you home as soon as possible,” Iris said.

“Okay,” Rhiannon replied as she went back to her seat and placed her binder into her bag. She went back up to the front of the classroom and was just about to leave with Iris when she turned around to face her teacher.

“Oh do we have any homework?” Rhiannon asked.

“Don't you worry about the homework; We will talk about that when you get back- that is, if you come back,” Mr. Whitman said.

“Okay,” Rhiannon said with a puzzled look on her face. She followed Iris out of the room and closed the door gently behind her.

“All right, the first thing we need to do is get you and your siblings on a plane to the British Isles,” Iris said, pulling out her cell phone.

“Wait, hold the fuck, up for a second; what did Mr. Whitman mean when he said “if I come back” and why do we need to get a ticket for the British Isles? What's going on here?” Rhiannon said placing her hand on Iris's shoulder.

“Oh, that's right you don't know do you? Well, I hate to be the one to tell you this, but your grandparents were killed this morning on their way to retrieve the body of one named Onigumo,” Iris said.

“They were murdered just like that? They were taken from me just like Onigumo was. How were they killed?” Rhiannon said, placing her hand on the wall to keep her balance.

“Well, your grandfather was shredded to pieces. They could only identify him because a piece of the torn flesh had your family crest on it. Your grandmother's death was a lot less gory. She was slit ear-to-ear and just bled to death in their car,” Iris replied.

But her response fell on deaf ears for Rhiannon had fallen to the floor unconscious…
