A/n- I am so upset right now! No, really, I'm glaring so hard at this damn computer I could easily burn a hole through it at any moment. They deleted my mother f**king account or something, because when I tried to find it in the database thing, and I swear I typed in ScentOfLavander, NOTHIN CAME UP!!!

It said my account didn't exist or some shit like that. Sry if my excessive swearing bothers you, but that's just how I feel right now. So this is my new pen name and I hope you guys will under stand.

Me: hiei, will you do the disclaimer?

Hiei: *unsheathes katana threateningly* what's in it for me, onna?

Me: wait! Uhm… let's see… *digs through her pockets*

Hiei: *sharpens blade ominously while looking straight at me*

Me: *dig dig dig*

Hiei: *sharpen sharpen sharpen*

Me: ah! Here it is ^__^ *hands him a coupon for free ice cream*

Hiei: *eyes widen and then disappears*

Me: -_-;

Hiei: *returns with two gallons of sweet snow* all right onna, I'll do it. *digs in* the baka onna does not own Yu yu hakusho.

Me: *pouts* fine don't save me any then!

Hiei: *grins through mouth full of sweet snow* I won't!

Me: ^_^; at leats hes cute…

The Evil in Us All

The Black Bird

The torturous pain ran its course through the fire demon's body.

He wasn't meant to know such feelings as these.

Despite the fact that he had never known such a sensation existed, such intense desire for something he knew nothing of, he knew why he felt thus.

He, Hiei Jaganshi, master of the dragon of darkness flame, koorime fire demon, survivor of the dreaded jagan implantation, forbidden child was going into a demon heat.

He realized this as he sat in a semi-delirious state, up in his favorite tree. Hiei was currently outside Genkai's temple, trying, with his eyes closed to focus on anything other than the incomplete feeling in his body.

The effects of the demonic heat were causing sweat to practically drip off of his limbs.

Then, just as abruptly, it all stopped. The painful pleasure ebbed away, leaving him feeling somewhat drained.

Making himself comfortable on the tree branch he fell into a light slumber, using his jagan to sense any possible threats around him.

*Hiei's dream*

Everything surrounding him was black. The lonely dark stretched out as far as he could see in every direction.

Slowly, the temperature around him began to drop, until it felt as though the very marrow on his bones had frozen.

"Why don't you let me raise my ki to warm myself?!" he shouted angrily to the nothing.

As though hearing his cry and growing upset, the ground he was standing on, erupted with flames. Strangely, nothing burned him, but in the glare, he could see that his katana was missing.

`Why didn't I feel it gone?' he thought, furious with himself.

Then, the flames against the frozen air began to create a heavy, damp mist. Hiei could see nothing else besides the wet steam, and suddenly, the fire went out.

The unmistakable lonely feeling of death rose inside him. In the ethereal mist, with nothing in it except himself, he felt he was going to die. All alone in this place with no friends or people close to him.

`Hn. As it should be… in the end, the only one you can count on is yourself.' Hiei knew he would face whatever was coming, unflinching.

Abruptly, Hiei heard the sound of flapping wings approach. He looked up as far as he could and.

Sure enough, a glossy black bird swooped down from above. It perched itself on Hiei comfortably and lovingly squeezed his shoulder with her claws.

Surprised at himself for allowing it to stay there, he stroked her shining feathers. This creature was not a threat; it was merely a companion in the darkness. Hiei felt with strange certainty that he could trust it.

She turned her head and looked straight at him. This gave him a small comfort for some reasont, and at the same time, it excited him.

Her eyes were lavender-purple.

*end dream*

Hiei awoke abruptly, looking down to see why.

Yusuke stood, smirking up at him, smug.

Hiei gave the spirit detective an ornery growl at having been woken before figuring out such a confusing dream.

"Koenma needs to see us, says it's urgent!"

Hiei jumped out of the tree agilely and joined him.

a/n - If it is any consolation, I will firmly be sticking to this fic, seeing as how ive already written about eight chapters for it.

This will be a major crossover, and it wont be entirely based on comedy as many crossovers are. I am including my four favorite animes in it.

Yu yu hakusho, Inuyasha, Teen Titans, and Rurouni Kenshin.

I have decided on all of the pairings already and I'm not going to give them to you straight out yet (I CAN do that), but I will go ahead and let you know that I looooove mixing them up!

I hope you enjoy it, and I am going to go ahead and let you know that I am NOT going to do anymore disclaimers because if I owned any of them, I would NOT be writing fanfiction about them! The one above can count for the whole fic and so please! No one sue me, I have no money!
