A/N : OK… I know I haven't updated for a while… but im soooooooorrrrrrrry…. Ive been so busy… with my ASVAB scores and dumb military stuff… dumb!!!!! But I will try to update more often… and ill get to work on my other 3 stories as well.. ok??? Everyone satisfied?? Ch2: So far from norm…

 

 

Boton smiled as she zipped back into the room…. Four young men behind her…. “ oks Koenma sir… they are all here and accounted for!” she smiled … a bit to proud for what she had just done..

 

Koenma just rolled his pacifier back and forth with his tongue… “hmmmmm”

 

Yusuke started to tap his foot…. “ ok midget.. you called us here, so here we are… what do you want??!!” he burst out… looking rather fumed about something….

 

Kuwabara put his hand over his mouth as he tried not to snicker… “ oh don't listen to Urimeshi , Koenma… he's just pissed that Kieko broke up with him last week…”

 

Kurama gently reached out one of his delicate hands and grabbed onto the back of Yusukes shirt as he lunged at the ugly redhead… ( A/N sorry but I have to put some Kuwabara bashing in ^^)

 

“So may I ask why we are here???” Hiei lifted a slight eyebrow at the fox's question… waiting for an answer..

 

Koenma looked at Boton…. Then to the SDs….

 

“Yes.. well its nothing to big… I just want you all to keep a lookout for anything unusual … you know around town… I just have a huge feeling… something is about to happen.. but I have no idea what….” He closed his eyes in thought….

 

Yusuke stopped trying to kill Kuwabara and looked up at the small demi-god … “ that's all.. fine” he said as he stormed off … walking through the doors he yelled… “Boton.. portal!”

 

Boton smiled and zoomed off….

Kagome slowly moved the girls hair out of her face…. Moving her head to rest in her lap….

 

what do I do…. My gods… shes so… -

 

Kagomes thought was suddenly cut off as the small blonde girl opened her bright blue eyes…

 

Kagome gasped…. She had never before seen such beautiful eyes….

 

She smiled down at the girl… trying not to frighten her… “are you ok?? What happened?”

Serena floated around in pure darkness….

 

Her body feeling cold and sticky… where was she… was she alive??? Was she dead??? Question after question ran through her mind….

 

-whats going on…. Wait… someone is holding me… I can feel the warmth… Darien??? DARIEN!!!-

 

Her mind screamed out as she suddenly opened her eyes… she shuddered slightly as her eyes adjusted to the light…

 

A fuzzy figured held her close…. It was talking.. but she couldn't hear… only a buzz… a buzz deep in her brain…

 

“am I dieing”

Kagome shook her head.. “ I hope not” she slowly sat the young girl up…

 

Serena just stared at the ground then softly lifted her gaze to the girl next to her.. she could now see… her heart fell… it wasn't Darien… but a spark in her soared… she couldn't say why….

 

“so im not dieing???” Serena stammered out… looking a bit confused as usual..

 

Kagome giggled a bit… “ no.. I cant say you are.. but if you don't mind.. could you tell me what did happen?”

 

Serena side glanced a second then returned her gaze to meet the other girls honey brown eyes.. “ ummmmm you wouldn't believe me if I told you” she smiled solemnly as she ran a hand through her hair.. feeling the matted blood…

 

I can tell… im nowhere near home… I don't think this is even my world… it just feels funny…. Oh how stupid of me… go figure I get myself into this… stupid stupid stupid!!-

 

“I bet you I would….”

 

Serena looked up.. stopping bashing herself mentally for a bit…

 

“ fine… demons… see you think im crazy… that's not even a good word… people think im a liar… and so do.. y—“

 

Kagome cut her off with a finger to her lips…. “ I believe you… demons you say???? Here… in my shrine?”

 

 

Serena gave a small grin.. “ well not exactly… in my world… something happened in my world… a bright light when the demon ran at me… then I was here… so no… technically not in your shrine…” she gave a sheepish grin… then cringed in pain as her muscles in her head tightened causing her eyes to water…

 

Kagome stood up pulling the small girl with her…. “ lets get you cleaned up?? Ok” she smiled sweetly as they started to head for her house….

Ekoshi hissed out in pain… “ yes I told you… she killed Otuga and then vanished… into.. I don't know.. air.. or another world.. something”

 

A pair of ice blue eyes glared down at the black mess of demon in front of him… “ I gave her to you and you two let her escape….”

 

Ekoshi's eyes widened… “ please me lord give me another chance… I will find the princess… and I will kill her me lord… please…”

 

A smirk suddenly appeared under the icy stare of evil… “ fine.. one last chance.. but if you make a mistake…. Do not return… you will die if you fail”

 

Ekoshi smiled gratefully.. “ yes me lord” he whispered as he vanished.. back to the dead courtyard .. to find her.. to kill her…

Kuwabara walked next to the other three detectives… “ so.. you think he actually knows something and is just waiting to tell us??”

 

Kurama smiled.. “ I believe so.. I wonder what it could be…”

 

“WELL… I don't… if he doesn't want to make us do the work… fine by me…” Yusuke stormed as he walked a bit ahead of the rest of them…

 

Hiei stopped and looked off into the distance … his nose sniffing the pungent air… “ ive smelt that demon before…” he looked at the others… then looked back in the direction… “ but… that's impossible”
