Chapter 1
It was freezing cold; white sheets covered the streets completely over half a meter deep full of cold white snow and it wasn't going to stop there. The blanket of snow was just getting thicker as the hours flew by.
Humans were panicking… it was really weird… who ever saw snow at the middle of summer? It was really an unusual sight to see. Many were already freezing from the cold, obviously unprepared for the weather.
And a particular someone was really getting ticked off. A black blur was speeding through the snow as fast as he could through the cold wearing only his familiar black cloak as well as outfit. And behind him, three more were trying to catch up to him. Unlike the first one, they were covered with thick wool and wore winter clothes.
“Does Hiei even know where we're supposed to look for?” Yusuke asked, he looked just over his shoulder to see Kuwabara trying to keep up while Kurama was running with ease leveling with them. The fox just looked ahead and at Hiei, then he looked back at Yusuke and nodded assuring.
As they ran for seemingly hours passing through snow that was now knee deep… they finally halted to a stop in front of a shrine… where on top was a small girl with snow silver hair about 8-9 years old wearing a long spaghetti strap dress, her hair almost reached the ground. Her eyes were all white and she seemed out of herself.
All stared at her. All could not believe that the little girl held so much energy as to freeze almost all Japan… they stood there stunned by the sight, as the snow swirled around her totally unaffected.
A sound broke the silence. Kuwabara, Yusuke and Kurama all turned curiously to Hiei. He sounded like he sneezed and it was clarified when they saw the fire apparition rubbing his nose in an almost cute way.
Kuwabara pointed and laughed his heart out, Yusuke laughed mildly and Kurama perked up a smiled. It was why Hiei had been edgy since it became cold. It was too much for his demon side to handle. As he saw his so called friends laugh at him, Hiei glared and focused on the child causing all the snow.
As his Jagan glowed, Hiei noticed something very unusual. And to put it to the test, he unsheathed his sword and threw it to the girl with extreme force. To everyone's surprise, the girl jumped away with ease and then dropped to the ground suddenly becoming unconscious.
Everyone watched as her arms and legs became longer… slender… her face becoming more mature. She was growing bigger… and not soon later, she was as tall as Hiei and the others. They scurried to her side.
(Sure Hiei is small, but in this fic, they are all even in height. Only Kuwabara a little taller.)
Her eyes fluttered awake, blinking away the light as her lovely water blue eyes came to function. She jumped out of Kurama's caring hands that were a second later full of concern and curiosity.
The girl or woman rather, stood tall and proud, her long silver straight hair now reaching her waist with strands framing her face. The black dress neither was nor form fitting, and it showed a lot of her legs. Her breasts increase in bust as well.
Her eyes were gleaming water blue with curiosity, her hands tense but she didn't know why. Her long black painted fingernails were itching to freeze those trespassers in her territory. She licked her lips to give them a natural gloss. She looked over herself as to why she was being stared at by five men.
“Wasn't she a little girl just a second ago?” Kuwabara whispered. All had identical questions in mind.
Just then, as she was busy glaring at the tallest of the group of trespassers, she noticed something terribly wrong with the picture. She jumped on the roof of the shrine; bit her lower lip at the chaos she had made.
She looked up at the sky then back to the trespassers. She raised her arms and faced her palm up to the sky; something came out of her hand like a bolt of lightning that went straight to the sky.
The clouds instantly cleared up and the sun finally showed itself…
“Who are you?” She asked.
“Who are you?” Hiei asked.
Both questions were both asked at the same time, thus getting the others attention. But as the lovely maiden jumped off the roof with ease and landed on the ground, right next to where Hiei's sword was, she picked it up with her left hand and in a blink of an eye, water came out of the palm of her right hand as it was faced to Hiei. The water hit Hiei straight on and what was strange was, the water had the appearance of a dragon.
Everyone became alerted. And was ready to fight the girl when suddenly, they seized when she said something that cleared it all up as to why she hit Hiei in the first place.
“Don't read my mind again.” Said her, glaring at the fire apparition whom hit the tree behind him.
