Chapter 7 hiei pops the question and kitten's secret

Hiei stood by kagome she was kinda just staring off in to space at the moment they had just got out of the movies and now they where headed to one of the most romantic restaurants in the whole city but he was sure she was pissed cause he still hadn't tolled her where they where going and by the look on her face he was going to be sorry he ever took that stupid bakas advice.

Flash back

Karama sat next to hiei on the couch that morning.

"Hey hiei you going to ask kags the big question any time soon I mean you have been dating for a while now"

"What business is it of yours fox?"

"Oh so you are. Just a tip hiei bring her some where nice like an expensive café restaurant you know. Oh and make it a surprise" he said before looking back to the cartoon they where watching something called gundum wing.

Hiei looked over at kagome she still looked pissed this was going to be a long night

Kittens' pov

"Yash god damn it where are you" I whisper it has been 10 minutes since I got here and I was 5 minutes late where the hell is that boy

"Kit hey I'm right here sorry I'm late" yash says running up

"It's really no prob but did you see any one following you?"

"No I don't think kikiyou knows that where seeing each other"

"Oh well that's good babe" I say leaning in and kissing him

me and yash have been going together for about 2 weeks now and I think I'm in love with him but we can't tell any one in till hiei asks kagome to marry him and that should be tonight we just have to wait and see what happens but I do hope he asks her tonight so me and yash can go to the new years bash at the den together.

"well I would think what we where doing here was simple we are eating dinner" hiei said his face devoied of all emoition as usual but alas thoughs damned eyes betrayed him yet again

kagome smiled maybe her rock boy was finaly showing his true colors if so then this could be the night he finaly asked it had seemed like forever since they had gone on there first date and in all reality it had been over 2 years since she had first layed eyes on this black haired man standing next to her. They had been set up on a blinde date neither looking for love god neither of them thought they would have a good time. So when he walked in and there eyes met and things just clicked she was sure she had to be dreaming but that it seemed was not the case he walked across the room his face and posterior not giving away a thing it was thoughs god damned eyes that gave him away in thoughs fierie depths she saw some thing looks like mystery boy thinks we click too she remembered thinking to her self

she was still thinking to her self when hieis voice brought her back to reality they where sitting at the best table in the house it was on a small deck over looking the shore the sun was setting (it was one of the most beautiful places in all the world and im sure that I do it no justice)

he got down on one knee and brought out a ring (it was a white gold ring with a ruby a diamond and a Safire adorning it the ruby was in the middle the dimond was to the left and the Safire was to the right)

kagome do you know the story behinde this ring you see this ring is the only one of it's kind ever made you see the legond goes that a god fell in love with a mortal woman he wished to marrie this woman but if he where to do that he would be throne from the heavens so the god decided that until he could change the others mindes he would give this young woman protection from all that would harm her so he had this ring made the ruby from his blood to protect her the dinomd from his tears to remind her that he hurt with out her and the safier from his heart to reminde her that it would always be hers. So kagome eleis hirgashi light of my lifei give it now to you, you are my every thing all I have ever dreamed of plus so much more and I know that I'm noth worthy but would you marry me he said with pleading eyes

the tears brimming in her eyes where shed as she fell in to his arms whispering yes yes yes over and over again when he heard her awncer his whole face showed relief and joy he pulled out of there embrace to look her in the eye and the slid the ring on to her finger

"I love you" he whispered

"I love you too" she whispered

a choris of ahh's and claping was what brought the happy couple out of there embrace.
