Hiei was still extremely sore, three days later, on a plane made of water. Its source was unknown, but its depths were immeasurable and teeming with unfriendly and innumerable monsters. From above it looked like a sea floating in mid-air that stretched in miles in one direction, with no other plane in sight below or around it. From the ledge of bamboo covered terrain I shook my head and stepped back.
“We will venture in the morning.”
:Is that wise?:
As wise as I care to be at the moment…
Turning from the ledge, I pressed a hand to my forehead as Hiei leapt into the depths of the forest, and Souta flopped down where he stood and leaned back against a tree trunk with a sigh.
“Souta, build a fire… I wish to have some tea.”
I knelt down and reached into the sleeve of my kimono to a secret pouch I had sewn in, and produced a small bag of tea. Souta removed his backpack, and dropped it between his legs before opening it and rummaging through it to produce our camp necessities.
“Are you hungry too? I have of that roast left.” He held out a cloth wrapped hunk of meat the size of a pig leg. I smiled and nodded.
“That sounds great.” He smiled and set to work. I sat and watched him, thinking how he looked so much like Sango-chan’s little brother Kohaku…
“Don’t worry neesan.” He said with a smile, and I couldn’t help but noticed how much Kohaku had advanced since three years ago when he left to train/serve under Sesshomaru. Rin-chan, who also stood at Kohaku’s side, was now twelve and the best trained assassin I had ever seen, in movies or in life. Rin was perfect; and no less so, than a product of her mentor and protector.
Kohaku hugged his sister, and she cried on his shoulder as he cradled her head and soothed her with kind words and affection. Kohaku’s soul had been saved, due to Sesshomaru’s sword of course, but because of Rin, and her love for the Taijiya.
“I won’t be far, and with Kagome-chan training under Lord Sesshomaru now as well, we will run into each other quite often, I’m sure, so much in fact I fear you would grow weary of me.”
Sango laughed and gripped her little brother tighter.
“Don’t be rash… and if you need help, anything at all, I don’t care if you need help hunting. Blow that horn I gave you. Your request will be heard.”
Inuyasha huffed and crossed his arms with a grunt. “She means, I’ll hear you and relay the message like some errand boy…” He grumbled, his eyes closing. When I looked at him now, I see how much my Inuyasha has changed and couldn’t help but smile and compare even myself.
“-always do that neesan… how come you delve so deep into yourself all the time? If I were a weapon I would be deflected as if a fly, so easily and without surfacing from your own thoughts. How long must I endure this, are you trying to train me?”
I blinked and watched as Souta blew on the fire to get it burning on its own, and wondered how many one-sided conversations he’s had with me on this trip.
“So-.” “Kagome.”
Momentarily thrown off I leapt to my feet as someone emerged from the forest with Hiei dangling from his collar in the fist of a beautifully handsome young man.
Youkia…
:He is ancient… his power is great!:
Breeder!
Power!
I sighed and pulled Sounga from beside my Fang.
“I was told about you.” Hiei was launched into the air and struck the earth, rolling to a stop half way between us.. The demon stopped, cloaked in the shadow. I could see long hair that sparkled like ice trapped in fire; and a body that was wrapped from head to toe in loose and worn, dirty and old bandages.
“How lovely.” I whispered as Sounga’s presence swelled inside my mind.
:Have you blood for me, Beauty?:
His voice was like hot coals in a forge against my ear, and his soul wrapped around mine like a snake, tightening around me so to move and protect me.
“I have blood for you.” I promised as I moved towards the wounded and unconscious fire demon.
“Hmn? I had heard nothing of you being insane, but I supposed a human priestess given the gift of immortality and the giving’s of demons; would turn even myself insane.”
“Giving’s of demon?” I asked and paused, looking up at the demon who had yet to reveal himself. “Oh yes, some may have forgotten you, but not all. I was here when your split the fabrics of time and reconstructed it. You defied the Gods, you know.”
He tsked at me and crossed his arms, arms coated in the armor of blue dragon scales. I frowned and squinted.
“I know your voice.”
“I suppose you should.” He stepped forward, and blood red eyes in skin of ice smiled at me.
“Ryua.” My heart lurched as the Shikon no Tama reacted to such a demonic force.
“Kagome?” My heart lurched one more time before I regained control of a near-transformation.
“I am ok.” I whispered and lifted my chin to my new challenger. “What did you do to Hiei?”
“Is he… precious, to you?” The dragon demon asked, moving closer to Hiei and me.
“Stay back Souta.” I said and stabbed Sounga into the dirt, resting my hand elegantly atop it.
“I could destroy you with a thought, Demon. You dare approach me?” Ryua spread his arms and laughed.
“Last I remember, you were with a hanyou in red, who now wears black with a scar on his face.” My nose wrinkled with the force of my snarl as I sunk into classic samurai poise, with Sounga now tucked into my side.
“Speak no more of him!”
“Or what? You’ll kill me?” The demon laughed with his hands on his hips. “Listen to me, Immortal Priestess and understand me.” Humor was gone and was replaced by malicious bloodlust. “Your presence here as altered the realm.”
I snorted, my temper running high and my blood burning inside my veins I looked down at Hiei. His mind was beginning to swirl back into the world of the waking.
“I created this Realm.” I hissed, glaring back up at the dragon-demon who once tried to steal the souls of young hanyou’s on an island that appeared on shore only once a year.
“As with all things created by magic, will it soon gain a will and sentience of its own?” My eyes widened and my grip on the Sounga tightened. His voice pushed back the collective voices of the Shikon no Tama and that of Naraku.
“Of course...” I whispered and loosened my stance.
:What?! Give me blood, my beauty! Do not let him live! Claim his life, and give me blood!:
I sighed and replaced Sounga in its new sheath.
“You obviously have reason to seek me out.” As I spoke the words, a memory from the depths of Naraku’s mind and crossed the threshold to become my own memory.
“I am the Seeker…”
Naraku seemed to think, as well as the Shikon no Tama that this woman from the shadows of my doubt has come to form itself in the shape of Sango/ a Seeker.
“Who is the Seeker?”
“A specter of your own evils.” He answered that almost too quickly. Was he awaiting my questions, was he sent by someone? Shippou said he and Azuka had ‘friends’ in the Maikai, they couldn’t be talking about Ryua, would they? Many years have passed and just because Ryua is evil, didn’t mean Shippou didn’t find something beneficial to us in him. I will treat it thus.
“Will you guide us?” I asked, throwing my cards onto the table. Ryua watched me before smirking. “You’re smart. I’ll give you that. No one said anything about you being smart. Guess they wanted me to find out on my own.” He inhaled sharply, as if deep in a lecture and began to pace. “In fact, I remember you quite clearly, if you do not remember me?”
He paused and glanced at me. I smiled and inclined my head down slightly as an affirmative and though I looked pleased to be speaking with him, he knew better than to assume my instant wrath was anything but, inches away. My grip on Sounga was still sound, and Souta now knelt over Hiei and assessed his injuries.
“Well good then! We can spare ourselves the droll introductions and the roundabout threats and tip-toes! Excellent! Well-met Priestess!” He chuckled at his own joke and began to clap.
“I believe this to be a meeting foretold, and one to remember. Don’t you agree?”
His smugness was not to be taken lightly, Ryua was a fierce opponent and a turning point in not only Inuyasha tactics and change in power, but my own as well. Ryua will teach me, just as Naraku had. The only difference will be; it’ll be on my terms.
You cannot escape us…
…we are one….
We are many!
You are one!
I didn’t flinch as the pitch of the voices took a staggering turn, and Naraku’s laughter molded into the many that threatened to consume my mind. So long as I had will, so long as Naraku’s soul remained with my own, trapped in this vassal; I had every tool I needed to contain the Jewel for all Eternity. I smirked and felt my heart lurch.
“You have no idea the wrath you should incur, should I learn you wish to betray me. Come to my side Ryua and obey my command; or stand aside and pray I find not your eyes have been cast upon me.”
Ryua began to laugh. Naraku’s anger was evident immediately, and as such the voices whom would drive me to my own evil, shoved him forward with a might so strong it could not be denied. Rather than fight it, I conceded this round and put myself beyond the looking glass of my own soul and body.
“Just a little reminder my sweet,” Naraku swept my bangs back from my head with an arrogant thrust in my hips, “of how we of demon blood are better suited for wielding power beyond time and space.”
“Ahhhh.” Ryua released a breath of pure adoration and he began to clap again as he sat down on a large stone. How on earth did a stone get so close to the ledge. Naraku smiled with my lips.
“I see.” Under our feet the earth began to shift until a single white lunar flower bloomed.
“Smart indeed.” Ryua said again, shaking his head in amusement. “Now tell me, am I to assume I am talking to the both of you now? Or rather, the more…. Masculine side of you, Priestess?”
~
“Tell me, Lord Sesshomaru. Would you take from me, the very sword you and Inuyasha were incapable of handling? I evoked and took control of the Eight Seals, and entrusted to me the Sounga. Would you deter me? After everything? His death lies on the brink!”
His eyes were closed, and the tinkling of the bamboo forest was ironic as they swayed around us. He stood partly in the soft shadow of the tree’s, and his silver hair swam free on the currents of the air.
“Lord Sesshomaru.” I stated his name, and placed my hand on the heavy hilt of the Sounga.
“We are two hours from Musashi; I have come as you requested. Would you not speak at all to me? Why do you hold your tongue!” I was furious, how dare he order me around! How dare he act so high and mighty even now!
I was days from absorbing Naraku, and the jewel. It was he who had helped me discover such a thing possible. Him and his Mother.
“Kagome…. Is it true? Have you…. By the Gods of the Moon.” I closed my eyes as his beautiful baritone voice washed over me. His musky scent was sent to me on a breeze that was unnatural. I glanced at Sesshomaru, he met my gaze and I gasped. He turned from me then and left the clearing.
“Kagome… Please, please tell me you didn’t…. you didn’t.”
“Kouga-kun.” “Why Kagome?! Why would you do such a thing! I can smell him all over you!!! What-….” He dropped to his knees, his head cradled in his claws. I felt my nose begin to tingle and shook my head sharply.
“Kouga. Allow me to explain.”
“No! No I refuse to believe it!” He was suddenly in my face, his hands clasped around mine. Was this some kind of sick joke, from Sesshomaru? No… but he knew Kouga would be able to smell us from here. We were too close to his den in the East. It was no trap by Sesshomaru, but perhaps an opportunity to make amends. Cut my ties, and truly begin my battle against evil.
So be it.
“I know…. I know, Kouga look at me! I know you love me. I know that feeling, and I cannot say that I do not love you, because I do. I love you as much as I love, Miroku-sama, Shippou-kun, Inuyasha and Sesshomaru-sama.”
Time to be honest now, Kagome…. No more hiding. This is a make it or breaks it kind of deal. I can’t love Kouga, and who’s to say that Kouga won’t die, or that I won’t die. I can love him tonight. It’s the last thing I can do for him.
“Kouga-kun, you’ve always been special to me.” I knelt before him and cupped his cheek. He flinched and his hands rose and for a moment I thought he would strike me away, but he encircled my wrist in a gentle, but defeated hold.
“Kouga-kun!” I gasped as I saw tears glitter in the shadows of his face. “Naraku…. Has slighted you, Kagome, more I think than anyone. He may…. He may have slaughtered my entire clan… destroyed Kikyo’s life and Inuyasha’s heart… He cursed Miroku’s bloodline and turned Sango’s family against one another…. I know this…. But you…. You Kagome are pure innocence.” His grip tightened and I felt a cool rush through my system.
Unture.
“Naraku would seek to use you, Kagome…. Please. He has put us all through so much pain.”
“Kouga… please, don’t cry.” I felt my nose burn and my eyes filled with tears. He lurched up and grasped me in a firm hold.
“Even now you would seek to comfort me…. Me?” He gripped me tighter.
I closed my eyes and allowed my pain to break free. Though I was set in my plan, had the tools to achieve it, I was still only sixteen and the wisdom of the ages would not bestow upon me their favor soon enough.
“Of course, Kouga… I love you. You are very dear to me.” I pulled back to look at him. “Though my heart may not be yours, I can give you one night. I shall love you this night, Kouga, as you would so wish me to. I give you this gift, as an apology; as gesture of faith and a token of my appreciation. You have done well, Kouga Prince of the Wolf Tribe. You will be a great and powerful being. I believe this. I believe you have earned a night with the woman you love.”
“Kagome.” He shook his head and cupped my face, pulling me in until our foreheads touched.
“Kagome… don’t do this… not like this…” I closed my eyes as his head band touched my forehead. I shifted closer.
“You are wounded, wolf.” I whispered as my hands smoothed down his face to cup his neck and jaw. “Let me soothe you.” I prompted even as my own fears swelled within me. What if I wasn’t good enough? Proclaiming to love someone was easy. Viewing their body was another.
“Kagome.” He smiled and moved to kiss my forehead, but I rose above him and kissed him. His shock was only a moment in pause before he pulled me tight to his chest and overtook the kiss and leaned me backwards to cradle in the circle of his arms.
My delight was on the heels of my anxiety. Inuyasha would know. He would know the moment he saw me next, be it months or even years. I would give this to Kouga. He deserved this night, and this moment.
He broke the kiss and began to kiss my cheek, then my nose; my forehead and temple, my jaw and chin.
“Kouga…” I whispered, leaning back into his arms and trusting him not to let me fall. He growled and I felt a sudden excitement by the animal like sound. I wanted more.
“Kouga…. I have no slept with him yet… though I plan to.” Kouga’s growl, seconds before had sent pleasurable shocks down my spine now rippled in pain. “I will give him the jewel, just as Kikyo has tried. Where she has failed. I will not.”
“You plan to kill her as well?”
“Yes.”
“You would have made a fine demoness. I believe you would be a wolf.”
“You think so?” He smiled and removed one arm from me to brush a thumb down my jaw as he shifted me in his lap, my right shoulder in his chest. “I would have it no other way.” He refolded his arm around me, now encaging me in the circle of his chest. I closed my eyes as he nuzzled my head, inhaling my scent and kissing my temple.
“You’re so young, Kagome…”
“No younger than you, I believe, in demon years.” His amusement was evident when he squeezed me tighter and trembled slightly, but so where his fears.
“You’ll die, Kagome, if you fail.”
“Kouga-kun… I’m not from here. I live in a super advanced world, compared to this world. I will not fail here.”
~
His den was beautiful, covered in furs and fire, treasures and knic-knacks of his favor. This was not the den I had been first taken to. Oh no, we were far from there, and this was no ‘Main Hall’ as Hikkaku and Ginta liked to reefers to it. This was his persona quarters, with fur tapestry’s and low stands. This den looked more the fit for the Prince of the Wolf tribe. Though he was a rebel and ran only with his pack, rather than sit high in the mountains with the Royals in a Hall of great magnificence.
He laid me down on a large fur bed that spanned the width and length of Japan’s finest and largest Queen sizes. He loomed over me with sorrow in his cobalt blue eyes.
“Do not shame, Prince of the Eastern Wolfs. I do this willingly, and out of love for you that it not the same you offer to me. But I can give you one night with my heart, so that you may know it, should something happen to either of us; this memory will keep us warm.”
He closed his head and pressed his head to my collar bone, his body trembling. I smiled and embraced him, feeling my own tremors. Though Kouga would be my first, I planned it so that I could and would be able to face Naraku without any road untraveled. He will not catch me off guard. Kouga will love me, be tender and gentle and fierce and wild; like the wolf he was.
But I choose Kouga and not Inuyasha, because I could never leave my heart out of it with Inuyasha. Call me selfish and vain, but I did love Kouga and he deserved something from me, if I could give him nothing. I would give him this.
“Make love to me, Kouga. Let me wash through you, so that this memory will burn hot in your darkest hours. For the both of us; you most of all, need this.” I felt his tears but his body did not move. “You are wounded, and we leave for battle soon. I will sooth your pain and give you hope. Hope for a brighter tomorrow.”
He released a shaky breath.
“I know why you do this. You would give me love, as you never can, on this one night. But I see why, and I would not have your pity.” He rose above me, his bronze muscles clenching and shifting in the fire light.
“You are so sexy, Kouga, and woman to look at you would do well to droll on herself and beg for mercy.” He chuckled and shook his head. “When did you get so perverted? Do you not know of the thoughts you already give me, less these words now send me to darkness.”
I laughed and smacked his arm. “When did you get so poetic and sensible?”
“I must have certain facades to play my part.” He kissed the hand on his triceps and looked at me again as he rose over me on his knees and lifted his arms to remove his head band and hair tie.
“I would have you know, I am a man. You have offered to me what every man would wish to obtain. I am being honest with you and can admit my selfishness, but hear me now. Priestess of the Shikon no Tama.” He dropped back over me, his lips inches from mine.
“On this night, when you love me as you would the lover you choose to truly give your love to. Show me such love, as you will never show another. Be mine tonight Kagome, let me show you what real love can be like.”
I stared up at him and felt such guilt at my actions, but I knew; he was feeling the same thing. I could see it in his eyes. We were selfish, both of us seeking a means to an end.
“I will make it as beautiful as I can for you Kouga-kun. You deserve a taste of such happiness, and I deserve to have it too. If only for a moment.”
He smiled and cupped my face.
“Is that not what I have asked for, all along?”
I shook my head in amusement as he bent down to kiss me, but as his lips touched mine, he waited. I giggled and pressed up to kiss him back. Against his mouth I spoke.
“I love you, Kouga. As I will never love another.”
A beautiful lie.
“You are mine, Kagome. I will have no other, my Princess, my Queen. Be with me forever.
Beautiful words.
“Forever, Kouga…”
He brushed bronzed and calloused fingers across my neck and collar bone.
“You are as soft as I knew you to be. But I wonder, where else are you so soft?” He brushed his fingertips along the hem of my kimono. “Would you like to see?” “I would love to.”
So I stood before him, naked and glistening in the firelight, a thin sheet of sweat had gathered over my skin and though I hated how pale I looked in the earthy brown colors of his den, next to his bronzed skin. I had to admit, training had done my body well. I was toned all over, no excess softness where it shouldn’t be. I was hard and strong in my human body.
“Just as I imagined…” His response was in awe, and his chest armor rolled from the bed where he’d placed it beside him. He scooted towards me and motioned me forward in the same action. Hesitate, and dressed only in my panties and bra, I took a step into his range. He grabbed my hand and pulled me between his knees. His hands braced on my hips he pressed his forehead to my sternum and smiled.
“You have given me such a gift.” His hands spread reverently across my lower back. “In return, I shall be a lover from your dreams. Tonight, I give you pleasure, though it will never measure to my own, I endeavor to come close.”
I laughed as I felt my cheeks begin to burn.
“Kouga, really, where did you learn to talk like that?”
“Court. To win the heart of a lady is spoken in words as beautiful as they themselves are. You warrant such beautiful words.” He kissed my stomach before his hands moved back to my hips and around. “You wear such strange bindings, I am at a loss to remove them.” I shook my head and pressed against his shoulder, forcing him onto the bed while I followed like a cat, moving to poise atop him. I purred my words as settled above his lap. I was calling on every movie I had ever seen, any porn I had been dared to watch. All of it came rushing to the forefront of my mind.
I danced my fingertips down his chest to the fur hem of his waist armor. Though outside it looked to be an ordinary pelt, underneath was a network of steel plates and mail. As I undid the ties at his waist glanced up at him from beneath my lashes and his sat on his elbows, with a look on his face that seemed close to pain but love glowed in his eyes.
This man alone; whoever claimed to love me, whoever promised me something was always true and pure in his words. This man alone, truly and without conditions, loved me. Not because I looked and was the reincarnation of a previous lover; or beautiful I was another beautiful face, and not because I was human and had powers to rival the Gods.
Because I was brave, and smart and beautiful; these were the reasons why this man loved me. Why he above all else, should take the one gift I could ever offer to a man worthy enough. Why above all else, this man deserved it.
His hands slid from my hips to my wait and further. “Just lift it up and over.” I advised as his fingers hooked under the hem of my bra. He did so easily and as I felt my flesh bounce free I watched as his expression changed from awe to hungry. He sat up and took my flesh into his mouth. My head slipped back on my shoulders and I sighed as he pulled his waist armor aside, lifting me up so its passage was not hindered. Just the same he helped me remove my panties without me moving from his lap. I sighed at the first contact of skin, my bare thighs over his.
Kouga was hairless, save for a coarse patch of black hair that crept up to a point near his belly button. I shivered and looked up at him as I settled my full weight on him, his cock lined perfectly with the slit of my lips.
“Gods Kagome… I’ve dreamed of this.” He shivered a bit and we both laughed. When sat up again it was to embrace me and the tenderness of it, the raw and true feelings behind me broke through me again. I placed my forehead against his shoulder as my heart cracked.
“I’ve wanted to hold you, just like this,” he chuckled “and with clothes on.” I laughed too at the ridicules images that gave me. I sat back and the movement made him slide against me, both of us paused, and he groaned moving to kiss my throat in an open mouthed kiss that promised to leave a mark. I gasped as the sensation traveled like a lightning bolt from his mouth to my groin. I squeezed my eyes shut as inner muscles I’d never felt before clenched and warmed.
“I can smell you.” He rumbled in my ear, his nose brushing the length of my cheek before he kissed the side of my mouth. I opened it and turned towards him, but he was already trailing the column of my neck. “You smell like water and earth to me, as age old and beautiful as the very caves I dwell and live. You are as pure and ever-lasting as a bubbling brook, crisp and refreshing, yet strong in its conviction.”
“Shut up Kouga.” I whispered as he grabbed my hips and rocked me against him. The slide was delicious and the friction perverted and foreign.
“I may have come off as a vagabond prince with a vendetta; and though it’s only a side of me, there is more I so wish to show you, so that you may know me. I shall do it all tonight; we would have an entire life-time Kagome. Suspended in this moment and frozen in our hearts, for us to relive again and again if we so wish. Let us make it a good one.”
He lifted my hips and I looked down to watch as his limb sprang upward in a more natural position. I glanced up at him and found myself stuck to his gaze, and I found a burning question there in those expressive cobalt blue eyes.
“I am true in my words, Kouga. Take me here as the lovers we should have been.” A red hot tear squeezed out from already raw flesh of the corner of my eye.
“As the lovers we should have been… I couldn’t have said it better myself.”
That first squeeze of his intruding flesh would sear through the pages of my memory with burning hot intensity. I did not bleed from him, Kouga was slow and pushed in only inches at a time, while bouncing me in his lap.
I sat wide-eyed and overwhelmed, hanging onto his shoulders as my world was rocked at its foundation. I was experiencing a moment of scurrility and Kouga’s muscles in his arms were rock solid as his cock as it slowly pushed itself in and out of me, gaining inches with each thrust until he sat me down ever so gently and I realized with a start Kouga was inside me.
“We are one now, Kagome.” He rumbled, his voice coarse and thick as his hands trembled, running up and down my spine as if I were made of glass. I swallowed and flexed the inner muscles that were now to prominently in the forefront of my mind. Kouga grunted and I gasped. It was like Kouga had suddenly become a part of me, inside myself, and I could feel him like I felt my heart, or my lungs expanding. I looked down at him and he slid his hands down my thighs.
“Dance for me, Kagome.” He whispered, a blush on his nose and cheeks. “Bring yourself pleasure, I wish to watch.” I made a small sound of surprise before blushing and biting my lip.
“H-hai.” I rocked my hips from side to side and Kouga’s eyes hooded, the cobalt of his eyes taking on a darker hue, as his lust grew. His claws flexed against my thighs and I smoothed my hands down my own body as I pulled my shoulders back.
I may not have ever done this before, but I could fake it. I grasped my own breasts as I circled my hips over his lap. Kouga snarled and dug his claws onto my flesh. The pain only heightened the pleasure, and the sharp bite of his nails sent a live-wire to my core, sending a washing warm wave through me. I tipped my head back and rocked harder as one hand slid up into my hair; the other slid down to grasp his fingers and dug them further into my skin.
“Kouga…” I whispered feeling a small tremor start in my stomach. The hand in my hair flew down to my groin and felt the movements and the muscles as his flesh manipulated my own from the inside.
It was an astounding concept, the mechanics of sex. The way it worked, how one thing triggered another, the equal and opposing forces of it? That’s when the waves started, and the trembling increased, I gave into the ebbing and flowing of my own blood, in sync it would appear, with the momentum of my hips.
“Kouga!” I whimpered with one hand back in my hair and tangled into a fist as I rocked harder, bounced faster. My hand on his tightened and he growled, fangs peeking out from behind his lips and his cobalt blue eyes bleeding scarlet. Kouga began a low roar and a single bead of blood slipped from under his claw and I screamed his name, shivering and quivering in his lap I hunched forward and rode out the remnants of my first orgasm from a man. Kouga rose to meet me and urged me to lean against him. His fingertips were presented between our lips, inches apart.
“I cut you… with demon claws.” I smiled. Did he really think he to be so lost in the fears of mortals still? I shivered as he twitched inside me. He purred like a Cheshire cat as my cheeks inflamed. Appalled and embarrassed I smacked him in the shoulder.
“Baka-da! Don’t do that!!” He chuckled and licked my shoulder before nipping it, causing another droplet of blood to slide down my body. “Kouga!” I screamed, but couldn’t stop the giggle. “Knock it off!” “What? This?” He licked the column of my throat from base to chin and I sat frozen as he moved within me again and I swallowed. He growled and nipped my lower lip, catching the droplet of blood in a kiss.
I felt fire spread from the wound, linking in a live-wire from lip, to shoulder to thigh and it scorched a path so hot that I melted down and thrust back up into him with new vigor. He growled a laugh in approval as I shoved him back down, rocking back against him as I pinned his arms above his head and licked his neck, nipping not hard enough to bleed, but enough to hurt.
He winced and hissed, and growled and laughed as I licked and nipped at his chest and ribs.
“Such a fine chest, so broad and strong,” I praised and smoothed my palm across the bumps and dips of his torso, “it must be properly praised every day, as it the perfection of the wolf-demon.” His eyes, already scarlet flashed as he growled. “You would praise me in such manner and demand such things.” His fangs were large and though I could see the concern and fear for my safety, but I wanted the beast in the cage. I would allow him this night, and I would allow nothing to be left undone.
His bite had caused something in me, and when I noticed a smudge of blood on his own lip, I realized he had allowed our blood to mingle in that last kiss. Something I learned from Rin; demons would often use blood and sex as humans would use an aphrodisiac. How the girl had come by such perverse knowledge, I could only guess at.
“Kagome! Gods you set me on fire, woman, you know that?”
“Aa.” I whispered as I nipped the base of his cock, watching as it twitched and swayed heavily before me. “Fuck.” Kouga groaned, his legs trembling. “If you feel you must, then do as you please. But I would have you on your knees, Kagome… be careful how you play me.” His voice was almost drowned out by the growl in his chest. I sucked the tip of him into my mouth and his eyes flashed again, his fangs growing longer as he threw back his head and roared. I smiled and sucked him deeper into my mouth. It was then I tasted myself for the first time. I tasted sweet, like grass, but tart like lime. Once the taste of me was gone, the taste of him grew warm in my mouth. “Hmmm.” I moaned, I liked the taste of him and I sucked harder, enjoying the feel of him sliding along the length of my tongue. It was an interesting feeling, and I grew fond of it. I looked up at him and he was straining as if in great pain, and I froze.
I sucked long and hard as I pulled my mouth free with an audible pop. His head snapped up, sweat slipped down his throat, his muscles rock solid and twitching. “Wh-what is it?”
I smiled and coyly crawled the length of him to settle, prettily perched on his strong torso. His shoulders gave and we landed on the bed with a soft thud. “You, Kouga, are holding back.” I sat up and shook my finger at him.
I reached up to touch my collarbone and the illusion vanished. My flesh wavered to reveal its true state, Eight Dragon Seals, in solid black serpents that wrapped around each limb and across my back. “K-Kagome-?!” I silenced him with a kiss. With the Eight Seals active, Kouga and I could let loose with fear of harming my human flesh.
~
“You are talking to the both of us, Ryua.” Naraku said, using my voice.
:You’re demon blood is more tainted than my human blood could ever be, if I even tried, that is.:
“Well this is delightful. Now, where to begin-ah yes!” He pulled out his Thunder and Lightning blades, as massive as I remembered them and laughed. “This is as far as you go.” Naraku snickered. “How did you survive?”
“Well you see, when you erected the barriers and made the rules, I pulled some strings and found myself a cozy little body to make myself home in, again.” He laughed again and twirled his swords around before striking one into the ground. “Dragon Gale Lightning!” One stabbed in the earth and one pointed to the sky, the bolts of lightning met from above and below, before shooting out towards us.
“Souta!” “On it!” He leapt away with Hiei over his shoulder as Naraku pulled Sounga and back-handed the lightning strike back into the sky.
“Foolish.” Naraku chuckled as Ryua laughed and shook his head. “How true.”
“You’ll never guess who coming to join the fun.” Ryua taunted. “A good friend of yours, I’m sure.”
“I rather hope so, less you begin to bore me and cause your untimely demise.” Ryua rushed forward and Naraku raised Sounga. One of the Eight Seals shifted and released a black dragon that burnt across my flesh like a tattoo before Sounga surged with the power of a Dragon from Hell.
“Die. Dragon Twister.” The vortex of power circled with a low whine of power before it expanded so sharply it broke the sound barrier. With the howling scream of a hell dragon the vortex surged from the tip of the blade towards Ryua who skidded to a stop to watch in horror as his body was ripped to shreds.
A strong breeder…
…he is hanyou and is never strong!
..Naraku is stronger than the priestess…
The priestess is weak… her souls are weak
…weak souls….
…weak women…
“Enough!”
I gained control of my body with a single surge of willpower, and I slammed the Sounga back in its sheath with an angry snarl. “K-Kagome? Hiei isn’t hurt, but he won’t wake up.”
Glancing over my shoulder I sighed as I opened my eyes into the spectrum of energies.
“Oh. Decided not to wait then?” My spine tingled. My eyes widened… was it possible? Could it be true?
I thought she was dea?!
“Kagome neesan? Kagome!”
“Kagome, Priestess who dabbles in the dark art now… how interesting… I recall that sword. Long ago…”
“You… You are dead.”
“Not here I am not. I search for Sesshomaru, tell me where he is.”
“Why should I help you?”
“You’re right. You have no reason to. If you won’t tell me, I’ll kill you.”
“I dare you.” I laughed, mostly because of the surprise than sang through Naraku with profound clarity.
“As you wish.”
Converting /tmp/phpy7MNvt to /dev/stdout
