Title: Aka Nichibotsu

Chapter 1: Uta no Onna no Hito

~*~*~ 500 years ago *~*~*

A young girl wearing a green sailor fuku stood in the middle of an intense battle. She stood in a large field, where hundreds upon hundreds of youkais were surrounding the field, fighting against a select few. A young man, who looked to be about 17, wearing a red haori and hakama with sliver hair and golden eyes. He looked normal except for his deadly sharp claws, razor sharp fangs and silver dog ears. He had a large sword that was in the shape of a fang. With it, he was unleashing deadly attacks that were taking out youkais by the dozens.

The next person who was being attacked by youkais was a young girl, no more than 17 as well, who was dressed in a tight black cat suit with pink armor plates. She had honey brown eyes and her long dark brown hair swept up into a high ponytail so she could fight with more ease. She had a giant boomerang which she let fly and cut through many youkais that were too slow to move out of the way. Whenever any youkai came close to her, she would pull out her sword at her waist and bring them down. A fire neko stood by her side, bringing down any youkai that dared to harm her mistress.

A young man was another target. Looking to be just a little older than the other male and female, he was dressed in the traditional garbs of a houshi. He had a small dragon's tail on the nape of his neck and violet eyes. The man attacked with a gold staff and ofudas, which he threw on the demons. He also had a deadly weapon at his disposal which he only released when a certain of large poisonous wasps would be far enough away so he wouldn't risk his life. That weapon was the kazaana, an air void in his hand that could suck in everything and anything.

Next was a small child no more than ten and barely even two and a half feet. The small child was a male kit with vivid green eyes and rusty orange hair. He stood close by to the fire neko and helped the neko take out any youkai that got to close with his Kitsune Bi.

Finally, there was the girl in the sailor fuku. She had very dark navy blue hair and expressive blue/grey eyes. She stood with her bow notched with an arrow, pointing at her opponent. A corrupted man that became a demon, and now possessed nearly all of the Shikon no Tama. He was only four shards shy of the entire tama. Three shards that girl possessed. And one shard was left to the other girl to retrieve.

They each stood ready to attack, not noticing the other battles going on. Each waiting for the other to make the first move or the first sign of weakness. But, neither did.

"Kukuku miko, just hand over the Shikon no Kakera you have and I'll consider letting you and your friends walk away alive," he offered to the 'miko.'

"Never Naraku. I will kill myself before I willing hand over the Shikon no Kakera! Shinei Naraku!" 'Miko' yelled at him as she let her arrow go. As it neared him, it glowed a bright pink color and destroyed his arm.

"Kukukuku miko. You cannot kill me," Naraku said evenly as his arm grew back.

'Chikuso! Where is the other half to Hakudoshi so I can finally kill this bastard!?' 'Miko' thought angrily.

Naraku lunged at her, but she was able to barely dodge. Before she could gather her thoughts and come up with a plan of attack, Naraku attacked her again. This continued for a long time. Neither being able to touch the other.

While, the other girl had been able to kill off most of the youkai that came near her with the help of the kit and neko, she wasn't able to keep all of them from getting close. A youkai saw an opening and went in for it. It was going to be an unhonorable attack on her. But before the youkai was able to attack her, it's head was sliced cleanly off. The girl turned around and saw a young boy that looked to be 12. That young boy looked so much like the girl standing there, almost like they could be related somehow.

".....Kohaku-kun?... Is that really you...?" the girl asked with hope clearly in her voice.

"Hai, it's me aneue. I need you to do something for me," the boy known as Kohaku told her.

"..What?" she asked, trying to keep the youkai from attacking them.

"I know where Naraku's heart is! Come with me and I'll help you destroy it before he finds out about my betrayal," Kohaku answered as he ran off towards the forest.

'Kuso..' She turned to her fire neko, "Kirara, protect Shippo!" She ran off after the young boy.

They ran into a very thick forest, and the girl thought they might have gotten lost. But that soon disappeared when the came to a small clearing with an albino looking girl and a small baby. The albino girl was holding a mirror, that the girl's hand tightened on her boomerang at seeing.

"San-go.. I mean no harm. Just free my imouto and me and that is all," The albino girl was very soft spoken and seemed to be void of anything.

The girl, known as Sango, nodded and took her boomerang off of her back. She got into a stance and prepared her boomerang. "Haraiikotsu!" she released her boomerang at the baby and sliced it in half.

The albino girl's mirror shattered and disappeared as the girl began to slowly fade away. "Arigatou Sango.." the girl said as she completely disappeared.

"Dou itashimashite, Kanna," Sango whispered back to her.

Kohaku let out a strangled gasp as the Shikon no Kakera was pulled from his back. Sango turned around and saw him collapse on the ground. "Gomen ne, aneue. I have to go to reikai to be judged for my sins. I'll wait for you, aneue," Kohaku coughed out as he fell to the ground lifeless.

Sango looked at his body with tears falling down her face, "I will wait for the day we meet again, Kohaku."

"SANGO!?"

"SANGO-CHAN!?

Two male voices called out the first one while, a woman's voice and a child's voice called out the last one. "OVER HERE!" Sango yelled over to them.

The figures that had been fighting before came over to join Sango at the small battleground. They saw the dead body of Kohaku and the baby and knew that Sango had defeated Naraku once and for all.

"Good job Sango-chan!" the girl patted her on the back.

"Indeed, magnificent job Sango," the houshi told her as he inched a little to close to her.

"Don't even think about it houshi-sama!" she ground out as she pinched his hand.

"Feh. Houshi no baka," the demon looking man said arrogantly.

"InuYasha's just too stubborn to tell you that you did a great job Sango-chan!" the little kit told her with a smile as the neko mewed in agreement.

"Osuwari, InuYasha! Don't even think about hitting Shippou-chan!" the girl yelled at him as she grabbed the kit protectively.

"Kagome-sama, I believe we should make the Shikon no Tama whole once again," the houshi told the girl.

"I suppose you're right Miroku-sama," Kagome sighed as she put Shippou down.

Sango bent down and picked up her little brother's shard, "Here Kagome-chan. The last shard," Sango said as she placed in it in Kagome's hand.

"Dou itashimashite, Sango-chan," Kagome said before she pulled out the rest of the jewel.

Kagome placed the last shard where it belonged and not even a second later, the Shikon no Tama glowed pink and let out a blinding white light. When the light subsided, everyone was unconscious. Kagome clutched the Shikon no Tama in her hand, trying to protect it even in an unconscious state. That was how the lord of the western lands found them. With the pleading of Rin, he put them all on Ah-Un and headed back towards his castle. Lord Sesshoumaru had every intention of finding out if his worthless half brother had indeed defeated Naraku.

~*~*~ 300 years later *~*~*

"...Kagome-sama..?...Kagome-sama...?.." a little girl tugged on the sleeve of a white haori. The little appeared to be trying to get the attention of someone.

"Oh.. I'm sorry I worried you Rin-chan... What was it you wanted?" the woman known as Kagome asked the little girl.

"Sesshoumaru-sama wanted to see you!" Rin exclaimed happily as she began to pull Kagome down the hall.

They arrived in front of a large oak door that opened to reveal a large study. Behind one of the desks was a regal looking inu taiyoukai. "Kagome-sama, please sit down.. Rin, wait outside.

"Hai, Sesshoumaru-sama!" Rin said happily as she left and Kagome took a seat.

"You wanted to speak with me, Sesshoumaru-sama?" Kagome asked him after a few moments of silence.

"Hai, I have received information that a war is coming here. Lead by many demons who all seek one thing..." Sesshoumaru trailed at the end to let her pick up on some hidden thing.

Kagome gasped as she clutched her chest, "The Shikon no Tama!"

Evil place to leave off at. But oh well... the next chapter should come out tomorrow and that's when the first member of the YYH gang steps in. So, please review. I would really appreciate it!
