everyone this is my first fan fiction on this site. I will take any kind of reviews as long as they aren’t to critical. Lol. Plz review and if you have any suggestions I would like to hear them.

*chapter one*
Kagome laved in her bed trying not to think of what happened a few hours before. The group had finally defeated Naraku, but at a great cost. Sesshoumaru had agreed to help in the final battle and koga also said he wanted to help to ‘protect his woman’. Inuyasha wasn’t to happy about it but Kagome and the rest of the group didn’t care, it was two more people to help bring Naraku down. But even with Sesshoumaru and koga’s help the group had fallen and fallen hard.
*flashback*
The final battle that the group had been waiting for had finally come. Sessoumaru and Koga had come earlier that day to see if they had and rumors to where Naraku was. Not even an hour later and Naraku and his creations.
Koga and Inuyasha were fighting once more, "Leave, mangy wolf! Naraku's head is mine!" Inuyasha snarled."I am here to protect my woman, since ya can't even keep an eye on her!" Koga shot back."..." Sesshoumaru said nothing, "Naraku..."Naraku cackled as he appeared, in his actual form. "All my rivals.""Rin, Jaken, go." Sesshoumaru told his vassals."Yes, M'lord. Come, Ah-Un." Jaken took Ah-Un and Rin away.Kagome took out her bow and arrows, as Sango prepared herself. Shippo leapt from Inuyasha's shoulder so Inuyasha could take out his Tetsusaiga. Koga looked cockier than ever, and Sesshoumaru looked more evil than ever! <<not good!>>Kagura and Kanna were behind Naraku. Miroku was ready, holding his beads so Kazaana could open faster. Kagome turned to Shippo “Shippo I want you and Kirara to go to kaede’s for me ok? I don’t want you to get hurt. Be safe and help Kaede prepare for when we get back ok?”
“ok mamma”
Shippo ran to Kaede’s hut before the battle got started.
Inuyasha and Koga were still bickering in the back.
Kagome turned to them and said “ Inuyasha, Koga STOP! We are getting ready to attack, we don’t need to lose anyone cause of stupid mistakes.” Kagome turned around and readied her bow. The rest of the group went in position again as Naraku’s creations came straight for them. Kagura fought Sesshoumaru, and by the looks of it Sesshoumaru was winning. Kagura was on defense most of the time. Sango took on her brother. She knew that she would have to fight her brother to get the shards, but she couldn’t bring herself to kill him. Meanwhile, Inuyasha and Koga went for Naraku himself. Naraku didn’t look worried and shot tentacles out only to have Inuyasha and Koga dodge them one by one. Kagome was watching her team fight. Every now and then she would shoot an arrow to prevent one of her teammates from being hurt. She knew how to fight because Sesshoumaru had one) adopted her as his sister by blood ,two) taught her how to fight to defend herself and to attack when she needed to and defend the lands she could inherit. Even though she could fight, they wanted it to be a surprise, so, she was in the back shooting her arrows.
As Kagome looked to see how much damage that has already been done she saw a tactical speed towards Koga. She yelled at him to move and she shot her arrow, but it wasn’t enough. The tentacle made contact with his stomach and went all the way though. He had a hole in his stomach and died almost instantly. Kagome rushed forward to Koga and started to cry over is body. She then looked up to see Sesshoumaru strike Kagura down with his sword. She laid on the ground dead. Miroku sucked Kanna up in his wind tunnel and went to go help Sango. Sango was on defense with her brother. She dodged every attack sent her way. She didn’t even notice that Naraku had sent a tactical at her. ``Miroku yelled at her to move but she didn’t get out of the way in time. Miroku went to her body and cried. He told her that he loved her and that he would try to avenge her death. Kagome was in shock. She just watched as her sister figure fell to the ground. Whole in her chest. Kagome sat there and cried, tears streaming down her face. Inuyasha was having trouble defending himself. Inuyasha fell to a tactical though the chest. Kagome, Miroku, and Sesshoumaru were the only ones left. Kagome couldn’t take it anymore. Her anger built and her sadness fed her anger even more. She stood up and notched her arrow in position. Kagome was glowing with new found power. Her arrow was blazing with her power. Kagome aimed for Naraku “Die Naraku!” Kagome released her arrow and it Purified Naraku to dust. Kagome fell to the ground exhausted, but managed to walk to where Naraku died and picked up the final shards of the Shikon no Tama. Kagome looked back to Sesshoumaru and Miroku. They were the only ones that survived the ordeal with Naraku, besides the ones at Kaede’s. Sesshoumaru came up to her, “ You fought well today. You should be proud of yourself.”
Kagome looked up into his eyes, “ Yes I know, but it hurts, My sister figure is dead, my brother is now to. Koga died protecting me and to avenge his pack. It just hurts to much. I don’t know what to do.” Kagome cried into his shoulder.
She looked up to see Miroku sitting by Sango’s bloodied body. Kohaku lay not to far beyond her. Kagura lay still and there was nothing left of Kanna seeing that she was sucked into Miroku’s air void. Demons of all shaped and sizes lay still, some in pieces, bloody on the ground. Kagome walked to Miroku letting Sesshoumaru help her walk.
“Miroku,” Kagome said quietly, “ Let’s bury them under the God Tree. We can hold a small service. Then we can wish on the Shikon no Tama. I don’t know what will happen when we do. I might be sent back to my time never to return. Come we need to bury them and pay our respects.”
Miroku looked up at her, “ Yes you are right as always Kagome. I just can’t believe that they are gone. Wishing them back would be selfish to all and would not fix anything. Lets go to Kaede’s and tell her the news.” Miroku lifted Sangos body and walked towards the village.
Sesshoumaru lifted Koga and Inuyasha. They walked to kaede’s in silence each taking in what happened moments before.
They got to Kaede’s hut. Kagome and the others were greeted by the village thanking them for destroying the evil. The group just nodded. Kagome was greeted by Kirara and Shippo.
They burried Sango, Inuyasha and Koga under to God Tree that night. Kagome spoke to each of them. She told them how they were special in her life and she would never forget how they changed her life. Later after everyone said their goodbyes the went to Kaede’s hut to contenplate on what to do with the Jewel. Seated around the fire were Sesshoumaru, Miroku, Shippo, Kaede, and last but not least Kagome. None of them smiled and stared into the fire.
“ We need to figure what to do with the Shikon.” said Kagome.
“Yes, that we do. Any ideas?” stated Miroku.
“I need to get back to my lands and report to the other Lords that Naraku is dead. I am sure they will want to know.”
“ Are you leaving now?” asked Kagome.
“I think I should. I sent Jaken and Ah-Un to take Rin home. I need to get back. Take care sister, in case that you are sent to the future, I would like to know where you live to be in contact with you.”
“ Ah yes, Sunset Shrine, the year 2005,” said Kagome, ”Promise you will look for me?”
“Yes I do.” Sesshoumaru said and gave Kagome a hug “ Be careful and don’t killed before I come to see you or I will bring you back and kill you myself.” said Sesshoumaru.
“Hai, I will. You be careful also.” said Kagome and returned the hug.
Sesshoumaru walked and disappeared in to the darkness.
“Ok. Back to business. What will the wish be?” asked Kagome.
“ I have no idea, is there away not to make a wish?” asked Miroku.
Shippo and Kaede came out to see what would happen.
“ I don’t know. Lets see what happens when we put it together.” Kagome said and put the remaing shards together. A bright light enveloped Kagome.
“Ah Kagome. I see that the Jewel I finally complete, what is your wish?” asked Midoriko.
“ We have no wish. Every wish in some way can be selfish in one way or another.” said Kagome.
“ Kagome. How thoughtful. That is the best choice. You are the protector of the Shikon no Tama and I trust your decision.”
“ Thank-you Midoriko-sama. What will happen now that the jewel is finished?”
“ Sorry Kagome but you will be sent to your time and can never return to this era. I am going to make you a demon so that you will be able to protect that Jewel you have with you in your time. You will be a demon with control over all the elements and the form of a Kitsune. You will keep your Miko powers. Kagome understand many people, humans and demons alike will come after you. You will be forbidden to both races. Demon because of the elements you pocess and the miko powers you have. Human because you are a demon. Now say your good-byes and I will send you back to your time. You have 10 minutes.”
“Hai, I understand it all.”
“Good. Be careful Guardian and protector of the Shikon no Tama”
“I will”
With the last words said the light faded around Kagome to show a demon with long black waist length hair. Tattoos that showed the elements she controlled. She had the tattoo of a dragon on her arm and a Jagon on her forehead. The Jagon had a headband around it. She was shorter now, only to be about 5 ‘2. Her eyes were now red with silver outlining them. She was beautiful.
“Miroku, it’s me Kagome. I only have eight minutes to say good-bye. I will miss you. Shippo listen to Miroku and Kaede. Be good. Miroku see to it that Shippo is taken care of. Kaede thank you for all you did. I am afraid I have to go now. Bye. Love you guys.”
With that kagome was transported to her home.
