Ch3:

Kagome.. looked down at her chewed up pencil.. then up at the shiny black clock that hung on the wall… 5..4..3..2..1..Bing! The whole class got up to leave … but the five in the back… Kagome looked over her shoulder at the four of them… some how the pretty Redhead , the Elvis boy, and the small one with anger management problems… all managed to get into trouble… and guess who was lucky enough to get to spend the next week in after school detention with them… Kagome….. she crossed her arms around her small frame and sunk down into her seat and started to mumble how embarrassed she was.. when the teacher walked over to them… he smiled down at Kagome… “ im sorry that you have to be here Miss Higurashi… but it would be most unfair if I gave them all detention and not you…” … Kagome stood up in rage at this… “ but the rest of the week… he was asking me to marry him… I had to hit him!” At this point she shot Kuwabara a look that made him fall out of his chair in fright… “ well.. I'm sorry… but could the five of you please go pick up trash from the gardens?...” he stopped and thought for a minute before he continued “yes that's good.. now go… ill come and get you in 2 hours…” he looked at the four boys now with a hardened look… “ you all had better be there..” with his list of rules given to them .. the five of them got up.. Kagome in the lead…. Kurama looked at Yusuke… “ don't you think that you should say your sorry… you know for getting her in trouble..” Yusuke grumbled as he walked out of the door and onto the school grounds that led to the Gardens.. “ sure..” he then started to walk a little faster to catch up with her… /Hiei… we should let them be alone… I think that he might be a little… to proud to apologize properly in front us?/ Hiei gave a small smirk at this… / hn… whatever…/ Kurama grabbed Kuwabara's arm .. “ hey what are you doing..?” … Hiei put his hand over the ningens mouth.. “ shut it Baka!” … The two of them dragged a screaming Kuwabara down and behind the green houses to take the long way to the gardens… when Yusuke turned around he stopped and looked around for the other three… finally after a few seconds he just shrugged and walked towards the angry girl…. “Kagome… that's your name right?” Kagome halted in her tracks and looked at him as he stopped next to her… “no its Higurashi-san to you.. and another thing… hey where did your friends go…?” Yusuke couldn't help the small grin that spread across his face… he's cute when he smiles… Kagome shook her head at the thought… scolding herself for having such a weakness for guys that seemed to be jerks… this guy was as bad as Inuyasha…. Inuyasha… Tears started to sting at the back of her eyes at the thought of him…. “ Hell if I know… and really I don't care…” He turned his head to look at her… he stopped walking and looked at her a little closer.. Kagome gripped at her shirt as a single tear slipped from her eye… o shit!... Yusuke looked from side to side for a way out… “ um don't cry.. I didn't mean anything… bad… I mean.. what did I do?” he hovered over her.. and for the first time.. he realized how small her frame was… how pretty she was… his body moved automatically … before he knew what he was doing he had wrapped his strong arms all the way around Kagome and pulled her to his chest… Kagome stopped breathing the second that he touched her… she tensed … but as soon as her soft body was pressed against his masculine build… she caved and started to fist at his green uniform as she tucked her head under his neck.. letting his warm welcoming scent take her into another world completely… “Hey….Urimeshi.. what are you doing to my girlfriend!” Kuwabara yelled from across the yard… Hiei and Kurama just stood there in shock and gave each other a quick glances before following Kuwabara… they had to grab Kuwabara as he swung at Yusuke from behind… Kurama pinned him to one of the pillars that was holding up the roof over the walkway … “ if you hit him… you'll hurt her…” Kuwabara's face shifted after the sentence left the fox's mouth.. “yeah yeah” he said as he pushed Kurama off of him… the two of them once again turned their full attention back towards a Yusuke that was still hold a sobbing Kagome… “ Yusuke.. what did you say to her…” Kurama asked as he walked over to his friend.. Yusuke moved his head and looked down at the girl in his arms… for the first time really comprehending all that had just happened … Kagome pulled back and stepped away from the man who's arms she had just been in… “ im sorry for anything I said to upset you” He bent down and pulled her chin up to meet his face… Just looking at her tear streaked face made his heart break… “ But.. you cant take anything I say so personally … if we are going to be friends..” after he said this he brought his thumb and forefinger back and gave her a small `flick' on the nose that made a smile cross her face.. “ whos said that I want to be your friend anyways..” she said as she stuck out her tongue.. “ Glad to see that you are ok… that I didn't scar you for life…” Kurama settled a bit at seeing her smile and came to the conclusion that Yusuke wasn't being a jerk… he was trying to be nice… Hiei just gave a small `hn' to show that he had had the same thought… Kuwabara just looked at the ground… “ well it wasn't anything you said..” Kagome gave him a soft look.. and turned towards the garden… “ then what was it… you just started to flip out and cry..” She looked over at him… the others following behind once again… “your smile reminded me of a friend.. that's all..” He looked down on her.. and what he saw made his gut retch… so many emotions at one time…He must have really hurt her…Kagome stopped all the sudden… and turned her self around to look at him… “hey… what do you mean I flipped out.. I do not flip out!”… “Yes you did! You were all flippy! `ah ah… im gonna cry and make the big mean man feel bad' that's what you thought…” he glared at her… Kurama started to laugh at the looks on the two's faces.. /I can tell that we are going to be seeing more of this girl…/ Hiei looked over at the fox… /I kinda like her… she keeps both the ningens in their places/ Yusuke was quite the rest of the way to the gardens… you cant ever win with chicks…

 

Inuyasha sat and stared at the well… when will she come back… we still have a mission to fix…he laid back and stretched his arms over his head… I know I hurt her but its been 3 days she should be back by now… memories of Kagome came flooding back to him…/ the way she giggled when he bit her neck.. how she moaned his name when he touched her… she was fun… but that was it … it was all fun… he didn't love her like she loved him… and it hurt him that he didn't.. but he couldn't stop himself… when she told him that she loved him… he felt bad… for taking her… for tainting her… for not being able to love her the way that she loved him.. or the way that he loved Kikyo… so that night he ran off… into the woods and found a girl from the village bathing in the springs… he seduced her into letting him have his way with her… he had her pinned up against a tree when he heard it… soft whisper of a girls crying… he turned around to see Kagome standing there… tears running down her face like never ending rain… then she took off.. towards the well… he lifted the panting young girl from his body and made sure his clothes were on properly before he ran after her.. “ Kagome!” he called as she came into view… she didn't stop she ran until she was at the side of the well… looking down inside it as if it might save her from this nightmare… she felt him behind her… he was sure because she turned around… he looked at her… she was only about 10 feet away but she seemed out of his reach… “Kagome..” was all he could say… his heart aching at what he saw in her once beautiful eyes that sparkled with life… there was nothing…emptiness… “ Kagome … I..I didn't mean for you to see that..” He looked at her… her body started to shudder.. “ Inuyasha… how could you. I… I .. your crushing my heart…I … loved you!.. I let you … how could I have been so stupid…” Kagome fell to her knees and grabbed at her head… tears running more violently as the sight of Inuyasha and that girl played over and over in her head… she just watched it as her world came crashing down around her…. She didn't even realize as Inuyasha walked over to her and pulled her off the ground and into his arms… “ssshhh… please Kagome forgive me…” Kagome… just let him hold her for a minute longer… trying to make herself believe that she didn't see any of that…. Then she pushed against his body… she fell back against the well with a loud `oomft' she pulled herself up and leaned against the well for support… Inuyasha looking at her with concern evident on his face… “ Inuyasha … tell me that you love me… that I wasn't just some game to you…” she looked at him … her eyes pleading with him to tell her that he did…. He looked down at the ground… and heard Kagome's body give another shudder as her sobs became more pronounced … “ Kagome… I care for you… but … but I don't love you Kagome…… Kagomes heart shattered as Inuyasha pushed her into the well… he listened to her scream.. then `flash' and she was gone… she'd be happier in her time for now… he told himself that's why he pushed her… but it hurt him because you can try to lie to yourself … but you always know what the truth is.. deep down… he did it because he couldn't stand to see the hurt on her face… that he… had put there… He barely noticed as Shippo came running past him…/ Inuyasha lay there… all that had happened flashing by in only a few short seconds… Kagome.. please come back… im sorry…

 

 

A/n.. there I hope its ok… now you know what happened… oooo….oooo… Inuyasha is a mean bad boy…ha ha … but really I do hope that you enjoy it.. thx again.. r&r
