Chapter 4: Love at First Fight

InuYasha and the gang were walking through a forest in silence, then a beam of light appeared before them as Faith, Yami, Lee, Destiny appeared as it vanished. As they explained themselves to InuYasha and the others another beam appeared, they thought it was Yusuke and the gang but only a single person appeared from it. It was Nanashi, she explained herself to everyone as they listened.

InuYasha: So your saying this Jidus guy has made a pact with Naraku?

Lee: Yes, he has also made some other people come here without there will also.

Kagome: Where are they?

Then a beam of light appear again, this time it was certainly the Yusuke and the others as they looked about and then saw the others. They all made there introductions and they started walking again.

Faith: So what do you think?

InuYasha: Alright as long as you can keep this Jidus guy off my back we’ll accept your help.

Yusuke: Same goes for me, that Jidus guy has been ticking me off!

Jin: What did he do to you Urameshi?
Yusuke: Months ago after the Dark Tournament he challenged me to a fight, I accepted and as just as we started he kicked my across the street almost into a car, but he shot it killing the people inside as well as ten blocks that was on the other side of the street. For some reason I survived the blast and when I opened my eyes I saw him just looking at me with those red eyes of his as he sneered. Long story short he didn’t care at all that he just killed all those people.

Nanashi: How evil!

Destiny: What do you expect from an evil person as him, I bet he doesn’t even have any sympathy for anybody at all.

Since the tension was rising within them Shippo tried to take it to a lighter perspective.

Shippo: Come on you guys can we just have a simple walk without having such negative attitudes.

InuYasha just hit Shippo on the head to make him be quiet.

Shippo: Ouch that hurts! Kagome he’s hurting me again!

Kagome: Stop that he was only trying to help!

InuYasha: He was annoying me, someone had to make him be quiet!

The others just watched until Kagome said the ‘S’ word.

~ Naraku’s Castle ~

Jidus, Kaline, Shadow, Kuro, Genjii, and Zarku appeared before Naraku, Kagura, and Kanna.

Naraku: Jidus, I’ve seen the testing excellent work.


Jidus: Thank you, but I should worn you Naraku the people that I brought here are going to be a bit more powerful.

Naraku: How so?

Jidus: They have powers that only me and my teammates can defend against. It’s called spirit energy, its basically projectiles and weapons made out of spirit energy that I suspect neither of your incarnations can defense themselves against.

Naraku: We shall see Jidus, but for now I’m going to send you and the others to fight them tomorrow. So for now get some rest.

Jidus just nodded as he and the others left, but instead of going to their rooms they went outside into the field.

Kuro: Are we actually taking orders from him?

He looked to her and chuckled.

Jidus: Heh... not really, after we take care of the weak fools we’ll betray him.

Zarku: Won’t he notice us doing that?

Jidus: Not at all, we are more powerful than him...

Kaline: What is it?

He just looked over his shoulder towards the throne room.

Jidus: Kagura I know your there stop hiding from us.

Kagura then walked into their view.

Shadow: How much did you hear?

Kagura: The whole thing, why are you going to kill me?

Genjii just took out his sword while Jidus just looked at her then closed his eyes and turned away from her.

Jidus: No we will not, Kagura go to Naraku he wants to speak with you.

Kagura: How do you know this?

Jidus: Let’s just say I can hear things others can’t.

She just left as the others looked at him.

Kuro: Are you going soft on us?

Jidus: Of course not! I can sense her soul she wants to betray Naraku as much as we do that’s why I spared her.

Zarku: Ohhhhhhh... Jidus and Kagura sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G!

He just appeared before Zarku with his scythe almost touching Zarku’s face.

Jidus: Say that again and I’ll make sure you never see the light of day! Understand?

Zarku just gulped as he nodded slowly.

Jidus: Good...

He then looked at the others who just stared back.

Jidus: WHAT!?!

They all left to their rooms except for Zarku and Jidus, when everyone was gone he picked Zarku up by the shirt and slammed him against a wall.

Jidus: Even though your on my side I will only give your ass three more chances Okay?

Zarku nodded quickly.

Jidus: And don’t tell Kagura about what you said! If you do I’ll make sure you get the most hits from the enemy!

Zarku nodded again as Jidus put him down on his feet.

Jidus: Alright, now let us get some rest we have a big day ahead of us.

As they left to their rooms Jidus looked about to see if anyone was there, he found no one about then left. When he closed his door Kagura then came out from her hiding place near were Jidus and Zarku talked.

~ Forest ~

At sunrise everyone rose from their resting places in the clearing.

Kagome: Did everybody sleep well?

Faith: I feel great!

Lee: Same here.

Destiny: Eh, I slept better.

Nanashi: I feel energized.

Yami: First time I slept outside before, but I’m good.

Zarku: Good, my doctor says I need to exercise today.

They all turned to see Jidus, Kaline, Shadow, Kuro, Genjii, and Zarku the evil side just staring a Zarku for the joke.

Zarku: Geez, tough crowd.

Then the wind picked up as the heros looked up to see Kagura landing away from everyone.

Kagura: Naraku only told me to watch the fight so count me out.

InuYasha: So which one is Jidus?

Yusuke: The one with the scythe.

InuYasha looked at Jidus.

InuYasha: That’s him! He’s mine!

Lee: InuYasha don’t!

But it was too late as InuYasha charged at Jidus who just summoned the shadows about him and vanished. InuYasha looked around but couldn’t find him.

InuYasha: Quit hiding and show yourself!

Jidus’s Voice: Why and spoil my fun? I don’t think so.

Jidus then appeared right behind InuYasha and was about to attack him.

Lee: Twin Sword Slash!

Jidus then jumped away from the attack as InuYasha jumped over it and struck downwards towards Jidus. But he blocked it and forced InuYasha back with a strike. Faith then came in the battle as she attacked Jidus from the side. He just jumped over her and flipped off the tip of the Tetsusaiga to face them both. Then Lee attacked Jidus as he jumped onto her shoulder and threw her with his feet. After that everybody started battling each other Shadow against Destiny, Nanashi against Genjii, Zarku against Yami, Kaline against Kagome. Yusuke then joined the battle by fighting Jidus while the others just watched along with Shippo and Kilala. After an hour the battle stopped, everyone fighting had battle scars on them. Jidus just healed himself as he sat under the shadows along with his teammates who were also being healed. He then sensed some emotions from the others on the heros side. He looked at them with narrowed eyes seeing Destiny healing them.

(Sango: That man, why is he joining Naraku with Jidus?)

She just stared at Zarku who was asleep.

(Kurama: That woman, she has something that’s making me attract to her.)

Kurama glanced at Kaline who was a little away from her team sitting in the forest.

(Kagome: This man, why am I getting this strange feeling around him.)

Kagome took quick glances at Genjii who was sitting away from everyone in a meditative state with his eyes closed. Jidus just smirked as he looked at the ones on his side.

(Jidus: They seem to be oblivious to the feelings radiating off these weaklings.)

He then felt someone sitting right next to him. Jidus turned his head to see Kagura who was staring right at him, he then just looked away as he felt something radiating from her.

(Jidus: Oh crap! If I am correct she is getting it too... but its faint so I don’t have to worry.)

She then whispered in his ear, his red eyes dimmed to a point were they couldn’t be seen anymore.

(Jidus: Dammit she knows about last night! And I can feel it raising ten times more!)

She just got a little too close for his standards so he scooted away more and more into the darkness until he was already near light, but it wasn’t enough as she just placed a hand on his leg. He raised his eyes to the heros the see them getting better. Jidus then looked at Kagura with narrowed eyes. She got the message and stopped but as she slowly rose she brushed her hand across his chest and flew off. As he looked about everyone else on his side was fine but as he was about to stand he looked up to see InuYasha and Yusuke standing in front of him.

Jidus: What do you two morons want?

InuYasha: We want to fight you and only you and end this little matter once and for all.

Jidus just was about to accept but was cut off by Naraku’s voice.

Naraku: Jidus you and your teammates must withdraw at once.

Jidus just growled as his teammates vanished but he lingered for a second as he slowly vanished.

Jidus: We will take care of this next time you fools.

He then vanished completely as InuYasha and Yusuke just glared at were Jidus once sat.

~ Naraku’s Castle ~

Genjii, Shadow, Kaline, Kuro, Zarku, and an angry Jidus appeared before Naraku and Kanna.

Jidus: Why did you stop us?!? We could of taken care of them easily!!!

Naraku: Patience Jidus, I just wanted to see how well all of you fought. Next time you fight them I want you to take their jewel shards.

Jidus: Just me?

Naraku: Yes just you, your teammates will be distracting them while you take them unnoticed.

Jidus: Stealth? That isn’t my style so no I will not do it! And I’ve decided to care of myself along with my teammates. I only made a pact with you so I can be an ally not another henchman knelling to your ‘power’! So from on my team and I will be planning things for our own!

Kagura then walked up to Jidus.

Kagura: Can I join you?

Naraku: I don’t think so as long as I still have your... what the?!? Where is it!?!

Jidus: Looking for this?

He opened his hand for Kagura’s heart to be there.

Jidus: The way you have a hold on people is weak and mostly pathetic. So I’ve decided to ‘help’ you with your problem and get her off your hands. Come we shall leave at once I have a place that’s better than this anyway.

They all vanished along with Kagura the only ones left were Naraku and Kanna.

Naraku: I need more henchmen.

He then looked to Kanna and her mirror and smiled.

Naraku: I might as well trap them all in one place.

~ Jidus’s Castle ~

When they arrived most of them were already astonished at Jidus’s castle. It was Japanese style of course but about it was walls of fire and mostly spells to repel any demon to try and get through. They just walked passed everything because of Jidus being there. When they got inside it looked more present era then feudal. Everyone just smiled except for Genjii who just looked about.

Jidus: I have enough bedrooms for all of you so don’t worry about that and I have enough bathrooms to for you all as well. I got a game room over in that room to my left I have all the latest games in their for all the console’s I have so make yourself at home. Oh yeah help yourself to anything in the kitchen and fridge, just do not touch my Ice cream sandwiches or you’ll face the fatal consequences.

Everyone left to do what they want as Jidus just sat down in the living room. The only one there was Kagura, he just looked at her and sighed.

Jidus: Here you can have your heart back.

He used the shadows to float it to her, but she used her wind powers to send it back.

Kagura: No, I want you to keep it I know its safer in your hands from Naraku.

Jidus face went from exhausted to surprised until he heard a snickering. He looked to see Zarku peeking his head in from the game room. His eyes slowly changed to reptilian as he slowly crawled across the couch and pounced at Zarku who had a head start and ran in the hallways.

Jidus: Ha! A cliffy I feel so evil again!

Metal Sonic: Ah! hush your going to continue anyway.

Jidus: Well yeah just after I get a few more evil characters to join me.

Metal Sonic: Why does it matter your going to have a party after this anyway.

Jidus: You moron! I was saving that for the end!

Metal Sonic: After two long chapters? Yeah but I thought I’d bring it out in the open for our viewers.

Jidus: Okay so they know after this they’ll want to swim in my pool.

Metal Sonic: Yay! Pool party!

Jidus: You’ve been hanging around G.I.R too long.

Metal Sonic: And your point is?

Jidus just shook his head as he went to set his castle up for the party later.

Metal Sonic: Review us!
