Hi peoples!! Sorry, I didn't update those other days. Bad case of writer's block. I hate it. Well, I would say this is still a very sad chapter like the rest, but in later chaps, I promise it will get better, Kagome will suffer not just Kurama. Hehehehe………………………R 30;………………..I'm so evil.

Kurama: Very.

Kurama: Mean to you? You're the one who is being very cruel to me!

HMF: That's true.

Kurama: Told you.

HMF: I do not own YYH or Inu! So you can't sue me. Hahahahaha.

Confusion Game

Chapter 4 (or is it 5, I don't remember)

Kurama sat in his apartment. It had been two days since Kagome moved out and into Sesshoumaru's house. He was heart-broken. Every time he saw Kagome, she would avoid him. He decided today he would see Kagome and ask what he had done wrong. For once in his life, he was actually jealous of Inuyasha.

Kurama stood in front of Kagome's work place, which was a restuarant. Walking into the place he spotted her cleaning the tables.

"Kagome." Kurama said softly.

Kagome looked up to see who had called her name. She noticed it was Kurama. Ignoring him, she resumed her work.

"Kagome." He called again, only to get no response.

Kurama was getting a bit angry, but brushed it away. He walked over to her and tapped her shoulder. Kagome knew he would not go away so she turned to face him.

"What?" she asked coldly.

Kurama flinched at the coldness in her tone. "Why are you mad at me? What did I do?"

"Why? Why!? I'll tell you why! I came home, I saw you lip-locking with Maya!" Kagome's voice grew into a soft whisper but Kurama heard every word, "I thought you loved me."

"I do love you." Kurama hugged Kagome, then was pushed away a moment later.

"I can never forgive you. Get out!"

"But-"

"I said, GET OUT!!"

Kurama didn't try to protest any longer. He walked out of the restuarant feeling miserable as ever. Kagome looked behind her to see people staring. It hit her that everyone was watching the scene that had taken place. Kagome started to get irritated of the stares given.

"Get back to your own damn business!!" she yelled.

The people went back to wha they were doing. `In a few hours I have a date with Inuyasha, I have no time to be wasting my time yelling at people who can't seem to mind their own business.' Kagome finished her tasks at work and went home to get ready for her date.

~*mean while*~

Kurama walked along the streets of the city and thought about how he and Kagome first met.

**Flashback**

Kagome ran from a couple of thugs from her school, Haru Jr. High. She turned in an alleyway, scared half to death. Wondering what kind of harm they would do to her when they caught her. She stopped at a dead end and turned to face the thugs.

"Hey babe, now it is time for your punishment for trying to run off from us." one boy said, obviously the leader.

"Please don't!" Kagome pleaded.

Two of the leaders lackies grabbed both of her arms. She tried to scream, but was silenced by a slap whenever she tried.

"Shut up, bitch!" the leader said.

"Hey! Leave the girl alone!" a calm voice ordered.

A red-headed boy was there. Kagome knew him from school, he was the one all of her friends swooned over. His name was known as Kurama. He stood in a fighting stance.

"Go away punk, we are trying to have some fun here." one of the lackies said.

Another one of the lackies, went up to Kagome with a knife in hand and cut open her shirt. The leader laughed in amusement. Kurama charged at them and knock two of the five down. Kurama then knocked out the two that were holding Kagome's arms. The leader was now pissed.

"I Hojo, leader o the gang, will defeat you.(ch, like he could)" Hojo was the worst fighter out of them all, and especially a wuss. Kurama kicked him in the stomach before he could attack. Hojo fell to the ground holding his gut. Kurama took Kagome home as she thanked him for his help.

**End Flashback**

Ever since then, they were friends. That was seven years ago that they met, they confessed their love for each other three years later. Kurama pondered on how he could have been kissing Maya. He hated Maya (sorry, I HATE her), she was such a prep and always tried to get him and Kagome to break up.

"Kurama!" a sweet voice called. (Kurama: Not that I thought it was sweet)
