Looking For Love by September is not mine!!!

Hiei sat by the wall impatiently. His fingers fidgeting against his knee. Genkai said she was going to come back with something later that night. He made sure Kayko left before he came back. It was late, around 12:30. He was going to wait, no matter how long it took for her to come back…he was going to find out what she did to him, no matter how long he had to fight her.
He glanced at Genkai and noticed in the past few hours her hair was turning from its dull pink color, to a light pink. The wrinkles around her mouth and eyes had completely disappeared, as well as the wrinkles on her hands. She looked 20 years younger. Yukina walked into the room and handed Genkai and Yusuke a cup of tea. She set a small cup of ice cream in front of him, his favorite flavor too, strawberries.
“Why are you still here?”
Hiei’s head snapped up at her tender tone, how she got into the room without him noticing was a mystery. He looked to see she was crouched in front of Yusuke with a perplexed expression.
“ What did you do to him?”
She turned back to look at him her expression slightly guilty, “I gave him some of my energy…I guess he liked it too much.” she finished with a light wince.
Hiei glared.
She sighed and tossed a package to Genkai.
“ Really is that all?” Hiei asked his tone bitter. All he seemed to think about was her at the moment like she had come in his mind and fought control over it and won.
She glared at him her face becoming lightly red, “I don’t know, how bout you ask your demon? That part of you seems to like me!”
Hiei flinched at what she was implying, he couldn’t have chosen her…or did he? She smelt so good to him, like nothing before her. She was what his mind was set on, what his body craved for, what his soul seemed to yearn for. When had he chosen her? How could this just slip by him? How did she even get his attention?
He didn’t say anything just watched as she stood and slowly slit her wrist. The scent of her blood, made him angry for some reason.
“ Here. Mix that in the powder and rub it where ever it hurts.”
Genkai nodded and glanced at Hiei who looked like he was about to jump Kira.
“ Calm down you. I swear its like you’ve never smelt her blood before, considering that you had drawn her blood just hours ago.” Genkai said annoyed, her now teenage hormones snapped.
He leaned back but his body was tense ready to pounce.
With a sigh she looked down at Yusuke and frowned, “ Would it make you happy if I made her happy?”
Yusuke looked up at her confused, “what do you mean.”
With a disappointed look at Hiei she turned back to Yusuke, “ Well, since she’ll be quite unhappy with Hiei having chosen me, I could…disappear. Like I never was here.”
Hiei stared at her in disbelief as a sharp stab of pain struck him in his chest, threatening to steal his breath away.
“ But how would that effect him? What about you? And why would you do that in the first place?”
“Well, he’d be in pain…and well me? What do I matter? You just met me…and you’ll be in pain if she is, no? You seem to live off her, yet your demon hasn’t chosen her…” she frowned lightly.
“ In pain? What do you mean?” he asked looking a Hiei who had stopped looking at them, and seemed to be trying to ignore them.
“ Well you love your human right? It’s the same thing but to him we are meant to be. I was made to be with him, most demons die if rejected. That’s how much it hurts. But he hasn’t marked me so I doubt he’ll die he’ll just be extremely angry.” she nibbled on her lip as she spoke.
“ So…if you leave…wouldn’t it hurt you too? I mean you said you were made for him.”
She flinched blushing lightly, “ I’m good with pain, I disserve the pain. You shouldn’t be worried about me anyway. So do you want me to leave or what?” she seemed to be getting annoyed.
“No. I think she’ll be fine. Kayko’s strong.” Yusuke sighed.
Kira held back a growl, she didn’t want him to say that. The first night after seeing him had been hell. Not only was she drawn to him, she felt like she needed him and that didn’t go well with her. She wasn’t used to needing something. Much less someone!
“Okay so I’ll stick around bu--”
“RING! RING! PICK UP YOUR PHONE HOE!” Kira looked down at her waist, her phone screaming at her.
“ What?” she frowned as she answered the phone.
“ WE have an issue!”
“I’m on my way.” he voice dropped any emotion her face becoming blank.
She blinked and excitement sparked in her eyes, “Gotta go.” she said and skipped to Hiei and gave him a kiss on his nose.
She snapped and was gone.

(Earlier on that night.)
“ So, what’s this party for?” Ami said as she placed her chin on Kenji’s shoulder, the car seat in between them.
“It’s a graduation party.”
“ Man, I feel old now…” she pouted.
Kenji chuckled and glanced at Kagome who was holding back a smile, “ You are old.”
Ami bared her teeth and snapped her jaws at her.
They all laughed as Kenji pulled up to a large house, many people outside talking and eating.
They all stepped out a great amount of people greeting Kenji and Kagome, and silently gawked at Ami. She smiled to herself, but as soon as she walked in her smile fell and she growled softly.
Kagome smiled, No one who knew Ami would be stupid enough to confront her now that she had gotten a whiff of Koga AND Ayame. She sighed and linked arms with Kenji and walked in the same room that Koga, Inuyasha, Sesshomaru , Miroku, Ayame, Kikyo, Kagura, and Kim were in.
She distinctly heard Koga suck his breath in and let it out slowly. She glared at the wall above his head. Kagome gave them an absentminded wave, but heard her name being called softly.
“Kagome-Chan!”
She turned around to see a tiny Rin smiling a her.
“Rin?!”
“Yeah! How have you been!?” she laughed as she made her way into Sesshomaru’s vision. He frowned his eyebrows but said nothing.
“Good. What are you doing here? Aren’t you a junior?”
She gave her a sheepish smile and blushed, “ Yeah…my friend Shippo invited me.”
Kagome laughed again, “ But he’s a junior too!”
“ Kohaku’s not.” she said with a grin and blew kisses to the other side of the room, Kagome looked to see him catch the kisses and place them to his heart with a roll of his eyes.
Kenji looked at Sesshomaru who was glaring at Rin and smirked, “ I didn’t know You and Kohaku were together…no wonder he likes helping you out.”
Rin frowned and looked slightly repulsed but saw his smirk and glanced quickly at Sesshomaru who was glaring angrily at his shoes, much to her surprise.
“ Oh yeah, me and him are together forever.” she said in a sarcastic tone, “ Oh! Lord Sesshomaru! I didn’t know you were here!” she smiled.
“ Rin.” he said and looked away from her smiling form.
“ Oh hey you guys too!”
“ Geez, we see who you prefer.” Inuyasha joked.
She glared at him and flipped her hair, “If you weren’t my boss I’d kick your ass.”
The smirked but it faded slightly as he noticed Kagome whispering something into some guy’s ear. She smiled and kissed his cheek. He looked at Ami and she looked almost as cold as Sesshomaru on his worst day. She glanced at him and winked.
Kikyo glared at her and Ami bared one fang and looked in the opposite direction.
“Do you really have to act like that?” Ayame asked agitated.
“ Do you really have to talk?”
Couple of people snickered softly, Ami sighed and checked her watch, it was 10:30, way too early to end a party. She flipped her long bangs out of the way and walked to a couch, she suddenly paused.
“ Been a mighty good girl
Living like a slave to your words

I'm coming up with nothing to show

Her face turned red with embarrassment. Her voice echoed out from the speakers, smooth and sweet. She distinctly heard Kagome’s bails of laughter. She spun on her heel and walked back to Kagome and roughly whispered in her ear:
“ You brought the CDs?!?!?!!”
“I didn’t mean too!! I didn’t look at the names!!” she giggled out.
“Take that crap off!!!” she hissed.

“What’s wrong?” Kenji asked confused.
“ It’s Ami!” she giggled.
He looked at her in amazement, “Are you serious?”
Kagome smiled, “Yup! In her senior year she got record deal and she created a bunch of songs. But she did it just for fun and told the Record Company they couldn’t publish it. She‘s embarrassed about them as you can see, she had kept them for like family parties…but I think she would have gone big if she had let the company publish the songs…I mean look at all the people….”
Very one was dancing to the beat and trying to learn the words already. you could hear people asking who it was and who had brought the CDs.

Sesshomaru frowned, Ami could sing? Since when? And why wouldn’t she want the songs published, she would be a millionaire by now if she had…he turned his head to where Rin was dancing with a red-headed fox kit, he twirled her and tossed her into the air, her lips turned upwards in a smooth, happy smile. A feeling of remorse and anger vibrated inside his chest. He had known Rin for some time now and she had always been a shy quiet girl, sweet and innocent. He never directly spoke to her but he liked watching her silly antics such as dancing while cleaning or singing while cooking. She was always on the move doing something. He had caught her dancing and singing once and stood their until she turned around. She saw him and let out a yelp and almost tripped on herself.

Koga held his breath as Ami’s voice vibrated threw the speakers. Ayame was confused, not recognizing her own sisters voice. Ami’s shorter hair making her look edgy, when they had both been in school, she had long silky black hair that touched her knees. After they had broken up ( or he had been caught cheating on her) she had chopped it off completely. He winced as she shook her head as she smiled, threw her head back and sang the words along with the Disk.

Inuyasha came to sit next to Ami. He listened to the words and blinked in surprise. This was the song Ami had been singing on his graduation party. Kikyo was graduating this year, and that was the only reason he was here. He always had known she could sing, she was always singing when ever he was around at least.

Miroku smiled as he watched Kagome smile at Ami’s soft singing. He silently wondered where Sango was, she was always with her brother at parties like this. Kim his on and off girlfriend hummed along with the song and smiled at him. He looked away from her and noticed how Ami’s face turned serious in a split second as she tried to look away from Koga and Ayame. Considering Ayame was trying to sneak a kiss, it was no wonder why she seemed to on edge. Ami was a nice person in general, but she wasn’t exactly the type of person who you’d like to be friends with.

Kagome smiled as the song came to an end. Ami quickly rushed to the stereo and waited for the last line to be sung.

She took out the CD and put it back in the CD case. She sighed softly, as she heard Ayame complaining about how Koga was ‘mean’ to her. She rolled her eyes and sat next to a TV right across from the others and closed her eyes.
“It’s because she’s here isn’t it? You always think about her don’t you? Why are we even together if you love her so much?!!”
“ Ayame just shut up. For the love of all that is holy!” he hissed.
“Ami!”
Ami opened her annoyed eyes to train them on Ayame. She walked over and stood directly in front of her.
“What?” she asked her voice tired.
Without reason, or even thought, Ayame’s hand flew up and slapped Aim right on her cheek. The whole room went quiet as Ami stopped breathing and the air filled itself with an electrical charge. She shook her head out and stood up, standing about 4 inches taller than Ayame. She touched the center of her chest and made her fly back as an unimaginable amount of electrical charge flew into her.
With a wicked smile, she raised her hands and clenched them into fist as a blue current of electricity was created. She opened her fist and walked to Ayame to touch her again. Her body convulsed as the energy was forced into her body.
Kagome with a calm face dialed a number and sighed as it was picked up too slowly for her taste considering the situation.
“ What?” someone on the other end asked.
“WE have an issue!” she hissed
“I’m on my way.” the voice answered and hung up.
Ami let out a small laugh as she flung Ayame to the other end of the room. No one even moved. Her aura was surrounded with a dark shadow that created a sense of pure fear in the room. People inched out of the house slowly afraid that if they moved t quickly she would bring her anger out on them. Koga couldn’t move, he wanted to but he actually couldn’t move!
He glanced to the side to see that the others were having the same problem. They pulled against the invisible robe holding them down. Kikyo managed to get herself free,
“ You will stop this right now.” she hissed energy radiating from her fingered tips.
Ami ignored her and Kagome flinched, this was going to get messy.
Kikyo grabbed Ami’s arm and her eyes widened as her power was slowly being sucked out.
Ami sighed, “Now, why would you go on and do that? I thought you want your friend to live“ she hissed as the pure energy was being transferred to Ayame’s body causing her body to convulse again, and her skin began to turn a light red color where ever Ami touched.
Kagome held her breath and let it out slowly. Ai was too strong to be purified, she had some how found away to become immune to it…she actually enjoyed the power it gave her.
“Ami.”
“What Kagome?” she sighed taking her amused eyes away from Kikyo.
“I Called Kira.”
“Good.”
“ Don’t kill anyone.”
“I promise.” she smiled as she sent a new round of electric volts into Ayame’s body with the addition of Kikyo.
“Lets go Kenji.”
“Wha? But Ami…”
“She’ll be fine.”
“We have to stop her…”
“We can’t at the moment,” she cooed persuading him easily, “ and we don’t want to be here when Kira gets here. You’ve seen her, she goes blood crazy!”
“Fine…but no one will die right?”
“Right.”
“Alright, lets go.”
Kagome’s smile was radiant. She sighed as she gave her old friends a cold smile and waved good bye. It was time for them to get the ‘shock’ of their lives.

Kagome smiled as the song came to an end. Ami quickly rushed to the stereo and waited for the last line to be sung.
Everybody's looking for love
She took out the CD and put it back in the CD case. She sighed softly, as she heard Ayame complaining about how Koga was ‘mean’ to her. She rolled her eyes and sat next to a TV right across from the others and closed her eyes.
“It’s because she’s here isn’t it? You always think about her don’t you? Why are we even together if you love her so much?!!”
“ Ayame just shut up. For the love of all that is holy!” he hissed.
“Ami!”
Ami opened her annoyed eyes to train them on Ayame. She walked over and stood directly in front of her.
“What?” she asked her voice tired.
Without reason, or even thought, Ayame’s hand flew up and slapped Aim right on her cheek. The whole room went quiet as Ami stopped breathing and the air filled itself with an electrical charge. She shook her head out and stood up, standing about 4 inches taller than Ayame. She touched the center of her chest and made her fly back as an unimaginable amount of electrical charge flew into her.
With a wicked smile, she raised her hands and clenched them into fist as a blue current of electricity was created. She opened her fist and walked to Ayame to touch her again. Her body convulsed as the energy was forced into her body.
Kagome with a calm face dialed a number and sighed as it was picked up too slowly for her taste considering the situation.
“ What?” someone on the other end asked.
“WE have an issue!” she hissed
“I’m on my way.” the voice answered and hung up.
Ami let out a small laugh as she flung Ayame to the other end of the room. No one even moved. Her aura was surrounded with a dark shadow that created a sense of pure fear in the room. People inched out of the house slowly afraid that if they moved t quickly she would bring her anger out on them. Koga couldn’t move, he wanted to but he actually couldn’t move!
He glanced to the side to see that the others were having the same problem. They pulled against the invisible robe holding them down. Kikyo managed to get herself free,
“ You will stop this right now.” she hissed energy radiating from her fingered tips.
Ami ignored her and Kagome flinched, this was going to get messy.
Kikyo grabbed Ami’s arm and her eyes widened as her power was slowly being sucked out.
Ami sighed, “Now, why would you go on and do that? I thought you want your friend to live“ she hissed as the pure energy was being transferred to Ayame’s body causing her body to convulse again, and her skin began to turn a light red color where ever Ami touched.
Kagome held her breath and let it out slowly. Ai was too strong to be purified, she had some how found away to become immune to it…she actually enjoyed the power it gave her.
“Ami.”
“What Kagome?” she sighed taking her amused eyes away from Kikyo.
“I Called Kira.”
“Good.”
“ Don’t kill anyone.”
“I promise.” she smiled as she sent a new round of electric volts into Ayame’s body with the addition of Kikyo.
“Lets go Kenji.”
“Wha? But Ami…”
“She’ll be fine.”
“We have to stop her…”
“We can’t at the moment,” she cooed persuading him easily, “ and we don’t want to be here when Kira gets here. You’ve seen her, she goes blood crazy!”
“Fine…but no one will die right?”
“Right.”
“Alright, lets go.”
Kagome’s smile was radiant. She sighed as she gave her old friends a cold smile and waved good bye. It was time for them to get the ‘shock’ of their lives.
