I Can't Help but Despise You

Midoriko woke up the next morning & went on her usual visits to Youko. When she got there she saw him STILL trying to pull out the arrow. Youko realized her & sneered, "Why do you come"

"I need to see how many burn marks you have from trying to remove the arrow"

"Are you taunting me?"

"Why would I be doing that?"

"You know, your nothing like the Midoriko I heard so much about. I heard she was quick about her slayings & tortures but your nothing but an insane bitch that goes around pinning Kitsunes to trees. Are you sure your Midoriko"

"Positive but yourself, Youko, Your not what I expected. Instead of the calm, cool, & dashing thief, I've pinned an loud mouth egotist jackass of a bandit to a tree"

Youko wasn't amused, "Why don't cha go & see prince charming if you don't like me so much,"

"I believe I will," she said calmly then grinned, "I'll be back though,"

- An Hour Later, Koronorue still hasn't come & Midoriko is back with children from the village? -

Youko pretended to sleep as the children poked at him. "Is it safe Midoriko-Sama,"

"Hai, its quite alright"

There were 5 children with Midoriko. 2 kept poking at him, 1 pulled his tail, 1 bit one of his ears, & the last pulled the other ear. Midoriko chuckled as the children switched positions. Their mother soon came. "MIDORIKO-SAMA!" she shrieked "ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL MY CHILDREN!"

"Not at all! Hes in a deep slumber so he can't wake up unless I unleash the spell." Midoriko said

"Yea! Midoriko-Sama is powerful!"

"He didn't wake up AT ALL!"

Their voices got smaller as the children walked off with their mother. Soon the voices disappeared and Youko opened his eyes. "YOU INSANE BITCH! ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME!"

"Hai"

"Oh! I forgot, you're a nut so taijiya who is suppose to be fiancée to an overwhelming prince"

"You know, your lame when it comes to come backs,"

"Hn"

"I see your friend Koronorue never showed up today,"

"How do you know he comes?"

"Easy, his scent is usually all around this place numskull, it seems hes also taken quite a fancy to touch the sacred arrow,"

"And what if he does touch it,"

"You know, I can kill you at ANY moment I please,"

"What if you can? Doesn't matter to me, Atleast I can die knowing I've stolen something from the 'Legendary Midoriko' if you're really her,"

"You give yourself way too much credit,"

"Does it look like I care?"

"Hmm, hai, it does. And are you sure you're the real Youko, you act nothing like what I've heard about him,"

"Lets see, If Koronorue usually comes back for me, does that answer the question," Youko said

"Maybe today is a sign I didn't pin the real Youko," she smirked "I best be going, see ya Youko-Imposter,"

"I detest you," Youko muttered Midoriko vanished into the forest & back to her village

"Well, I'll give you credit for not trying," came a voice

"Easy for you to say, your not stuck to a tree & taunted all day," Youko muttered

"Aaa befriend the girl, if she can whirl you in with her taunts, you can whirl her in with yours,"

"I'll never understand you Koronorue,"
