Chapter 1
Koenma looked the two people over in his office before leaning back in his chair. “Let me make sure I understand what you're asking. Kagome, you want to give Sirius Black and Albus Dumbledore their lives back in exchange you'll serve Spirit World 500 years?” Koenma asked. Kagome took a deep breath before looking behind her at her mate Yoko Kurama then to the two sprits standing next to Koenma's desk. “Yes sir,” she said. Koenma sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration. “Dad's not going to be too happy about this but alright, you've got yourself a deal. Both of your bodies are now restored and you may return to them. Kagome, you will also be turned into a demon. Don't ask why, just live with it; now leave.” He said spinning his chair around.
Kagome bowed to his back before turning around and walking to Yoko. “You've made the right choice, I'm proud of you.” He said hugging her. “Thanks dad,” she said smirking at him. “Miss Higurashi, not many people would have done that if they could choose, but thank you.” Dumbledore said bowing to her. Kagome inclined her head before glancing at Sirius. Yoko felt her tense up before wrapping his arm around her, “let's go home, I'll get you something to eat.”
“Before you leave, would you two like a teaching job. As far as I know we have not found anyone to fill the Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher and you both would be perfect.”
“Don't forget to tell them the job is cursed.” Sirius smirked. Kagome paled at the information and Yoko smirked. “I love curses, count us in,” he said. “Excellent, we'll see you on the first of September; I'll send you some information about everything later on. Come Sirius I have a craving for a chocolate tart right about now.” Dumbledore said. Sirius laughed as he followed Dumbledore out of the office. “Cursed?” Kagome mumbled. Yoko led her trough a portal Botan created and stretched in the comfort of their castle living room. “I hate curses,” Kagome said walking past him, out of the room. Yoko smirked and followed after her to their bedroom. “I think my mate needs a back rub.” He said leaning forward and nipping at her ear. “Not tonight, every time you give me a back rub it always leads up to us having sex and I'm to tired tonight.” Kagome said grabbing her pajamas and walking behind the changing curtain.
Yoko's jaw dropped and he stared at the changing curtain until she came out. “Don't look at me like that you know it's true,” she said glaring at him out of the corner of her eyes. Yoko snapped out of his gaze and pouted. “Pouting is not going to work either. I've grown immune to your ways.” She said crawling into the bed. “Fine, but can we at least have a little fun?” he asked. Kagome turned her head and looked at him wearily before asking, “like what?” Yoko grinned before crawling over to her and kissing her. Running a clawed hand down her body he reached the top of her pants and began pulling them down. Before he could get far, Kagome pushed him away and smacked his hand away. “I knew I shouldn't have asked, I knew you would have tried to bed me. Read my lips; I'm way to tired.” She said rolling over. Yoko groaned inwardly before blowing out the candle and sliding under the covers with her. Rolling on his side, he snaked his arm around her waist before moving it southward again. “Ouch,” he said pulling his hand back after Kagome slapped him again.
2 Months Later
Kagome stared at Yoko's back as he stood away from her watching the storm outside of their castle. Sighing she brushed a strand of straight black hair over her shoulder and examined her claws. `I swear he's worse than a two year old. I can't believe he's still mad about me not letting him get into my pants two months ago.' She thought standing up from the table. “Yoko, are you still mad? I said I was sorry, do you want to go do something?” she asked with a husky tone in her voice to indicate what she wanted. Yoko glanced over his shoulder at her before staring back out into the storm. `Yep, he's still mad.' She thought walking over to him. Standing next to him she only had to glance up a few inches to see the look on his face, where as it used to be a few feet. Oh yea, there was some advantage to being a demon like the new height, hearing, smell, sight, and the claws. But Kagome loved the black fox tail and the black fox ears she got with the package.
Bringing her hand up to his face she turned his head to face her. Seeing his flinch she grew worried, “what's wrong? Something's happened to you.” Yoko brought his hand up to hers and slid it off his face. “We need to leave,” he said walking away from her. “Leave? To go where?” she asked. Yoko stopped in the doorway and kept staring straight ahead. “We have a teaching job, remember?” he said walking out of the room. Kagome let out a strangled sob before following after him. Walking into the bedroom she walked over to the bed and fell onto it. Grabbing her pillow, she put her face in it and screamed.
Yoko walked into the bedroom and raised his eyebrows at Kagome. “What in the hell are you doing?” he asked. Kagome shrugged and rolled onto her back. Looking at the ceiling she brushed away the tears that refused to fall. Whispering she looked over at him and said, “you hate me.” “Wh-what? I don't hate you.” He said taken aback. “Then prove it. You can't bear looking at me; I think it's pretty obvious.” She said sitting up. Yoko sighed before sitting on the edge of the bed and pulling her onto his lap. “I don't hate you, and I'm not mad at you either. Now, lets pack so we can go to this Hogs-pimple or whatever it's called.” He said into her hair. Kagome laughed and looked up at him, “it's called Hogwarts.” Yoko rolled his eyes before standing up with her in his arms. “Whatever.” He said running through the castle and stopping at the fireplace. Extinguishing the fire with his foot he ran all of the way to the airport with Kagome in his arms. “Two tickets to England, please.” Kagome said to the ticket person as Yoko put her down.
The ticket person gave them the tickets and took the money before Kagome and Yoko walked over to the boarding gate. “Flight 116 for Continental Airlines to London, now boarding, flight 116 to London now boarding.” The hostess said over the intercom. Kagome looked up at Yoko, fearfully before he began guiding her to the boarding gate. Handing the hostess her ticket Kagome looked up at Yoko, “did I mention I hate flying?” Yoko laughed and began nudging her down the ramp. “Go ahead of me.” She said. “No, because I know you, you're going to run out of the airport as soon as my back is to you. Don't worry, you'll be fine.” He said pushing her to the entrance of the plane. Kagome was pushed to her seat by Yoko and kept giving him pity me looks. “Here Kagome, take the window seat.” He said. Kagome sat down and looked out of the window as Yoko buckled her up. “See, it's not so bad.” He said buckling himself in. `Yea, easy for someone who didn't know what one of these things were 500 years ago.' She thought as the plane began moving.
11 hours 45 minutes later
Yoko yawned as the plane landed in the London airport. Leaning over Kagome he looked out of the window before shaking her awake. “What's wrong?” she asked groggily. “We're here.” He said as the hostess was telling everyone to unbuckle their seatbelts and leave the plane in an orderly fashion. “That wasn't so bad.” Kagome said walking out of the plane. “You were asleep the whole time, how would you know?” he asked walking out off of the ramp. “Shit.” Kagome mumbled. “What's wrong?” Yoko asked rubbing his neck. “We forgot to bring clothes.” Kagome laughed grabbing his hand and walking outside. Walking the few miles to the train station Kagome and Yoko slinked past the guards and walked onto the platforms. “Alright platform 9
