DEAR LORD I AM SOOOO SORRY. I got really depressed and quit writing. I never noticed how long it had been since i updated. I'll keep up now. I'm outta my funk... i hope. So please review and tell me if I have lost my edge... i dont care if I get flames. I've left you for too long and I feel really bad. I'm torturing myself by writing this at 2 AM and I have to be up by 7 to go to a 8-noon band camp.

Chapter 10



Everyone had left, all gone home. Dinner was made and sitting in the oven. Buyo was fed. The house was cleaned. Kagome was up sitting on her bed. Grinning evily at the wall. She got up and got dressed without a care in the world. Her grey eyes glazed witht he concetration on her shadow. She turned on her phone and it ran a few minutes later as she was eating breakfast, that was the dinner last night.

"Kagome," She said but was cut off for the rest of her greating.

"YOU LIAR! I HATE YOU KAGOME! HOW COULD YOU DO THAT! YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU! DID YOU NOT NOTICE I HAVE LOST EVERY ONE ELSE BESIDES GRANDPA! YOU SAID YOU'D ALWAYS BE THERE FOR ME, A PHONE CALL AWAY. YOU BITCH! YOU TRIED TO TAKE YOURSELF AWAY FROM ME TO. YES I JUST CUSSED AND GET OVER IT." Souta screamed into the phone.

"Souta!" Kagome said tartly. It kept him quite for a minute. "I'm sorry. I'm a bad sister, you dont need me. Your a big boy now." She said and shut her phone. It started to ring again. She just left it on the table. She went up and got her bag and keys. She walked down the stairs her phone buzzing, stopping for a minute for a screaming and cry Souta leaving messages on her phone. To call again in a minute. Her eyes were to dry to cry any more. Which was good. She was still as white as a ghost. She practically fell down the stairs, not being able to keep herself steady. She could feel eyes on her.

She pulled her door open and shoved herself inside. She threw her bag to the other side. She slipped the key in the ignition and closed the door. Rock music loud enough to deafen any one started to blaze in her car. She drove to school slipping from one side of the road to the other trying to keep herself councous. She got to school just as the bell rang. She wobbled up the steps and into her first class. Getting glares from most people in the class, a worried look from the teacher, and she just stared into space. The classes went by to slowly, she didnt pay attention, she just tryed to keep herself from slipping into comatose.

She could feel Miroku glareing at her, the girls looking at her with a mix of sadness and anger, and a mix from other people. She didnt pay attention to anything, she just followed her feet as they were programmed to go to her next class. She bumped into to something, well some one hard. She looked up groggly. There was the stoic Sheshomaru staring down at her. He growled and dragged her off.

"I'm sure your teachers wont notice if you miss yet another class." He said taking her outside to the forest, where just a few days prior the spunky Kagome was sitting on Kouga's lap.

"I'm sure you right." She said airily. And staggered and fell against a tree slumping to the ground. She just got an irritaed huff from the elder man. He stood with his back against the same Tree looking away from her.

"You've turned into a regal bitch you know. Not that it matters to me." He growled.

"No I'm sure it dosnt, since you only care about yourself. My emporer of stoic-ness." She said wiith a hiss of annoyance. She got enough energy to taking out her messy hair and re-do it in a better pony tail, yet some small peices still escaped to fall into her face. SHe looked down, she had decided to put on combat boots, baggy pants, and a tight fitting grey shirt. "Hey I didnt pick sometthing all that bad looking today." She said giggling. She was extreamly out of it still not having much blood.

"That was extreamly stupid you know. If your going to work for Naraku, he'll want you to be at least concious enough to defend yourself." He said his expressionless face dropping for a quick smirk, even thought she couldnt see it. That caught her attention.

"Stupid Kouga told you didn't he. Or are you just that smart. Well whatever, I'll be fine by tonight, I heal almost as good as you do." She pulled herself up and looked like she was almost standing on her own, besides the part where her shoulder was on his arm. "Your to tall you know it." She complained to him. He just nodded.

"Well lets get you back.I'll keep an eye on Kouga, tonight you get sleep." He told her sternly. She just grunted at him and walked back slowly to the school. It was almost time for thrid period so he just dropped her off in that corridor and went off to his own classes.

"Its not right for some one to have prettier hair than me." She said growling watching the silver locks float away. She just leaned on the door way as people walked out of the class. They all looked at her strangly and she just watched them blankly. Inuyasha walked out and cast a quick worried glance at her, and Kikyo just glared at her. She grinned and blew a kiss to her and stumbled into her class and sat down. Sango was the next person in and refused looked at her worriedly. Kagome was worried about last night might break things for her.

"What are you looking at you bitch." She growled, just to be safe. Sango turned her head away and just stared out the window and tryed to keep her eyes from watering. "For being such a strong girl you really are a wimp." She said bluntly.

*I should get an oscar....* she thought to herself. The class filed in and went through the class, she got strange stared the entire class, but she was oblivious.

Lunch came to soon for Kagome. She got food, she was depressed, and falling apart. But she wasnt stupid, to get back to normal she had to eat. She walked outside to eat on her own. It was better to act indifrent at this point. She could feel the same evil eyes on her, she knew it wasnt human, yet it wasnt really living at all actually.

*Watch me all you want princess. I'll get into your ranks anyways.* She growled mentally and went back to eating her sandwhich. She could only think about gym. Because from now on, how fast her plan moved was up to Naraku. They were on boxing, her father had taught her to box, before he died. It would be interesting. That class was mixed so she would either be parred with, one of the yu yu boys, or Sheshomaru, Inuyasha, or Kougra. Luckly it was her next class.

She felt some one coming closer. She couldnt see them, but it didnt matter.

"Fuck off." She growled, she didn't want company right now. Inuyasha came through, she just growled.

"Happy go lucky no more I see. You used to be so fun to fight with. Now you take it seriously." He said sitting next to her. She moved away from him.

"I always took it seriously." Her eyes were clouded now, not the sparkling grey they used to be. Inuyasha seemed to get even more sullen after noticing the fact. Kagome knew if she didn't finish this soon. It wouldnt be an act, she would really be this sinical, this mean, this uncaring. She didn't know if that would be good or not. Her life was destroyed already, but that was fine, as long as she got revenge.

"True enough. Now tell me about these new kids. Who are they, how do they know you. Why does it seem like they all like an care about you so much?" He asked. He knew that having people caring about her was a good thing, yet he didnt know who they were or anything about them.

"Like I would tell you jerk off." SHe said and got up and went to throw away her food.The cold black eyes followed her from its place in the tree. The puppet couldnt help but laugh as Inuyasha walked away. He looked back but didnt see anything so he just kept walking off towards the building.

Koruko sat at his desk deciding if he should or not. He took hold of the PA System receiver.... thingy and got ready. *Better before she gets herself killed I guess* he told himself. He pressed the button and got ready for the announcement.

"Would these people please report to the principles office. Sango, Miroku, Inuyasha, Sheshomaru, Kouga, Hiei, Kurama, Yusuke, Kwabara, and Botan." He said before shutting it off. This had all happened in a week but seemed like an eternity. He leaned back in his chair. Soon the students filed in.

"Whats this about?" Inuyasha growled. The others seeming to like the question, yet almost already knowing what was going on.

"Well, I dont know yet. All of you seem to know a little bit and I'd like to put the story together. Lets start with who I think knows most." He looked around the room his eyes resting on Kouga. He glared at him pointedly.

"Fine, She'll kill me if she finds out. But I'm sure she will anyways." He said and took a deep breath. "Year back Kagome's father was killed. The cops found nothing and quit the case." He was cut off by Inuyasha.

"You know nothin about it wimp." He growled and set himself into the chair. "Kago and her father were the best of friends you could ever find. She insesently talked about him... or her cat but thats not important. And any time they had together they were off doing something or other. She was completly lost when he was killed. She didn't know who could do such a thing. Even at that age she was completly enthralled with the case. She was sure the cops would find it. She was at my house crying her eyes out practically every day. Then they closed the case. She was furious. So she promised she would never let anything like that happen again. So she started to change. She became the Kagome you've known till recently. She worked out, she dragged me to the gym and had me sparr with her. She was horrible at first. But over the years she got stronger. She got more stubborn, and roudier. Yet ever more loving. Then Kikyo moved in, they started an imediate fude. Some how I ended up on Kikyo's side, till this day I havnt been able to figure it out really. Probably it was because she was being so mean to Kikyo because she was new, and I thought it was rude. I have no idea. But we broke our ties, untill last week." He said and sighed seeminly lost in the moment. Kouga growled at him and deicded to start again.

"But I know everything else dog turd. Onigumo (before i checked this i wrote Origami! mwahahahha) was the learder of the Acci. He recruited Kago's father with the threat of killing his family if he didn't work. He finally wore out his use and was killed. He's watched Kagome till this day, deciding she is now ready to be in his ranks. Only things are diffrent this time. I dont know what he is up to. But she knows, and I doubt he knows that. I've been set up, so if she dies to make sure that Souta, her grandfather, and Buyo get someplace. And are taken care of." He said. Sheshomaru decided to speak up.

"She's going to get in his ranks if it kills her. She could go and kill him. But she wants to make it more fun." He said smirking. "So she'll make him trust her, and get close enough, then take her revenge. And will kill any one who gets in her way, including any of us." He said as a warning.

"She's been training her Miko powers." Botan and Yusuke said at the same time. "She seems to have broken a barrior. Mainly when she scared that guy through her balcony. It must have opened something, because she's been more powerful than usual. And she was powerful before." Botan finished.

"Maybe we should explain." Kurama said. "There is another realm, where there is magic, demons, and spirt detectives. Such as Yusuke, Myself, Hiei, and Botan. Kagome came to work with us. She never was sick, she was on missions. She got to know us all very well, her and Botan close friends. Yusuke and new sparring buddy. Hiei just a fun rival, Kwabara as a punching bag, and me as a quite person to talk with. She was an amazing addition to our team. But Genki a very old teacher who had been close nit with Kagome died. It must have brought back memories.And Yusuke here couldnt keep his mouth shut getting in one to many fights. They started a full out attack, by the end both were drained. She got up and annonced she quit. We havnt seen here since. We were sent here to check on a disturbence. But I'm sure now it was just to keep an eye on Kagome. Jr. Still cares for her like a daughter and wants her safe. Yet we couldnt do much, how ever we tried." He knew he could speak for the team and they wouldnt mind.

"I know she's dieing. Maybe physically, I'm sure she is actually. But emotionally, mentally she's killing herself. I called and checked her messages on her cellphone. There are at least 10 from a Hystarical Souta, 1 from Shippo, and 3 from her grandfather." Sango said almost in tears again.

"She dosn't plan to live through this. And if she dose, she wont stay here for long." Koroku said. Getting the attention of all the kids. "Her grandfather spoke to her, and just could tell. Souta is to know that she died in a car accident, and nothing else." He said sollemly. He sat in his chair, and shooed them out. Everyone had to think about this... in their own way. He had no idea what was going to happen... and right now he wasnt really sure if he wanted to.

The bell rang and the kids filled into the gym room. All the experienced people had there hands taped, and new newbies to it looked somewhat ready to learn. Well the guys anyways. Most of the girls were worried about their nails. The teacher came in a sighed. He looked over to them already grouped. He started by naming off pairs.

"Inuyasha, Kouga. Sheshomaru, Kagome." After that she stopped listening. Both of the younger boys seemed quite pissed with the pairing, but Kagome really didnt mind. She gave him a quirky little depressed smile. He remained mainly expressionless, but you could see a glint of something in his eyes if u REALLY looked. They went to stand together, The teacher's leachture drowing out.

"Finally glad to take out your anger on some one who can take it?" He wispered to her. She just nodded smirking at him. She knew he would know about pretty much everything, that was how he was. She didn't mind he wouldn't talk. She was pretty sure about that. She started out, she liked this class, he really didnt care what u did as long as u wern't seriously killing the other person. So the two started to take out their anger and built up frustration out on one another.

She didn't notice the stares or glances they were earning. She was tottally lost in her own world. This felt good. FInally getting to let things out, being able to share in her own way. So she didnt have to hide anymore, at least for that brief bit. It was heaven to her.
