Kanna walked into the bank, wanting to get some money for her and her three year old sister, Naomi. She stood in line, her pink hair going to her shoulders and atop her head sat two cat like ears. Her blue eyes scanned the crowd, getting bored. She looked about 13-14, but no one really knew how old she really was. She wore a red t-shirt that said "Life is like a box of chocolates, and I will eat every Fu**ing chocolate in that box" and a black skirt. She tapped her foot, as she just stood there. She jumped when she heard a gun shot. She turned around warily, seeing a girl in her later teens. The girl walked to the front, pointing the gun in the tellers face. The said girl had shorter black hair and gray eyes that sparkled with mystery.

"Give me all the money you got." She spit in the tellers face. The teller (let us call her Kim.) put the money on the countertop and pushed it towards the girl. "Put in a bag." the girl said. Kim put the money, probably $500 dollars, in the bag. The girl smirked and ran out, a cocky look on her face.

Kanna blinked, making sure what she just saw really happened. Kanna ran after the girl, soon catching up with her. The girl smirked and stopped, and turned right, going into a alleyway. Kanna followed but stopped when the girl hit her over the head hard enough to knock her out.

When Kanna woke up, she was in a large black room, with only a window in it and a bed, The window was barred so she couldn't go anywhere.

"Darn it..." she mumbled.

"Well lookie here...the little hero has finally awoken.." The girl that robbed the bank smiled.

"Mae... Why do you have her here?" Asked a guy who just walked in. He had choppy black hair that went past his shoulders and honey colored eyes.

"Oshi..." Mae said. (Mae being the robber, Oshi being the guy that just walked in. *dodges book that is thrown at her* Sorry!) Oshi wore baggy green pants, a white shirt with long sleeves and a black shirt on top. On the shirt he has a big black back with him the bag says "Misunderstood" on it in white letters. He has two necklaces on his neck, one is a dragon and the other looks more like a white string and sometimes.

"Mae, shut up." Oshi said. Kana just looked at them, and she started to giggle. They were bickering like a brother and a sister. They both turned to glare at her. Mae got up and pushed Oshi out of the room.

"Leave us alone!" Mae yelled closing the door. "Sorry bout Oshi.. he can be so-" She was cut off as she was thrown into the opposite wall. Kanna and Mae turned to see Hiei, a P.O.ed look on his face. Mae gulped.

"Kioshi (or Oshi) told me you brought back a hostage... why?" Hiei held Mae up on the wall, him holding her throat tightly.

"S-she followed me!" Mae sputtered out. Hiei `Hn'ed and dropped Mae, Mae gasping for air. Hiei walked to Kanna and stood over her.

"You are a stupid girl.. we must kill you now." Hiei pulled out his katana and was about to kill Kanna but Mae tackled Hiei, protecting her.

"Do not hurt her.. since I took her here, she will be my responsibility." Mae said holding Hiei's katana she miraculously pried from Hiei's hand in front of her.

"Hn...give me back my katana." Hiei said, grabbing his katana and walking out. Mae turned to a dumbfounded Kanna.

"Sorry bout that... Hiei hates it when we bring hostage's home..." Mae said as she sat next to Kanna.

"Mae..." Kanna said, looking down.

"Yes?" Mae asked as she looked at her. "Aww... your crushin' for him!"

"I am not!" Kanna countered. Mae smiled and tackled Kanna, tickling her. "You sooooo do!" Mae said while tickling a laughing Kanna.

After they were done playing, they laid close to each other talking. (NOT YURI!!! Just friends!!) (Oh...and they being Mae and Kanna) "So what's up with you and Oshi?" Kanna asked.

"I.. don't know..." Mae said, blushing madly.

"Oh my god...you like him!" Kanna said, giggling.

"I do not! Even if I did, he doesn't like me.." Mae said, hugging her new best friend.

"Aww.. I bet he does! I saw the look in his eyes!" Kanna said, her cat ears twitching slightly. "Someone's at the door." she stated as Oshi walked in. "Speak of the devil.." Kanna mumbled so only Mae could hear.
