Friend or Foe?

A/N~Ok just to let ya know again one shot here, PWP, lemon of course and yes a cross over, can ya believe that?? hehe..anyhow basicly I needed something with out plots, to write in hopes of luring my muse back out of vacation. ~~~Kagome cursed under her breath as she walked faster through the dark deserted streets towards her home. She hadnt meant to stay at the library so long but she had alot to catch up on and hadnt realized how late it had gotten. She needed to get home fast, her mom would be worried, and if Inuyasha had gotten tired of waiting for her to come back to the fuedal era he would be waiting as well and no doubt pissed beyond belief. And a pissed of Inuyasha was not a good thing. Thinking to save some time she decided to cut through the park. She knew going through the park was not a good idea at night time, muggers and gangs hung out there at night, but at the moment Kagome was more worried about a pissed of hanyou and mother than some thugs. Besides if she could stand down demons she could stand down some humans. Or so she had thought.

~~~Not more than 15 minutes later as she was crossing a small rock bridge over the small stream that crossed through the park she heard a noise ahead of her. She gasped and started to get a bit scared when she saw two badly dressed, thuggish looking guys at the end of the bridge smoking ciggarettes.

"Hmmmm what do we have here?..hasnt anyone ever told you not to go walking through the park alone little girl?" said one of the guys leering at her. The other snickered.

"Pfft..like walking through the park is as dangerous as going through Inuyasha's forest with demons chasing your ass." she mumbled, a bit of her fire coming back.

"What did you say bitch?" asked the first guy again. Kagome looked at him and narrowed her eyes at him. What was with guys called her that all the time?

"Look I dont want any trouble so if you just get out of my way and let me pass we can forget any of this ever happened." Kagome replied with a smile and a wave of her hand, trying to diffuse anything before it happened. Just then she heard a noise behind her and whirled around. At the other end of the bridge, the part she had just crossed was two more guys, just like the first two, and they were leering at her and laughing. Oh this didnt look too good she thought.

"You have to pay the toll girl if you want to pass this bridge." came the voice of the first guy again.

"What toll?" she asked a bit nervously. He just grinned evily and started advancing towards her, so did the other guy he was with along with the two behind her.

"Oh shit." she said before dropping her books on the bridge and holding out her palms towards the advancing men in front of her. To them it looked as if she was warding them off and it made them cackle like fools.

~~~Kagome smirked when she saw the looks on the faces of the men in front of her. They thought her weak and helpless did they? She would show them. Her palms started to tingle and a pinkish glow started to glow and the two men in front of her stopped in thier tracks with surprise. Kagome smiled once more and made sure to tapper the miko energy in her palms so she wouldnt kill them, then closing her eyes and controling the energy in her she let out a small blast. It shot from her hands and straight towards the two in front of her. She opened her eyes and watched the two guys sprawled out on the groud unconscience. She hurridly turned to the attackers to her rear who were standing there with shock on thier faces. But before she could say a word or do anything at all, she saw a shadowy black blur of lightning and the two men in front of her were gone. They appeared as out of thin air a few seconds later on the ground, not moving, she could see blood on thier faces, one from a nose and the other from his mouth.

"Oh shit.." she panicked as she turned around and and started to run. She got no farther than the end of the bridge when she was picked up in the air and taken into a denser part of the park and slammed none to gently but not really hard either against the trunk of a tree.

~~~Kagome looked at the person in front of her holding her pinned to a tree. He was her hieght, with long spikey hair with a white starburst shape in front. He had on a white bandana wrapped around his forehead. He was dressed all in black except for the white bandana and a scarf around his neck, the rest, his cloak, his pants and his shoes were all black. At his side he wore a Katana. She gulped and looked into his ruby red eyes that were flashing fire right now. This made her gulp and shiver a bit.

"I.."she started but was cut off, when he slammed his lips against hers in a bruising kiss. Kagome moaned. She wasnt going to get out of this anytime soon and she knew it.

Yes he would punish her if she wasnt more carefull, and she had no doubt he would be sorely pissed if she ever did it intentionally. She wasnt stupid. She knew there was a dark side to him and she would never ever push him to show it to her. Youd have to be nuts to want to goad Hiei's dark side out.

"I love you Hiei.." she purred into his chest as she let her eyes drift shut.

"I know...and I love you too Kagome." he replied, and even though his tone was even and calm, she knew he meant every word of it.

"Im sorry I was late."

"I know..be more carefull ok?"

"I will."

"Good..now sleep...that stupid hanyou is going to have a fit but your not going anywhere tonight.."

"he wont be happy." she yawned.

"Who cares..your my mate not his." he stated possesivly.

"He knows that."

"I know."

"But he still wont be happy."

"Who cares...like Im affraid of that baka."

"No but you promised me you wouldnt fight with him and he you...your my mate, but hes my best friend..it would kill me if either of you hurt each other." she told him.

"I know and I wouldnt do anything to hurt you..you know that."

"I know love I know."

"Now sleep we will worry about the hanyou later." he commanded. She smiled and sighed in contentment.

"Yes mate."
